A Glitch in Equestria

When sunset reappeared she looked sheepish as she didn’t come alone. I blinked at the blue skinned teen with rainbow hair and red eyes in a blue sports tracksuit with a rainbow colored lightning bolt coming from a cloud emblem, a yellow skinned girl with pink hair and blue eyes in a yellow blouse and green skirt with three butterflies on it and a pink skinned and haired girl who looked like she worked at a bakery.

“Sunset who are they and how did you get them into this game” I asked confused.

" Well when I realized I was back in my body I contacted my friends to see if they can confirm the fredbear diner thing and they did so when they asked me why I wanted to know I had to tell them as I didn’t like lying to them” sunset said before motioning to the three girls.

" As for who they are this is rainbow dash, Fluttershy and pinkie. They grabbed their vr stuff and hooked them to my game system. Rarity and Applejack would join us but I had to let another friend know what’s going on so I asked them to buy a seventh set so she can enter” said sunset.

" I must say I do find it hard to believe your human but you do look cool” said rainbow.

With a sigh I looked at my suits gaps again before I went wide eyed and actually pulled off my animatronic hand like a glove and there was a very faint transparent human hand.

“I think there is your answer. I think the more fragments we find the more I slowly get at least some of my humanity restored. Looks like it’s just my skin as a buffer between the endoskeleton and the suit. I might be able to take the glitch trap costume and appear as a normal teen if I can get a body out of this game” I said as I looked at the spectral hand before I put back on the animatronic covering.

" So what now” asked rainbow.

“Well now that we know going to sleep here returns you to your bodies we know to Pace ourselves before we complete the game. But if I’m looking at the code right only sunset can enter the minigames as this is her save file. You guys can monitor us from here if needed. Why a game has biometric DNA scanners that lock the first person to play as the main character I have no idea... Or why sunset has horse DNA wait what?” I said blinking as I accessed the game code.

" Um like you I’m not from this dimension so the friend I was telling you about? She’s a princess in my home dimension. Met her was it last week?” Sunset said looking to Fluttershy.

" Yes princess twilight really befriended you last week seeing as your her senior as you were both taught by the same teacher in your world from what we can tell from what both of you told us” said Fluttershy.

" Yeah well with the whole mind transference thing that someone thought was a good idea to include into this thing which I’m guessing was glitchtrap I will find out what that’s about as with the way this is written I’m only going to attach myself to sunset until we can figure out away to transfer me from her to a actual body. Normally the function is to trap the hosts mind in the game letting glitchtrap take over the body instead I’m going to let sunset stay in her body and just temporarily hitch a ride in her mind. I’m not sure how it works” I said rubbing the back of my head.

" Can’t argue that kind of logic” said rainbow.

" So your going to finish up the minigames for five nights at Freddy’s one and then unlock dark room mode so you can unlock the prequel sequal fnaf 2 to deal with the toy generation?” Asked pinkie making me blink at her.

" Oh dear lord your a observer aren’t you your naturally chaotic enough your aware of the multiverse and can contact your counterpart from sunset’s dimension” I said as my gold coloration went white as a ghost.

" How did you know” asked pinkie stunned.

“Your file in the code since I’m not naturally part of this virtual reality I can manipulate it and access it if I wanted to I can see your file” I said shaking it off.

" That explains way to much about you pinkie” said rainbow.

Sunset and I went into the fourth night minigame and took our places to listen to the call.

”Hello , hello? Hey! Hey, wow, day 4. I knew you could do it.” Scott stated on a cheerful note.

" Sure right” sunset muttered wondering how she was going to handle these four six years down the line on her own.

”Uh, hey, listen, I may not be around to send you a message tomorrow. *banging sound* It’s-It’s been a bad night here for me. Um, I-I’m kinda glad that I recorded my messages for you *clears throat* uh, when I did.” Scott continued making her look at the phone surprised at the sudden tone shift.

“What do you mean by that Scott” sunset asked and I winced and sighed.

" Brace yourself this is something no one back home has even figured out what exactly happened on his end of the call” I said hand on her shoulder.

”Uh , hey, do me a favor. *bang bang* Maybe sometime, uh, you could check inside those suits in the back room? *bang bang* I’m gonna to try to hold out until someone checks. Maybe it won’t be so bad. *bang bang* Uh, I-I-I-I always wondered what was in all those empty heads back there. *chime plays*.
You know...*moan* oh, no - *noises followed by an animatronic screech and static*” with that the call ended and I could hear not only sunset crying but chica from down the hall making me poke my head out to give her a look.

“Are you actually crying about how Scott died chica? I mean many back home wondered how he died exactly because how could you guys have even gotten in the office that day” I asked surprised to see actual tears in the hen’s eyes.

“That’s just it we don’t remember how that day happened or that entire week so to hear that call it’s just making me feel really sad and upset” chica replied.

" Well remember we can prevent that once we find your withered versions at the real world pizzaria where we can upload your memory data and current programming into your counterparts so that doesn’t repeat in this world” I reminded making her nod before she looked up determined.

“Then let’s get you prepared to find out the truth and prevent so many lost lives” said chica and I pulled my head back into the office dealing with the four barely helping sunset survive to six am with battery down to half.

Taking a deep breath we shared a look. “Well partner we might be able to do this. We got six years to get as good as we can I got a plan to prevent the Fazbear gang from getting dismantled once Fazbear entertainment shuts down we need to make convincing fakes before letting will become springtrap. Once the actual Freddy Fazbear virtual experience is made we can confront him before he can mess with vanny I don’t want a damn killing cult starting up because of him” I said and sunset smirked.

" You really care about this vanny character” sunset asked.

" No one deserves to have a cyber virus mess with their head. Plus stopping glitchtrap means saving countless lives from his influence” I said recalling all the lives lost past and future because of William Afton.

With that vow we returned to the hub area which became shadowed as we have unlocked the first dark room night 5.

“Ready for this sunset” I asked as we looked at rainbow and Fluttershy with pinkie at the monitor giving us a thumbs up.

“We need to get past this to restore you and I feel that with you having my back we can’t be beat. Though since after all this your going to be in my head I think you can be considered my sister marrie Nexus I always wanted a sister and your two years younger than me so as the older sister it’s my job to get you back together” said sunset making me blink back tears before giving her a nod.

" I always wanted a sister too so let’s do this sis!” I said as after what we went through so far here we are family no doubt about that. Entering the minigame it was time to clear this era of the game and change history once we get to the real world.
