Hewwo~! I'm back with my second fanfic~! <3 There are some things I want to disclaim though!
- I am STILL a bit behind on MLP, so sorry if I got some personalities or things wrong! '^^
- All the ponies in my fics are half-pony half-human, just putting that out there if your confused on why it says Pinkie dragged her "Feet" and not "Hooves" '^^
- I added the suicide/self-harm tag cause I'm not sure if Pinkie mentioning suicide counts or not '^^
Anyway, thats it~! Enjoy the story~! <3
Twilight's Surprise
Pinkie Pie frowned as she watched her friend, Twilight Sparkle, get completely emerged in her work. She frowned as Twilight ran her quill through the paper with impressive amounts of speed. She frowned as Twilight squinted her eyes at the paper, trying to get past her blurry vision. And she frowned as she glanced at the clock across the room, showing that Twilight had been at this for about 3 hours. Pinkie didn't mind Twilight's determination with her work, hell, sometimes she even admired it. It was a type of concentration Pinkie could never even hope to achieve. But the fact that Twilight hadn't lifted her eyes off her work for 3 hours straight worried Pinkie Pie, and every time Pinkie attempted to talk to Twilight she'd just say "Not now" or just straight up ignore her. Pinkie slowly closed the long towering double doors she was peaking through and slowly walked away, still frowning. Pinkie continued to drag her feet, frowning down onto the floor, until she heard a familiar voice.
"Pinkie Pie?" Rarity asked, a hint of worry in her voice. "Are you ok, dear...? I've never seen you with such a distressed face!". Pinkie quickly looked up to Rarity, slightly startled by the sudden mention of her name.
"O-Oh, I'm just hunky-dory, Rarity!" Pinkie said, smiling a forced smile. Rarity frowned, showing Pinkie that she didn't believe her sudden optimism. Pinkie sighed and looked away to the double doors she just came from. "W-Well..." she started "I'm just a bit worried about Twilight... Its been 3 hours now and she still hasn't stopped working! That's three hours without A SINGLE cupcake break!"
Rarity smiled at Pinkie's usual attitude showing. "I understand what you mean, Pinkie. To be honest... I-I'm a bit concerned for Twilight also." Rarity smiled sweetly "But if there's anypony who can get her to loosen up, it's you Pinkie!".
Pinkie Pie looked back to Rarity in surprise at the mention of her. "W-What do you mean?" Pinkie asked. Rarity smiled and giggled slightly "What I mean is... You should try making some activity that would give her a break from all her work! Something like... A mini party?"
"Or a surprise~!" Pinkie shouted, her enthusiasm suddenly coming back to her. Rarity smiled wider and nodded "Yes! A surprise! I'm sure anything you could think of would make Twilight have vast amounts of fun~!"
"Your right~!" Pinkie exclaimed, suddenly completely fine. "I'll make sure Twilight gets the best and most fun surprise~! Thanks, Rarity~!" Pinkie then zoomed off, bouncing up and down in excitement, already planning the surprise she'll give to Twilight.
"Now to the left~!" Pinkie exclaimed, her hands holding onto the blindfolded Twilight's shoulders.
"Pinkie, we've been walking for a while, we're almost there right...?" Twilight asked, wanting to get back to her work. Twilight of course always loved spending time with her friends, but the work she had now was very important. Because of that, she wasn't too pleased when Pinkie told her she had to show her something, and she became even less happy when she saw Pinkie was holding a blindfold.
"Yep~! We're so close~! All you have to do now is take a right and put your leg up~!" Pinkie said, giggling to herself. Twilight furrowed her brow, what could Pinkie be planning? And why did it require her lifting her leg up? Despite Twilight's confusion, she obeyed. Once she lift her leg up, she found she was stepping ontop of something.
"Now lift the other up~!" Pinkie said. Twilight obeyed, getting more confused and slightly uneasy.
"Noooow you can look~!" Pinkie exclaimed, ripping off Twilight's blindfold. Twilight looked around the room, it was just a normal room in her castle. There wasn't that Pinkie would prepare inside of it. Twilight scanned the room one more time, but she still couldn't find anything that looked like it'd be a surprise.
"Um... Pinkie?" Twilight started "Wheres the surprise?".
"You're on it, silly~!" Pinkie exclaimed. Before Twilight could respond, Pinkie kicked the stool Twilight was standing on top of. Twilight saw the stool fly across the room and presumed she'd just fall, but then she suddenly felt all the oxygen in her lungs leave her, and she couldn't get any back in. Twilight grabbed at her neck on instinct and felt a familiar material
Rope
There was rope tied around her neck
Pinkie was hanging her
Pinkie bounced in front of Twilight, ecstatic that her plan was working. "Do you like it, Twi?" Pinkie asked, smiling widely "I heard that some ponies, when very stressed out, do this and it makes them feel all better afterwards! I think the book I read about it called it... Suicide?"
Twilight thrashed around, desperately trying to get oxygen and failing miserably. Twilight hadn't been eating much due to all the work she had to complete, she had only been drinking water, so luckily she didn't defecate. The pain was getting unbearable, she needed air and she needed it now. Shes heard so many stories about ponies getting hanged, they all died so fast. So why was she dying so slowly? Why did it hurt so much?
Pinkie frowned slightly, watching her friend trash and desperately pull at the rope on her "Hm" she started "The book said you should be happy by now, but you still look so stressed" she then simply shrugged and smiled "Oh well! I didn't read the page completely, so maybe it said something about it taking longer for alicorns!"
Twilight's eyes widened. Right! She's an alicorn! She began flapping her wings, hoping that maybe if she flew upwards, she could stop the rope from choking her. She desperately flapped them as hard as she could, but no matter what, she couldn't muster enough strength to stay afloat. Each time she attempted, she flew upwards a bit, but then dropped back down. The rope pulling on her neck even more and making the pain grow.
Pinkie furrowed her brow at her friend's attempts to escape her faith "Twilight" she started, sounding slightly worried "Are you trying to escape your surprise? Do you not like it?" Pinkie then smiled a very sincere looking smile "Don't worry, it may be kinda weird at first but soon you'll feel amazing! The book said so!"
Everything began getting dimmer and dimmer for Twilight, and she knew what that meant.
"Finally..." She thought. Pinkie was right in a sense, now that it was almost over, she did feel amazing. Even though she was still feeling the excruciating pain, she was happy it'd end soon.
A few more moments passed, and Twilight stopped. She stopped the trashing, the loud gagging noises, the pulling on the rope. She stopped and just hanged there.
"Twilight?" Pinkie asked, confused by her friend's sudden silence and lack of movement. "Twi? You ok?" she said, poking her friend's leg. Pinkie furrowed her brow, she was beginning to get worried "Twilight, is this a prank? Your starting to scare me..."
Pinkie stared up at her hanging friend. Silence filled the room as she and Twilight both stood still, not saying a word.
Maybe Pinkie shouldve tried a different surprise...
