The Insignium

After Citrus finally let him go, the captain trotted to the bridge with the mare still close to him. As he arrived, he was greeted by Bullet gleefully exclaiming:

“Captain on deck!”,

“Captain I’ve got the Station on the Holocom.”, a comm mare added,

“Put them through.”, the Captain said as he sat down in his chair. The whole bridge was surprised as not the image of a worker lit up but the image of Spitfire herself,

“Thanks for saving our flanks out there Captain.”, she said,

“You…’re … welcome”, the Captain stuttered back still confused about why the General herself is in the line,

“But I fear this still isn’t quite over yet, the Princess wants to see you seems to be something urgent.”, she continues. The Captain takes a second to regain his composure and answered,

“Then I won’t let her wait. Citrus you take over again.”. As he said that he stood up and trotted back to hangar 3 to take a shuttle, but this time due to the urgency of whatever the princess wants him for, and it has to be something very important if the general herself delivers the message, directly to the castle. As he arrived a royal guard approached him,

“Sir this way please!”, he said in a nearly commanding voice and as the stallion led him through a secret entrance, he realized that whatever this is all about it is something secret. They exited the secret path right in front of the huge doors to the Chamber of the council, as they entered the princess immediately turned to him and started:

“Captain good that you are here we have an urgent and top secret problem we need your help with!”,

“Then what is it?”, the captain asked,

“As we made peace treaties with the other creature nations a lot of ponies and other creatures didn’t like that and tried to start brutal revolutions or to assassinate their current leaders to elect one that ends the treaties”, Twilight started to explain, “But those failed leaving groups of creatures and ponies who were a danger to everybody else”,

“So we sent them to the moon”, Rarity continued, “but since neither of us have the power to banish someone there we built a prison there”,

“but”, Rainbow Dash chimed in, “while the changelings attacked Equestria one ship deployed landers on the moon and they took over the prison.”,

“And you want the Insignium to destroy the facility”, the captain concluded,

“NO”, Fluttershy answered strictly, “We can’t do this we still may have ponies there and that would potentially give those dangerous people in there a chance to escape”,

“So a Black Ops mission?”, the captain asked,

“Yes”, Twilight answered, “You and three other ponies you trust have to go in there, kill the intruders and give it back to us.”.

The Captain returned to his bridge and exclaimed: “Citrus, Bullet and Gearhead, to my office we need to talk.”, the three ponies followed hesitantly wondering what’s going on. As the captain explained everything the eyes of his team widened for different reasons, Citrus´ out of pure horror, Bullet´s as he realized that after years of sitting on a bridge shouting orders he can do something else again and Gearhead was already mentally loading his old minigun but that thought was quickly dispatched as Spearhead said:

“But it has to be a stealth mission so only silenced smgs!”,

“But what about me you know that I can give support with my Sniper”, Bullet interjected and it was true Bullet was more than able to wield an MP5 but his cutie mark wasn’t a sniper bullet for no reason, so the Captain thought quickly and said:

“Can you mount a Silencer on your Caliber 50?”,

“Sure I can I think I even have one still in the gun case.”, The Pegasus happily answered. So, there it was, the captain ordered the Insignium to patrol the orbit while they wait for other ships to complete the fleet and made Midnight Flyer the Substitute Captain and so the four ponies trotted to the armory to gear up.

“I’m not sure if I’m the right pony for the job…”, Citrus questioned Spearhead as he fitted the special stealth saddle that includes a Invisibility mode, night vision goggles and a weapon mechanism that had a silenced MP5 and a silenced USP mounted with a quick rotation switch as a pressable pedal for the right back hoof for fast switch between both guns, a reload pedal for the right forehoof and a trigger in front of the mouth to bite on to shoot,

“No I’m sure you can help us.”, the captain answered as he fitted his own saddle with only one little change from the standard one: instead of a USP this has the captains pistol of choice the M1911 mounted,

“No”, Citrus explained, “I mean I never really killed a pony myself or any creature for that matter, I don’t know if I could bite the trigger when push comes to shove.”,

“In that case I take over the kill”, Bullet said as he trotted in with his special saddle; the MP5 was replaced by a silenced Barret Caliber 50, and a silenced SMG11 instead of the pistol. The crew, fully loaded and geared up, walked towards the special Black Ops shuttle which of course has an Invisibility generator, sadly ,Spearhead thought, this special generator never could be fitted for the battleships or for drones but it can be put on a shuttle.

“So”, the captain started explaining, “we still have to wait a little bit until the moon side the prison is on is turned away from the sun”, that was because of the princess who in her fear of not being able to handle both sun and moon transformed the whole solar System so Equestria and all the other Planets circle around the sun and the moon circles around Equestria which essentially now does the job only with a small interference every one thousand years or so in which the moon goes in front of the sun for about 15 minutes the other time the moon does get shined on by the sun but doesn’t go in front of it.

As they entered the shuttle it went completely invisible and as it started flying the bridge could only locate it over the ping on the radar. The shuttle landed and as Bullet made his way to a mountain he located on a map while preparing for the mission and the other ones walked towards the prison putting on the night vision.

“I can see the main switch for the lighting from here I can turn it off as soon as you need it as soon as you need it”, Bullet said through the earpieces,

”Wait just a bit more we aren’t there yet”, Spearhead answered as they walked to the south wall.

“Ok here’s the plan”, he explained, “we climb over the wall and as soon as everybody is on the other side we use the grappling hooks to get to the roof, we enter though a skylight and clear it from top to bottom and then we send a message to Equestria and they come pick us up. Understood?”,

“Yes.”, the other three whispered in unison,

“And I spot and if needed shot enemies with my thermal scope”, Bullet added. They made their way to the wall and the captain gave the ok to their sniper and with a not audible Pfft the main switch was destroyed and all lights went out,

“What was that?”, a changeling hissed,

“Maybe just another power shortage”, another one answered,

“Two on the other side of the wall”, the captain whispered,

“I can get one but you’ll have to get the other one yourself.”, Bullet answered the unasked question,

”I´ll get the other one when I’m going down the other side”, the captain answered back as he threw the grappling hook on the wall, ”Wait for my ok.”, as he climbed up he could hear the two changeling say something about if the project is still safe, “3…2…1…Now!”, the captain whispered into his earpiece, with more not audible Pffts the two changelings collapsed with bullets in their heads. The three made their way towards the main building, arriving there they threw the grappling hooks up, even Citrus getting the difficult throw on her first try, they climbed up and trotted to the skylight. Looking through it, Gearhead said:

“Two below the skylight any more Bullet?”,

“Nope the top floor is surprisingly empty”, the Pegasus sniper answered. As they descended the two changelings where eliminate by Bullet.

“Somethings wrong I can feel it”, Spearhead said mentally kicking himself as 6 changelings appeared and he damned himself for always being right with those feelings. 3 threw Gearhead to the ground but after easily killing the first one the other two attacked him with their fangs so he had to struggle against them with his hooves, another two fought with Spearhead one getting Bullets through his head the other one charging at him, both ending up rolling around fighting each other the,

“Bullet we need your help NOW”, he shouted into his earpiece but from the sound of struggling and the words:

"Gruzifix kimm hea i zoag da woas a kampf is!" from the other end he knew that Bullet, who tended to switch to his native language when cussing, too was in a hoof fight with changelings, the sixth in the room went for Citrus, she hesitated to shoot and the attacker saw his opportunity and charged at her throwing her to the floor and pinning her with his hooves and to the surprise of everypony in the room he started ripping apart her amour but not on any vital point so he could finish her of, he ripped apart the amor right where her private parts are!

She let out a terrified squeak knowing well that she was about to be raped by the changeling but her squeak made Spearhead look up for just a second enough to see what the changeling was planning to do. Filled with rage, forgetting every concern, he headbutted the changeling knocking the attacker off of him and finished him of with a quick burst from his rifle, then he turned towards Citrus who nearly had the changeling in her and he screamed out:

“No you are not!”, and stormed towards the changeling and threw himself against the rapist tackling him away from Citrus and fighting him on the ground but the changeling rolled them so he was on top and started trying to dig his fangs into the stallion who was holding his attacker back with his hooves.

Pfft.

The changeling fell to the ground, “Good to see you back Bullet”, Spearhead exclaimed happily but from the struggling on the other end and still continuing bavarian cussing he knew that wasn’t Bullet, as he looked around he spotted a shacking Citrus with her pistol, she ripped out of her damaged saddle, in her mouth. She was devastated, she never killed before and even if it was a changeling she had just killed a living breathing creature and Spearhead immediately rushed to her and she jumped to him embracing him once more in a tight hug,

than starting to weep as gearhead threw of the last changeling and finished him off and according to the sounds and the words: "Ha you bunch of useless specimen of cunts should think twice next time!" in the earpiece Bullet just finished of the changeling he was fighting with his SMG11, they just sat there Citrus crying about what she just did and after what could be 5 minutes but could have also been 5 hours Citrus stopped crying not having any tears left and as Bullet saw that it was time to mention it he said:

“Someone told them they were prepared!”,

“And I know who.”, the captain explained, “But for now we have to clear the building and according to the two we killed there’s something important in the basement, we have to find whatever it is and neutralize it!”.

And so the ponies collected everything they could carry and Gearhead did his best to fix Citrus´ saddle but still could only get it running so far that she could use her pistol but she wasn’t planning to shoot anymore not after what she did minutes ago. They were ready to continue their journey through the building and Spearhead already knew what to do when this all was finished or rather the two things he had to do.
