In present day Canterlot, there is a new King and Queen of Equestria. Both ponies were given the gift of art. Queen Treble Measure possesses the gift of painting with oil pastels, but her husband, King Piano Muse is true to his name. He loves music and can play its wondrous tunes on end without stopping. And you know wouldn't believe how beautiful it is.

Everyday in Canterlot, ponies ask him to play for their filly's birthday parties and even to sleep. But one day, he just had enough. Sure, King Piano Muse still loved the relaxing beauties of the pianic sound, but he was tired of all this constant attention that made him lie awake every night.

That night, Queen Treble Measure is very concerned for the fate of the her beloved husband. She wants to ask him what is wrong, but couldn't bring herself to do it. She sighs and turns over with her head on his body. The warmth reminds her of their love for each other, making her forget about everything until three hours later.

The fear made Queen Treble awake and look around the Royal bedchambers. It is 1:00 A. M. She looks outside and sees the dark sky. It doesn't help though. She sighs and crawls back into bed, but can't sleep one bit.

The image haunts her in her mind. Trying to forget it, she tumbles around until something happened that she didn't realise. Unaware of what is going on in her current emotional state, she reaches out to King Piano Muse.

"If I can't get over this depression easily, then I will have to act," she whispers to herself, "I'll have to love him before it's time to wake up."
