After the events of The Ending of the End and before The Last Problem, Twilight is about to be crowned the new princess of Equestria within less than a few weeks and she and her friends are looking forward to both a big coronation and a new era of peace, prosperity, and friendship. But when a whole new threat comes after them, the Mane Six and their friends will have to face their latest challenge yet.
