Nova Starlight is a young pegasus mare going through the best day of her life or though she thought. During her entrance ceremony into the Lunar guard a lone assassin slips in and attempts to kill the princesses, only to have his attack blocked by a guard, who dies on the spot. The assassin flees and is tracked to a place where all the evidence points to poor Nova. While in a holding cell she is visited by none other than Princess Luna is given the task to uncover the true source of the assassination plot.

After agreeing Nova finds herself banished from Canterlot and not stripped of her lunar guard regalia? What is she to do and how is she supposed to uncover this vast plot? She hires her old Skyrate friends of course! Follow this tale as it unfolds and have your questions answered. Who is behind the assassination plot, why was she blamed and why is her old captain asleep while things go to chaos!
