I'm still surprised how i was accepted here but hey, my dreams as a scientist had come true thanks to you, humans. Equestria is still being rebuilt years after those... Ferals ravaged our country. Most of the north has been cleared of them while the army are busy clearing the south, the princesses had since moved back to the city of Canterlot. We ponies have a big debt to pay for the human race, they did everything just to help us stand up and take our country back from those Ferals. I'm not the only equine here who works in the CDC, there's Smarty Hooves, a unicorn like me, and then there's this bat pony, Brain Fangs, i was surprised there's a bat pony working as a scientist, you have only 1 percent chance to spot them since those Ferals got the most of them (sigh) poor them. There was Neuro, unfortunately, i didn't get to meet her since she was kidnapped by some evil organization along with the cure for the Necrouine Virus, which is the pathogen responsible for turning both equines and humans into mindless Ferals. She was confirmed dead years ago when the ship is in sunk due to some unknown reasons, i tried to make Carl spill the secret but the guy has a stubborn head way hard than Miss Applejack. Chemist Lover too, she's a pegasus and she lives by her name, I guess scientist also need some chemistry nerds. I need to go now, Dr. Morgan is calling me for something. Bye, bye. I woke up very early today. I got some weird nightmare which made shiver to my spine every time I tried to think about it. Strange, there was a heavy traffic when i took a taxi to the main road, i guess it's unpredictable whether the traffic is slow or not. I attended some kind of research about a newly discovered pathogen found in Serbia, it was very intriguing how it managed to survive for a million years until now, atleast it doesn't have any affect on humans and Equestrians. Did i also mention that they allowed us to have a coffee break after that? I'm glad they do. I also found out Chemist lives in the same city as I am. Lee Daniels, one of the scientist was absent today, I wonder why? Something weird is going on today, sudden increase of mortality rate, especially to Equestrians have suddenly increased. This is highly concerning, it's not normal for someone or somepony to suddenly drop dead. Lee was admitted to a hospital somewhere here in Atlanta. Charles believe this sudden increase of mortality rate is due to some kind of bioterrorism. I have doubts for that. Fangs has become a little skittish too like Charles. He was trying to convince me, Smarty, and Chemist the Necrouine Virus has become more powerful is most likely infected more individuals. She may have convinced Smarty but not me and Chemist. I don't believe to such claims and theories. Call me skittish too but i think something is definitely going on. The death rates all around the world has increased and the World Health Organization (WHO) is about to declare there's a pandemic. The CDC had become more busy and we aren't allowed to even have a coffee break, the deaths had already reached thousands, most of them Equestrians. I hope my family are okay. Fangs is even more paranoid than the previous day. He's asking me, Smarty, and Chemist if we have a underground shelter under our house. I do have one under my house but no way I'm going to hide just because of some global outbreak. Charles is absent and the 12 other scientists, i hope they are alright. I'm so upset I couldn't watch the Wonderbolts from the television. Today, me and my family bought some face masks. The Who has confirmed there was an unknown virus spreading across the world and has already infected millions and has killed ten thousands, Macon reported hundreds of cases and deaths and the hospitals are already flooded with more and more patients, curfew had been placed in the areas where most of the cases came from, it's surprising there are no riots have occurred. There are police and paramedics everywhere, they only let me go to the CDC cause i'm needed for the research for this new unknown pathogen. It's not a surprise Fang is not at the CDC, that coward must had probably hide inside she househouse, what kind of scientist is she? I'm still glad Smarty and Chemist are still here. There was a meeting for the outbreak, the lead scientist asked us for some suggestions, it told him that we should study this pathogen further and make sure that every human, equine, and creature that they stay in their homes, and give shelter for the homeless. Everyone agreed for the homeless part but not all agreed about the quarantine. Their are some scientists, including Smarty who gave their own opinions and suggestions for the meeting. Me, Smarty, and Chemist secretly discussed about the virus in some kind of storage room, Smarty believed that this pathogen is the Necrouine Virus but unlike Fangs, he decided to stay to further study and find out, I can tell he's very interested and intrigued. Chemist, on the other hoof, was talking about getting the 'unknown' virus, fearing she already had it since she came across a man in a supermarket who coughed. I decided to stay quiet since I have nothing to say, all i could say is good luck. I'm still at the CDC, they didn't allow us to leave since violence had suddenly increased during the night, i hope my family are safe, I couldn't stop worrying about them. Some food chain restaurant gave us a bunch of food in boxes but most of them are for the humans, only a few of those boxes contained vegetables. I haven't heard any news from the outside world but I could see that the military are just outside the building, I heard some gunshots and shouts of soldiers. Fangs is still absent, more scientists are absent as well, they probably went to their families, Smarty has one father while Chemist had none, her whole family is back at Equestria in the city of Vanhoover. I began to secretly sent message to Princess Celestia since I knew what's her Facebook profile is, she told me to calm down and that there's nothing to worry about. I hope she's saying the truth, royalties often made lies to calm their subjects. I only told Chemist and Smarty about this. Max suddenly collapsed. The other scientists hope he just fainted but Morgan felt no pulse from his chest. He was dead, and the virus is with us. Shouts of 'Don't touch him!' and 'stay away from the body' can be heard in the crowd gathered around his body, Chemist silently mourned for him. I swear while he was taken by the parademics, I saw his eyes glowed orange. We slept in the CDC again, what do you expect? We haven't heard any news other than guns being fired at something i don't see, all i could see through the glass windows of the CDC are military soldiers, marines, some police, tanks, helicopters, and some vehicles. I asked one of the soldiers what's going on but he said information is classified, i'm a scientist not some civilian, I deserve to know what's going on, i don't even know how my family are doing! Chemist didn't look very well, she looks very sad, i don't blame her, the pandemic has hit her heart to the core after seeing Max die, Smarty is trying comfort her. I've got to get a new face mask since i filled my previous one with saliva. Don't blame me, i can't breathe. Some scientists got sick today and are taken outside the CDC for some reasons that are also classified. I swear if this goes on for too long, I'll report the soldiers for classifying informations at us. I went back to chat with Celestia in my phone, I asked her what's going on... I shouldn't have asked those question, Fangs was right the whole time, the Necrouine virus is responsible for the world wide pandemic and to make matters worse, it was modified by Moonlight's said cure engineered by the evil organization that captured her. Shit... I've also given some informations by Princess Celestia that every immunes are at high risk since the virus is much more stronger now. I'm an immune too. I can tell you why. During the outbreak that destroyed Equestria, i was bitten by those Ferals while me and my friends are going out of Ponyville, it was a nasty bite to one of my forelegs and i can still remember the excruciating pain i felt and the ruptured veins that popped out of my skin Double shit... And if the scientists found out i'm 'immune' (sigh) then triple shit, i'm in danger. I don't know if Smarty and Chemist are immune, I hope they're not. I also found out the soldiers are actually shooting Ferals and 'infected' civilians outside, thanks to Private Limrod who is kind enough to secretly tell me about the classified information, some changeling even got shotshot, Limrod said the changeling said he was being chased by a bunch of infected before getting shot to the head. I only told Smarty about this, Chemist is too fragile to know. I was forced to tell Dexter and El about this too, they're very desperate to get out of the CDC to visit their families, Salvador too since he's the one who knows where the fire exit is located. But i will not stop working as a scientist, I have given requests to the head scientist to get a living infected for my study and analyzing of the Necrouine virus, if it's true that it was modified, I have a new designation for it: QE-83. Good news, the head scientist agreed to my plan, in fact most of the staff agreed except for a due to health risk and exposure to the virus so everyone who will be joining my studying will have to wear gloves, N95 respirators and hazmat suits. Well, I got unexpected results. My test subject, a female human, whom I designated QE-83-1 has threatening orange glowing eyes, this must be magic. The virus has high resistance against any types of medicine and even have blood type O are not safe, the test subject is acting like a rabid dog which I do not expect since those infected with the Necrouine acts are slow and acts like drunkards unlike this one who tries to claw at me and roar at me like a mad dog. Smarty also anticipated in my studying of the test subject. He got some infected blood out of the test subject to analyze it, it didn't took several minutes before he got the results: the blood is very infectious but he refused to throw it away, he believes there are chances that we could create a possible vaccine. Did I mention that the test subject also had bite marks on her and neck and her leg? We are forced to shoot her since we don't have any straitjackets in the CDC. Some scientists began to loose hope, some have already shoot themselves and we are forced to store them in the storage room. (Screams can be heard in the background. Moonlight Spell is very agitated which could explain why the screen is shaky. Behind her, three humans, and two equines, one pegasus, and one a unicorn can be seen leaning against a door while something pounds the door from the other side) This is so bad, the military had been overrun by millions of Ferals outside the building and some of them managed to get inside, i can hear screams of everyone, I'm at my room and behind me are Smarty, Chemist, Alan, Dexter, and El, i don't what happened to the head scientist, Salvador, and the others but i knew they are in grave danger! (The man in white lab coat with messy jet black hair glances at Moonlight) Man1: Moonlight, stop making that bullshit video, come and help us! Smarty: Consarn' it, Alan, you're gonna attract more of them! Man2: Alan, Smarty, don't be distracted, we didn't even lock the door yet, let Moonlight do her thing man Alan: Bullshit! You're useless bitch! Man3: Alan, shut the fuck up! (Moonlight turns around and yells at them) Moonlight: Can all of you just shut up!? (Moonlight turns around to look at the screen) I'm very sorry, I have to cut this video short... T-Things are getting more bad so quickly! (Just as the recording ends, the door opens and the group of humans and ponies backs away. Chemist can be heard screaming)
