While he was walking he could see the beauty of the city, but what most caught his attention was the huge difference between genders, he rarely met other Stallions, most of whom he saw were all females, while they were walking through a kind of market he would approach Treasured.

"Hey Treasured, why i am seeing so little amout of Stallions compared to their female counterparts...?"

She would be surprised by the question, but she would remember his story and with a giggle she would answer

"Sorry, i forgot that you are not familiar with the capital, 3 out of 4 Stallions join the Royal guard, because of the recent disputes with the Gripphon empire and with going to stabilize the borders with the Crystal Empire, so not many Stallions are around here, of course there are Mares that are part of the Royal guard, but few are interested or have the physical capabilities for that, so the majority keep busy making this nation move, you know?"

He nodded his head as they continued to walk, before they could kept talking with each other, screams broke their conversation, when they looked at the sound of locomotion, they saw a Mare trying desperately to push something out of her purse, and looking away from the monster in front , he was terrifying, his feet had several holes and he was completely black, his body looked like natural armor, he had carnivorous jaws of a wolf, his eyes were completely blue, and his wings looked like insectoids, he should be a version humanized by an arthropod, without thinking twice, he launched himself into the possible act of aggression, leaving a Tresured behind in shock that soon after seeing what he was going to do she would begun screaming for his name.
Putting both feet together, he pushed for a huge jump, and with a somersault he kicked the Bug monster in front of him, throwing him away and making it fall on a hay cart, the Mare had fallen to the ground in surprise holding the bag, she looked at the Stallion who saved her while he looked back at her.

"Are you okay?"

He would ask as he helped her up, she was shaking a lot, tears were streaming down her face, but she managed to stay upright

"T-t-thank y-you, i-i t-t-tought he would hurt me..."

Meanwhile Treasured would run and stand next to them, clearly angry at Quantum

"What were you thinking?? That thing could have hurt you!"

Quantum ignored her outrage, seeing the creature rising from the hays and snarling in their direction, and then five other of those creatures appeared from the shadows.

"You two, run, i will hold them off"

They both looked at him with disbelief, and Treasure, her facial expression changed from anger to panic, and she hugged Quantum's arm, even though she had a pink tone to her cheeks

"Quantum! You can't be serious! Please don't do this!"

He just looked at her with a neutral eye, and sighed

"I am not asking! GO!"

Even though she was startled by the sudden outburst, she nodded and she and the other mare ran across the street, while Quantum stared at the insect creatures approaching him, looking up, he could see more of them approaching, flying towards him at full speed, with a sigh, he took his quantum blaster, and made a battle position, the creatures seeing this, roared and went after Eric who just remained static watching the great number of creatures flying in his direction, suddenly, he aimed the blaster and sprayed a lot of shots, knocking out the first ones that got too close, and shortly after spinning, he kicked the face in one that was flying towards him, holding a punch from another that was coming towards him and kneeling him in the stomach, knocking him out, but soon after taking a cut on his back, making him let out a groan of pain, and then immediately turning and punching him in the face, he then stopped or and shot in circles trying to create a distance between him and the monsters, but more and more came.
No matter how much he fired, no matter how many punches, kicks, knees, elbows, they kept coming, he was panting, while he was on guard, surrounded by what seemed like thousands of these things, he was then attacked from practically everywhere, their claws cut his clothes and his coat was completely destroyed by bites and scratches, in desperation, the predatory instinct started to take over him, and a sudden surge of energy surrounded him, and with a scream, followed by a huge wave of energy formed in the horn, the area around it was blown up, throwing everyone around it onto the walls of the houses and random items on the street, now they looked intimidated at Eric, who was standing up completely ignoring his injury's, and he spread his massive wings in a way that made him look bigger than he already was, and his sword-shaped blaster glowed, the insectoids moved away in fear , and with a roar he started to slaughter everything in his path.

(At the Canterlot wedding)
In the middle of the grand room where the wedding of the decade would take place, one pink Alicorn, the Princess of love, remained defeated, bruised and tired, standing defiantly injured and imprisoned, with her future husband, who remained in one military stance at her side, he had his eyes shining green, trapped in a spell, while the monarch of the Changelings, the one who managed to single handedly defeated Celestia and held Canterlot hostage, she kept a winning smile for the love princess while the Ruler of the sun remained stuck on the ceiling, unable to do anything, other than just watching the events unfold

"You are not gonna win this! Twillight and her friends will-"

Noises from the big doors opening interrupted the princess of love, and passing them, the Mane six appeared, being taken as prisoners to the Queen of Changelings, who when seeing the scene, gave a victorious smile, while turning to the Alicorn

"You were saying?"

She turned to Mane Six still keeping her smile

"You do realize the reception's been cancelled, don't you?"

She then raised her head to other Changelings in the room

"Go! Feed!"

Without hesitation, they quickly flew to the door, which closed immediately after them transpassing it with a green aura, under the magic of the Queen

Queen Chrysalis held Twillight's head mockingly while laughing

"It's funny, really. Twilight here was suspicious of my behavior all along, Too bad the rest of you were too caught up in your wedding planning to realize those suspicions were correct!"

She would say not letting off her triumphant smile as she flew towards the trapped princess, laughing, while Applejack walked towards Twillight, putting one of her hands on her shoulder

"Sorry, Twi. We should've listened to you."

She gave her friend a sincere smile before looking back at the queen angrily.

"It's not your fault. She fooled everypony."

While mantaining with her smile she walked towards a balcony

"Hmm, I did, didn't I?"

She immediately lost her smile when she was able to see a scene that surprised her from afar, where she hoped to see the invasion of her changelings and her first of several conquests she hoped for, she saw an Alicorn, his size could be compared even to Celestia, and his muscles were not bad...
he was holding a shining sword, surrounded by her children, he was visibly bruised, his top clothes were completely torn, and yet he was still cutting down one after another, but he was very tired, and she can seeing him fall to his knees and pass out, she didn't know how to react to it, she was frustrated, for this new problem for her plans and for hurting her children, however it peaked her interest, a male Alicorn, something that had never happened , and he was able to keep up against all odds, she then turned to one of the two Changelings who were on both sides of her protecting her.

"I Want that Stallion, bring him to me"

Both of them nooded, and speeded towards the comotion, while Chrysalis walked back towards the room to confront the newly freed Shinning Armor.
