Dear Diary,

I've heard of this thing called 'lucid dream' in school. Cheerilee says that in lucid dreams, we can do whatever we want. However, not everypony has the ability to lucid dream, she says. After hearing her say that, I realised that I could fly in lucid dreams! Maybe I could even get a lucid dream flying cutie mark! Wait, I already have one. Guess I'm too used to saying that.

Problem is, I still don't know how to lucid dream. Maybe, I'll ask Rainbow Dash, she'll know.

Dear Diary,

Rainbow Dash says that to lucid dream, I'll have to stay still in bed and not move a muscle, as simple as that. Then Twilight came and say something about rapid eye movements, mnemonic Induction to lucid dreaming and sleep paralysis. They sound confusing. Does lucid dreaming involve being paralysed? What does mnemonic induction mean even? I guess I'll just do Rainbow Dash's method first, and if it doesn't work out, I'll ask Twilight to teach me how to do it.

Dear Diary,

I didn't lucid dream last night, which was kinda disappointing. But there's still Twilight, I had went over to her castle just now and she gave me a lecture on lucid dreams. I think I understand what she said.

Also, Diamond Tiara said at school that lucid dreaming is super easy, and that only brainless ponies could not lucid dream because they have no brains to even dream. I'm pretty sure I have a brain, do I? The whole class said that they could lucid dream, even Apple Bloom and Sweetie Bell said that they had lucid dream at least once before.

But don't worry, I have faith in Twilight. I'm sure that her method for lucid dreaming will work, 100%.

Dear Diary,

I did it! It was the best night of my night, I get to fly in the lucid dream! I was so excited, I was flying in the sky and suddenly Rainbow Dash appeared beside me, it was so cool! But then I woke up. Twilight said that if I get too excited while lucid dreaming, I might wake up. Guess I fell for that trap, huh.

Looking at the bright side, I know how to lucid dream now! I'm sure that I can do it again tonight. Can't wait to fly with Rainbow Dash again.

At school today, I told everypony that I lucid dreamed last night, but Diamond Tiara somehow convinced everypony except for Apple Bloom and Sweetie Bell that I was lying and just pretending that I have a brain. I was furious! Sweetie had to pull me away from Diamond Tiara. I'm surprised Sweetie's magic got that powerful, it used to not be able to withstand me.

I guess I would have to ignore Diamond Tiara's comments from now on. After all, I could beat her up in a lucid dream if I want to.

Dear Diary,

Yes, I lucid dreamed again! I flew with Rainbow Dash again, and I found Diamond Tiara and gave her a good slap. I kinda liked the feeling of slapping her, but at the same time it feels wrong. I promised myself to not harm anypony in dreams anymore.

At school, Diamond Tiara complained to Cheerilee that she suddenly felt pain on her cheeks, as if somepony had slapped her. Cheerilee checked if there's any blood, luckily there's none. That's weird, because I saw nopony hitting Diamond Tiara at school today. Neither did Apple Bloom and Sweetie Bell. Well, Diamond Tiara might just be lying just to get ponies' attention. After all, she's always an attention hogger.

Today, Babs Seed visited us! We went to Sugarcube Corner and chatted about our lifes. I told her that I learnt how to lucid dream, and she was impressed! She wanted to learn how to do it too, so we asked Twilight to teach Babs. She was delighted to give another lecture.

I'm gonna lucid dream again tonight, it's so fun!

Dear Diary,

The weirdest thing happened today. Diamond Tiara didn't come to school, she called in and said that she had broken her hoof. That alone isn't weird, but last night while lucid dreaming, I had accidentaly fell out from the sky while flying and landed on Diamond Tiara. Could it be that whatever happened in lucid dreams happens in real life too? I asked Rainbow Dash and she said of course not. Then I asked Twilight and she also said no, but kind of possible because nopony had bothered to research that yet.

Babs Seed told us that she failed to lucid dream last night. I recommended her to keep a diary like me or keep a dream journal, Twilight said it will help in lucid dreaming. We went to the bookshop and Babs Seed bought a fancy looking notebook. She said she will keep a dream journal from today onwards.

Dear Diary,

I'm freaking out now. In the dream, I saw Babs Seed and Diamond Tiara. Babs was punching Diamond Tiara over and over until she was bleeding all over her body. Then, at school, Cheerilee told us that Diamond Tiara was sent to the Ponyville Hospital! Filthy Rich had returned home late last night and checked in on Diamond Tiara and found her crying out in her sleep, cowering and bleeding!

I asked Babs Seed whether she had successfully lucid dreamed last night and she said no. Sweetie reassured her that lucid dreaming isn't for everypony, and some just could not do it as Babs was quite upset over her inability to lucid dream. However, I was suspicious of Babs. If whatever heppened in my lucid dream is real, and I saw Babs beating Diamond up, that might be real. I gotta keep a close eye on her.

I don't think lucid dreaming I as worth it as I thought it was. As much as I wanted to fly, I just could not bear to hurt anypony. What if i accidentaly kill somepony? I won't lucid dream anymore. Heh, this sounds like a friendship lesson.

Dear Diary,

I had a nightmare last night. It was super terrifying! In my nightmare, Babs was chasing me with knives, her mouth dripping with blood from who knows what. I tried to fly but I could not. Then, I tripped on a rock and fell down, crashing my face against the ground. Babs caught up to me and snarled, blood from her mouth dripping on my body and her eyes glowing red. As she lunged, I woke up, sweating all over and panting.

I don't think that dream was real. It's only lucid dreams that were real, right?

Today, Apple Bloom was absent at school. Applejack came and told Cheerilee that she was found covered in blood this morning, and had to be sent to the hospital. I was creeped out by that! Did Apple Bloom lucid dreamed and got attacked by Babs Seed? Why would she attack her own cousin?

Babs and Sweetie hanged out with me this afternoon. Sweetie asked me if I was all right, she said my face was white as a sheet. I told her that her face was whiter and laughed it off. I just could not help but see that Babs was glaring at Sweetie while she was talking to me.

Is it Babs that is behind all of the dream attacks? If it is, I think Sweetie will be next. What do I do? I can't just tell everypony that, they won't believe me. They'll think I'm crazy, and sent me to hospital or something. I gotta stop Babs by myself, but how?

I'm still not gonna lucid dream, it's too dangerous.

Dear Diary,

THERE WAS BLOOD ON MY BLANKET! BLOOD! I searched all over my body to find any wound, but I found none. I also had another nightmare. It's Babs again, this time I dreamt of myself sleeping (weird), and she just appeared from under the bed! I could see her rising up from beneath and I tried to move, but I just could not. Sleep paralysis, I think. Then she raised her knife that she had been clutching in her hoof, and plunged it down. I cried out loud, and woke up.

I'm fully sure that it is Babs attacking us now. Before she was taught to lucid dream, there had been no attacks. And today Sweetie wasn't at school, just as I have predicted. I-what should I do? I overheard Cheerilee while speaking to Rarity that a knife was found in Sweetie's bed. Knife. Babs has a knife in my dreams.

Today was Babs' last day here in Ponyville. I got to stop her. I asked her again whether she had lucid dreamed, but she said no again. We then wondered what happened to Apple Bloom and Sweetie Bell. We then tried to visit them in the hospital, but the nurses said no.

What should I do? I'm terrified, I think that I will be attacked tonight. I...Should I lucid dream to stop Babs? But what if it isn't her?

Still, I got to try. But if I get attacked tonight, this would be my last diary entry. Maybe if the police come to investigate they would read this and get Babs.

So, if I got attacked, bye then..?
