Pumpkin got up off the floor and floated the remote control closer, pressing a few buttons and getting the disk to start playing. The plethora of unskippable ads started up, showing upcoming movies that had been released years ago. “Thought so. We watched this with Mom and Dad, I remember that. “Yea, a lot of ponies have it worse off right now,” Pound said with a shrug. “Though, it does suck that there isn’t a Pizza Hoof around here; probably one of the main things I miss since being back home.”
“Oh? How was it going to school in Hoofington? I don’t think I’ve really gotten to ask you about it since we both got back to Ponyville.”

“They aren’t that great… but they are pretty nice,” Pumpkin said with a bit of a sheepish smile. The movie had just gotten through the ads and the main menu was on the screen. She lit up her horn and pressed the remote from afar to get it to play. “They even had that popular cheesecake chain in campus; open 24/7. I bet Mom and Dad would have killed to know a few of their recipes and put them up in the shop here.”
“Well, sounds like you were struggling,” he said, rolling his eyes.
“Yea.” She smiled a little and watched the screen extravagantly show off the studios’ logos. She let out a small sigh and took another sip. “I just kinda wish Mom and Dad were here, watching this with us like old times. Or even Pinkie too, but she’s off with Cheese during all of this. Pound just shrugged and took another sip of his already half-finished beer.

Pound shrugged again, but looked down as his drink and swirled it around in his hoof. Pumpkin nodded and stared back at the screen for a few moments. “You know, with two hyperactive party ponies like that, I wonder how over the top those two get in bed.”
Pound had a look on his face like he just ate a sour grape. “Stop this,” he said as he squinted at her and took another sip of his drink.
“Like… does she bring the cannon?”
“What?!” Pound said, choking a little after almost spitting out his drink.
“I don’t know… she brings that with her everywhere and always has it ready to go. You do have to wonder if she’d bring something crazy like that, or what she’d do with it… they are probably doing it like every day you know.”
Pound shook his head at his sister’s antics, but chuckled along at the thought. “That would be nice.”

Pound looked over at her, and realized what he meant by that, the other mean of truly switching partners. That sent a flush of crimson onto her face as she looked away, taking a long gulp of her drink and turning back to the movie.
After that comment they were quiet for a while, making a few comments here and there as they watched, even casually chatting again as the movie was nearing its end. Pound awoke in the morning with a sudden wave of confusion, looking into his sister’s eyes staring back at him. His heart was raced for a moment before his memory finally kicked in, remembering just how last night went.
As she stared at him with half-lidded eyes, he noticed the hungry look she had on her face. He could feel her stroking his leg with hers, and with the heat slowly growing again in his loins, he knew that this was going to be a crazy few weeks quarantined with his sister.

Writing the story certainly brought me back to my study days, specifically spending all night frantically trying to get this finished for Shakespearicles' April Wincest Contest after procrastinating basically right up to the due date. Hope you liked the story regardless!
