During their second to last year of high school, the Mane 7 became separated due to loss of communication. Each of them having to face maturity, develop relationships, and figuring out what to do after high school. They are now facing rigorous struggles in high school, however, Sunset Shimmer has been worried of her friends in Equestria. Princess Twilight Sparkle had stopped responding, and that made her worry. Twilight Sparkle steps in to help, along with everyone else trying to help in the matter. After Princess Twilight Sparkle appears, Sunset becomes close with her, causing Twilight Sparkle to become jealous of her. Twilight still was curious of the other side of the world, after failing to confess, she goes to Equestria herself to trade places with Princess Twilight. It all goes down hill afterwards.
