Fen is a multigender child raised by parents who are in constant argument over Fen and what he "should be" when disaster strikes, changing their life forever.
This story happens shortly before the events of "A Dreamless World" in the same dimension/universe, this being a backstory to one of the inhabitants to the world that Biovera and the gang were transported too.
