Luna sat in her room fiddling with her newest toy. Getting a computer to work at all in Equestria was a challenge but she had figured out a way to make it work. She had just finished another level in a new game, modified for ponies. A few more tweaks and two levels to go.
Luna had made her own magical display, eliminating the need for a television. Her display would even play the new 3D games and she was quite proud of her accomplishment. Though the display was a marvel of magic, she was even more proud of some of her other work, which was why she had wanted Twilight to see it.
“You may be the Element of Magic,” said Luna to herself, “but let’s see you top this!”
A knock at the door broke her concentration. Luna rose and faced the door.
“Enter,” she said simply.
The door opened and Twilight Sparkle and Cadance walked in. Luna smiled in greeting. She had expected only Twilight, but she was happy to see the Princess of Love.
“Twilight, Cadance,” said Luna, “welcome back to Canterlot. I have something to show you that I think you may like.”
“It’s lovely to see you again, Luna,” said Cadance. “What have you been up to?”
“A thing from another dimension called a ‘video game’,” replied Luna. “It has been a difficult project but I was able to make it work.”
“It will have to wait a few minutes, I’m afraid,” said Twilight. “Celestia needs you in the throne room for a little while. The representatives from the western cities have arrived and she would like you there to greet them.”
Luna let out a sigh and rolled her eyes. She hated playing the diplomat, mainly because she wasn’t very good at it. Wearing the crown before she was banished did not require much diplomacy. Those who came before her were very diplomatic because they wanted their heads to stay attached to their necks, but it wasn’t necessary for a princess to reciprocate.
“Very well,” said the moon princess, “I shall return as soon as I can. In the meantime, go ahead and try it. These are the controllers. All you need to do is insert a disc from one of these boxes and put it in here. It will tutor you at first.” She indicated the tray on the console. “Oh! One more thing; don’t play any of the combat titles.”
Luna left and Twilight and Cadance examined the console. There wasn’t much to see. It was a simple black box with a few wires that connected to a battery of crystals and what were obviously magical devices. Neither of them had any idea how it worked.
“This is fascinating,” said Twilight. “I have no idea how she did this but it is genius.”
“I don’t understand why she did it,” said Cadance. “If it was something useful, I could understand, but this is just a toy.”
“I saw something like this when I was visiting Sunset Shimmer,” said Twilight. “They’re quite popular even among adults.” She continued to examine the device.
Cadance levitated a few of the games into view. Each had a piece of tape on it with the title in Equestrian. “‘Call of Duty’, ‘Diablo’, ‘Assassins Creed’ hmm… From the pictures, these seem pretty violent. These must be the combat games Luna was talking about. Here’s one, ‘Space Babe Adventure’. This one sounds pretty safe.”
“You want to play?” asked Twilight.
“May as well,” said Cadance, with a shrug. “I have a feeling Luna may be a while. I’ve met the council pony from Las Pegasus and he loves the sound of his own voice.”
“I was going to try to figure out what she did,” said Twilight, “but I may learn just as much from playing the game. I have no idea where to even start on this thing.”
“Okay,” said Cadance, “She said to insert the disc into the device.” After a little fiddling she managed to get the disc out of the box and into the console. Nothing happened. She nudged the tray and it whirred and closed. “Ah!” cried Cadance, startled.
Twilight laughed and Cadance gave an embarrassed smile. The mares watched in fascination as the display came to life. After an inordinate amount of time playing movies that neither of them quite understood, the machine began to instruct them.
“Player 1 enter name,” said the machine.
Twilight picked up a controller. A cue on the screen told her which lever to use and she entered her initials. Following another cue, she found that she had to create a character. Luna had modified this game for ponies. First, she had to choose the race of pony. She decided to try pegasus. She hadn’t experienced that yet. Oddly, there was no choice of sex. Mare was the only possibility. After choosing colors and mane and tail styles, T.S. was complete. There on the display stood a pale yellow pegasus with a short, bright blue mane and tail. It had a simple, blue circle for a cutie mark.
Cadance followed suit and created an orange earth pony with a yellow and white mane. It was long and reminded Twilight somewhat of Fluttershy. Her cutie mark was a red circle. M.A.C. was ready.
“Okay,” said Twilight, “next is a tutorial for basic game play. It will show us what all these buttons and levers do.”
After several tries, the pair thought they were good enough to have a go at the game. They advanced to the next screen. The music changed, and letters ran down the screen to tell them the object of the game.
They were exploring a new planet that was being colonized. The object of the game was to complete missions. Their first mission was to deliver medical supplies from the main base to a smaller base some distance away. They were given a map and some warnings. One made Twilight question her choice of pegasus for her character. There were areas patrolled by dragon like creatures which would kill anything in the air on sight. In certain areas she would be ground bound. There were warnings about native creatures and some of the colonists weren’t too nice either. All of it was rather vague and neither of them understood all of it. The end of the scrolling text wished them good luck and the scene changed.
Before them was a huge metal gate guarded by armored turrets. Twilight pushed the lever on her controller and her character moved forward. Cadance followed behind her. She suddenly giggled.
“Twilight,” said Cadance, “did you know these characters are anatomically correct?”
Twilight instinctively tried to look and walked her character into a wall. “No, I didn’t. Now I’m going to be self-conscious about it the rest of the game. How can you tell?”
“Your tail is flagging,” said Cadance. She laughed again. “Remember the instructions? The top right trigger controls the tail.”
Twilight clicked the trigger a few times and got her tail under control. Cadance’s character went past her and she again headed towards the gate. Going through the gate, a clear trail went through a field and into a forest a short trot before them. It was beautifully rendered and very realistic.
“Wow,” said Cadance, “I can see why these games are popular. Very pretty.”
“We’d still better watch our step,” said Twilight. “The text at the beginning warned us about things that might attack us.”
“You don’t think this is a combat game, do you?” asked Cadance.
“No, it’s probably more of an adventure,” said Twilight. “There will be things that try to stop us from completing the mission. See those bars by your name? They indicate your health and abilities. If the health bar hits zero, you lose.”
“Oh, I see,” said Cadance. “And I suppose we get points or something by beating them?”
“That’s the way it usually works,” said Twilight. “Look! There’s a creature in the road. It sort of looks like a dog.”
“What do we do?” asked Cadance.
“Let’s just walk along and see if it bothers us,” said Twilight. “Some things in games don’t do much or try to escape. If it attacks, try to kick it using the right trigger”
The pair advanced. The ‘dog’ began to snarl and suddenly displayed a maw full of teeth. It charged. Twilight flew up and tried to circle to attack from behind. Cadance was pressing the right trigger as fast as she could. The creature took damage and its health bar began to drop. Twilight dove on the creature and crashed into it spilling them across the ground. Twilight’s health dropped a little but the creature was dead.
“We got him!” exclaimed Twilight. “See? I got some points. Let’s see if there’s anything else.” Twilight targeted the corpse and moved it around. A text lit up; ‘Gullo liver: 1 bit, weight 1.’ The word ‘take’ was there with an option for yes or no. Twilight chose ‘yes’ and acquired a Gullo liver.
“What did you just do?” asked Cadance.
“I looted the corpse,” replied Twilight. “Sunset says you should always loot the bodies.”
“Eww,” said Cadance. “What do you want with a gullo liver anyway?”
“I don’t know,” said Twilight. “It’s worth one bit though so I can probably sell it somewhere.”
“Ah!” said Cadance. “Next one is mine.”
There were no more gullos between them and the forest but as they neared the eaves, a yard-long millipede came out of the undergrowth and skittered towards the ponies. Again, Twilight took to the air and Cadance fought the creature. It was difficult to hit but eventually she defeated it.
She searched the corpse and harvested a carapace from the creature. It was worth 2 bits. Cadance saw that her health was down a bit. The creature had given her some damage. A red fruit caught her eye and she investigated it. A text box told her it was good to eat so she ate it. Instantly her health went back up.
The two alicorns caught on and started harvesting the fruit when they saw it. Every now and then they found a bit or two in the bushes. A few more creatures attacked them, but they were defeated easily. At last they came to a bridge. A unicorn stallion in strange armor guarded it and carried a spear-like device. They approached the stallion and a box appeared. ‘Fight or talk’.
Twilight selected talk. The stallion spoke. ‘Ten bits to cross.’
Alone, neither of them had ten bits so Twilight gave hers to Cadance who crossed the bridge. Twilight was going to try to fly across when she saw the dragon creatures circling above. She tried to talk to the stallion again.
Somehow the stallion was aware that Twilight lacked the bits to get across. He offered her another option. ‘Fight or blow job’ said the text.
Twilight blinked at the display, then she started to laugh. “Cadance, look at my screen.”
Cadance laughed too. “This is a very unusual game,” said Cadance. “Go ahead, give him a thrill.”
Twilight giggled and clicked ‘blow job’.
Twilight’s screen gave her a character’s point of view while Cadance had to watch from a distance. The scene was very realistic, and she thought she could smell and taste the stallion. After a few seconds she began to feel him in her mouth. With a shock, she realized that she was feeling what her character was feeling.
Cadance saw Twilight making odd faces. “What’s the matter with you?” she asked.
“I can feel my character giving him a blow job!” said Twilight. “I can even smell and taste him in my mouth!”
“I…. what?” said Cadance.
“It feels like I’m the one doing it,” said Twilight. She continued to click the button and the green bar continued to drop. “I’m going to see what happens when he cums.”

“Can you fly back and carry me across?” she asked Twilight.

Just then, a griffon flew in and landed beside Cadance's character. Cadance tried to talk to it.
The box popped up and gave her some options. ‘Ask for help’ was one and she selected that.
The griffon replied that he would help but he would want something in return. A list of options appeared.
She tried begging to no avail. She offered her last few bits but the griffon turned her down. With no other choice, she selected ‘free fuck’. The griffon agreed.

“I think you have to click the left button until he cums,” said Twilight.

They watched as the griffon delivered M.A.C. to the other side of the gorge. Continuing down the path, the terrain became more open and very rocky. They encountered new creatures that were harder to kill. They took damage but the fruit they picked healed them. Both characters had also earned a plus one in diplomacy for getting past the stallion guard and the griffon. They wondered what would be next. Twilight noticed red dots appear on the map. She assumed that meant enemies were near. She halted.
“Cadance,” she said, “there are four enemies ahead. Two are on the right and two are on the left.”
“What do we do?” asked Cadance.
“We don’t have much money and the loot we have is nearly worthless,” said Twilight. “I think we’re either going to have to fight or get fucked again.”
“If they’re griffons, I say fight,” said Cadance.
“And if not?” asked Twilight with a smile.
“We’ll have see what they are,” said Cadance. “If they’re ponies, it might not be bad.”
“Yeah,” said Twilight, “but I don’t want them taking our stuff either. If we just attack them, we might have a chance.”
“Fly up and see if you can see them,” suggested Cadance.
“Okay,” said Twilight. She opened her inventory and gave Cadance a wrench. “Equip yourself with this, just in case.”
Twilight equipped herself with her shovel and flew into the sky. She cautiously went forward. Soon she spotted three stallions on the ground. They were similar to the one guarding the bridge, but their clothes were dirty and disheveled. They all had lances like the guard had carried. They looked like thieves to Twilight. But there were only three. Where was the fourth?
Suddenly, T.S. fell sideways and the screen was blurred as the pegasus character spun. Twilight managed to regain control and spotted another pegasus. It was diving at her again, its lance pointed her way. Twilight hit the right trigger and kicked at the lance. It deflected but the pegasus flew into Twilight.
They disengaged and Twilight swung the shovel. It clipped the pegasus on the right side of his head, a return stroke sent him tumbling from the sky. Twilight looked down and saw that the pegasus had a couple of bars left. He had survived. She wanted to finish him but Cadance was engaged with two of the stallions and a third was advancing.
“I’m coming Cadance!” shouted Twilight and dove towards the battle. She took out the advancing stallion with a single vicious kill shot from behind. Since the pegasus was nearby. She finished him off and went to help Cadance.
“I’m down, Twilight,” said Cadance. “I damaged them a little but they got me.”
Twilight attacked the remaining two stallions and worked hard to lower their life bars. Had she been at a hundred percent when she attacked she might have won but the pegasus had taken half her bars. After a minute, T.S. lay beside M.A.C.
“Now what?” asked Cadance.
“I don’t know,” said Twilight. “Usually, when you lose, your character comes back or the game ends.”
“We both have a bar left,” said Cadance. “We aren’t completely dead. Look, the bar is raising again.”
“They’re tying us up!” said Twilight in alarm.
“Uh oh,” said Cadance.
The stallions took their saddlebags and piled them with some other items. They removed some armor and clothing to reveal two hard cocks. Twilight and Cadance looked at each other nervously. One stallion went behind T.S. and the other behind M.A.C.

“Very realistic game,” commented Cadance.
“Cadance,” said Twilight, “Look at our stats. They’re almost full. Try using that earth pony strength to break out.”
Cadance tried and to her surprise, the ropes snapped. She went to T.S. and bit through her ropes. “Come on,” said Cadance. “Let’s get out of here before they come to.”
“Not yet,” said Twilight. She equipped herself with one of the lances and jammed it through the nearest stallion. His life bar went to zero. She repeated the move on the second stallion. It wasn’t quite enough to kill him and he lashed out at her. The lance broke and Twilight staggered back. Cadance brought both hooves down on the stallion and his bar reached zero.
“Now can we go?” asked Cadance.
“Loot the bodies,” said Twilight.
Back on the path with full stamina and health, not to mention additional bits, weapons and the supplies for the base, they assessed their progress.
“We’re not doing badly,” said Twilight. “Not for a couple of noobs anyway.”
“Noobs?” said Cadance.
“That’s what Sunset calls new players,” said Twilight. “I wonder how many more stages before we get to the base.”
“According to the map we’re almost halfway there,” said Cadance. “Maybe three or four?”
“Yeah,” said Twilight, “and they’re going to get more difficult as we go on. The last one will probably be the worst test. That will be what they call a ‘boss fight’. It will be tough to beat.”
“And if we lose?” said Cadance.
“As things are going, I’d say we get fucked more,” said Twilight. “Probably worse too.”
Cadance stopped her character. “I’ve taken a griffon and two stallions, Twilight. Why do we have to keep going? Why don’t we just stop and wait for Luna to come back?”
“But what about the medicine for the base?” protested Twilight.
“What?” said Cadance. “Twilight, there is no base and no medicine. It’s just a game.”
“Oh, right,” said Twilight. “Heh, I guess I got a little carried away.”
They stood on the path for a moment and neither spoke. Cadance at last broke the silence.
“So, did you like any of the sex stuff?” she asked.
Twilight giggled. “Yeah, I did. You?”
“Except for the griffon,” replied Cadance. “To tell the truth, I’m a little wet.”
“Me too,” said Twilight. She smiled. “One more stage?”
“Okay,” said Cadance with a wicked grin, “but if this one hurts, I’m out.”
They left the rocky region and continued through some fields to another forest. This one was darker than the first. The path was still clear and easy to follow. There was a beast called a madalak that they were able to defeat after a long fight. It was worth it though as they acquired some valuable body parts. Twilight’s fighting ability was up to eight now and Cadance’s was at five. They stopped to eat some fruit and recharge.
“I’m glad that thing didn’t get to do us,” said Cadance.
“I don’t think it would have,” said Twilight. “I think it would have just eaten us or something. All the sex was with creatures that we’re familiar with. The game creatures seem to just want to kill us.”
“Maybe,” said Cadance. “I’d rather not find out. What if it has a dick that’s huge and covered in spikes or something?”
“Oh! I won’t chance it,” said Twilight. “I just think it unlikely that they can.”
Their stats charged and now armed with lances, they continued on. They picked some fruit. More potent purple fruit appeared in addition to the red ones. They kept walking.
The trail widened into a small clearing. Twilight was instantly suspicious and slowed her pace. Cadance advanced blithely into it.
“Look at his Twilight,” said Cadance. “There’s a big plant over here with what looks like an orange pear. Think it’s worth picking?”
“Maybe,” said Twilight. “See if the game will let you take it. There’s another one.”
Cadance and Twilight went towards the plants. Twilight targeted the fruit first and tried to pick it. That was when things started to happen. The plants came to life. A gap opened near the fruit. The fruit dropped and Twilight tried to pick it up. As she was distracted by the this, a vine wrapped around T.S.’s hoof. Another entwined itself in her tail.
“Cadance, I think something is wrong,” said Twilight. “Don’t click on the fruit.”
“Too late,” said Cadance.
“Get away!” said Twilight. “This one is wrapping around me.”
“Again, too late,” said Cadance.
The lances were not the proper weapon to deal with the vines. They were difficult to hit and even when they did manage to kill one, others had taken their place. Twilight staved off capture longer that Cadance by switching to her trusty shovel but soon both characters were restrained.
Though the characters were still, the plants were not. They pulled their legs open and began to worm their way into the characters. Several small tentacles were inside T.S. and Twilight was feeling the effects.
“This is… nice,” sighed Twilight.
“Y… yeah,” agreed Cadance.

“That was a good one,” said Cadance. “No offense to your brother but that was the best ride I’ve had in a while.”
“Please,” said Twilight, “no more information on the subject. Look, there’s more of the fruit. I wonder if we can just take them now.”
“Leave them alone,” said Cadance. “We still have more to go through. Let’s take a break before we go on.”
“Alright,” giggled Twilight, “let’s go a little further away first. Just down the path until we clear the vines.”
They moved further down the path and halted. They had taken all the weapons from their previous victories, so they equipped themselves with new lances. Health and stamina bars rose as they waited.
“That was… mostly enjoyable,” said Twilight. “Want to go on?”
“We can go a little way,” said Cadance. “Kill a few more creatures and earn some bits.”
“Yeah,” said Twilight, “you liked the plant, didn’t you?”
“I hate to admit it, but yes,” said Cadance. “I came a couple of times and feeling what the character would feel was hot.”
“I’m beginning to think the key to this game is knowing when to lose,” said Twilight.
Cadance laughed. “I know what you mean. It also helps to know when to press that button.”
“It was pressing the right buttons on me,” said Twilight. “I wish Luna would get back. I’m not sure I want to go on.”
“Wasn’t that too rough for you?” asked Cadance.
“Not so far,” said Twilight, “but I’m worried about what comes next. I think maybe we should try to evade the next one. We could have probably walked right past those vines as long as we left the fruit alone.”
“Let’s look at the stages,” said Cadance. “The first one required you to give a blow job, or fight. The second one I had to screw a griffon. That one wasn’t much fun. “It depends,” said Luna, with a sly smile. “You can go back down the path and do the stage you skipped by helping the minotaurs or you can go on to the next stage. Going back will allow you to gain some items you may find useful to advance but you can make it without them. You can earn a little experience too. If you go on, there is another interaction and then the boss. After that you can enter the base. Once at the base, you can sell your stuff, buy useful items for the next level and get your next mission.”
“I meant, are we expecting more sex?” said Cadance.
“Certainly,” said Luna. “You should know what this game is about by now.”
“I think I do,” said Cadance. “What are we going to face next?”
“Oh!” said Luna. “You want spoilers. Alright, I don’t want to give you too much information or it won’t be fun… in the next stage you’ll meet a pair of stallions. You’ll have to deal with them, one way or another. The boss fight is a manticore.”
“Any hints about how to get past the stallions?” asked Twilight.

“No, not really,” said Luna. “You’ll see.”
“If we go on,” said Cadance.

“I’ll keep going if you will,” said Twilight.
“Oh alright,” said Cadance. “I’m still not sure about that manticore though. Its thing is cat too, isn’t it?”
“I’m afraid so,” said Luna. “I guess you’ll just have to defeat it.”
“Are you going to help?” asked Twilight.
“No,” said Luna but she reconsidered. “Well, maybe a few hints. First things first, you have to get by the guards.”
Twilight rolled her eyes. “Let’s go. After the minotaurs, the guards should be easy.”
Twilight started the game and T.S. and M.A.C. walked down the path. After a few quick fights with creatures, they spotted the guards ahead. Twilight approached and they leveled their spears against her. She halted and clicked the interact box. She started a conversation with the stallions.
The stallions became friendly after learning of their mission and directed them to the proper path. Twilight was about to go on when Luna spoke.
“You won’t stand a chance against the manticore if you just advance,” she said. “Keep talking to them.”
