//-------------------------------------------------------// Day in the Life -by B_25- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Rebuild and Reproduce //-------------------------------------------------------// Rebuild and Reproduce Day in the Life B_25 & Ploish It'd been four months into the ERP that we find our characters again, the duo-headed being of a merged Cadance and Chrysalis, a world beyond the Empire, consumed, a never-ending blizzard taking everything—and an underground storage locker filled with frozen, slumbering ponies. Currently. It was Hearts and Hooves Day. And that meant everything was not okay. The three colonists—plus Twilight Sparkle—had come and sat together in the banquet hall. Cadance sat around family and lover and was, quite literally, joined at the hip with the former foe that was Queen Chrysalis. Even still. She felt alone. Because the day was Heart and Hooves Day. Not much romance to a day like today. Cadance's forlorn muzzle turned to gaze out the window, to the distant, glittering dome of light blue, the crystal shield helping to protect them from the outside world. One frozen over and ruled by windigoes. This used to be a day Shining and I would spend the whole day, together, doing whatever we wanted, cuddling as much as we liked, seeing none else no matter the reason. Her muzzle dipped back to the table as the clatter of plates echoed throughout the room. Breakfast was being prepared for the joined lot. But there's nothing we can do alone, together, anymore. Not when I'm joined with her and there aren't many places or things, romantically so, for us to do. The clatter of a plate danced in her ears before her. Cadance gazed down at her meal only to narrow her eyes in so doing. What stood on the plate was an extremely suggestive looking mushroom, thick and towering, looking nearly ready to throb, two balls placed next to it. In front was a small dish of dijon mustard dipping sauce. A deadpanned Cadance stared over at Twilight hologram with an arched eyebrow. Really? Twilight scrunched her muzzle and crossed her forelegs. “Please. I don't choose how your meals turn out. Simply what you eat, how much you eat, and when you eat it. How the dishes come out from the seed bank and are then prepared is beyond me.” “So the appearance of these meals is merely coincidental?” “Unless you think me to be lying, then yes, probability dictates that to be the case.” “And just what is the process for selecting and processing our food then?” “I'm so glad you asked!” It wasn't often Cadance swore, even internally, but this was one of those times when fuck breached the top of her mind. Twilight closed her eyes and opened her mouth, inhaling gales to fuel her rambles, entering yet another explanation for why things were the way they were. While this was happening, however, the princess quickly dipped out from hearing. This skill came from living with her husband who, while she didn't' actively ignore... she did sleep with. And his snore had been compared to a chainsaw. Cadance had even revved a chainsaw next to him in his sleep to prove two theories. One was that Shiny's snores were louder than a chainsaw. (How she procured it was a different matter.) Two that Shiny could sleep through a chainsaw being revved next to his ears. (In a horror movie, he'd be the first to die, without a doubt, in a close-up of him sleeping... and the stalker standing behind him. It'd make for great suspense but horrible surface logic after the scene was complete.) Cadance pressed an elbow onto the table and leaned a cheek onto the hoof, deciding to look across the table, tilting her head, expression lazy, seeing if there was anything interesting to take in. Chrysalis was next to her with a look equally as bored. No plate before her. Changelings would still be changelings even in being combined with another. Her food was the love between Cadance and Shining, snacked one, keeping her lithe and fit—all things considering. But even Chrysalis couldn't keep with the boredom as her eyes rolled over to Twilight Sparkle. Lazy and arrogant and a subtle glowing of green to them. The queen spoke in the break during Twilight's speech, one talking of where certain seeds had been taken, coming to note the exact areas she'd seen herself. Twilight nodded enthusiastically in the duo, at different times, exploring the same areas to similar findings. Deviations came in their interpretations, and thus, their perspectives being different on matters. Light debates followed. It was like an older sister, cynical by years of experience but still caring, fighting with her younger and optimistic sibling, just entering the path taken years ago—trying to warn her of all the disappointments to come. And the younger sister simply ceasing to believe that could ever be the case for herself. Cadance noted that, despite the months of isolation, her joined partner, Chrysalis, had come out of it alright. Her longer life and greater experience and more forcefulness of command caused her to be the center of attention. Now that her greater ambitions had cooled down, her personality had mellowed and, because of that, she exhibited a relaxed self-assurance that was attractive to those nearby. She was disinterested in life and subjects, and yet, was always alluring to others for them to ask her about them. In no longer caring, others cared for her, what she thought and felt, liking that cool and relaxed fashion her words and voice and opinions came in. Something Cadance lacked. Which caused her to look at the last one at the table, the one she went to in trouble or doubt, the love of her life... Shining Armor. Much like her, his breakfast had been the same, a pomegranate-like fruit—a slit slide down its center. His head tilted to the left and his eyes loosely narrowed, curious but not concerned, suspecting something... but unsure of what was playing foul. Then he shrugged and went for it. Shining had equally been as disappointed as her to have lost their intimacy. Family and foe made for a company that, without, would have caused the days to be much harder than they were now. But much the same. Shining couldn't hold her hoof and stroll through a park anymore. He couldn't jump before danger with a sword all to protect her. Unable to prove his love with acts and kisses... it caused him to wonder if it was even still there to begin with. But in the end, Shining was nothing if not dutiful. He could never refuse a mission from a superior—especially if that superior was family. And so he shrugged and picked up that fruit, diving his muzzle into it, the squish and sound and look flushing a blush across Cadance's muzzle. Warming it as a fictional wind blew back her mane. Cadance watched as her lover press his snout inches deeper into the fruit, the tautness of his tongue, slim and wide and with the precise movement of a snake, dashed up and down the slit, penetrating deeper at times, exploring the shape of the divot, enjoying the little juices brightening the tastebuds on his tongue—tension leaving his body as he immersed himself in the pleasantness of the present. Cadance, however, was taken back to the past, to their first time, her petite body laid back on the bed, hind draped over its end and spread, his muzzle brushing across her inner thigh, a touch, flick, against her slit. It'd been burning and his tongue had been the right amount of coolness. Lick after lick, consuming her essence, nothing minding once her thick thighs collapsed and locked around the sides of his head. Yeah, Shiny, right there. Cadance's expression had entered into deeper confidence as she watched her boy-toy go to work on the fruit. Eyes half-lidded and a tongue licking across her lips, she envisioned all the ways he could work on her, all the styles and fashions and scenarios tried in the past. However, those thoughts did not last. “Babe? You okay? Something on my face?” Cadance pulled back from her sultry appearance and her mental enjoyment to see that her lover staring right at her. Soon the two other guests were gazing at her. All confused and nearly set to ponder that fact. “Left cheek or right cheek? Snout?” Cadance composed herself as her transition between being horny and becoming composed was but a second and subtle shift in expression and sitting up. She turned her muzzle and tapped to the side of her lips. “You have a seed here, dear.” Her smile was weary as if a single seed would be enough to sell her bluff. But Shiny didn't question it further as his hoof felt around his face. In touching the seed, he swiped it, plopping it into his mouth. He threw his head back and swallowed, a dramatic unneeded, but he seemed to be in a 'just happy to be alive' kind of state. And since those states rarely came nowadays... none threw him any hate. But because Cadance had returned to the present as well, she was forced to hear the words of Twilight Sparkle again. She looked at her sister-in-law as the alicorn puffed out her chest, speaking once more from the top. “And because of the location of extraction and the means of perpetration, these meals should get you in the mood to—“ Cadance cut her off. “Twilight, I've forgotten more about aphrodisiacs than you'll ever know.” A nervous silence hung over the room as Twilight had been properly shut up on all matters considering. The mood of the room turned to the bizarre and, that, always, left the poor mare confused as to the nature of everything. She coughed and cleared her throat, attempting to speak—failing to do so. Then Chrysalis, unprompted, started to speak. “I had a strange dream last night. It was during the period of my former rule. One of my subjects managed to attain a power that allowed them to command me to do as they pleased. The order barked, however, was for me to be pleasured since my status and stature rarely allowed it. He didn't ravage me as he wished. But the intent, effort, and will made it feel all the same.” Everyone blinked at that story. Cadance only stared out the lone window of the room, monolithic and intently fortified, allowing a glimpse into the harshness of the outside world. Great and vast frozen winds tore through the world, incessantly, shouting its whispers and whimpers. Glass cracked, but foam always filled the clefts. The end of the world didn't mean things were allowed to become messy. The princess dunked the cock looking mushroom into the sauce, absentmindedly, bringing it to her lips. She continued to watch the rage of the storm. The tip of the mushroom brushed her lips, wetting them in sauce, allowing the growing thickness to easily slip into the tightness of her maw. She took most of it into her mouth, lightly bobbing it forward and back, licking around, devouring its taste. The flavour exploded on her tongue—but even that didn't take her eyes from outside. Cadance was gone from the world and left her body to act on autopilot. After getting enough of the mushroom in her maw, Cadance bit down, severing the head. Shining had been the one watching this time and the blush on his cheeks vanished and his eyes widened and his ears flattened and his heart quickened and—omigosh it seemed like he was going to have a heart attack. Twilight looked on equally as horrified but, at the same time, deeply interested. And Chrysalis gazed at her counterpart with a side-long glance and an amused smirk for all things considering. It'd been time for History Class—taking all back to the feeling of being in high school—as they were in a cold, dim room, countless desks and seats... with only two occupied. A projector hung from the ceiling and flashed on a screen at the front of a class. Twilight, for whatever reason, enjoyed beating a stick against it for the reason of intense expression of teaching. The name of today's class was Part 92 of How the World Wound Up Like This. Two desks had been pressed together so the duo-headed being could sit together before it. Both of the girls sat similarly, each leaned away from each other—as much as they could, at least—with both of their elbows resting on the wood. Each leaned a cheek into a hoof as they watched with boredom to the lecture ahead. Chrysalis yawned as she spoke up during one of Twilight's speeches. Cadance had dropped out and required a shake of the head to enter the world again. They'd been talking about yet another war that, on a device being used, cooled the overall surface of an entire nation. The changeling gave the changeling perspective and opinion on the matter, contesting what sounded wrong and agreeing with what appeared right. The queen's words were either to offer another angle or to provide critique on Twilight's knowledge and means of education. It made it hard to gauge who really was the teacher in this classroom. Meanwhile, Shining sat the furthest he could from the two. He sat on the other side of the room, the same row just the furthest seat. He wasn't asked to. His nose was to the page as he recorded every word and wrote his input on every clash between the two teachers. Maybe that's why he sat so far away. So he could focus on his notes rather than be distracted by flirting. That brought flushed warmth into Cadance's heart. Back when they were still in high school and shared a class. She teased him incessantly. Little kisses were blown and winks were seen by none else. His flustered state was always so cute. Shining was a nerd placed in the body of a jock. He'd learned to flirt back after a while. Little teases and retorts that graduated into the passing of letters through the class. It was because of this, however, that he paid less attention to the teacher and the subject. Poor were his marks on tests and homework. Cadance had been a quick study and he a long one. And since projects together saw them fooling with each other rather than working... Cadance would come out alright. The stallion, however, was verbally beaten by all for his grades. He'd cry to Cadance, and she'd console him. Then sex would happen and his marks hampered again. Now Shining seemed ready to correct past mistakes. As if their marks on Twilight's little quizzes actually mattered. Cadance fell into a stupor from the following above and couldn't help but break out suddenly with the wordage. 'So everything we worked for was meaningless in the end.” Silence consumed the room as all looked to her again. Cadance didn't care for the stares as the mood of the day had already dismayed her. The most romantic day of all. The one she met her love and the day their love allowed their filly to be conceived... now to be locked in a cool, dim, steel room with a faint projector and shabby lectures never heard and quickly forgotten. “Nothing in the world is supposed to last. I-I guess... it's one of the sadder realities of life.” Twilight stepped out of the light of the projector and let the nothingness of darkness settle over her frame. “But all the work was to make the present and the future a better place. It was to ensure the efforts of the past weren't in vain. The future eventually becomes present. Those rewards you worked for eventually did come.” Twilight shook her head and entered the light again. “But this might not be the proper end! So long as we live and we try to do better—learning the mistakes of history to ensure successes in the present—will allow for a better future once more! This can either be the end or a regular set back in history.” Twilight dipped her head. “What we decide to do... will decide if everything was nothing.” The hologram then cleared her voice, turned around, and resumed her lecture. Attention returned to her as Shining went to notes and Chrysalis went to correct and critique as she pleased. All of this left Cadance alone with herself once more. With nothing left to call upon, she kept silent, staring down at her notebook. Blank pages recording absolutely nothing. Lunch was the same as breakfast and today was the same as yesterday. Cadance and Chrysalis hovered above the ground, the difference of their wings and their span, type and length, creating difficulties in flying together. Learning how to simply hover was their starting point in figuring out how to fly together. But it came in time, after months when they could fly in harmony. Both of them touched down on the steel between the benches raising as it went up in levels. Both of them sat on the wood as it creaked beneath their joined mass. Cadance had only been lightly fat in the places it mattered most. To have the gained mass of two ponies caused more unpleasant feelings. In the open field before them—simulated via projectors—was the flying body of her husband. Shining flew circles of the track, beating harder and faster on aching and dying wings, his face scrunched and eyes closed, a wish for it all to be over already. Rainbow Dash's hologram stood in the middle of the track as she slowly spun to the turns of the flying stallion. She was barking orders at him. Critiquing his turns and attacking when the flap of his wings wasn't harmonious. She was on him for every little detail. Cadance wondered if Rainbow was being too harsh but, considering her bad mood and her husband being distant... stepping in to do anything was beyond her. At least she thought about it. So that still made her a decent wife. The day was grey and her mind was only faintly alive. What had the poor mare down was the feeling of being unable to do anything about anything. “Is this the great strategy of a pegasus? To berate moral and improvement into a stallion?” Chrysalis had suddenly stood up and Cadance was whisked the same. The latter allowed herself to go limp as contesting this was beyond her. She simply watched and listened without much interest. “Your actions are only for your satisfaction. Failure to obtain your objective causes one to wonder what yours was to begin with.” “Hey! Let the ponies help the ponies!” Rainbow Dash didn't back down as the two-headed beast walked down from the benches. She strolled up to them as neither side back down. Both of their chests came crashing. Rainbow's expression was hot; Chrysalis' expression was cold. “Just what do you think you'd do differently anyway, huh?” “Work from my understanding of the subject and find the best way to understand both the goal and the means of getting there. It's that sense of connection that allowed for the best communication. It doesn't matter if you're right if none desire to even agree with you.” Chrysalis took a stand at the center of the grass and caught the white stallion flying through the air. “Besides.” A smirk licked at her lips. “I know exactly how to motivate a stallion to pant and struggle.” Rainbow and Chrysalis continued to argue. All while Cadance passively watched her husband circle the track over and over. Twilight stood before a large square like a slab of steel acting as the table of operations for the ones currently amassed. Sheets of metal pulled back to reveal the dive of green starting to glow. Projections glowed and crashed in the air. What it composed was the form of a Crystal Heart. “Here are my plans to reconstruct the Crystal Heart and the ethereal properties it once possessed.” Twilight lowered her head as she stepped away from the display; a flicker buzzed through her hologram. “But my understanding of its components... is limited to say the least.” Her muzzle flicked to Cadance's half of the beast. “So I was hoping you could offer any insights you had on the object as a whole. Or little details. Anything. We're kind of desperate for information on it... and you're the closet being to have existed with it.” Cadance, however, was looking away. Once more her attention was to the storm, outside, the one always raging on. Words pulled her not and there wasn't a sound that could break her depressive trance. Rather she kept in that other-worldly state that was but a mere step from death. One always pondering it. “Maybe it's best we leave her alone for today.” Shining stepped in and attempted to lay a foreleg on his sister's shoulders. Instead it fell through and so too did the rest of his body. He rolled into a jump and was back on his hooves, deadly still as if it would allow the past few seconds to have never existed. “She's been having a rough go of it. Best we let her have some time to herself.” Twilight opened her mouth, though it was not followed by words, a mere swallow ending the action. After a second and breath, she tried again, returning to another speech prepared to get everyone onto the same page again. “Okay then. In that case, I'm... I'm not sure how much everyone as put together. But the old Crystal Heard isn't around anymore. I mean. It is and isn't at the same time.” Cadance's ear flicked without the rest of her head moving. “The original Crystal Heart was completely drained of its magic to create the barrier that now protects the castle.” Twilight shook her head and closed her eyes. “Were it not for that... then none of us would be here. The ending outside would have crept in as well. Hence why everything is owed to that sacrifice.” Cadance's muzzle rose and, without words, she started to turn. Chrysalis blinked as the other half of her body started to turn. She didn't try to fight it, going with it but, all the same, gazing back at the two with confusion. Before she knew it, they were before the door. It slid out of the way and they walked through it. Entering the empty hall where everything would be peaceful. “Hey! Hey! You can stop pulling now!” Chrysalis finally shoved a hoof against the floor to stop their movements. They were decently far away from the door that none would be immediately on them if any had chosen to follow. “What's the matter anyhow? This is the first real action you've taken all day. Did breaking of the Crystal Heart do the same to yours? It's still serving its purpose of being a protective bubble.” “It's just not that! Not just that at all!” Cadance reared her head around and pointed her muzzle at her flank. “That Crystal Heart was my cutie mark! It was the last thing in this world that I'd been destined to be with. It gave me purpose and direction and those two allowed me to become the mare that you are now joined with!” Cadance then dropped her head forward as the negativity finally consumed her. “It'd been my one true calling in life. Now it's gone like everything else. What point is there now in doing anything? Everything is gone and even that which remains is just... pointless!” Chrysalis slowly shook her head. “So what? Destiny fulfilled becomes history—does it now? At the end of everything means that everything must then be rebuilt. Allow that to become your new destiny.” Her eyes slid closed. “Do you know how many crushing defeats I've had to return from? The morale in starting from embers isn't high. But you must push through because nothing else is true. It's all you can do. To give up is to cease to live. Exist, maybe, but never live.” She dipped her chin. “And I will never be the kind of changeling to simply exist.” Chrysalis then raised her head and strode forward with purpose and determination. “Come. You will see what I mean when I say all of us must rise together.” And with that, the queen was without words. The rest of the trip was slow and silent and it left the forlorn princess to assess her thoughts. The first thing Cadance noticed was how they were being led down to the banquet hall again. It'd been true on how everyone saw her sighing and moping throughout the day. They all also knew what day it was and how much it would mean to any Princess of Love. The doors opened to a flash and the exploding of confetti. “Surprise! Happy Hearts and Hooves day!” Cadance burned with life as she reentered the present again. Her eyes blinked to make sense of the setting before her. Streams and hearts and other such fashions decorated the room to match the style of how it was so many years ago. That one party where everyone was joined, happy and merry, foes now friends and those friends ever close—lovers even closer to one another. “But... how?” Cadance strode into the room but stopped in hearing the door click behind her. She turned to see Shining, dressed to be dashing, holding out a chair for her and Chrysalis to sit on. “When d-did you all have the time to prepare all of this?” “You can thank me!” Spike said with a wave of his arms. “I started putting up the decorations after breakfast!” “And I joined him during flight practice,” Twilight said with a smile. “Knew I would have a use for Rainbow Dash after all. Please forgive her for being so harsh today. She was only running decoy to buy time for me.” “Your seat, my lady.” Shining helped her onto the chair while clasping her hoof between his own. He then kneeled, gazing up at her, bowing his head only to kiss at the offered surface. “I wanted to be the one to guide you in here myself... but I suppose it's hard to keep sane on the best of days being grey, hey?” Shining looked back to her face with glimmering eyes. “And you know I would have done anything within my power to make this a day between you and I only. But... for now, at least... all of us are going to need to accept being together for the time being.” He sighed. “But still allowing one another the moments of intimacy and privacy needed to be happy.” “A girl can always pretend to be asleep, after all,” Chrysalis offered with a smile before curling a foreleg forward—around a glass of wine presented on the table. The rest gathered did the same. All were held to the glint of the light above. “Here's our toast, at the end of the world, to the beginning of the next one.” All cheered and giggled throughout the rest of the day. And the rest was history. Four centuries later. An older and wiser Cadance thought back on the day that transcribed in her head again. It brought a smile to the lips and a little to the eyes as her expression lightened despite the woes of the day. We remember the silver-lining most of all in the wake of our memories. The duo-headed mare and changeling walked toward the door of the crystal bedroom, ready for a repeat performance of that night such a long time ago. No matter how many times the three of them made love... there was something different about each session. Which kept the love between them all so very much alive. Not a thing and an act that simply existed. But a cause to live for. Cadance and Chrysalis rose on their hind legs as they towered over the boy behind him, blowing a kiss before falling back, the crash bouncing and squeaking the mattress they fell into. Each kicked aside a leg to expose the expanse of their crotch. Two mounds were swollen and of diffident textures, of different scents, of different allures to the stallion. He got the best of both worlds by having the two loves joined into one. One mound was a smooth black of a flexible shell. The other was soft, puffy and squishy, warm at the skin and sweeter on the snout. Shining was always dutiful as he didn't need to kneel to reach the present lips, starting slow with a tentative lick, causing the heat around him to arise. One broad stroke was enough to a dribble of juices to trickle from the base of the presented cunny. Not needing to bother with foreplay—he went in. Both girls arched forward and their necks did the same in the stallion slamming right in. Both muzzles and sets of eyes scrunched as they rode the stomach swirling starting of beginning pleasure the male was casting onto them. Each bucked their hips as they rode his face to the milky delight it spread over their special place. It only took a few more licks, within, to make them utterly wet. Cadance and Chrysalis were of equal mind for, as they felt the head between their legs tried to pull away, each glanced to the other, nodding, and wrapped their thighs around the sides of his head. From there, they buried him into the cliff of their crotch, rubbing it up and down, riding a few more seconds out of their toy. Before allowing him to struggle into freedom once more. “Naughty girls.” Shining stepped back from the bed as his eyes glowed a brilliant blue in the dark. Both of them, however, was also glowing. Each tapped their cheek. He did the same. Their juices marked and owned the territory. “So?” Cadance asked. “What are you going to do about it?” Chrysalis demanded. The stallion only shook his head as the two slid fully back onto the bed. He then strode toward it, his erect member slapping against his thighs, inches grew and thickness expanded as the seconds passed. Shining might have been a geek inside the body of a jock—but he also had a fat cock to go with it too. Shining clambered over the front of the bed, the wood creaking from his weight, coming over the border and landing on the softness that was the mattress. He spread his foreleg over the barrel of the girls, able to handle the added mass, coming to bring his muzzle over theirs. Both girls laid with the back of their heads resting on the fluffed pillows. Each leaned up to receive a kiss from their lover as he rested over their chest. He lowered his hips, allowing the head of his cock to search around—until finding the heated lips of their entrance. Before shoving himself inside. The first pump in was slow and controlled, bottoming in without any space to spare, stretching out the walls within. Both girls wiggled in places as their heads rocked around, handling the pressure and pleasure, waiting for it to build up. And so the stallion pulled out and slammed back in, again and again, building in a tempo and speed, rising to the slapping of his balls against the swell of his flanks. Going quicker and harder and hitting deeper and spreading them further. Both girls flicked up at his dives and clenched at his full entrance, fighting to keep his cock from leaving; how it burned so nicely on its backward slide out. All were moaning and shaking in place as the building pleasure had reached its climax. Shining arched his back as he allowed himself to blow, his cock erupting inside the cave, shooting ropes of creamy white over the walls within. The girls released at the same time as everything clenched with the height of orgasm achieved. And after a few seconds, tension faded from their bodies, everyone collapsing. Shining fell onto the barrel of his loves with his cock still nestled inside—deciding to enjoy the moment. The girls each hooked a foreleg around his body, holding and hugging him close, allowing for a sense of harmony to wash over them all. They all laid on the bed, a replica of the one that served them well, enjoying the sound of each other's panting. In the seconds that followed, however, it was Shining that broke the silence. He glanced over at the calendar on the wall only for his eyes to widened. “Um.” Shining swallowed. “Girls? I don't mean to alarm anyone but... isn't today the day when Flurry and my parents are released today?” Cadance blinked. “I thought that was next week?” “N-No.” Chrysalis cleared her throat. “I recall Twilight bumping it up. We, uh, forgot to update our calendar.” All of them stumbled out of bed, reaching the table by the wall and pulling back its drawer. Perfume and such to mask the stench of sex. Each of them brushed their manes the best they could and the same true in tidying the rest of their bodies. Feeling well enough that their cover wouldn't be blown, they dashed out the door, ready to meet a family frozen since forever ago.
