A Glitch in Equestria

Returning to the hub I showed sunset the way to navigate the minigames and the only one we could access was night 1 of the five nights at Freddy’s set of minigames.

“Now just to warn you these games are using recycled phone calls from the franchises past so the location we are about to enter is the first game I know of the Five nights at Freddy’s series in my world. Night five of the game is in dark mode which needs the first four to be finished and unlocked. We got enough of me reconstituted that I can help by actually interacting with the game itself now. Just small things like buttons though anything else will need me restored quite a bit.” I said as I was feeling more solid since we restored rebel and innocence where they belonged.

“Right but are you sure about this?” Asked sunset.

“No but we don’t have much choice if we need to stop the killer from claiming more lives in the future” I said sighing.

" Great so what do I have to do in these games” asked sunset.

“First night in this case the goal is to keep Bonnie and chica out of the office. The trick is to keep an ear out so if you hear a animatronic approach the office shut the doors. Here the cameras don’t start draining battery until night 3 so you have to keep a eye on battery and remember only close the doors if the animatronics get right outside the doors. You have to survive from midnight to six for the first 15 minigames. All of those are night shifts as a security guard. The next set are the dark room minigames based on the nightmares I mentioned earlier. After those is parts and services where you repair the animatronics. Matenence is after that with vent repair. The final set of standard mode is night terrors. Once you finish that you unlock one of the three endings for the VR game called pizza party. Careful as that makes you trapped in the game if you enter the curtain once you are led through the maze back to the hub area. Other than that it’s going to get more difficult as you progress” I said explaining what sunset had in store going in.

" Okay thanks for the warning” said sunset.

“I’m going to be right by you the whole time. Now there are no tapes in the second set of minigames which is the location you mentioned opening this summer but there are fazcoins. Once you get around 23 of them the hub area changes bringing out a miniature animatronic named helpy which is the reason glitchtrap the original was revived as a incarnation of the killer. There are technically five locations in the series that we might end up encountering in the real world. The games I know of had this place as the eighth installment of the series. The seventh was the killer living out his own personal hell in the actual hell led by the first person he killed” I said shuddering. Ultimate custom night was creepy no doubt about that.

Shaking that off we entered the first game and I motioned to the tape which sunset grabbed making Justice appear and I showed her where the coins would be with the last one of this area having conditions to appear. Which I explained was that it would appear from 3 to 6 and seems justice was as solid as I was now so both of us manned the doors while sunset used the cameras.

Right on cue the phone rang to give sunset the first phone call.

”Hello, hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually worked in that office before you. I’m finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact. So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I’m here to tell you there’s nothing to worry about. Uh, you’ll do fine. So, let’s just focus on getting you through your first week. Okay?” Phone guy said or I guess I should say Scott really informed sunset as I kept an eye out on the hallway where Bonnie and foxy go down.

“Well that’s reassuring” sunset noted.

“Not really keep listening” I told her.

”Uh , let’s see, first there’s an introductory greeting from the company that I’m supposed to read. Uh, it’s kind of a legal thing, you know. Um, “Welcome to Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. A magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person. Upon discovering that damage or death has occurred, a missing person report will be filed within 90 days, or as soon property and premises have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached, and the carpets have been replaced.” Scott said making sunset drop her jaw as she stared at the phone in shock.

“Yeah Fazbear entertainment is not really the best at informing new employees about anything of the job. Mike didn’t even get the interview just was given the job and was not told anything else” I informed her sighing as she looked properly horrified at the company’s business sense.

”Blah blah blah, now that might sound bad, I know, but there’s really nothing to worry about. Uh, the animatronic characters here do get a bit quirky at night, but do I blame them? No. If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath? I’d probably be a bit irritable at night too. So, remember, these characters hold a special place in the hearts of children and we need to show them a little respect, right? Okay.” Scott continued.

" Great so twenty years from now I might have to deal with the real versions of these guys” sunset muttered.

" Not that long like about six years really that was the time gap as in my world the location with the toy generation took place in 1987 with this place taking place in 1993 so college age at least” I informed.

" Holy hell!” Cursed sunset letting her head flop face first onto the desk.

”So, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uh, they’re left in some kind of free roaming mode at night. Uh...Something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long. Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too. But then there was The Bite of ‘87. Yeah. I-It’s amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know?” Scott nervously mentioned.

” Wait ... WHAT!” Sunset asked bolting up to give the phone a incredious expression of sheer disbelief and horror.

“Yeah not even I know what really happened there but it’s likely not the same event as that one disastrous birthday. Still not something to be thrown around lightly” I said shaking my head.

” Well that is just great how often does this kind of thing happen!” Sunset asked looking enraged.

" Way to often for my taste to be honest” justice said as well not surprising to me she is my sense of justice after all.

”Uh, now concerning your safety, the onlyrealrisk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won’t recognize you as a person. They’ll p-most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now since that’s against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, they’ll probably try to...forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit. Um, now, that wouldn’t be so bad if the suits themselves weren’t filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices, especially around the facial area. So, you could imagine how having your head forcefully pressed inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort...and death. Uh, the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again would be your eyeballs and teeth when they pop out the front of the mask, heh.” Scott said making me and justice cringe as that was a little to close to my situation which made sunset get up and hug me as well that was a fresh wound on my psyche seeing as I haven’t been a animatronic long.

”Y-Yeah, they don’t tell you these things when you sign up. But hey, first day should be a breeze. I’ll chat with you tomorrow. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright, good night.” Scott finished as sunset sat back down.

With that we went to keep out Bonnie and chica from the office and sunset letting us know which was about to hit the halls. Bonnie came by 20 times with chica nly five times less and as we closed both doors for the 21st and 16th visits respectfully the last Fazbear coin for this area appeared on the monitor and sunset grabbed it and both visited a total of 35 and 20 times by the time we reappeared in the hub.

“Holy hell if that was passive I don’t want to know how aggressive looks” said sunset.

" I suggest holding off on listening to that tape for now justice is going to be needed for the remaining four nights of this set. Though last one will be grey scale” I told her shaking a bit as well I can only press the buttons and I still find the animatronics creepy. Thankfully when I made my costume I went for pretty and not creepy.

“So take a few minutes to calm down before going back in” said sunset.

" Yeah just watch out because those phone calls only get worse up to night 4 at least until the second set. The second set is more tame it’s the third set that’s more disturbing” I told her as I calmed down.

" Hopefully it’s not going to be that bad” justice said and I gave her a Look.

" You did not just say that” I deadpanned.

" She jinxed us didn’t she” asked sunset realizing what my tone meant.

“Big time. Things are getting more difficult over time remember” I said giving justice a very pointed look.

Once we recovered we hopped into night 2. Hopefully with foxy joining in it won’t be that much harder.
