The Insignium

Once upon a Time in the magical land of Equestria, after Twilight Sparkle took over the Throne a new age of inventions started. 2 Millenia after she took over the Kingdom she transformed Equestria into more of a Democracy in which the princess herself is supported by a council of 5 other ponies, her ministers,

the Minister of Technology currently Applejack, the Minister of Agriculture, who currently is Pinkie because she is related to the biggest Apple provider in all of Equestria , the Minister of Healthcare and of course that title is owned by Fluttershy, the Minister of Education, as surreal as this sounds that position is owned by Rainbow Dash, who went out of her way as Boss of the EEA, a job that goes hand in hand with the title of Minister of Education, to make lessons in every school how they are handled in the school of friendship and that with success, the ditching numbers went down to nearly zero and last but not least Rarity is appointed as the Minister of Defense which overall is because of her taking threads to Equestria very seriously and nearly begging Twilight for the job so she could once and forever make Equestria save for her little sister and all the other ponies

and after some time the ponies of Equestria cried out for a law to make it legal to be made immortal by the princess which was passed in the council and with that the roads were lined for something Rarity always planned in the back: She let herself be made immortal and soon the others followed her to be able to help the ponies forever.

Soon Equestria made peace treaties with all the other creature nations and had a lot of technological inventions, the most important: The Battleships. After sometime the ministry of Technology and the Ministry of Defense unveiled their newest project:

The Battleships are 3 Classes of Spaceships:

The first ones are the Intimidator class Frigates which have about the size of Ponyville and are equipped with laser canons and Plasma rockets, which essentially lock on their target, impact and about 5 seconds after that they explode in a burst of fire to destroy the compartment it hits, a Mark-I-Shield generator which can holdout laser fire for quite a while but is weak against the rockets and a small Warp drive,

then the Valorant class Carriers which are about 3 Frigates big and have laser canons, a Mark-II-Shield generator to better protect them from rockets and a standard sized Warp drive several drone bays, the drones having the size of about 5 ponies and are equipped with small plasma canons to destroy shields but on their own not too effective against the armor of other starships, 5 drones are controlled by a pilot in front of a computer on the Carrier to ensure as less deaths as possible and a carrier is equipped with 25-50 drones

and last but not least the big boys: The Imperator Class Warships who have the size of about 3 Carriers and have two docking stations, one on each side, to attach two Intimidators and is equipped with three rows of laser canons on the sides countless amounts of rocket launchers and up to 25 drones and the standard Warp drive,

but then there’s the Insignium the main Flagship of the 1. Equestrian Space Fleet and with that the Flagship of the whole space division of the Military, so of course it has some special modifications, it is a beast, it has the size of 2 Imperators and only one docking station on the bottom for any ship to dock if needed or to dock onto the space station that hovers over Equestria and it has 4 rows of laser canons and more rocket launchers than should be possible, a special big warp drive and a Mark-III-Shield generator which is nearly undestroyable and can survive a direct hit from a nuclear missile and has several hangars with a combined storage of 100 drones.

Years after the battleships were build a strange unknown Battleship approached the Space station and after hours of trying to contact the ship the comms were flooded with the message:

“FOR CHRYSALIS!” and the ship opened fire on one of the Frigates.

The Captain of said Frigate barked: “RETURN FIRE!” and after a short battle he rushed to the Station and went straight to Canterlot.

“I got your message Captain what happened in the Orbit?”, Twilight questioned after he entered the Throne room which now has thrones for the ministers too.

“Somehow the changelings made it to another planet and build Battleships themselves and one tried to attack the Swordfish”, he answered.

And from there on Equestria was at war.
