5 years have passed since Delta's confrontation with Twilight Sparkle. Ever since Delta has allowed the sins of his past to dissolve, he's not only made a new life for himself, but with Blaze Dawn as well. Together, they've reformed the bridge of trust and became lovers, having two foals of their own and resigning to the Silver Shoals till old age took them away. However, word gets to them from Onyx that their old enemies from their days of youth now target Twilight Sparkle, intending on stabbing her in the back and taking the authority of a Princess for themselves. Still distasteful towards Twilight, Delta knows the consequence of turning away now, especially with how dangerous Dark Khan and Liver Gaze are.
