The Trinational war of Equestria.

Chapter 1: Previous Events

Its been a long while since Celestia has ruled over Equestria. After a mighty foe rose up and corrupted Equestria throughout its roots, even Celestia's 6 champions were slowly descending to corruption and struggling to fight it off. Celestia had no choice but to use her power to exile the creature. However, it came with a price as Celestia was exiled along with the menacing corruption, leaving Luna to rule on her own and with little knowledge.

Luna, having so much resting on her shoulders, saw a way to  relieve herself of having to endlessly monitor Equestria while doing her other tasks. he appointed three leaders (one of each species, of course) to help keep everything under control while she tended to some of her other duties.

Arcana Mistic, Powerful magician of the unicorns. Cyclona gust, easily angered leader of the pegasi. And finally Terra Erath, Bulky and stubborn leader of the earth ponies. With the monoriting of Equestria off her hoofs Luna could finally get her other tasks in line, although she still worried for her older sister, as did most of Equestria she was sure. Little did Luna know how much of a mistake she had made. At hearing the name of their rival champions of the races they became angered and chose to confront each other in person (or pony as it would be in the land of Equestria).

They galloped to meet each other and figure out just whats going on. As they all galloped up to the same place and stopped to confront each other. No sooner than they had arrived had they begun to fling questions and statements of anger towards each other. "Cyclona, its been too long!" Shouted the sarcastic Earth pony "thats what I always hated about you, seems like you haven't changed a bit!" replied the hot-headed Pegasus pony "both of you, This is completely unsophisticated!" exclaimed the Unicorn attemting to overcome the enraged other two "you still stick your nose where its not needed, Arcana!" spat the pegasus "Why you little-" the conflict continued for a hours on end of Insults, Curses and shouting.

The enraged Trio had a history which eventually led them to push themselves to be better than the other, Luna saw their strength and , in a weird coincidence, chose them each for that strength. Finally, The argument died down with a last few insults and statements and walked/flied back to their nations with less then a second glance. Meanwhile, six young mares had been watching on with the rest who had come to see what the yelling was about.

As Terra walked back to ponyville he was questioned by the voice of an orange country pony. "Uhh, 'scuse me, mister Terra sir?" Terra glared down at the six ponies "yes?" he replied in his gruff voice "like to tell us wha' jus happened?" asked the enquiring mare "nothing of your concern." he said. He than glared at the four unicorn and pegasi that stood with the earth ponies and, after an angry snort, continued to march towards the town with a few ponies looking on in confusion.

Meanwhile, an angered pegasus was arriving at Cloudsdale. Shortly after arrival he was faced by an upside-down cross-eyed grey pony. "Oh, its YOU again" Derpy flew around Cyclona in her usual gleeful mood "Hey Cycona" exclaimed the mare, slightly louder than needed "ITS CYCLONA!" snapped the still angered pegasus pony, he was clearly in no mood to talk to anyone, ESPECIALLY Derpy "right, Cyclona, so I was thinking, with the-" Derpy was cut off by a large hoof pushing her aside "just leave me alone would you? make yourself useful and go do... whatever it is you do" said the pegasus which was now walking off into the distance. "but..but..." Derpy simply gave a depressed sigh and wandered away muttering to herself, ponies watching on in pity for the poor mare.

Finally, the third leader arrived at Canterlot and slumped in her house. about a minute later, there was a knock on the door and it was opened to greet a young unicorn mare "hey Arcana!" she said excitedly "oh, hello." said Arcana in a tone that could only show sadness. "Is something wrong?" enquired the young blue unicorn, she always looked up to Arcana, and why wouldn't she! Arcana was a very powerful magician. "oh, its nothing. Its just that.. I had a little confrontation with the other to leaders. The three of us had history you see and now i'm just hoping that they don't do anything drastic!" The blue unicorn watched in concern and eventually forced herself to leave her to get calmed down, after a few quick goodbyes of course.

Arcana was right to be worried, she knew the two stallions well, and knew well enough that they could easily get into a fight,only this time they have entire nations following behind them. Arcana simply lay and relaxed her mind, slowly drifting into sleep. Meanwhile, Cyclona prepared himself to settle his scores with the fellow stallion, Terra. Cyclona's rage had reached its limits and he wished for nothing more but to teach that idiot a lesson in hoof-to-hoof combat!

It was on the next day that the angry pegasus seeked out his revenge on the annoying earth pony. As the earth pony turned a corner onto an isolated area behind a house the pegasus struck, diving down from above and smashing into the earth pony with immense velocity. No sooner had the pegasus struck than the two were in a mess of flailing hoofs, striking each other wherever they could get a hit in. Cyclona was no match for Terra on terms of sheer strength but his undying rage urged him on. The fight raged on, as the more welts and wounds the two obtained from one another the more the two's energy drained away until they finally barely had the strength to stand up, let alone throw a punch. They both collapsed ont the ground gasping for breath "This.. isn't... over" sighed the pegasus through each breath "I...agree!" replied the earth pony (barely). With a few flaps of his wings, Cyclona (with much struggle) pulled himself off the ground and into the air, back to Cloudsdale to heal his wounds. The earth pony also returned to his home to recover from the painful battle.

Over time the conflict grew and soon a grudge between the two nations was beginning to form, one that Arcana couldn't let take hold. Once again the two stallions came to confront each other, small groups of earth ponies and pegasi behind them, but this time as they stared each other down another group emerged, one of unicorns. She trotted up to the other two in an attempt to stop them, but was simply greeted with another "Stop sticking your nose in other ponies business!" and with this, the unicorns were on there way to joining the conflict.
