Glinting Spear, fresh out of guard school, is assigned to the village of Sandville. It's as in the middle of nowhere as possible, and she expects a boring 6 months of sitting and staring at the desert. She certainly didn't expect to have to foil a decades old plot by seemingly a new breed of Changeling, she's in for one heck of a ride.
