Not that kind of flower silly!
Load Full StoryThe sky was clear, the milky blue blanket was decorated with calming puffs of cotton, happily floating around in the sly without a care in the world. A Faint ringing sound reverberated through the bakery, the sound was that of a small bell. A light orange stallion poked his large head through the doors of sugarcube corner. His mouth held several brightly coloured flowers. He looked expectantly at the candyfloss mare before him. "Not that kind of flour silly!" the a friendly pink mare chimed as she quite literally bounced out from behind a smooth shop counter. "This kind!" she then quickly stuck her head inside a open larder, after some odd noises and a couple crashes the pony returned with a bag of flour balanced carefully upon her candyfloss styled hair.
Tip hoofing to the counter before dropping the sack. The drop caused a large puff of white cloud to shoot up and cover pinkies face, the little pink snout wrinkled up as a sneeze crept up her nose.
At this scene Another pony watched on amusement filling soft eyes at the playfull antics, although these antics could be considered childish to others but to these eyes of a vibrant turquoise these acts were perfect. With a sheepish chuckle the unicorn stallion took a couple steps forward. Still carrying the brightly coloured flowers in his Maw, brushing past pinkie. "Gimmie them here! I'll put em In some water!" with that the pink pony reached out with her head, going to grab the flower stems with her teeth. He watched her draw near, those big blue eyes looking into his with such excitement and fun. His strong orange chest rose with a deep breath so close he could feel the warmth of her breath, the tickle as it rushed along his snout. The feel of her Maw gliding past his, the fur touching. Sending warm waves to wash his brain.
She smelt of candy, sweeties, sugar, cakes she smelt divine. She grabbed the stems from him, pulling them free from his mouth, he stood rooted, akward and warm.
She spared him a giggle before plopping the flowers in a pretty but mis-shapen vase. "made this when I was just a filly. After discovering parties I made this...do you like it?" she asked. Turning her head quickly to look at him. Thank Luna for fur otherwise pinkie would have been able to see the large, hazy blush that was currently upon his face. "I..uh yeah. It's really nice pinks" he answered. Smiling at the mare, who had bounced off back to her mixing bowl. He followed her.
"okay...do we have our sugar?" she asked. Looking at her list of ingredients for the sweet things they were making together. After glancing round and seeing no result the stallion shook his head. And was shocked when a large smile filled her pink face. "it's behind you silly!" she chimed. And with a simple sideways glance she was proven right, it indeed was. "Reading these ingredients are boring...let's get right to making and baking!!" and grabbed two cups of level plain flour. "hmmm....be very quiet...very very very very very very very very very very very quiet" at each quiet the stallion nodded. Wide eyes, waiting for something bad to happen. Pinkie took a deep breath, pink chest heaving slightly adGently tipping
