Rainbow groaned, her wing tips just dragging along the ground as she followed a happily prancing Twilight. "Why do I gotta do this again, Twi?" She already knew-she hadn't been able to attend every birth as close as some of them were, and now she had to go through a process to get her name on a bunch of birth certificates. She hadn't need to for her or Twilight's foals, both of them had gone into labor minutes within each other. She perked up a little, thinking of their girls, Twilight Glitter and Lucky Star.

Twilight had born Glitter, a pretty unicorn filly with a light version of her mother's mane, and her sire's coat. To Rainbow's extreme delight and pride, Lucky Star had been born a futa alicorn. A sweet filly with her sire's coat shade and curled hair with a riot of color. The two girls, more or less considered twins, rode between Twilight's wings, carefully raised slightly and fluffed to keep the happily cooing pair settled and warm. Rainbow trotted up to nuzzle them lovingly.

Twilight turned to look, smiling. "I know all the paperwork doesn't thrill you right now, but you'll get to see all your kids today," she promised, the pair sharing a quick nuzzle. The only one Rainbow was in an actual relationship with was Flutters, but she had an understanding with all the mothers, and enjoyed a closer, more intimate relationship with them all.

"I know..." she smiled, now trotting a bit more happily. Outside the town hall of Ponyville, where it was decided was the easiest for everyone to gather as most of the mothers lived there, sat Fluttershy, chatting with Rarity, the pair fresh from a spa day with their kids. Fluttershy's filly, a tiny thing with lanky limbs, was her exact copy, currently asleep under her wing as Fluttershy reclined on a bench. By her head on the ground sat Rarity, playing with her colt, an energetic pegasus with a coat a few shades darker than his mother and curling hair her exact shade. He was enjoying being tossed up very gently, buzzing his wings excitedly with every toss. Rarity looked a little tired-Rainbow made a mental note to let her have a night off.

She trotted up happily, catching Rarity and her's colt-Moonstone-in her front hooves. "Heya, little guy!" she nuzzled noses with him, before hoovering in the air just above the ground to his great delight. Rainbow looked over to Rarity, "Hey...you need a day to yourself? I'm free once we're done here," she offered.

Rarity looked at her with gratitude. "I do yes, darling- I love them both, but Sweetie Belle has gotten it into her head that she can be a big sister to Moonstone, and he loves it. The pair of them...much more chaos than the CMC combined!" she admitted, rubbing her head with a hoof.

"No worries, Rares, I'll wear him out before I take him home," she promised. She looked to Twilight, "Are we waitin' on anypony else or was it just us?"

"Just us, but Gilda's coming for the same thing in like...a week? She wasn't specific," she grumbled. She couldn't add a date to her schedule if she didn't have one!

Rainbow chuckled, before being called in to the town hall, getting busy with paper work with her son in one arm.

Twilight sighed, before looking to Rarity. "How's AJ doing?" "Ah, well...she's still...a little worried. Rocky Road was a...surprise, to say the least." Applejack had borne Rocky Road-a filly with her mother's orange coat, her father's hair but much more pastel...and her father's wings. That had been a shock-AJ was an earth pony, used to earth foals. She was terrified of hurting poor Rocky.

Twilight frowned, "Oh Applejack...maybe Rainbow needs to stay with her for a bit, reassure her and show her how to handle a pegafoal?" she suggested, rubbing her chin as she thought.

Fluttershy shifted her wings slightly, "Well, you can float the idea by them at the picnic?"

Twilight clapped her hooves together, "And almost everyone will be there this time! Luna and Chrysalis are still caring for the eggs, and Gilda's out of town." she sighed, but perked up. "Everyone else though! It'll be great!" she pranced in place excitedly, her friends giggling at her excitement.
