It will be a bit different age of starting from cannon Harry Potter.
The Beginning of an Adventure
Twilight was super excited. It was going to be her first year at Hogwarts. Today is the day she is going.
In case you were wondering Hogwarts is a school for magic which wizards and witches attend. They start at the age of 16 and go there for 7 years.
Twilight has been practicing magic for so long. She is really ambitious and wants to be on top of her classes. She also won't be going alone. Her older brother Shinning Armor will also be there. It will be his 6th year. Twilight is a Muggleborn which means both of her parents are humans.
Twilight and Shinning Armor were at train going towards Hogwarts. Candence, Shinning Armor's girlfriend, was also with them. Twilight is very close to both of them.
Shinning Armor is a Griffindor while Cadence is a Hufflepuff. Twilight was worried about which house she will be sorted into. Shinning Armor noticed her worrying.
"Hey Twily, it will all be all right! I am sure you will be sorted into Ravenclaw as you want to!"
"But what if I don't? What if I get sorted into Griffindor? Or Hufflepuff? Or even worse, Slytherin?"
"How would you ever be sorted into Slytherin? Especially when you are so smart and love to study!"
"Shinning Armor is right" Cadence jumped in to reassure Twilight too, "there is no other house that fits for you!"
"Thanks guys!" Twilight smiled. "I guess I am just worried for nothing."
"It's normal to be worried on your first year!"
"'Sup! Is this seat taken?" a part red part blonde haired girl Twilight's age walked in and gestured at seat next to Twilight.
"Uh, no?" Twilight answered.
"Phew!" the girl sat down relieved. "Every other seat was already taken! I was worried I would need to stand whole trip to Hogwarts."
Everyone just stared at her.
"Oh right! Sorry! I'm Sunset! Sunset Shimmer."
"Twilight Sparkle! Nice to meet you!"
"Nice to meet you too!" Sunset smiled at her.
Twilight's POV
And then Sunset smiled at me. Her smile. Wow! It was beautiful! And she was beautiful. Also she seemed so calm and relaxed, how can she not be worried about sorting? Maybe she is just good at acting.
"So, what house do you think you'll get in?" Sunset asked me.
"I really hope to be a Ravenclaw. I love to study and I think I would fit there" I've said excitedly. "What about you?"
"Eh, I don't want to expect something and then get dissapointed. To be honest I am good with whatever house I get sorted in. I also love to study by the way!"
"That's amazing! Maybe we can study together sometimes!" I can't believe I asked that so easily.
"Of course!" Sunset smiled again. She SMILED again! She looks adorable!
Whole train ride was amazing but I think Cadence and Shinning Armor noticed me starring at Sunset whole time.
As we all got there, we parted with Cadence and Shinning Armor. Sunset and me went to dinner hall and we listened to headmaster's Dumbledore's welcome speech.
Then the sorting began.
"I am so nervous!" I've admitted.
"Hey, don't be! It will all be alright! All houses are great! And no matter what you already made one friend here! I don't mind if we end up in different houses." She is really good at reassuring. It calmed me down a lot.
"Thanks. It means a lot" I smiled at her and she smiled back.
Suddenly they started saying the names.
"Applejack.... Griffindor!"
"Fluttershy..... Hufflepuff!"
"Trixie.... Slytherin!"
"Rarity.... Ravenclaw!"
"Rainbow Dash..... Slytherin!"
"Pinkie Pie..... Griffindor!"
And so the names went and suddenly they called Sunset to come.
"Sunset Shimmer..... Griffindor!" I was so happy for her I started cheering. But then it was my turn.
"Twilight Sparkle...." Please be Ravenclaw, please be Ravenclaw, please be Ravenclaw!
"Hmm.. this one is more difficult" sorting hat told me. "You want to be a Ravenclaw and sure you would fit there.... but I think there is a much better house for you." Oh no, what does that mean???
"Slytherin!"
The words echoed in my mind. Slytherin. SLYTHERIN! I got sorted into Slytherin! Why? How? WHY?
Was it because I am ambitious? Or resourceful? What will Shining Armor and Cadence say?
Slytherin's are stereotyped as mean. Will Sunset think I am mean? And they usually hate Muggleborns. Oh no. OH NO!
After the sorting Sunset approached me.
"Hey!"
"Hi."
"Wild sorting there."
"Yeah...."
"Hey, don't be sad! Slytherins are great too!"
"You don't think anything bad about me because of it?"
"Of course not! Not all Slytherins are bad. Don't worry I don't believe stereotypes! I like to judge people on my own."
"Thanks. And same!"
"Then all is good! I am sure you will find it great there!"
"But what if they find out I am a Muggleborn?"
"That... might be a problem. But if anyone ever tells you something bad because of it I will personally punch them in the face!"
"Thanks, Sunset! You're awesome! I'm glad I have met you!"
"I'm glad to meet you too! See you on lunch?"
"Yes! We will then compare our classes!" I got excited.
"I can't wait!"
And then we parted ways. I started going towards Slytherin's common room to see my new room and get changed into greener uniform.
When I came into the common room I accidentally bumped into someone.
"Hey you, watch where you are going!" said the girl. "Do you even know who I am? I am the Great and Powerful Trixie! The greatest witch Hogwarts will ever have!"
"Ugh leave her alone, Trixie, we just got here!" a voice came out of nowhere.
We both turned around and saw a girl leaning on the wall with her arms crossed. She looked very chill and cool. Her rainbow hair was covering part of her face.
"Ugh! Rainbow Dash! I hoped I finally got rid of you!" Trixie rolled her eyes.
"Trust me, I would prefer to not have to be around you, Trixie. Now leave the girl alone."
"Or what?"
"You know how badly I have beat you in our last duel. Do you really wanna repeat that?"
"Ugh! I will go now but not because of you! I needed to go fix my make up anyway."
"Right...." Rainbow smirked and started approaching me.
Trixie left and I have turned to Rainbow. Her eyes looked even prettier up close. I can't believe she stood up for me, we don't even know each other.
"T-t-thanks" was all I could say.
"No problem. Someone had to do it and, no offense, but you didn't seem like you would defend yourself."
"Well... maybe I would."
"Sureee." I mean she was right.
"Thanks anyway."
"No problem! Anyway I have to go now, classes will soon start."
"Okay. See you around!"
That Rainbow girl sure is something! She seems very brave. I want to get to know her more. And I am glad I have met Sunset too! She is so nice and empathetic. I think we will get along well. I hope to get to know them both better.
I got to my bed and saw a note laying there.
"Be careful who you mess with!

Twilight's POV
I was pacing around the hall in front of classroom nervously. My first class was Charms but I couldn't stop thinking about the note. What could that possibly mean? Was it sent from Trixie? There is no one else it could be from that got angry at me.
"Hey, is this maybe a Charms classroom? I got a bit lost" random girl with green eyes stopped me. "Also are you alright? You've been walking around here nervously for a while."
"Yes, yes, I'm fine! Just a bit nervous!" I sounded even more nervous than I was.
"Okaaaay." the green eyed girl replied. You could see she got a bit worried.
"Also this is Charms classroom. It will probably start any minute."
"Awesome! Do you maybe wanna sit together?"
"Sure! I'm Twilight!"
"Applejack! I think it's starting! Let's go in!"
The class started, teacher greeted us, tried to remember our names and started the lesson. I couldn't concentrate on the lesson though. I was thinking about the letter and Slytherins and Sunset. Also, even though I don't like to admit it, I couldn't help but think about Rainbow Dash.
She is very brave to stand up to Trixie like that. They seem to have a past. She also seems nice, she doesn't even know me and helped. I wonder which class is she in now.
The class finished earlier since this was our first class and I headed with Applejack to get some lunch.
We met there with Sunset.
"Hey there!"
"Hi! This is Applejack. Applejack, Sunset."
"Nice to meet ya!" Applejack said.
"You too! How was your first class?"
"Awesome! I am so excited to finally start to learn stuff" I've said.
"Me too! I have just had Potions thought. There was this strange girl. I think her name was Pink something. She blew her potion and we had to exit as an emergency. Professor Snape got so angry!"
"Oh no!" I've replied.
"OH NO!" Applejack said. "You mean Pinkie Pie? She is my cousin."
"Uh, don't worry, she seemed fine and laughed the whole time. It kinda made Snape even angrier."
"That does sound like Pinkie. I should probably go check up on her. I will talk to you later."
"See you Applejack!" I have said.
After she left I have told Sunset about what happened and the message. I feel like I can trust her.
"She did WHAT? Oh don't worry, I can fix that! She will never come close to you again!"
"No! I mean that's really nice of you that you are protective but we don't know if it was her."
Sunset sighed. "You're right! But I don't want anything bad happening to you. We need to figure out who this was. I'll help you."
"I agree. Thanks."
"Happy to help."
We continued eating and talking about our first experiences in class. Apparently Sunset and I have Care For Magical Creatures together. I really feel comfortable in her company.
My next class was Potions. Apparently I have it with Trixie. Yay, how great! But luckily, there will also be both Applejack and Rainbow Dash so I guess it will not be bad.
I came late. I am usually never late but this time I got lost and came late. Guess who was already sitting together. Applejack and Rainbow Dash. And guess who had only empty seat next to them. Trixie. Oh fantastic!
"For your first lesson you will be working in pairs" professor said. Even better I have to work together with Trixie! What could possibly go wrong?
We were working on the potion, mainly avoiding conversation but then she really had to ruin that. "I have heard you wanted to be in Ravenclaw. Too bad you're not smart enough!"
"At least I am smarter than you!" I was annoyed.
"I don't know. I am the great and powerful Trixie after all! Completly from line of purebloods!" Trixie said as I eyerolled at her. "I assume you are not a pureblood. What are you? A half blood?"
I refused to answer.
"Oh wait! You aren't... no, it can't be!" she started laughing and I was getting more annoyed. "I can't believe we have a Slytherin muggleborn in our year!"
She burst out laughing and I couldn't contain my anger and shoved her head into our potion. That.... didn't go well with the professor.
"10 points from Slytherin! I had bigger expectations from you Sparkle!"
Trixie got cleaned up and we all continued. She was so happy about me getting in trouble. But I wasn't paying attention to her anymore. My mind drifted to Rainbow Dash. She was working with Applejack and they seemed to have a lot of fun. They even seemed.... flirty? I don't know if it's just my jealousy or are they really flirting. I hope they are not! That would complicate the situation a lot! I mean they are just talking. I don't even know what about! They are probably just plantonically joking. But then why does it bother me so much? I have only met them.
Trixie seemed to have noticed me starring at them. "Oh, too bad Rainbow won't ever notice a girl like you."
"What does that even mean?"
"Just that you're too.... nerdy for a girl like her to be with you."
"First of all, you don't know anything about people crushing on each other, do you? It doesn't matter if you are different. Feelings don't work like that, you can crush on anyone! And second of all, why would I care? I have only met Rainbow!"
"If I know one thing then that is to notice when someone likes someone else! And you practically scream I like Rainbow Dash" she sounded annoyed.
"Let's just get back to potion!"
"If you say so. But don't you dare to deny what I've said. You know I am right."
I eyerolled at her. Am I really that obvious?
After I had Transfigurations with Pinkie Pie, she really is unusual. Very fun I have never met someone like her. She literally introduced herself like "Hi! I am Pinkie Pie! There's a non taken seat next to me. Want a lolipop?" Which made me more comfortable because she was nice.
After all my classes ended I decided to explore around the castle. I was trying to find a library and a quiet place to read before the start of the year meeting with Slytherins in the common room. I did not expect a random girl who was in panic to approach me.
"Quick! Come with me!" she pulled me into some room. There were clothes and fabrics everywhere.
"Which hat looks better with this dress? The blue one or the yellow one?"
"You have approached me so quickly and pulled me into a random room in panic TO ASK ME ABOUT HATS?" I was angry! She scared me so much! I thought something happened.
"Well yes of course! It's an emergency!"
"You have scared me!"
"It is an emergency!"
I sighed. "The yellow one."
"Thank you, darling! I really needed to pair this quickly."
"Why?"
"I need to make as many outfits as I can for my botique back at home. I probably won't have much time over school year so I am preparing."
"You already have a botique? At 16?"
"Well yes, I always knew fashion is my call so I opened a business."
"Wow! That's impressive!"
"Thank you!"
There was a bit if silence as mysterious girl continued to combine outfits.
"Rarity" she suddenly said.
"What?"
"My name is Rarity."
"Oh, I'm Twilight."
"You're a Slytherin?"
"Yes. Honestly, I thought I would be a Ravenclaw."
"Oh, well, there is nothing wrong with either house. I knew I would be Ravenclaw but it wouldn't be the end of the world if I was something else."
"Oh, this reminded me! I still didn't tell my brother how my sorting went! I need to go!"
"Good luck!" Rarity shouted as I ran outside.
After long search I have finally found Shinning Armor and Cadence. They happily greeted me.
"Twily! How was your first day?" Shining Armor was excited.
"Yes, we want to hear all about it!" Cadence said.
"Well, there were ups and downs" I have said as I told them everything that happened. Except for the message part, I know I can trust them but I think it's better to not tell them yet.
"Ugh, that Trixie!" Shining was annoyed. "But Twily, we are so proud of you! My Slytherin little sister!"
"Thanks. I was worried of what you would think."
"How can we not be excited! All houses are great! I hope you aren't too sad you aren't in Ravenclaw" Cadence said.
"I was at first but now I am starting to like it more."
"That's good" said Shining, "because you will make the smartest best Slytherin! I just know it."
"Thanks." I was happy.
We continued to talk a bit and then I went to return to my room.
I was walking down the corridor when I got lost. I passed by a strange doors. It was different from others and it had a beware, stay away sign. It was dark but the light was coming from it. And then I've heard it.
The scream coming from it.

Twilight's POV
Next day I woke up terrified. I couldn't focus on yesterday's meeting and I couldn't sleep well either after hearing scream coming from that strange door. Was I suppossed to report anything to professors? I think I wasn't allowed to be there, what if I get in trouble?
For now I have decided to remain quiet about it and continue with my day. Today I have Herbology and Care for Magical Creatures which means I will see Sunset so I am excited.
At Herbology I was greeted with the most unusual professor ever. Pink haired girl sat next to me. She didn't say anything and seemed very nervous. So I greeted her.
"Hi! Are you excited for Herbology?"
"Very."
"Me too! Do you like plants?"
She nodded. Okaaay.... she seems very shy.
"I'm Twilight!"
"Flut..." and I didn't hear the rest.
"Sorry, I didn't hear you well."
"Fluttershy..."
"That's a nice name!"
"Thanks."
"Welcome class! I am professor Discord, but you can call me just Discord. I will be teaching plants or whatever."
Did he really just say he will be teaching plant or whatever? Well this is going to be an interesting subject. Professor Discord seemed chill and like he didn't care much about plants at all. He looked like he was only few years older than us but so tired of everything. Maybe he wanted to teach some other more exciting to him subject but he ended with this? That doesn't mean he needs to be so uninterested. And how did he even become teacher at 20? He either must be very smart or he is here for something. Something about him seems suspicious.
After class ended he asked, "Alright. Does anyone want to work on extra credit project?"
Both Fluttershy and I raised our hands. Discord sighed.
"Great more work for me. Alright, come here so we can arrange something. We will be planting these special glowing plants. It will be like an extra class of Herbology where the 3 of us will plant them and take care of them for this whole semester. Once a week. Are you really sure?"
We both nodded excitedly. He sighed.
"Alright. Great! I guess there are people interested in plants."
Seems like fun! However it may be weird if Fluttershy won't want to talk with me much. Maybe when she gets to know me she will be more comfortable around me. We shall see.
My week was well. It started a but dramatic but I think I am slowly getting used to here. I have found out I have Flying classes with Rainbow, History of Magic with Rarity and Defense Agianst Dark Arts with all of the girls I have met. On friday night I have decided to visit the doors again.
There it was again. The scream. It wasn't stopping. Suddenly, I've heard footsteps and hid. Someone came and tried to open the door with a spell. I moved a bit to see who it was. I couldn't believe it! Professor Discord!
What is he doing here? And why is he trying to open the doors? And what's with the scream? As I've said he is too young to even finish Hogwarts, let alone be professor! All of this is so suspicious!
I quietly ran away so he didn't notice me. I need to tell this to someone. I need to find out what's behind those doors!
But who do I trust? Who can I trust? My brother? Cadence? I think they will tell teachers and, not that I don't think they can handle it, but I don't think they will handle it.
Can I trust any if the girls I have met in the past week? I only know them for few days. But thee is no one else I can ask for help so maybe I could try? At least I will see what they are like and if I can trust them.
I have sent them all a message to meet at the Astronomy tower at 10 pm. I have noticed Astronomy tower is a place not many people go to at night. I think we can safely discuss here.
They all arrived. Sunset, Rainbow, Applejack, Pinkie, Fluttershy and Rarity. I hardly know them but I feel like I can trust them. We all are so different, I don't know will we be able to work together.
"Okay, I'll go straight to the point" I started. "I have found something on my first night at Hogwarts. There's just something mysterious about it and people going around it. I need to find out what it is. And I don't know who I can trust. Can I trust you?"
"Of course!" Sunset was first to respond.
"Duh! I love mysteries and would like to help!" Rainbow said.
"Me too!" Applejack added.
"I don't know if I will be able to help but I won't tell anyone." Fluttershy said quietly.
"You have helped me with fashion emergency. I guess it's only fair to repay you."
"Fashion emergency?" Applejack raised an eyebrow.
"It was important!"
"Alright..."
"I like adventures!" Pinkie added.
I took a deep breath. "Okay. Thanks. I know I have just met you this week but only other people I know are my brother and his girlfriend and I don't think they would help me."
Then I continued, "there is this door I've found. Something that's glowing is inside of it and I have heard screams. Door has a beware sign and is differently decorated than other doors."
"Wow!" Rainbow was surprised. "And you wanna break in? Without professors knowing?"
"Yes. I don't think they would handle it. I think we need to do it on our own."
"Breaking the rules? Maybe you are more Slytherin than you thought" Rainbow smirked. "Count me in!"
Other girls agreed too. Maybe she is right. Maybe I am more Slytherin than I thought! After all Sorting hat has said I am.
"There's also something else. Last night I went to it again and professor Discord tried to enter it."
"What?" they all were surprised.
"There's just something wrong about him! He is 20! You finish Hogwarts at 23. How did he even became a teacher?"
"Maybe he was very smart and skipped years?" Fluttershy suggested.
"Or he is looking for something" I've said. "And we need to find out what it is!"
"Maybe we can also somehow find his biography somewhere? Either his job application or grades from years at Hogwarts" Sunset suggested.
"That's an amazing idea!"
"There's one problem though" Applejack said. "Those are kept in Dumbledore's office."
"Then we need a big enough distraction that Dumbledore needs to go out and some of us can sneak in!" Rainbow said.
"Maybe we can also find the key for the room there" Rarity pointed out. "If anyone has it then it must be Dumbledore!"
"Wouldn't that be too dangerous?" Fluttershy asked. "Can't we just somehow ask professor Discord?"
"No! That would be too obvious" I answered. "Have you seen this guy? I bet he is very careful not to be discovered."
"But he seems nice."
"More like very suspicious. WAIT! Fluttershy, you and I have extra classes with him!"
"Yes."
"Maybe we can somehow find out more about him."
"I don't really want to go behind his back, he seems nice."
"Alright, then I will try to ask him and find out more."
"But wait" Applejack stopped us again. "What kind of distraction would it need to be to get Dumbledore out? Someone would need to get in big trouble."
"Leave that to me girls" Pinkie smiled.
"Okay... if you're sure"
"Don't worry, I'll have it all under control."
"When will we do it?" I asked.
"Day after tomorrow, it's Monday, all teachers have classes so it is more likely that Dumbledore will need to get out and check what's happening."
"Great! Who will go?" Rainbow asked.
"I can. I have a free period in the morning" I offered.
"Me too!" Applejack said.
"Same!" Sunset added.
"Okay 4 of us will look through the office. Pinkie Pie will distract them."
"What about Phoenix?" Applejack asked.
"Uhm... I may know a way" Fluttershy said. "But it's not nice. We need to feed him with these so he falls asleep for half an hour."
"You carry creature food with you?" I asked.
"Yes, always."
"What will I do?" Rarity asked.
"You go with Pinkie. In case Dumbledore starts to go back to office and we aren't done, let us know and try to slow him down" I said.
"Got it!"
"Everyone knows what they need to do?"
Everyone nodded.
I can't believe they all offered to help. Seems like they can be trusted. Maybe we can be friends. I would really like that. We shall see how all of this goes. And what's with professor Discord. Or in the door. And will Trixie do anything after that note? So many mysteries to uncover and I am ready for them!

And So Friendship Was Formed
Twilight's POV
On Monday I got up and got ready. I have found a note on my desk.
"You will regret trying to find out what's behind those doors!"
But wait. T? Who could have sent this? How did they put it here? Who is T? Is it Trixie? How would she know what we are up to and about the door? Maybe Trixie isn't T after all but who could it be?
Maybe Discord saw me that night and found out what we are doing and used a fake initial? Maybe Discord isn't his real name? But why would he ever send me that first note? Be careful who you mess with? Maybe that was a warning to be careful? But why to me? What did I do? All of this is a lot.
I tried to not think about that and focus on our plan. We have put sleeping food in Phoenix's today's meal in the kitchen so he will be asleep. We don't know what Pinkie will do. But she did something because Dumbledore went in hurry outside his office. We then sneaked in.
His office is huge! And looks so cool. Filled with magical items and books. I love it! But we aren't here to admire the office so I instantly went to search.
Few minutes later Rainbow asked. "Got anything yet?"
"Nope!" I replied.
"This is useless! We may never be able to find something in here!"
"I may have found something!" Applejack said. "Discord's job application. Apparently he skipped few years at Hogwarts because he was very smart and wanted to graduate early and become professor."
"That's strange" Sunset was suspicious. "I have found his grades and apparently he only went first 3 years and then dropped out. He wasn't the best student and his grades were very bad. He always skipped classes and caused trouble."
"How in the world would he be able to lie about going here and graduating earlier when they were literally his teachers?" Rainbow said.
"Maybe some spell?" I have suggested. "Or maybe teachers changed. There are tons of way one could do it."
"True" Sunset admitted. "I wonder why did he drop out. And why did he need to be a teacher here?"
"He also paused for a year before returning here" Applejack added.
"Teachers have bigger access to castle" I said. "But he still can't enter that door for some reason."
"Maybe he thought he could once he was a teacher?" Applejack suggested.
"Guys" Rainbow called. "While you were discussing I think I found the key."
"Perfect!" I said. "I've been resesrching yesterday and found a spell with which we can duplicate the key so Dumbledore doesn't notice it is gone."
"Great! Now hurry."
"Oh no!" Sunset said.
"What?" I asked.
"Rarity said he will be here any minute!"
"We need to go out! NOW!" Applejack said as she and Sunset quickly put everything back to its place.
"Geminio! " I quickly cast the spell and Rainbow put the real key back.
We ran outside at the last minute. Dumbledore arrived a few seconds late and he luckily didn't notice us going from his office. We greeted him and proceeded to classes.
Later at night we have decided to meet again at Astronomy tower. I met with Rainbow in our common room.
"There you are!" she said. "I thought you decided not to show up."
"Sorry, I was taking a shower."
"Let's just go. I bet they are waiting."
"Do you think it will be safe to open the door?"
"I don't know what to expect! But that's what makes it exciting, we don't know what's there. It could be pratically anything, this is Hogwarts."
"Are you scared?"
"No. I am never scared!" she was confident. "Are you?"
"Maybe? Would it be bad?"
"No. It's normal! But don't worry we all will be there to protect you!"
"Thanks" I smiled.
We arrived at Astronomy tower.
After we exchanged information, Pinkie tried to explain us what she did with potions to make such a mess but not be caught. I have found out she is actually very good with potions. Apparently incident at Sunset's class was first time she messed up in years in potion. Maybe she was nervous since it was her first class.
We have decided to celebrate our success and to not go open the doors today. We will do it on friday. For now we will just celebrate and talk.
"You should have seen the look on Sunset's face when you tlld her, Rarity, that Dumbledore was coming!" Rainbow laughed.
"You should have seen your face!" Sunset got annoyed which made Rainbow only laugh harder.
"We all got so scared!" Applejack laughed too.
"I don't get scared!" Rainbow said.
"Yeah right!" Applejack laughed a bit.
"You all don't even know how I panicked trying to slow him down!" Rarity added excitedly. "I literally bumped into a statue while panicking!"
"Oh wow!" I said. "I can't believe we managed to not get caught."
"Me neither. What if someone knows?" Fluttershy said.
"I'm sure they don't" Pinkie reassured her.
"So how are you liking Hogwarts so far?" I asked.
"It's awesome!" Sunset replied. "I really like it here."
"Same!" I replied. "And I am glad I have met all of you and that we are starting to be friends."
"Yes!" Pinkie pointed at me. "That is a real reason to celebrate tonight! To our friendships!"
"To our friendships!" we all said as we drank orange juice that Rarity brought.
We then continued to talk about bunch of stuff.
"Hey Rainbow?" Applejack asked.
"Yes?"
"Sorry if it's too personal but I wondered how so that you dyed your hair rainbow?"
"I'm a lesbian" Rainbow just casually answered like it was nothing to come out. She also winked at Applejack. SHE WINKED AT HER!
"Nice! Same" Applejack smiled super hard and got very happy. I was so jelaous! They seem to like each other. And I don't like it. But they are my friends, or aquaitances, I don't want to argue with them either way. I guess we will have to see.
"Ha nice!" Sunset joined. "I'm bi, high five!" They high fived.
"Me too." I said shyly. Sunset definitely smiled a lot at that, Rainbow seemed happy too but maybe that's just because we are both gay or as a sign of support or something because they all were happy.
"That's nice!" Fluttershy smiled.
"I support you all" Rarity added and Pinkie nodded in agreement. I really feel so comfortable and good around these girls.
"OH!" Pinkie suddenly snapped. "When do you think we will be let at Hogsmade?"
And so we continued talking and having fun until late at night when we all parted ways towards our bedrooms. I feel like I belong at this school more and more every day.

Twilight's POV
"Alright you two! Welcome to our first extra Herbology classes. Yay!" Discord didn't sound too enthusiastic. "As I have said we will learn about this glowing plants and take care of them or whatever."
Fluttershy looked excited while I was annoyed with his lack of interest.
"Okay let's start planting!"
"But wait" I said. "Don't we first need to learn about these plants? Or warnings? Or how to properly plant them? Or safety? Or literally anything??"
"Nah, those are for nerds." WHAT?
"I agree with Twilight" Fluttershy's voice was quiet but he apparently heard it because he instantly answered.
"Alright then we will learn about it! I happen like teaching about this glowing stuff."
"Yay!"
He listened to her just like that? Why did he not to me? Does he know I saw him there? Is it because I am Slytherin? Am I annoyingly curious about it? I mean Fluttershy did say it in a nicer way while I got angry and annoyed. I facepalmed myself and both of them looked at me confused.
"Didn't you say you want to learn it?"
"I do! I do! I was just thinking about something."
"Okay." Discord looked very suspiciously angry at me. Oh no, he knows, he definitely knows.
The rest of the class went well, Discord told us everything we need to know and gave us extra homework, which I like. Then we planet the seeds. I wasn't able to ask any questions or anything because he spent whole time helping Fluttershy. Maybe he just hates me. Great, another Snape.
But Fluttershy and him get on well. Seems like she will have to ask around more after all.
Later I was walking around the hallway when Pinkie basically jumped on me.
"Have you heard?"
"Heard what?"
"About Celestial Ball?"
"What's Celestial Ball?"
"It's a ball that will be held soon. They are discussing which date to put. Isn't that exciting?"
"Yeah, I guess it will be fun!"
"Yes, we will be able to dance whole night and bring a date!" Pinkie was excited but then she looked at the clock. "Uh, gotta go! See you soon!"
"See ya!"
A date. And a ball. That sounds fun. But I don't even know would I rather go with Sunset or Rainbow Dash.
Days passed and Friday came. We all gathered at night.
"This is it" I've said.
"Let's open it!" Sunset was determed.
We all took out our wands and made sure no one was around. Then I put in the key and opened the room.
The light flashed from the room and we entered it. When we did we saw a key in the middle of the room with glowing rock on it. Around the room was a ghost. She was screaming.
"Uhmm, hello?" I tried to get her attention.
"Who dares to enter this room?" the ghost was angry. "What do you want?"
"We just wanted to find out what mysteries this room holds."
"Very well. I wasn't screaming to get someone's attention for nothing! If you want to find out the secret this key holds take it! But beware, there is a price to pay if you want to know the secret."
"What price?" Sunset asked confused.
"And where do we take it?"
"You will see!" she said calmly but then angrily yelled. "Now LEAVE!"
And we all ran outside and quickly locked the door.
"What do we do now?" Applejack asked.
"I don't know. Maybe there is a map or some button or spell which can help us" I replied.
"I think we should go back to our rooms, someone is coming!" Rainbow warned us and we all quietly sneaked back to our rooms.
Next few mornings I have spent analysing the key. There must be something to it. But I couldn't seem to find the answer. And honestly, our Herbology extra class came way too soon.
Discord seemed like he didn't sleep last few days and he was very annoyed and stressed.
"Excuse me?" Fluttershy asked.
"Yes?"
"Discord, are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"Are you sure?" I joined. "No offense, but you don't look very well."
"Yes! I am fine! Perfectly fine! What could possibly be wrong? It's not like some of you all students here mess with things you know nothing about! If whoever did that continues they will ruin everything!"
Fluttershy and me looked at each other confused. "Ruin what exactly?" she asked.
He sighed and has already calmed down from what appeared to be a small mental breakdown. "Nothing. Now let's get back to work."
He proceeded to teach so I turned and whispered to Fluttershy, "you need to find out what it is."
"Me? Didn't you say you will ask him?" she whispered back.
"Yes but he hates me. He seems to like you though! You need to do it."
"Uhm..." she didn't look comfortable at all. Then she sighed, "alright. We need to find out what we are going into after all."
I took a walk outside the castle. I needed some fresh air. I saw Hagrid outside his house taking care of a few bowtruckles. I approached him. “Do you maybe need help?” I’ve asked.
“Well of course! I could use some help! Just be careful. Bowtruckles are—”
“Peaceful but very shy creatures. I studied about them but never took care of one.”
Soon Sunset approached. “Hey, can I join you too? I’m trying to stay away from my ex Flash Sentry. I mean what are the odds that your ex ends up in the same house as you?” she sounded frustrated.
“Sure, we could use some help!” Hagrid said.
We spent an hour helping Hagrid and then I left to take a walk in the corridor.
At the corridor I saw Applejack. “Hi!”
“Oh hello!”
“What are you up to?”
“Waiting for Rainbow to go watch Quidditch practice. She said she wanted to try to join the team next week.”
“Oh nice! I hope she makes it!”
“Me too!”
“You and her get along well.”
“Yes. You and her too. Why do you ask?”
“I was just wondering do you maybe like her?”
“Hey guys!” Rainbow interrupted. “What are you talking about?”
“Nothing!” I’ve said while Applejack said "Quidditch" at the same time.
“Okaay, weird. Anyway, shall we go?”
“Yep! Do you wanna come with us, Twilight?”
“No thanks. I still have some book to finish. Have fun you two!”
“Thanks you too!”
Fluttershy's POV
I was sitting alone near a window in the hallway. It was the middle of the night and everything was dark. I just needed to take a walk.
How did I get involved in this? I mean I am glad to make friends and this seems like a fun adventure but I don’t want us to get hurt. This can be very dangerous. And how am I supposed to find out things about Discord? Why me? Why can’t anyone else do it instead? They are much better at communicating.
As I was wondering all of this, I have suddenly heard footsteps. I got scared and hid. Suddenly, I saw Discord. Oh no.
I have decided to follow him anyway. He went to the door and had the key to open it. “I need to find out who took the key. I’ll ask the ghost. I need to stop them!” he whispered to himself, but it was loud enough to be heard.
It also made me gasp. “Who’s there?” he suddenly turned around and I tried to hide as quickly as I could hoping he didn’t see me.
“Fluttershy?”

Fluttershy's POV
Last night after Discord saw me I just quickly ran away all the way back to my room. And guess what the first class is today. Herbology, of course. I feel so anoxious. Maybe I shouldn't go? But I will have to come to his class at some point and I need to tell Twilight what happened before class.
I entered the classroom and quickly went to Twilight but before I could say anything Discord entered.
"Alright class! Let's begin. Open page 16. Fluttershy I want to speak to you after the class. Okay so now that we all opened the books let's begin."
Everyone turned around and looked at me which made my very uncomfortable. They seemed like they were judging me. Gossip travels fast in Hogwarts, who knows what they will say.
"What is that about?" Twilight asked worried.
"I saw him yesterday when he tried to open the door."
"Oh no. Do you need help? I can stay near classroom just in case something happens."
"Thanks."
The class continued pretty normally and when it finished everyone left but me. There was an uncomfortable silence.
"Fluttershy..." he started and pause but few seconds after he continued. "What exactly did you saw and hear last night?"
"Uhmm... I saw you opening some random door. I heard what you've said about having to find out who stole the key and needing to stop them."
"Oh great! So you've heard everything" he facepalmed himself.
"Uhm, mind if I ask what key are you talking about?"
"I think that's none of your business."
"But now I know about it."
"Ugh, fine!" he became annoyed which made me feel even more anxious. "In that room was this key I have been trying to get but only yesterday I managed to find a key for the room. Someone stole the key from there and I need to find who did it."
"Why is that key so important? What does it open?"
"Something in Forbidden Forest. You shouldn't worry much about it."
"Can I somehow help?"
"Just.... pretend you don't know about it. Please."
"Alright."
There was silence for a bit.
"It opens something important that I was trying to find when I was studying in Hogwarts."
"Oh. When were you studying in Hogwarts? You look a little young to be a professor. No offense."
"No. I am. I'm 20. I finished Hogwarts at 19."
"Wow! Your grades must have been amazing then! That's literally 4 years earlier!"
"It is" he said sadly, like he drifted away for a few moments but then he came back. "Yes, I graduated earlier and decided I want to become a professor here."
"How did you decide it? You don't seem very interested in Herbology." I said but quickly added, "no offense!"
"Not taken. I'm not. Is it that obvious?" he laughed.
"Kinda", I said awkwardly.
"Maybe we can talk about it some other time. I will let you go now, need to prepare for another class."
"Alright. Thank you, professor Discord."
"And please don't call me professor Discord. Just Discord is fine. I am only 4 years older, it feels weird."
"Alright! Goodbye, Discord!"
"See you, Fluttershy."
I have exited the room and found Twilight nearby who started asking me a bunch of questions. Honestly I find it weird that profe--- Discord opened up to me. Maybe he felt comfortable enough? Or he doesn't have anyone else to talk to around here? I'm glad he did. I don't know will I tell Twilight everything. It felt personal.
Twilight's POV
Fluttershy and I went to get lunch. She told me Discord opened up a bit to her and that the key opens something in the Forbidden Forest but that he didn't say much of other things. I don't know if that's true, they talked for a bit, but I'll trust her judgement on what she needs to tell me.
We ate our food when Pinkie Pie joined. "Hey girls! Guess what!"
"Hm?" is the only thing I could reply.
"Celestial ball is in 3 weeks!" Pinkie Pie said excitedly.
And that's amazing! But also means I need to decide who I want to go with. That is, if any of them will want to go with me. I hope they do!
Applejack's POV
This is our third week at Hogwarts. I love it here! And love the people I have met! Rainbow asked me to skip today's class and go take a walk outside with her. I, of course, said yes!
Honestly, I am always looking for excuses to see her. I can't get her of my mind. She has literally never left my thoughts ever since I have met her! I always find myself thinking about her beautiful eyes or adorable smile or how would it feel to kiss her soft lips and how badly I would want to go on a date with her. Would she ever want to go out with me too? Who knows.
I got up and met with Rainbow, we went outside and started to walk around.
"And that's why I think I will make it in the team!" she was talking about trying out for Quidditch. She always gets so adorable talking about things she loves. She is always adorable.
"I fully believe you will make the team, sugarcube." I supported.
"If I do will you come to watch our games?"
"Of course! I'll come to every single one of them!"
"Wow! So just your casual starring at me during every class is not enough for you?"
I blushed so hard! "Uhhh, I, uhmmm, I--"
She laughed. "Don't worry, I'm just joking. I mean I do notice you starring at me all the time but don't worry I don't mind. You're nice to stare at too! Anyway, thanks for the support about Quidditch!"
I blushed super hard! Did she just??? Told me she knows I stare at her and that she stares at me too and then RETURNED TOPIC BACK TO QUIDDITCH?? Before I got the chance to reply?
Wait, scratch that! She said she stares at me too! I mean I did see her stare at me but I didn't know she is doing it on purpose!
I actually decided to ask her something. "Rainbow? Can I ask you something?"
"Of course! Go ahead, Aj!"
"Are you single?"
She smirked. "Why? Are you interested?"
And I blushed hard, again. "Uhhh, I just wanna know for personal reasons."
And that entertained her even more. "Personal reasons, huh? Well if it's so important to your personal reasons then I'll tell you, yes I am single."
"Nice!"
"Are you too?"
"Yes!"
"Awesome!" she smiled, very happily.
And we continued to talk about bunch of other stuff.
Later we all met at the Astronomy tower. Twilight and Fluttershy shared what they learnt.
"Okay so we will need to explore Forbidden Forest? Honestly, sounds awesome! I wanted to go there!" Rainbow was excited.
"It could be dangerous!" Twilight argued. "We are forbidden to go there and I bet it's named like that for a reason!"
"So we just need to find someone who will tell us why it's dangerous, maybe get us around or teach us some stuff" Sunset casually said.
"Why don't we ask Hagrid?" Rarity asked. " he knows a lot about it."
"That's a great idea!" I agreed. "We should do it soon!"
"Maybe tomorrow?" Rarity asked.
"Tomorrow sounds good!" Pinkie replied.
"Good then we will meet up tomorrow and asked Hagrid about it and when we are ready we will go explore the Forbidden forest together!" Rainbow said.
"I'll also do some research in the library!" Twilight added.
"I'll help you!" Sunset offered.
"And Fluttershy can try to get more information from Discord" Pinkie suggested.
"Oh no. I don't think that's a good idea" Fluttershy replied nervously.
As much as their planning was interesting, I was starring at Rainbow most of the time. She starred at me too and every time our gazes met she smiled at me. My heart went mad and I could practically feel butterflies in my stomach. I smiled back at her.
"I'll see what I can do" Fluttershy finally said. Who knows how that conversation went.
"Alright then see you all tomorrow!" Twilight said and we all said out goodbyes.
As I was walking away someone pulled my arm and stopped me. I turned around to see Rainbow Dash.
"Hey, wanna stay for a while with me?"
"Of course." I slightly blushed at the thought of two of us starring at the stars together.
We both sat down and starred out of the window. "Isn't it beautiful? The night's sky?" she asked.
"Yeah, I love it!"
"Me too!"
"I often used to stare at it from a treehouse I had back at my farm."
"You live on a farm? That's so cool!"
"Yes, I do! I love life at the farm."
"I have always lived in a fancy mansion."
"That must be awesome too! However, you should come over summer to visit my farm."
"I would love to! Is it in muggle world or?"
"Yes. I am actually a muggleborn" I said shyly.
"Hey, I think that's awesome!" she smiled and I smiled back at her. After few moments she added, "you should come to my place too!"
"That would be lovely!" I smiled again and she returned it.
We continued to watch the stars. I leaned my head on her shoulder. I don't know what was I thinking but she just smiled at that. We continued to point out different shapes we saw in night's sky for at least half an hour before we headed back towards our rooms.
"I'm glad we stayed." I said.
"Me too! It was so fun and peaceful"
"See you tomorrow at lunch?"
"Of course!"
"Goodnight!" I smiled.
And then she did something I didn't expect. She kissed me on the cheek and added, "Goodnight!"
She kissed me on the cheek! RAINBOW DASH HAS KISSED ME ON THE CHEEK! I was so happy and probably blushed but it was dark so I don't know if she noticed. I just smiled in response.
"Sweet dreams!" Rainbow walked away.
And I entered my room, laid down and spent the rest of the time thinking about her kissing my cheek before I drifted to sleep.

Twilight's POV
Well, I haven't bumped into Trixie in a while. Except in Potions class since we sit together. But the more time passes more I am convinced that she didn't actually send those letters. I'll try to focus on how to ask Hagrid to tell us about Forbidden Forest.
The classes went as usual. After that I went to the library where I randomly found Sunset.
"Hi!"
"Oh hey, Twilight! Just the person I needed. I think I may found out how to find out where exactly do we need to go in Forbidden Forest."
"Really? How?"
"Not here. Let's meet after asking Hagrid."
"Alright."
Fluttershy's POV
I was taking a walk around castle when I saw Discord drinking coffee alone. He was sitting at the Corridor. I really don't want to sit there and try to get information from him. It doesn't seem right. Especially since it seems personal to him.
But I came to him anyway. "Mind if I join you?"
"Sure."
We sat there in silence for a while.
"Is something wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing new."
"Alright. You know, if you ever need a talk you can come to me."
He looked at me surprised for a bit before finally speaking, "Thanks. You can talk to me too if you have any problems. I mean not only about Herbology but others too. We are not that different in age."
"Thanks!"
After few moments of silence he spoke again. "It activates on full Moon. I need to find they key before it."
"What activates?"
"The crystal."
"What crystal?"
"It's better if you don't know."
"Okay." I didn't want to push too far. We aren't close and honestly I am surprised he even told me so much. I feel like we are starting to be friends and not just teacher and student. I like that. I shouldn't like that.
We didn't speak much after, but it was a comfortable silence.
Applejack's POV
Rainbow and I met for lunch. She was excited.
"I can't wait to go to" and then she started talking more quietly, "you know where. It will be a big adventure and so exciting!"
"Aren't you worried how dangerous the forest may be?"
"No! I'm not scared and we will be fine. We have 2 I love magic and know and study everything girls and more importantly we have me, the awesome Rainbow Dash!" I found what she said adorable. I like how confident she is. I smiled but then continued.
"But one of us could get hurt."
"Don't worry, I'll keep you safe."
"Uh, thanks. I'll take care of you too!" we both smiled at each other and continued to eat.
Sunset's POV
I went to meet with the rest at Hagrid's place but I bumped into no other than Flash Sentry, my ex. I always go everywhere but somehow he always ends up nearby.
"Watch where you are going!" he said angrily. Of course he did! Ugh!
"It was accidental!" I was angry.
"Just like it was accidental to use me and date me just to gain popularity and when you didn't need me anymore you dumped me?" he was angry too.
"I have said I am sorry tons of times! I have changed! Besides we were kids! Both twelve! TWELVE! It has been 4 years!"
"I doubt that you changed!" he said as he started leaving. "You're hanging out with that Twilight after all!"
"What is that ever supposed to mean? Twilight is a great person! And you think whatever you want! I don't care!"
"My sister didn't deserve that!" he yelled as he left the hall.
What about his sister? I didn't do anything to her! And I bet Twilight doesn't even know her. He is so weird.
Seriously, can he not let girl alone and not repeatedly tell her her mistakes she made when she was 12? It was a long time ago and I really did change. Plus I apologized and tried to make it up to him but he refused to speak to me unless he was being angry at this.
Anyway, I try to ignore and avoid him as much as I can.
We met at Hagrid's. At first he was suspicious but after some convincing he started telling us about how to enter Forbidden Forest and take care of ourselves. There are so many dangers in it, I'm not sure if we should go soon. Twilight seems so sure about finding it. I know she is curious, honestly I am too, but I have doubts about going.
Later we all met in Room of Requirements.
"It opens at full moon? What could it possibly be?" Twilight was thinking.
"I think we need to find out" I have said. "Also I found this spell that will help us unlock a map if the key has any."
After we discovered that gem in the key shows a map after the spell is cast, we studied where it lead to. Apparently it goes deep into the Forbidden Forest, how great.
"Okay then on full Moon we will go there!" Twilight said.
"Full Moon is on the night of Celestial ball in 3 weeks" I noticed.
"Perfect! Then everyone will be busy. We stay at the ball for few hours and then at midnight we go to the forest!" Twilight always looked adorable when she was planning something.
"Awesome!" Rainbow exclaimed.
"Until then we should all pay more attention in classes and study spells in our free time so we can defend ourselves more easily." I said.
"Okay, that's boring" Rainbow said and sighed, "but you are probably right."
Not probably I AM right! But I just nodded.
"Perfect! Then we have a plan" Twilight smiled.
Everybody agreed and left. There were only Twilight and me there. And then I decided to ask. "Did you think about who you want to go with?"
"Oh no. I didn't yet. Why?" she sounded nervous.
"Well if you don't have anyone to go with yet, maybe the two of us can go?" I started. "You don't have to answer me now but think about it." I winked and left, too scared of her saying no.
We will see what her reply may be.

3rd Person's POV
Next day they all met with Discord. They were somewhere where no one could disturb them.
"You don't even know what you did" Discord was annoyed.
"Then start explaining and I might give you back the key!" Sunset was angry.
"Sunset, we could have opened the cave!" Twilight interrupted. "We could have seen what's on the inside ourselves!"
"Yeah, but what if something inside is dangerous?" Sunset tried to explain calmly. "We need to first hear his story. Maybe he knows something that we don't. If it's safe then we will go next month but I will not let us all go inside when we literally have someone who can tell us. Maybe", on the last part she eyed Discord suspiciously.
Twilight looked at her and then sighed. "You're right. I'm sorry I wasn't thinking much about it."
"It's okay. We were all scared and shocked, no one had time to think." Sunset said as she hugged her. "Now", she then angrily turned to Discord, "explain!"
"Ugh! Fine!" Discord was annoyed. "I guess you all leave me no choice."
"It all started on my first year of Hogwarts" he began to explain. "I was sorted into Slytherin and met these girls Melanie, which I called Mel, and Stacy there."
"Wait!" Sunset stopped. "Melanie as in Melanie Sentry? Flash's sister?"
"Yes!" Discord replied. "Now let me continue. Over time the three of us became the best of friends. We went through and did everything together. However, there was one Griffindor guy bullying us, just because. Shinning Armor."
"My brother?" Twilight was shocked. She didn't know this about her brother. Her brother was a bully! Did she not know him well enough? Has he changed?
"Yes, your brother." Discord replied bit annoyed then sighed and continued. "He was a year older than us and thought he is so much better than us just because he is a Griffindor. But even despite that we always stuck together and didn't let him bring us down."
Twilight couldn't help but think about her brother. He bullied Slytherins because they were Slytherins? What does he even truly think about her now? Will this influence how close they are?
This can also explain why Discord was always so annoyed with her.
"In our second year, Mel and I started dating. You see, Mel was a really shy but super nice and kind girl" he smiled while describing Mel, "she had long brown hair. She also loved flowers and plants and most importantly she would always help anyone and be there to talk to them. I wonder how did she even end up being Slytherin" then his expression became darker, "Stacy, however, was very different from her. She was mean and rude. Would try to fight anyone and everyone. But even though our differences we were friends."
"However, something happened one day. Stacy said she hates muggleborns and we saw her bully one. Mel was a muggleborn and I have nothing against them. We both actually hate those who think they are better just because they have so called "pure" blood. That's why we were so shocked to learn Stacy was one of those people."
"Oh no!" Fluttershy commented.
"That's why Mel and me started to distance from her. Beside we were in relationship and hung out without her. Always sneaking around and skipping classes. Stacy got jealous. She was so angry! Even angrier than before because, because of her hate for muggleborns, she didn't like Mel much."
"That's why she joined Shinning Armor into trying to tear our relationship apart. She convinced him that they should find the crystal in the Forbidden Forest that's in the locked cave. The key was somewhere in Hogwarts."
"Mel and me weren't aware of that at that moment. They found the key to open the cave deep in some locked room in Hogwarts' Dungeons. They have gone to the forest and found the crystal."
"It took them a while to find it, we have already reached our 3rd year. By the end of it, they knew how crystal works and that it is a teleporter to unknown. It only opens during full Moon. They have decided to push Mel into it."
"Stacy came to us very happily that she found some super cool place in the forest. We didn't like the sound of that but we trusted her so we followed her there. We were fools."
"When we came there Shinning Armor jumped out of nowhere. They attacked us and we dueled. However, during the duel Stacy managed to push Mel into the crystal. Just as she did it, the sun rose and dawn came. Full Moon was over and the portal closed", Discord was becoming more and more emotional.
"The portal closed and I couldn't save her!" he cried.
"Stacy ran away. That jerk ran away and never came back!" he was angry. "And your brother! He only now realized what he had done and explained everything to me. He had the key with him and I begged him to give it to me so I can save her next full Moon."
"But he didn't want to give it to me! He locked the cave! He locked the cave and took key with himself to his muggle home and my only chance to save Mel!" he cried.
"I didn't want to give up but he was determined to not give me the key because we don't even know if Mel is still alive and we aren't sure the crystal is portal. We don't know what it is."
"Oh Discord", Fluttershy said sadly and hugged him, "I am so sorry."
He paused to hug her and after few moments he continued. "But I didn't want to give up. I dropped out of Hogwarts and tried to find where Shining hid the key. I spent a year looking for it until I have learnt that he took it back from muggle world to Hogwarts and, under Dumbledore's permission, he locked it in the room you girls found it in."
"I decided I need to get it and faked a Herbology diploma. I have told Dumbledore I spent last year learning Herbology and working on myself and healing from what happened. He believed it. I got the job and tried to find a way to get it."
"Then you all showed up."
"Oh no!" Fluttershy said.
"We are so sorry! We didn't know. We just wanted to uncover this mystery" Twilight said.
"Yeah, we are sorry", Sunset agreed.
"You all messed into something you didn't understand! Why did you even have to find out what it is?"
"Curiosity?" Twilight said awkwardly. Discord facepalmed.
"But now I will have the key and be able to help bring Mel back. Can you give it to me now?"
"No way!" Sunset said. "We are going to help you!"
"Yes!" Twilight agreed. "Besides, you still don't know if it's a portal or something else. We have a month, we will do research and find out how to save her."
Fluttershy put a hand over his back. "Don't worry, I am sure we will get her back." She smiled.
"Thanks", Discord gave a small smile back.
"Wait!" Applejack said and everyone turned to look at her. "Just one question. Were the Dementors always there or?"
"No, no. Dumbledore put them there so no one goes again after he found out what happened."
"What about the ghost keeping the key and screaming?" Rarity asked.
"A friend of mine. I have asked her to help me locate the key."
"Alright, so now we know what to do!" Rainbow asked. "In a month we are going to save Mel!"
"I'm worried what if Stacy comes back", Applejack admitted.
"We will be ready!" Discord said.
They all were so sure of it all. But not everything goes as planned.

3rd Person's POV
The next month arrived very soon. No one was able to find anything about the crystal or where it may lead to. Twilight was avoiding her brother and Rainbow Dash. Everyone else got closer. Applejack and Rainbow Dash started officially dating.
Discord has also explained how everyone knew what kind of person Shining Armor was and that that is why they probably hate Twilight. However Discord doesn't know who sent those letters to Twilight.
Everyone was studying Patronus spell. But so far only Twilight was able to cast it. Her Patronus was an owl.
"Nope! I can't! It's way to hard!" Applejack said as she tried once again to cast Patronus.
"I'm... almost.... there...." Rainbow Dash tried her hardest.
"Okay! I think this is enough for me today!" Rarity gave up and sat on a nearby chair.
"Come on, girls! We need to all know this so we can fight Dementors more easily." Twilight reminded them.
"This is one of the hardest spells any witch or wizard can master" Rainbow started, "And you expect us to learn it in the first year?"
"Exactly! There. Is that so hard to understand?"
Rainbow facepalmed.
"I did it!" Pinkie screams as her Patronus of a crocodile walked around. "Wohooo!"
"Bravo Pinkie!" Twilight was happy.
Sunset was just quietly trying her hardest in the back. "Expecto Patronus ! Patronus ! Patronus! Patronus !"
"Wow there Sunset!" Twilight approached her. "Calm down, I am sure you will be able to cast it soon but don't exhaust yourself like that."
"Why can't I cast it? Why is this one so hard? I usually always can cast the spell!"
"I know and you're doing great! This one is hard."
Sunset sighed in defeat. "You're right. I should go easier on myself."
"Yes, you should. You're trying your best!"
They all continued to study Patronus charm.
It took them a while to learn spells. Few months have passed and before they know it, the girls and Discord gathered on the edge of forest.
"Are we sure we want to do this?" Twilight asked. "I mean we don't know how to help Mel or what happened to her."
"When we get there I will enter the crystal. You all just take care that no one else gets inside.!" Discord said.
"But what if it's not a teleporter?" Fluttershy was worried.
"Then I'll find out the hard way" he said sadly.
They continued to go deep into the forest. When they got there Twilight, Pinkie and Discord removed Dementors with Patronus spell. They have entered the cave.
There it was, glowing yellow crystal. They were all standing around it until Discord finally spoke. "Here goes nothing."
"Wait! Can't we think of another way?" asked Fluttershy.
"We tried everything" Twilight said. "Sadly this is the only way."
"There has to be another!" Applejack joined.
"Yeah!" Rainbow agreed. "Can't we search more books or whatever?"
"It will only take more time" Rarity said. "And I don't think we will find anything."
"But it's his life at stake!" Pinkie snapped.
"Yeah! How can you just let him jump into that?" Sunset got angry too.
But, as they were arguing, Discord jumped. "No!" They all screamed but it was too late.
Fluttershy was the first one to speak, "do you think he's okay? How will we know he is alright and when will he get back?"
"Oh that's easy!" unfamiliar voice came behind them. They all turned around to see girl they have never seen before.
"Who are you?" Sunset asked.
"Stacy's the name. And you are going to join him!" she said as she pushed them all inside the crystal with a spell.
Twilight's POV
After we were pushed everything went dark. I woke up and found myself on some meadow filled with different colours of mainly pink and purple. The plants growing there were strange, the ones I have never seen before. One dragon flew across the sky. Everything looked like from some kind of different universe.
"Ouch!" Sunset said. "Where are we?"
"Did I not strictly tell you to stay in the cave?" Discord got angry.
"Well Stacy came and pushed us into it!" I replied equally angry. Why doesn't he ask first what happened before jumping to his own conclusions? Or mabye if we are alright?
"What do you mean Stacy? She came back?"
"Yes. And she definitely didn't like us being there."
"Oh, what are we gonna do now?" Fluttershy asked nervously.
"The portal is still open!" Applejack pointed out.
"So that means we have six hours to find Mel and get back" Rainbow said.
"Okay, I'll set the timer!" Sunset said as she started to adjust her clock.
Rarity screamed and we all turned to her. There was a tiny lizard biting her skirt. "Someone get it off!"
Applejack sighed and helped her. At least that lizard seemed normal.
We decided to start searching for Mel.
4 hours lof wandering through this world later and we still didn't find Mel. This world is huge who knows how long will it take us to find her!
I think it's time I explain everything to Rainbow Dash. I mean if we are gonna work together we shouldn't be in an argument and avoid each other. Plus we are so bad at finding Mel, I might just as well do it now.
"Hey" I came to her.
"Oh hey."
"About what happened before Celestial ball... I'm sorry."
"It's okay."
"I had a crush on both you and Sunset and got jealous of Applejack. I shouldn't have gotten angry at you. That wasn't right from me."
"Nah, no worries. I figured it out!"
"You did?" I was surprised.
"Well yeah! I was just waiting how long will it take for you to start talking to me again. I'm sorry I broke your heart just like that. If I knew I would have told you in a different way."
"That's alright! So can we be friends again?"
"Of course! As long as you don't start avoiding me again!" Rainbow joked.
"Don't worry I won't" I hugged her.
And then we continued walking. Suddenly, ground below us opened and we fell deep into some sort of cave.
There was a glowing crystal in it and no way out since the way we got in closed. The crystal light up the room. And there we saw her. A brown haired girl with blue eyes starring at us in shock.
"What did you do? There's no way out of this cave. Ever!"

Twilight's POV
"What did you do? There's no way of getting out of this cave. Ever!" the brown haired girl with blue eyes said. It sounded half like a treat and half like she was worried and frustrated.
The way she looked, she seemed to have been here for a long time. Her hair wasn't brushed, her clothes dirty, she looked pretty exhausted and I don't even know how she survived since there was neither food nor water around.
Discord looked at her, his eyes filling with joy. "Mel? Mel!"
"Discord?" she suddenly threw a wand she was holding and they both ran to each other and hugged. After hugging they kissed.
"Aww! Cute!" Fluttershy was happy.
"Oh great!" Rainbow was annoyed. "We found Mel but now we are forever stuck in some random cave! How great!"
"I never stopped looking for you" Discord said. Mel and him were completly ignoring us.
"And how did she even survive? There's no food" I said.
"Aw! I have hoped you were still out there searching for me!"
"Or water!" Applejack added.
"How could I ever stop? I love you Mel!" Discord said.
"Or anything to do!" Pinkie said. "Except that shiny glowing crystal."
"I love you too!" Mel said before they kissed again.
"Are those plants growing inside?" Rainbow was surprised.
"How long have you been in this cave?" Discord asked.
"Almost ever since I got here. I fell in pretty soon and realized there is no way out. I have been trying to get out ever since then."
"Wow! That's a lot!"
"Yeah! But tell me what happened? Why did Stacy do this?" she started to get sad and desperate.
"Oh right" Discord's expression got sadder. "You don't know."
"We are a bit short on time. How did you even survive in this place?" Sunset asked.
"It's quite a long story" Mel said. "I have found a way to grow plants inside and found fresh water. Didn't get sunlight in over a year though. Oh! If you want to there is some food left!" she offered them questionable thing that didn't look eatable at all. "Try it, it doesn't taste very good but it is eatable!"
"Um, no thanks", Fluttershy said awkwardly.
"Yeah, we are good!" I added.
"Are we gonna be stuck in this cave forever?" Rarity asked. "How will I ever wear some other clothes! I knew I should have worn my favorite dress!"
"Yeah" Applejack was sarcastic, "because that's the real problem here."
"It is one of the problems, Applejack!" Rarity was annoyed.
"Oh come on!" Mel said still offering food. "I have cooked this myself."
"That's it!" Pinkie snapped. "I am gonna go in the corner and try to accept the fact that we are maybe trapped in this cave forever with the girl that maybe went insane from being in this small space alone for so long or maybe the fact that we are all characters from a cartoon that are in a Harry Potter crossover fanfiction!"
"A what?" I was so confused.
"Nothing", she said kinda disappointed and sat down and curled up on the floor. There is no time for that, we need to get out. "We only have 2 hours left!"
"Actually now it's only 1 hour and 40 minutes" Sunset said.
"Shut up!" Rarity yelled and everyone looked at her. "Good. Now that I have your attention..." and then she continued very angrily and in panic, "what is happening? Where are we? How do we get out? Why is this crystal here? I don't want to be stuck in here for longer than 2 hours!"
"Well" Mel said. "We are trapped in a cave that only opens from above. It didn't open ever since I fell in it before you guys came."
"Perfect!" Rainbow was still sarcastic.
"I'm not sure how do we get out or if we even can get out. I think we possibly could get out with this crystal" Mel was hopeful. "I figured out it is connected with the one in Forbidden Forest."
"That's great!" Sunset was happy. We all were.
"But!"
"Of course!" Rainbow said, still using the same annoyed sarcastic tone.
"To activate it one needs to do a spell and hold it. Otherwise no one can pass through it. The only way we can get out is for someone to stay trapped here while other leave."
"Oh no!" I said.
"What are we gonna do?" Applejack asked.
Mel sighed. "I guess it is only fair I open the portal and let you all leave. I have been here for a while and got used to it. You all need to find a way to save me."
"No!" Discord said. "I can't leave you again! Not now when I finally got you back."
"We have to do it."
"I'll stay!"
"No!" Fluttershy suddenly said but when everyone turned around to see her she just shyly said, "no offense, Mel."
"Not taken. Pink haired girl is right! Imagine if I came back after all this time. It would be a lot harder for me to find a place and manage to stay at Hogwarts without them locking the cave once again. And how would we explain where you are?"
"They would rescue me, they know now it is safe to enter."
"They didn't rescue me all this time!"
"They didn't know."
"Dumbledore knew! I bet he did!" Mel was angry. "He just doesn't care at all about his students!"
"Mel..."
"Please. You all need to go before full Moon stops. Find me and rescue me!" she said as she cast the spell to open the portal. Tears fell down Discord's face and Mel and him kissed before they broke apart. "I'll be back in no time and then we will be able to finish Hogwarts and move in together as we always planned." she said smiling and then pushed him into the crystal.
"No!" was heard from Discord before he disappeared.
"Hey Mel" I said, "not that I doubt your ability to figure things out or anything but are you sure that will take us back to Forbidden Forest? Are you sure it's safe?"
"Ugh, yes! Just go in!" Mel was annoyed.
And we all went in, leaving Mel once again alone in the darkness of a cave.

I don't know if next chapter will be ready by tomorrow I have stuff to do so not sure if I can finish it but you'll see when it comes out.

3rd person's POV
As they all got out of crystal into the cave in Forbidden Forest, they saw Stacy waiting for them there. "Ugh, I knew you would come out soon but I kinda hoped you would stay to search for Mel."
"We did find Mel!" Discord was angry.
"Then why she isn't with you?"
"We don't have to explain ourselves to you!" Sunset cut it.
"And I can't let you leave this cave."
"But why?" Discord wanted an explanation.
"Because you two left me out! Because we need to get rid of all muggleborns! Because I want revenge!"
"We left you out because you were so against muggleborns!"
"Right.... don't act all nice Discord! You were against them too!"
Everyone stopped shocked. "Is she telling the truth?" Twilight asked.
"Well..." Discord said awkwardly.
"You were?" Fluttershy was shocked.
Stacy started laughing. "I guess he skipped the part where he hated muggleborns too when he just started going to Hogwarts."
"I have changed!" Discord was angry.
"You only changed because Mel was a muggleborn. Remember how we both used to think muggleborns and even halfbloods should be forbidden from wizarding world? You were even bullying them! That was the reason Shining Armor started hating you. Now that Mel is gone, we can try to do that again."
"Never!" he was angry. "Crucio! " Everyone was in shock because it is one of three unforgivable curses that must never be done. It makes the person feel pain and tortures them.
"Protego! " she shielded herself and laughed. "You used one of the Unforgivable curses? Wow. And they call me evil."
"You are evil!" Discord replied.
"I bet not all of your friends are purebloods like you. Hm... what about the pink haired one. Crucio !"
Fluttershy started screaming in pain before anyone could react. First one to do so was Discord, "Expelliarmus!"
And Stacy's wand flew away from her hand while the others started running away from the forest.
They soon came to Hogwarts.
"Can we have one adventure, just one, where we don't end up running away from middle of the forest all the way to Hogwarts?" Twilight was exhausted and annoyed.
"Are you okay?" Discord asked Fluttershy.
"Yes. You reacted fast. Thanks."
"You have used Crucio curse?" Twilight was angry. "What were you thinking? Do you know what will happen if someone finds out?"
"I think that is not our biggest concern right now!" Applejack interrupted.
"Yeah!" Rarity joined. "We need to finally change clothes! We are all full of mud and dirty" she couldn't help herself.
"No!"
"Fine! We need to figure out what to do next and then change our clothes."
"Thank you!" Applejack said.
"Wait", Rainbow stopped them. "Did she follow us?"
"She can't come to Hogwarts", Discord said. "Someone would recognize her!"
"It's night" Twilight cut in. "It would be easy for her to sneak in."
"Then I suggest you all go to your common rooms and tomorrow we will report this to Dumbledore" Discord said.
"And how exactly do you plan to explain you have gotten into the cave again and brought your students too?! He will never let us rescue Mel!"
Discord sighed. "You're right. Oh, what are we going to do?!"
"Let's go look for her" Pinkie suggested. She has actually been more quiet than usual on this adventure so everyone was surprised when she spoke.
"Okay, yes. That is a good idea but we need to stick together. If we get separated we won't be strong enough to defeat her. She went to Hogwarts few years more than we did and who knows what has she been doing in the past year."
"But if we split" Rainbow interrupted her, "then we will find her sooner!"
"And how exactly will you call others for help?"
"What if we don't find her?"
"Then that is the problem for tomorrow!" Twilight was in panic and annoyed. "Okay let's go!"
They started exiting. Fluttershy paused and turned to Discord.
"Did you really bully muggleborns?"
"Sadly. But I assure you that was a very long time ago. I have changed."
"Okay. I don't know about others, but I believe you!"
"Thanks."
They all continued to wander around the castle. No sign of Stacy.
A month has passed. Winter has come and it was the last day of class before winter break. Hogwarts has been awkwardly quiet and there was no sign of Stacy. Twilight and Shining Armor still didn't talk.
Sunset and Twilight were going to their common rooms after their last class.
"So we are going to deal with getting Mel out after the holidays" Twilight told their decision out loud. "Sunset I still can't believe you're coming with me to meet my family and stay over Christmas."
"Honestly, me neither. I bet it's going to be great."
"Or a disaster. I still didn't discuss stuff with Shining and I have been avoiding him and Cadence for a while."
"Look Twilight, I know it's scary but you'll have to talk to them at some point."
"You're right! And I'll feel much better knowing you'll be nearby."
"Good. Because if you need me I'll be there."
"So you're going to stay here?" Fluttershy asked Discord.
"Yes. I'll try to find some ways we can save Mel and keep my guard up in case Stacy shows up."
"What if she does show up? You'll be on your own."
"I can handle myself. From what I know Stacy was always interested in learning dark magic and forbidden curses, I kinda was there and learnt them too with her back then."
"Did you ever use them?"
"Before this last time when we saw Stacy and I have used Crucio curse, no. But I feel like to stop Stacy I will need to teach all of you those curses."
"I don't ever want to use them."
"You don't have to, but knowing them is better just in case something happens."
Fluttershy sighed. "I guess you're right. We will talk about this then after the holidays."
"Yeah, I still didn't tell the others."
"See you soon then" Fluttershy hugged him goodbye. "Happy holidays!"
"To you too!"
Sunset, Twilight, Shining Armor and Cadence were on a train going to Sparkle's house.
Shining Armor was the first to speak. "We didn't talk much lately, Twily. I am glad you're bringing your girlfriend with us."
"Me too!" Cadence added. "I'm really excited to meet you, Sunset."
"And we have a surprise of our own. One of our dear friends will join us over the holidays too."
"She is very close friend of ours and we practically tell everything to each other. Maybe you two already met her?"
"Stacy, come meet my sister and her girlfriend!"
"STACY?!" Sunset and Twilight were both equally shocked as Stacy approached and sat down with them.
Author's Note
Regarding the comment I've got, just because a writer didn't update in few weeks/even a while doesnt mean they won't finish the story. They probably had a reason they didn't update and you shouldn't get angry at them but instead politely ask when will the next chapter be. I am always open for questions as long as you're polite and not being angry.
I also plan to have 3-4 more chapters

It was winter break. Sunset and Twilight were going with Twilight's brother and his girlfriend to her parents' house and Shining Armor and Cadence have just told them Stacy will join and is their friend. This opens plenty of new questions? Do they know what Stacy has done? How can Shining Armor still be friends with her? Do they know about Twilight and her friends trying to save Mel? Are they working with Stacy? Does Twilight not know her brother after all? I mean, she didn't know he used to bully anyone.
All of these questions were troubling Twilight the whole ride home.
Soon they arrived and her parents greeted them happily. They were thrilled to finally meet Sunset they've read about in Twilight's letters to them.
Everything went well and later Twilight and Sunset went to her room.
"This is BAD!" Twilight was in panic.
"Yes but it could also be a perfect opportunity for us" Sunset tried to be positive.
"What do you mean?"
"Well we can maybe find out more about Stacy's plans and what Shining Armor and Cadence know."
"You're right. I am just so worried. What if Shining is working with her?"
"Look babe, I know it's hard but it's better to find out the truth than to believe a beautiful lie."
"You're right. But that doesn't stop me from worrying."
"Whatever happens know I'll be besides you all the time!"
'Thanks Sunset!" Twilight smiled and Sunset smiled back.
Few days have passed, Christmas has come.
Everyone wished each other merry Christmas and exchanged gifts. They all joined together on family dinner.
"So Sunset" Twilight's mum Velvet was excited, "tell us a bit about yourself! We want to get to know our daughter's girlfriend. What's your hobby? Which house are you at Hogwarts? Where are you from?"
"Do you have a criminal record?" Twilight's dad was a bit strict and judgy which was weird since he usually was the most cheerful and welcoming person. Maybe he just wanted to make sure Sunset is good for Twilight.
"DAD!" Twilight got angry.
"What? I need to know she is good enough for you."
"It's okay Twilight" Sunset cut in. "I am Griffindor. In my free time I like to ride and learn new tricks on my motorbike. I'm from Canterlot. And uh... criminal record... uhm.. right.... so the weather is really nice today."
Everyone was shocked at Sunset avoiding replying. "Sunset it's snowing...." Twilight said.
"Right."
"So Shining", Twilight tried to change subject, "you brought a friend."
"Yes. You see Stacy and I go way back, we are really close friends."
"You never told me about her?"
"Of course I did! She was that friend I have been writing letters to whole time."
"Oh...."
The whole talk was intense, Twilight was trying to get information and Shining knew that, he was being kinda mean in his replies.
"You're really a great cook, miss Sparkle!" Sunset said.
"Thank you, dear! I am glad at least someone here appreciates my cooking!"
"Hey" Twilight said "we all like your cooking, mum!"
"Speak for yourself" Shining cut in.
"Shining!" Twilight got angry.
"What? It is not the best."
"I think it's perfect!" dad said.
"Well thank you to you two too!" Velvet got happy both her husband and daughter liked it too.
"So were you thinking about getting married soon?" dad asked Shining. "You two are both 20 and have been together for 7 years."
"We first plan to finish Hogwarts."
"Yes, we think that's for the best!" Cadence confirmed.
"Yes, of course!" dad replied.
"I really love the way you decorated the tree!" Stacy was amazed.
"Oh thanks!" Velvet said. "We actually do this every year. Usually Twilight always helped before going to Hogwarts. We missed you."
"You never miss me." Shining was jealous.
"That's not true!" Velvet got angry.
"I am sure your mum just meant to say it is different this year since Twilight is now gone too" Stacy tried to calm down the situation.
"Exactly! Stacy you're wonderful!" Velvet was happy.
"Yeah right..." Twilight mummured. Only Sunset heard her.
"I'll go get the desserts!" Velvet got excited.
The rest of the dinner went well.
Twilight was going back to her room where Sunset was already waiting for her when suddenly heard Shining calling her from nearby room. "Twily, we need to talk!" he was angry.
When she entered the room, she saw him there, arms crossed, expression dark, he was angry and annoyed. She has never seen him like this. He was always her happy and kind older brother. This figure standing in front of her seemed like someone completely different. They started accusing each other.
"You entered the Forbidden Forest. You entered the cave."
"And you worked with Stacy! Maybe you still do!"
"You joined Discord!"
"You were a bully!"
"I don't think you fully understand what is going on here."
"Then explain me, Shining!"
"Stacy and I are trying to erase Muggleborns, even Half Bloods!"
"WHAT?! WHY?" Twilight was shocked, hurt and angry.
"Because they are just an addition, lucky random ones who got powers but are just as equally lame as humans. They don't deserve to be among us!"
"How can you even think that? Besides we both are Muggleborns?"
"Oh, Twily. My dear Twily. Don't you know why our parents always favorize you? Because you are their kid! I was adopted! I am not a Muggleborn, I am Pureblood! You and your friends are messing around with my plans!"
"You would erase your own sister??"
"Not by blood. And no we would just take away your powers. The crystal has many possibilities when connected with other 6 magical stones!"
Twilight was crying and yelling. "I thought you were nice! I trusted you! How could you do any of this to me? To everyone? Who are you even? Do I not know my own brother?"
"No, you don't. You all don't know me, never tried to really."
"I have been hanging out with you whole life!"
"And being parents' favorite!"
"Is this all because you are jealous?"
"Partly revenge, yes."
Twilight was hurt. But then something crossed her mind, what about her childhood friend Cadence? Has she been part of this all too? "What about Cadence?"
"Oh, she has always been with us too!"
Twilight felt her heart break into millions of pieces multiple times during this conversation. How could they do this? Have the people she knew from when she was a kid been so different than what she thought about them? She wasn't that close with them to begin with but was she so wrong about them?
Twilight never really had true close friends before Hogwarts.
"Stacy, Cadence and I were spending the past year working the plan on how we can bring all 7 rocks together. The one next to Hogwarts the rock of magic is the most powerful one. We need the rest too to be able to remove magic from the ones coming from humans."
"The rocks remove magic?"
"No. But they are said to be most powerful artifacts. Magic, empathy, loyalty, honesty, kindness, laughter and generosity. They could do it, maybe."
"You don't even know if they can do it?"
"But we will try it!"
"And me and my friends will stop it!"
"Ha! How? All you freshman and a guy who is just using you to save his love!"
"Discord is our friend!"
"You have really weak friends. I doubt they will be able to stop us!"
"Well we have each other and are strong enough to defeat you!"
"We will see about that." Shining said as he left.
Twilight couldn't take it. She sat on the floor and started crying. It hurt that her own brother betrayed her like this.
Luckily Sunset was looking for her and found her. Seeing her crying she hugged her.

Magical Mysteries of Hogwarts
When winter break was over, everyone met again. Twilight and Sunset told them about what happened.
"I can't believe it! He is an idiot!" Discord was angry.
"That jerk!" Fluttershy cursed and everyone looked at her. "What? He is."
"I just still can't believe this is all happening" Twilight said.
"It's okay Twi! It's a lot to take in!" Sunset reassured her.
"Well now we have even more problems" Applejack said.
"But at least we know their motives!" Rainbow added.
"Yeah, but no one knows what these magical rock thingies do!" Pinkie pointed out.
"Oh maybe they would be great necklaces!" Rarity was in her own world.
"I personally would like to break them and help you turn them into necklaces if they are able to remove magic they need to be destroyed!" Rainbow said.
"Ah this is a disaster!" Twilight got up.
"And I still need to teach you all forbidden magic!" Discord said.
"Right...." Fluttershy was still not fully comfortable with that.
"Can we start with those right away?" Pinkie asked. "I would like to know them!"
"Wait how did you even mean to teach is them?" Rarity was confused. "We can't practice on anyone!"
"Of course not! We would just read books and I would explain some stuff about them!" Discord said.
"People! We are trying to make Twilight feel better not discuss spells!" Sunset reminded them.
"Right!" Discord said awkwardly.
"Okay!" Twilight suddenly seemed determined. "We save Mel, stop Stacy, Cadence and my brother, report to Dubledore, find out what these rocks can do, destroy them if needed and finish this school year! Easy as that."
"..."easy"" Rainbow said.
"I mean what could possibly go wrong?" Twilight was in panic.
"We will come up with a plan, it will all be okay." Sunset said.
"Let's start with those spells!" Rainboe suggested and everyone agreed. They were back on track.
Few months have passed. Everyone learnt many new spells, the school year was coming to an end, it was the last full moon of the school year. It was now or never! They all decided to meet at the edge of Forbidden forest at midnight. Everyone was nervous about it and doing their best to get ready.
Rarity decided she wanted to take her mind of off it all and was designing some new dresses. She had met a guy she developed a crush on in the last few months so she went to meet him at Hogsmade. They grabbed coffee together and took a walk. It all seemed peaceful for her at that moment. It felt strange and anoxious that later that day will be a great fight.
Pinkie decided to go do many things to fill her day. She practiced, walked around the castle, even joined the Hogwarts kitchen and baked desserts for today's dinner. After all of that she went to help Hagrid with some animals and they rescued an alligator together. It was only a baby and Hagrid decided to take care of him. He let Pinkie named it so now little Gummy is happy and saved. Pinkie has always wanted a pet and is thinking about adopting Gummy. Or maybe an owl. Why not both?
Applejack and Rainbow Dash were having a date. It was more like a series of competitions between them but they were having fun and laughing.
"Are you worried about tonight?" Applejack suddenly broke the fun topics with serious one they have been avoiding this entire time.
"Nah, we got this."
"But what if they manage to do it? What if they remove magic from so many people? I don't want to stay without it."
"Don't worry! That won't happen. I would never let anyone hurt you nor any of my friends!"
"Aw, thanks Rainbow. I just really hope you are right!"
"I am. You'll see."
Fluttershy went to visit Discord.
"How are you feeling?"
"I am excited to finally rescue my girlfriend. After so many years. I missed her."
"I can imagine. I am glad you two will finally be together again. What do you plan to do after it?"
"I guess I would like to admit everything to Dumbledore and ask him if I can join Hogwarts again to finish it. I would really like to graduate here."
"I think that would be great! I would be happy to have you around with us!"
"I am so glad I met you. You have become my best friend and the person I always come to to talk about anything!"
"I am glad you feel like that! I feel the same way! You are one of my best friends too!"
"I can't wait for all of us to have fun and peaceful years at Hogwarts, just being friends and going to grab Butterbeer together."
"And go to Celestial ball next year without worry of going to the Forbidden forest!"
"Oh yes! That would be lovely!"
"You need to join me in helping Hagrid with animals next year! I think you are going to love it!"
"Of course! I would really like to try it, you know I love animals."
"I know!" Fluttershy smiled happily thinking about how great next years will be at Hogwarts now that she has great friends to spend them with.
Sunset and Twilight were together at the library revising spells they have learnt.
"Okay, I can't take any more new knowledge anymore! I am done!" Sunset closed the book.
"Well I am not! I can't give up now I need to learn more!" Twilight wasn't able to stop from worry.
"Twi, I know you want to succed, we all do but you are overworking yourself! You already know more than enough and we all need a break sometimes!"
"But how can I take a break when so much is going to happen tonight? I need to be ready!"
"You already are ready! We all are as ready as we can be! Why don't you try to rest a bit now, maybe take a nap? You haven't slept much these days and I will wake you up when it is time to go?"
"Sure. But can you join?"
"Of course!"
And they went to the Slytherin rooms knowing there is a big fight waiting for them tonight. Who will win? How will it all end? There are many possibilities.

Magical Mysteries of Hogwarts
The night has fallen. Moon was casting it's light on Hogwarts while stars were sparkling in the darkness. It was time, the last full moon of this school year. It was now or never.
They have figured a way on how to get Mel back with them without anyone staying behind. They also think they know how to destroy the magical rocks.
When they came to the cave they have defeated Dementors that were in their way guiding it.
"Okay" Twilight took a deep breath once they were in."Discord and I will go get Mel while you take care of Stacy, Shining and Cadence don't interrupt!"
Everyone nodded and Discord and Twilight entered the crystal. They soon found a hole in which Mel was. When they came to her she was writing some letters and then casting them away.
"What are those for?" Twilight was curious.
"Oh just some letters I sent to past you! Something like be careful who you mess with and those so you prepare for the battles coming. I signed them with T so you know it was future you who sent them."
"YOU WERE T ALL ALONG?" Twilight was shocked. She couldn't believe it was Mel all along.
"Well yeah."
"We don't have time for this now!" Discord interrupted. "Let's be fast!"
In the meantime everyone was waiting for them.
"Do you girls think its too quiet?" Sunset asked.
"Yeah, seems suspicious" Rainbow admitted.
"It's making me scared!" Fluttershy said.
"No, don't worry! It will all be alright!" Pinkie tried to reassure her.
"I regret wearing these heels" Rarity said.
"I have told you to not wear heels to a battle!" Applejack got annoyed.
"Well, unlike you, I know how to walk in them!"
"Excuse me?!"
"Hello hello!" Stacy entered the cave.
"Stacy!" Sunset said angrily while everyone pulled out their wands.
"Oh really? 6 against one? How about we take this battle outside!" she said as she quickly ran outside.
"Okay, that sounds like trap!" Sunset said.
"Maybe you all should go and I'll wait for Twilight, Discord and Mel just in case?" Rarity offered.
"Good idea!" Sunset said. "Let's go!"
As they went outside they saw Stacy, Cadence and Shining Armor standing in front of what felt like an army of shadow creatures.
"You have got to be kidding me!" Sunset said.
"Okay on 3!" Twilight said. "I cast a spell and we quickly jump at the same time."
"Got it!" Mel confirmed.
"1. 2. 3!" Twilight casted the spell and they quickly entered and appeared back in the cave. Rarity was relieved to see them.
"I am so glad you all came! You won't believe what's happening out there!"
"Did they come?" Twilight asked.
"Yes and not only that but they brought some sort of monsters, shadowy ghosts with them!"
"Oh noo!"
They all went outside to see 5 girls fighting the shadows the best they could. Sunset was fighting Stacy, Cadence and Shining at the same time.
Applejack and Rainbow Dash were working together to defeat as many shadows as they can. Suddenly too many attacked them.
"Expecto Patronus! " Rarity quickly ran to them and cast the spell which destroyed the shadows.
"Thanks Rarity!" they both were thankful.
"See? Told you I can wear heels and fight!" Rarity was proud.
"I'll never doubt your abilities again!" Applejack said smiling.
Twilight, Discord and Mel quickly went to help Sunset.
"You really took your time!" Sunset jokingly said. She was already exhausted from fighting the 3 of them all at once.
"But now we are here!" Twilight said. "Let's get them!"
Twilight and Sunset were fighting Shining and Cadence while Mel and Discord fought Stacy.
"Everte Statum! " Sunset cast the spell that threw Shining Armor backwards and he fell. But he quickly got back up.
"You know I don't even know if I am more disappointed in Shining or you Cadence!" Twilight was on verge of breaking down but she tried her best not to.
"Oh Twily" Shining started. "We have always been like this!"
"Seems like you just didn't know us at all!" Cadence was being mean, she was very amused by hurt in Twilight's eyes.
"Ugh! How could you do this to me? You're my brother and you have been my friend since childhood!"
"You thought I was your friend. I only was nice to you to gain trust!"
"And I am not your brother, I was adopted!"
Tears started streaming down Twilight's face. It was all to much for her. She couldn't take it anymore. Sunset snapped.
"I'll destroy you both!" she was angry. "Bombarda! " she cast but they jumped just as explosion hit between them.
"Oh no, I am so scared" Cadence was sarcastic which made Sunset even angrier.
"You two deserve each other!" Sunset said.
"And you two deserve each other too!" Shining said. "So weak and pathetic!"
"Anything is better than to be a traitor who is trying to destroy lives of every muggleborn like you are!" Sunset replied. "Besides being good doesn't make you weak! It makes you strong! Having your friends besides you makes you strong! We are fighting for what's right and saving Mel and every muggleborn!"
"You're right, babe!" Twilight stopped crying. "You all need to be defeated so others like me don't have to suffer! And we got the most powerful magic with us all! Friendship and love!"
"Blah blah, enough talking let's go back to battle!" Shining said as they started casting spells at each other.
"Rictusempra! " Stacy cast tickling spell.
"Ah no!" Mel dropped her wand.
"I know all of your weaknesses, you can't defeat me!"
"But there is two of us and only one of you!" Discord said. "Expelliarmus! "
"Protego! " Stacy casted a shield. "Good try though!"
"Bombarda! " Mel said as Stacy got out of the way of the spell and explosion happened.
"Ugh!" Stacy was angry. "Avada--- "
But before she could finish, "Expelliarmus!" Fluttershy cut in and Stacy's wand flew out of her hand and fell to the floor.
"Thank you Fluttershy! You saved our lives!" Discord was glad.
"Of course! I would never let anyone hurt my friends!" Fluttershy smiled.
"Ugh! You all are SO ANNOYING!" Stacy was angry. "Herbivicus! " and the plant started to grow towards Fluttershy, Discord and Mel.
"Incendio!" Fluttershy quickly threw fire at it and it burned.
"Good one!" Discord said.
"Quick thinking!" Mel added.
"Thanks!" Flittershy was proud.
They continued to fight her and then Discord got fed up. "There is no point! We have to destroy the crystal now! TWILIGHT GO!"
"WHAT?" Stacy, Shining and Cadence were shocked.
Twilight started running towards the cave as they all started to follow her. Stacy, Shining and Cadence trying to stop Twilight and others trying to stop them.
Twilight came to crystal and quickly cast the spell.
Explosion happened and everybody fell down.
Crystal of magic was destroyed.
"NOOOO!" Stacy screamed as Applejack and Rainbow Dash quickly cast the ice freezing spell to freeze them, "Glacius! "
"NOOO!" They screamed again. "This CAN'T be happening! We can't lose!"
"Turns out you just lost!" Twilight was happy
"HA!" Discord added.
"Phew! I am so glad this is over!" Sunset was relieved.
"Or perhaps, Misses Shimmer, it is not over at all." Everyone was shocked as they turned around to see Dumbledore talking calmly. "I think you all owe me some explanation."

End is Just the Beginning
Here they were in Dumbledore's office. The girls and Mel and Discord all waiting for Dumbledore to speak.
"Anyone care to explain what happened?" he asked.
"Sir, it was all my fault" Discord said as he started explaining everything. At the end he came to part of lying about him being a teacher. "I couldn't leave Mel! I didn't want to listen to your order of it being a dangerous. I faked my diploma, I got everyone here into it to help me."
"I have always knew that. I knew you wouldn't listen, I knew the diploma was fake and that these students were involved too. I am not angry." Dumbledore said calmly. "I am proud of you for doing what's right. I feel like part of me regreted not rescuing Mel so I let you all do it."
"Wait" Twilight cut in. "Why didn't you help us then?"
"Sometimes you have to let the students handle the situation on their own. I am sorry for not helping you though", he replied and turned to Discord, "The question is, what will we do about you now?"
"I would like to go back to Hogwarts and finish it", Discord said.
"Me too!" Mel said too.
"I think that's a wonderful idea! I am so proud of all of you! You were so strong and brave for fighting for this."
"Excuse me, I have a question", Twilight said, "About crystals, what are they? Where are the rest?"
"Oh the crystals are group of 7 crystals connected together. They have unspoken powers. Each represents one element, magic, honesty, loyalty, generosity, kindness, laughter and empathy."
"Could it take away all magic from human born wizards?"
"Sadly yes. It could do all sorts of bad things. But it could also do many good ones too! They are most powerful when used together. The thing is, in each generation there is one person connected to each crystal and only that person can use it's power for good or for evil. And they are the only person that is able to destroy it!"
"So you are saying I was connected with this crystal?" Twilight was surprised.
"Yes."
"But that's so dangerous!" Sunset said. "We can't have 6 more of those that just stand around waiting for someone evil to come and use them!"
"What do you suggest to do then, Misses Shimmer?" Dumbledore was calm during whole talk.
"Maybe we could find them all and destroy them?"
"Great idea!"
"But how will we find who is connected to them?"
"I think you already have an answer for that", he happily looked at all of them.
"Us?" Sunset wad shocked.
"I would suggest you all consider it and go prepare for end of the year feast! I will announce the winners of the House Cup too!"
"Of course!" Sunset said.
"Thank you for not punishing us!" Twilight said.
"And for giving us a second chance" Discord said.
They were together in the Courtyard discussing everything.
"I think we should do it!" Twilight said. "Spend the summer and our next years at Hogwarts finding the crystals and destroying them once and for all."
"I agree!" Sunset looked at her girlfriend. "They are just too dangerous, we can't risk it!"
"Yeah, maybe we could try to use their powers though?" Rainbow said.
"How about we first find them all?" Applejack said.
"And see who is connected to who!" Rarity cut in.
"Deal!" Twilight said.
"I'm in too!" Fluttershy shyly agreed.
"Mel and me too! You are not going to an epic adventure without us!" Discord said.
"Of course!" Twilight was happy.
They sat there for a while in a comfortable silence.
"So, summer will begin" Pinkie pointed out.
"Finally!" Applejack was relieved. "I don't think I could take any more studying!"
"Me neither!" Rainbow agreed. "However, I am sad we won't see each other much over summer. I expect you to visit me at least once, Aj!"
"You should visit my farm too!" Applejack smiled.
"I would love that!"
"Oh" Sunset said. "Twilight how about you visit me over summer? We were at your place over winter."
"That sounds amazing!"
"And we all could meet up at least once and write to each other?" Pinkie asked.
Everyone agreed.
There was a pause.
"What happens with my brother, Stacy and Cadence?" Twilight got sad and Sunset took her hand.
Discord replied. "They are being taken to Azkaban. Trying to take away magic from a whole group of people because blood is a serious crime."
Twilight expression got darker, she was determined. "Good!"
"Oh, I can't wait to go greet my family again!" Mel tried to change the topic.
"You should! They never believed you were dead. Always had faith."
"Aw, it will be so amazing!"
"I feel bad for interrupting this conversation", Rarity started, "but we should go to the feast!"
"Let's go!" Twilight happily said.
At the feast Twilight and Rainbow were at their Slytherin table.
"How far we came" Twilight noticed.
"I am glad to have you as my friend egg head."
"Glad to have you too, Rainbow. And don't call me like that!"
"Heh okay!" she laughed.
"Well would you look at that, the nerd and the girl she couldn't get with" Trixie came.
"Ugh!" Twilight eye rolled.
"Shut up, Trixie! No one asked you anything!" Rainbow got annoyed.
"Yeah", Twilight said. "You were like, the least of our problems this year. Which was a surprise really."
"I know right?" Rainbow replied.
"I don't even know what you two weirdos are talking about!"
"You wouldn't get it." Twilight said.
Dumbledore came. "May I have your attention students. This was as always an eventful year, a lot has happened. Some students disobeyed my orders but saved many lives because of it! I want to take this time for all of you to reflect and think about all the brave things you have done and for me to think about my decision and mistakes. We have many more amazing years at Hogwarts ahead of you! But for now let's announce winners of the House Cup!"
"I hope we did it!" Twilight said.
"Nah, Slytherins never win!" Rainbow said.
"SLYTHERINS!" Dumbledore announced.
"YAAY!" Twilight got excited and stood up as well as rest of Slytherins who were cheering and being happy.
"Well that's a first!" Rainbow was happy too.
"Now enjoy the feast, have great summer and see you all next year!" Dumbledore said.
Everyone enjoyed the feast and talked. After it, it was time to pack and go back home.
Twilight and Sunset were going back each to their room.
"And don't forget to write me letters! I also have your number saved so we will text. OH! Maybe we can also videochat?" Twilight was excited.
"Of course!" Sunset smiled.
"I am so sad we won't be together all the time."
"Hey, we will still hear from each other over texts! And visit each other. It will all be fun, you'll see! I know it will be hard with Shining and all now gone but you are never alone! I am always with you, if you will need me just text me!"
"Thank you Sunset! Same goes for you!" Twilight said as they kissed.
Fluttershy went to catch Discord before they need to leave.
"Hey!"
"Oh hi Fluttershy! Packed already?"
"Yeah, I packed sooner so I can come say proper goodbye."
"It is just a goodbye for now. I expect you to write me over summer."
"Good because I expect you to write me too!"
They smiled.
After a bit of silence Fluttershy spoke, "what are you going to do now?"
"Get back to family, tell them everything, help Mel."
"I am so glad you got your girlfriend back. You really love her, don't you?"
"Yeah, I do!" Discord smiled and Fluttershy did too.
"Next year will be even more amazing and exciting than this one, I can feel it!"
"I agree! We all will have each other and search for crystals! They can be practically anywhere! In London, Canterlot, Hogwarts, anywhere in the world!"
"That sounds fun!"
"Glad I will get to join and actually finish school."
"You are very strong."
"So are you!"
They continued to talk for a bit.
Applejack and Rainbow Dash were waiting others at the train station. Fluttershy went to say goodbye to Hagrid, Sunset and Twilight were still packing, Pinkie went to find her twin sister Marble and Rarity was saying goodbye to her boyfriend. Discord and Mel were signing some papers to enroll next year.
"Rainbow?"
"Yes Aj?"
"I love you." Applejack said so easily after risking their lives and whole year of adventures together. Rainbow was shocked.
Then her eyes softened, "I love you too Aj!" and they kissed.
Twilight's POV
We have all met up at the train station and waited for our trains. Soon they arrived, we all group hugged and entered them. I was going back with Sunset and some others who were going in my direction.
As I did I stared out at the window and thought about everything that happened this year. I have made friends, saved so many, defeated my brother and found an amazing girlfriend!
So much has happened and so much has yet to happen. We will search for the other crystals, maybe destroy them, maybe not, but do what's best to keep everyone safe. And I can't wait for the adventures with my friends we will have on our next years and later in lives. Over this summer too! We will definitely meet up few times.
In the end love won! Friendship won! Good won! As it always does. And I couldn't be happier!
I now know what real friendship and love is and what fighting for what's right feels like. I also know that this was the end of something. Maybe this year, maybe of my brother's and his groups' evil plans.
But what I didn't know was that this end.... was only just the beginning.

Applejack's POV
It was the week of the ball, Monday. Rainbow has made it to Quidditch team as a Chaser and they had practice. I watched.
After they finished she approached me.
"Hey Applejack! So what do you think?"
"It was great! I think you'll be the best Chaser Hogwarts has ever had!"
"Aww thanks" she smiled. "By the way, I have been meaning to ask. Do you maybe have a date for Celestial Ball?"
"No, not yet."
"Would you be interested in going with me?"
"I would love to!" I was so happy. Rainbow has asked me on a date. I repeat, RAINBOW HAS ASKED ME ON A DATE!
"Great!" she got happy too. "So are we gonna go grab lunch or not?"
I laughed. "Of course, let's go!"
Twilight's POV
Sunset has asked me out. Sunset has asked me out and I still didn't tell her my answer. She probably feels so bad for asking. But I just can't make up my mind and it's driving me crazy.
While I was busy thinking about it, Rainbow approached me.
"Hey Twi! Guess what!"
"Uhm?"
"I asked Applejack to be my Celestial Ball date and she said yes!" she said excitedly. SHE WHAT?
"YOU WHAT?"
"I know! I am shocked she said yes too!"
"But.... I knew there was something going on between you two!" I said a bit more angrier and jealous than I should have.
"Well duh!" she said happily but then proceeded confused, "why are you so angry about it?"
"I am not angry! It's just that.... you asked Applejack. Applejack!"
"What?" Rainbow was still confused and then got a bit angry, "do you have something against her?"
"Ugh! No!" I ran away from her, just like that, and when I was in my room, I started crying. What does Applejack have that I don't?
Fluttershy's POV
It was the night of Celestial Ball. I was drinking tea with Discord. Him and I have become closer in the past 3 weeks. I didn't ask about crystal, didn't want to push him or anything but we did talk about other things. He is very fun to hang out with!
"Fluttershy, can I trust you with something very personal?"
"Of course! I won't tell anyone."
He took a deep breath. "You see, about the crystal---"
He was interrupted by professor McGonagall who entered the room. "Headmaster Dumbledore needs to speak to you" she noticed me and then added more angrily, "immediately."
And one does not say no to her. She left and Discord started leaving too.
"You can maybe tell me at the ball or after it?"
"At the ball will be too many people. And after it too late. Just don't go to the Forbidden forest tonight. Stay at the ball."
"But--"
"Do not go there! Please, for your safety. And don't let anyone you know go either." he then left the room.
I was so confused. And this got me even more worried about tonight.
Pinkie's POV
I don't know if joining the planning community has been a good idea but I did so anyway. It took a lot of time but I just love making parties.
As I was adding finishing touches to the room, Shinning Armor approached me.
"Hey, have you seen Twily?"
"No, she is getting ready for the ball. Why?"
"I just need to talk to her about something. Rumor has it you girls have been asking around about going to Forbidden Forest. Why?"
"Doesn't anything stay a secret in this school?" I said annoyed but then sighed. "Yes, we were just curious."
"You don't happen to have some sort of key that opens something there?" he was suspicious.
"No! That's weird! Where would we even get a key?"
"Alright, just wanted to know. Thanks!" he said as he left.
"You're welcome!"
Phew! That was close! And suspicious. I wonder what he knows about the key.
Twilight's POV
At the end I said yes to Sunset since Rainbow is going with Applejack. I can't believe but I still don't know which one I like more. Maybe Sunset? I have been spending more and more time with her. She really gets me.
But I can't believe Rainbow asked Applejack! I knew there was something between them! And how will I now talk to them without it being awkward. I still didn't apologize to Rainbow about the fight. And I don't even know how would I explain it without telling her she broke my heart. How great! Just fine!
All of that aside it was an hour before the ball begins and I was with Rarity who was in panic trying to adjust my dress since she can't let me go to the ball without looking perfect. Or so she said.
"Okay! Done!" she finally said.
"Thanks Rarity! It looks amazing!"
"Thanks! I like to believe I am a natural at this."
"You are! And yours looks lovely too! When did you have time to make it?"
"I have my tricks" she laughed but then she got sad.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing. It's just that no one has asked me to go to the ball with them."
"Oh Rarity. You're a great person and I bet tons of people wanted to go with you but didn't ask. There will be plenty of people alone there too and I am sure you can ask someone to dance with you!" I reassured. "Plus Pinkie and Fluttershy both don't have someone so you can hang out with them!"
"Actually Pinkie did find someone. But you're right Twilight. I'll hang out with Fluttershy and maybe ask someone to dance or wait to be asked. Thanks."

3rd Person's POV
The ball has started, more and more people were coming. Fluttershy and Rarity stood aside and were talking along with Pinkie and a guy they have never met before who was her date.
Soon Twilight and Sunset arrived. "Shall we go greet them first?" Twilight asked and Sunset replied, "sure!"
Few minutes later Applejack and Rainbow Dash came and joined them. They were all talking together for a while. Twilight felt bit uncomfortable.
Soon after Trixie approached. "Look who do we have here."
Rainbow Dash eyerolled. "We don't have time for whatever you are about to say now." Slow music started playing and everyone was starting to go to dance.
"Oh look, slow dance started! Bye!" Rainbow said as she pulled Applejack on the dance floor. Trixie was furious. Rarity and Fluttershy have also found someone to dance with.
"I'm having an amazing time!" Applejack said.
"Me too!" Rainbow smiled.
"Rainbow, I was wondering, would you maybe want to go out on another date after this one?"
"I would absolutely love to!"
And they smiled at each other and continued to slow dance, their bodies even closer than they were before.
"Hey wanna grab some air?" Twilight asked after dancing for some time.
"Sure!" Sunset said and they went on the balcony.
"It's so peaceful here."
"Yeah."
"Sunset, do you have a crush on me?"
"Obviously!" Sunset laughed.
"I do on you too. To be honest, I've had ever since we met."
"Me too! I was just kinda scared to ask you."
"You were scared to ask me? I was the one who was scared!"
"It just always seemed like you liked Rainbow too so I wasn't sure if you liked me as friends or romantically."
"I did like Rainbow too. Both of you honestly. But after tonight..." she thought to herself and then realized something, so she proceeded, "I don't think I can imagine myself with anyone else other than you!"
Sunset smiled. "I can't imagine being with anyone else either!" she said as she took Twilight's hands in hers. They were very close and both were now with faces only inches apart from each other.
They leaned in and kissed. Right there and then under the sky full of stars in peaceful silence with only sounds coming from nature and the small breeze that was up in the air.
The kiss lasted few moments before they broke apart and both blushed. "Would you want to be my girlfriend?" Sunset asked.
"YES! I would love to!" Twilight excitedly said.
They both stayed on the balcony watching outside and talking for a while.
Fluttershy and Rarity were talking. Suddenly Fluttershy noticed Discord in the corner. He seemed like he was in the rush to go somewhere. Their gazes met and his expression got sad as he quickly turned and left.
"Rarity, I think it's time we go." she said still looking after Discord.
"What? Why?"
"Trust me."
"Hey Applejack!" Twilight came to her. "Do you maybe know where Rainbow Dash is?"
"She went to the bathroom. Why? Did you two have an argument or something? She didn't want to tell me much about it."
"Yeaah, something like that" she said awkwardly.
Then Rarity, Pinkie and Fluttershy came in hurry.
"Get Rainbow and Sunset and we are going now!" Rarity quickly said.
"But it isn't midnight yet" Twilight pointed out.
"Just trust us on this" Fluttershy didn't explain.
The girls came to the edge of the Forbidden Forest.
"Oh I don't think this is a good idea" Fluttershy was worried.
"This is an awesome idea!" Rainbow added.
"Let's go!" Twilight was sure.
They have entered the forest and after wandering for a while they noticed some dangerous creature no girl was able to identify. They all kneeled down and waited.
"What do we do now?" Applejack whispered.
"We need to attack him. Someo---"
"Got it!" Rainbow said as she started running towards the creature.
"What in the world is wrong with that girl?" Applejack got angry and scared. She started running after Rainbow.
Rainbow Dash didn't manage to stop the creature and fell down. The creature went to attack her but Applejack quickly came. "Alarte Ascendare! " she said as creature was shot in the air.
When it fell it quickly ran away from them. Applejack turned to Rainbow and helped her get up. "Are you alright?"
"Yes, thanks to you!" Rainbow smiled and hugged her. The rest of the girls came.
"Are you crazy?" Twilight was angry. "It could have killed you!"
"I tried to help!"
Twilight sighed. "Let's all just stick together and have plans next time."
"Fine."
They continued to walk down the forest. After a while they finally came to the cave. It was locked and glowing was coming from inside of it. As they came closer, they noticed tons of Dementors around it.
"Oh no!" Twilight panicked quietly.
One of the Dementors went to attack them. "Expecto Patronum! " someone said and Dementor was defeated.
They all turned around to see Discord. "Fluttershy?" he asked.
There was a longer silence, everyone shocked. But then Fluttershy did something even more shocking.
"Expelliarmus! " she quickly and in panic yelled and Discord was disarmed. His wand fell to the floor and everyone looked shocked at Fluttershy.
She stayed shocked herself too before running to get Discord's wand which she managed to grab before him.
"Fluttershy, I thought we were friends."
"We are! But they are my friends too! I don't want you to hurt them."
"I didn't mean to--- you don't understand" he tried to explain. "Give me back my wand and let's get out of here. I'll explain everything!"
"No!" Twilight cut in. "We need to open the cave, it's Full Moon!"
"You don't know what happens in that cave during full Moon!"
"Well I am about to find out!"
"It's dangerous! We need to get out of here!" he sighed. "Give me the key and I'll solve it."
"Absolutely not!"
"Expelliarmus! "
And just like that Twilight was disarmed and the key fell to the floor. The look of pure shock crossed her face when she saw Sunset was the one who did it. Sunset without hesitation took the key and started leaving the forest back to Hogwarts. They all followed her out. They stopped when they saw Sunset.
"Sunset how could you?" Twilight said, hurt.
"I think you have a lot of explaining to do, Discord!" Sunset said angrily, ignoring what Twilight has just said.
