Spike didn't sleep that night, no thanks to the memories of what just happened a few hours ago

It was all so recent, the flashbacks came out in his mind that made him desolate

Spike had lost track of time since he returned mysteriously to his bed, it must be 2:00 in the morning

Twilight would probably be asleep by now, and he won't feel comfortable in tell what happened to Nopony

All he could do now was shrink his knees near his body to hug them and start crying

Meanwhile, Starlight Glimmer was walking around the castle after another night of frustrated sleep by insomnia

"Damn, it's the fifth night that I can't sleep, maybe if I learned that Twilight sleep spell."

She muttered herself as she walked through the halls and doors of the castle

She passes by Spike's room, but to notice some hiccups coming from inside the room

The door was half open, and it allowed your room entrance without being noticed

She pushes the door carefully with the front hoove,and she comes across with Spike crying hugging herself

Spike's vision was covered by his knees, which didn't possibilite the vision of Starlight's entering in the room

"-Spike?"

Spike was get scared with Starlight's sudden presence

The dragon just watches the mare in front of him without saying a word

"-Is everything okay?"

She kept going

Spike didn't answer anything and just went back to hugging his knees

The mare without knowing what to say or do decided to approach,with the eyes of the dragon following all his movements

Starlight sat on the edge of the bed, staying near of Spike

the young dragon just backed off in the bed trying to avoid contact with the mare

"Well, I don't know what happened but.....do you want a hug?"

The mare opens his arms inviting him to a hug

"P... please leave me alone"

Spike finally responds, his voice was weak and with a depressing tone

"- okay…"

Starlight responds a little awkward

She gets up from Spike's bed and she goes to the door until she stops and looks at Spike again

"-If you need something you know where to find me"

Spike just looks at her for an answer

The next morning

Starlight and Twilight were in the kitchen of the castle

Starlight was making your coffee with a sleepy look, and Twilight was eating his cereal while he read a book at the same time

Starlight finishes preparing his meal and joins the table with Twilight

She looks at her friend who seemed to be hypnotized by the book

"-Aan… Twilight"

She's trying to get your attention

"-Yes?"

The alicorn responds without getting your attention out of the book

"-Have you noticed anything different about Spike lately?"

"-Nop, why?"

"-Well,yesterday I walked into his room and... he was crying"

After hearing this, Twilight stops reading his book to face Starlight with a severe look

"-Wait, how?"

"-Yeah, he was crying, it seems something terrible has happened to him"

Twilight looks at the worried and thoughtful ground

Until both of them hear footsteps approaching the kitchen

And it was coincidentally the young dragon appeared at the entrance of the kitchen
