In the room where the wedding would take place, the Mane six stood in their respective combat poses while the Quantum Ranger who was shielding a terrified Changeling, the queen gritted her teeth in hate.
She concentrated her magic on her horn , everyone prepared for an attack, but Thorax started to grunt while holding his head, he staggered up and put his hand on the ranger's shoulder, who looked at him confused but curious.

"Alicorn, she is calling the other Changelings! In a few minutes they will be all over us!"

he nodded and put one hand over his shoulder

"Thank you, you were a great help, now get to a safe distance! Now!"

Thorax looked at his hand on his shoulder, flushed, he nodded and ran away, Quantum turned to face the queen who now began to be surrounded by other Changelings, he then spoke to the six that proved to be enemies of his enemy, making them his friends, so he caught their attention without looking directly at them.

"You six take care of her cronnies, the queen is mine."

The colored haired woman immediately showed an irritated expression and protested

"You are insane?! You aren't planning taking the queen head on are you? She is stronger than Celestia!"

He would ignore her, and would run towards the clearly confident queen who with a roar did the same, her horn shined and a sword appeared in her hand, she seemed to be made of the same fabric that formed her body, Quantum then in the middle of the his charge, raised his Defender and while running pressed a button and made a jump, his Pistol in blade mode started to shine white and some small lightining come out of it,he then on his descent, he cut with his sword, forming a great white streak of energy, the Queen just smiled with it, and her sword glowed green, along with her horn, she reflected the energy and struck high on the Ranger, who defended himself at the last second by touching the ground, now the swords shaking both in contact while Chrysalis and Quantum faced each other, she let a small perverted smile while licking her mouth.

"I love pray that fights back~"

This found its mark, Eric gritted his teeth with the comment of his foe

"I am not an ordinary pray!"

He would kick her in the belly, she would make a grunt of pain, grabbing his leg and trying to throw him to the side, he would fly to the side, however he would roll by the floor and stop and making a pose, she would roar pointing her strange sword at Quantum, who it would glow and launch a jet of green fire, that flew in direction of him and causing a huge explosion right in impact with Quantum, causing a huge cloud of smoke to form, everyone in the room had noticed the crumbling floor, regaining their composure, the Mane Six and Changelings that stopped fighting right when they heard the loud boom, seeing the queen smiling at the cloud of smoke, she immediately lost her smile as the smoke was cut in half by the Quantum sword, showing him with few minor scratches, making the queen's eyes widen, only to receive a shot in the hand making her cry out in pain, she held her wrist that had now recived a red mark, she glowered at Quantum, in retaliation she cast a spell with her horn, releasing a green ray towards Quantum, who when failed to reflect the beam, had the blaster thrown from his hand, she then taking advantage of it, used her wings to gain one impulse and flew with enormous speed towards Quantum, who when looking back had no time to react, being hit with everything in the belly and falled on the ground in pain, being dragged for meters with the Changeling Queen on top of him laughing, he kicked the queen up with both of his feet, throwing her up, and rolling back and falling on his feet, and with a charge he retaliated with a barrage of punches, the Queen had trouble keeping up, despite being one of the most powerful Queens Changelings in existence, she was still being pushed back, and with one final uppercut he trew her far away, making her crash and break a wall as a result, panting and with many scratches on his body with a few cuts, he breathed in relief as the Mane Six came running in his direction.

"I can't belive it! You have actually gone toe to toe with her!"

Twillight commented with one hopefull smile.

"Not gonna lie, that was some power darling"

The Rarity agreed with her smilling, while the rest of her firnds kept barraging him with comments like this, he just let out a sigh, while holding part of his hurt chest with his left arm to try to ease the pain he was feeling.

"I hate to end the party, but i would never be defeated so easily."

A voice surprised them, as they looked at the air seeing one unharmed Chrysalis slowly flying to the ground, not holding her smile.

"I will not lie, I am impressed, you are still standing, even with the power of all the love of Shinning Armor, I was not able to eradicate you yet, but it is just a minor setback, you have no chance against me."

She hadn't noticed that Shinning Armor was already out of his trance because of Cadence, he was looking around confused

"W-wha- w-where am i...?"

he would notice the queen and the changelings in the room, and he would take a few steps back in surprise, the queen would notice this and laugh more.

"I was wondering why you were so quiet, but it doesn't matter! My Changelings are already walking freely around Cantelot! And there is nothing you can do!"

He would grit his teeth, he had failed in his service, frustrated he would try to do the spell to end the Changelings, he still had hope, but nothing happened, he tried again, concentrating all the strength he could on his horn, but again, nothing, he let out a sigh of defeat, and fell to his knees

"I-i d-don't have strength... my powers are useless...."

The pink Alicorn, quickly kneeled in front of him and hugged him, surprising him

"My love will give you strength!"

The queen burst out laughing looking at the deplorable state of her opponents

"What a lovely however ridiculous sentiment!"

Something about it seems to trigger a memory in Eric, remembering his childhood, when he was abandoned, when he had to fight alone to survive on the streets, when the people he loved the most discarded him without reason, he slowly took out his blaster on the floor, and stared at him, remembering how he got Quantum powers, how he fought to become head of the Silver Hills guardians, and how alone he achieved so much, he clenched his fist in hate, and the floor looked like started to shake with a red aura surrounding Eric, fire, it looked like he was burning, the Changelings that were proving to be fearless monsters, now hugged themselves or hid between the tables in the room, shaking like frightened dogs, the Mane Six were sharing the feeling, Fluttershy hid behind Rarity, while the others kept their serious expressions watching the scene unfold, except for Pinkie, she was loving the feeling of the shaking in her belly, her smile in such a situation scared as much as Eric's anger.

"Is not just ridiculous, is idiotic."

Everyone looked confused at the Ranger, even peeked the interest of the Changeling Queen, Eric slowly, looked at his blaster, before looking back at them

"Love is such a useless feeling, such an idiotic concept, so difficult to form, and so easy to destroy, you do not gain power from something as trivial as 'Love' but for your own merit!"

He continued, while more and more roaring with the canterlot voice without him noticing in his rant, the Mane six would be feeling bad about the Quantum revelations if they were not terrified by the anger he showed and the shaking ground, and more and more the queen was able to relate to the warrior not moving an inch even if surprised by the sudden burst, who now tapped the weapon lightly on himself to sympathize with his words.

"I alone survived, I alone learned, I alone, got a power that any of you could not even imagine! Using love as a form of power, it simply shows how weak you really are!"

he now did a battle pose with the Blaster while continuing

"Watch and learn! Something your "Love" WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO DO!"

He would press the button on his defender, making it go out of blade mode, and making it return to blaster mode, he would then it would point at Changeling, ignoring the her brow lift.

"QUANTUM BLASTER FULL POWER MODE!QUANTUM ECLIPSE!"

with that final roar that almost left those present in the room deaf, his Blaster would shine, and a massive ray of energy would be fired from it, with a strange aura that Eric hadn't noticed coming out of his horn and merging with Blaster's shot, with that, a large beam of red-orange energy flew towards Chrysalis who only noticed her huge mistake at the last moment, covering her face with her arms, and being completely engulfed by the huge wave of power coming from Eric, the back of the queen where before there was a huge balcony, there was now a massive hole formed by the aftermath of the shot, Quantum was panting, he didn’t know but he had used a lot of strength and a lot magic in this shot, and combining with all the effort he did in recent events, his head brgun spinning, his vision begin to blurry and with a light that engulfed his body, he was out of his Ranger form, unable to keep it, he would fall to the floor with a loud *tump* drifting out of conscious, not paying attention to the cries of concern from the Mares around him.

Sorry for the delay, i am pretty lazy and school kept me busy, usual stuff, sorry if the battle scenes are so bad, i am still practicing on them, i hope you enjoyed!
