Not sure about this. but I found out that there are not many Yamato stories out there.

Chapter 1:What? Where Am I?

When the Yamato arrived, Equestria was two years ahead and now in a war with the Griffins

Yuto Woke in a major headache believing he drank so a lot of Sake. "Woah... Did I drink that much?" he said while clutching his head with his... claws? "What? What is this?" He asked himself. "Who did this to me? Did my fucking friends do this to me again?"

he tried to walk but fell over. "WHAT IS THIS?!?!" He yelled freaking out at the situation. He tried to walk again but couldn't. "Well Shit... if this is not a prank then..." he managed to run on all fours to a nearby mirror. the sight that he saw shocked him.

"W..W...What happened to me?" He asked himself.

This time he took notice that things were awfully quiet. "Where are the crew?" he went back towards the mirror and realized that he is in a captain's uniform. Now mentally freaking out he took it off as fast as he could.

"SHITSHITSHITSHITSHITWHYDOIHAVETHISON!?!?!" He panicked while taking his uniform off. he looked at the uniform and saw his name instead of his captains. he calmed down and went into thought.

"Why do I have a captain's uniform with my name? Why is the ship so quiet? WHY AM I A FREAKING uh... I don't know... I'm going to say Kirin thing for now.

(Note he is an Alicorn Krin mostly dragon then alicorn. think of it more of a dragon with alicorn features.)

now wondering around the ship to find any clue on where he is, and where the crew is at. first, he searched the canteen then went towards the bridge figuring he would find the crew.

While walking there he got to a hatch, he tried to open it with his hoof but realizing he does not have hands but claws. "oh... I don't have hands anymore..." He was too lazy to try open the hatch with his claws so he thought of grabbing the handle mentally and an aura surrounded the handle which caught Yuto off guard.

"I CAN DO MAGIC!" he shouted with excitement. but then stopped. "If this is magic... THINK OF ALL THE THINGS I CAN DO! I CAN USE THEM AS MY HANDS! USE SPELLS I DON'T EVEN KNOW! AND PROBABLY CHANGE BACK TO HUMAN!"

He stopped and calmed himself before continuing up the stairs into the bridge. opening the door he was expecting his crew and friends but no one... he was left stumped and thought deeper all he remembered was a whistle then black. that is when it hit him HARD.

"Fuck... I was killed by a bomb... great. I am probably in the afterlife, I think." he thought.

"But Hey at least I am alive??? I still don't know. I also surprised that this girl is still afloat and now probably captain of her"

Yuto went to check his fuel, Equipment, Powder bags, Shells, Ammo, Electronic system. He was happy about the fuel but did not realize that it has a lifetime of fuel.

He went back towards the bridge and started his journey to find at least a living specimen that is similar to him or completely different.

Meanwhile in Manehattan

The Wonderbolts are on routine scouting run for pirates or any suspicious ships on the water of the Celestial sea. Spitfire was leading and then Soarin, Fleetfoot and the rest of the Wonderbolts flew in an arrow formation scouting the Celestial sea.

"ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS?!?" Asked Spitfire.

"NOTHING HERE! Yelled Soarin.

Fleetfoot was about to say the same until she spots a HUGE HUGE SHIP.

"Uhh...G...Guys I..I Think I..I m..might of found a huge ship..." She said loud enough.

"How big?" Spitfire asked.

"A..A...About as b..b.bbig as Celestia's Tower..." Fleetfoot said worriedly.

"THERE IS NO SHIPS THAT BIG! THAT WERE MADE BY A GRIFFIN!" Yelled Soarin.

"T...Then Take a look..." She told and moved away so Soarin could see. once he saw it he locked up his wings for a bit and lost a bit of altitude, he regained his composure and flew back up and decided to shut up.

"We should report that to the Princesses asap," said Spitfire. all agree and RTB. "Return to base"

Canterlot.

Celestia Was sitting on her throne doing day court as the past thousand years. She was annoyed at the nobles now then back five hundred years. They either propose to them or asked for money and many annoying things. She had finished with a noble that was arguing for money.

Celestia sighed waiting for news from the front lines or something in between. Spitfire bolted in with a photo of the Yamato in its prime. panting she tried to speak.

"B..BIG *PANT* W..AR *PANT* S...SHIP *PANT*" She tried to say

"Calm down my little pony," Celestia says with her motherly voice. It took Spitfire a moment to calm down at least to a talkable point.

"Princess there is a big warship spotted 4 km's away from Manehattan." She said.

"How big of a warship?" Celestia asked.

"It's not your normal kind of warship princess..." Spitfire says while handing over the photo.

Celestia took the photos with her magic and looked at them. after looking at them she dropped them in shock.
"In all my living years I've never seen a warship that size and made from metal..."

"Princess? That ship does not look like a Griffin design..." Spitfire said.

"Yes, Yes it does not. They never made a ship that big ever, but I do know that they make metal ones." Celestia stated

"What do we do now?" Spitfire asked.

"I will get Shining Armour and the Guards to probably make contact with the ship." Celestia Told

"But what if things go wrong like the time when we encountered metal Griffin ships..." Spitfire shook at the thought of encountering another one of those warships.

"I don't know Captain but I have a feeling that something is on that ship and is wanting a peaceful encounter," Celestia said.

"Hopefully it won't return fire to my ponies... I've already lost too many..." Celestia Sighed.

Griffins are now scouting the Celestial Sea where the Yamato is located. They were in (1900's to early world war I) style warships. there were flying scouts just checking if the coast is clear but spotted the giant behemoth from far. they thought it was a small warship from that distance and decided to let the convoy of warship know about this threat.

"THERE IS A UNMARKED SHIP DOWN SOUTH!" Griffin one told.

"YEAH, I SEE IT! IT LOOKS LIKE AN EQUESTRIAN TRYING TO COPY OUR SHIPS!" Replied Griffin two.

"LET'S BRING THAT SHIP DOWN! GRIFFIN ENGINEERING IS BETTER!" Yelled the commanding Griffin.

They all return to their ship and discussed the strategies on how to take down a "Fake Griffin" Ship.

Meanwhile. Yuto spotted the convoy ship first with his bino's and radar. "Strange they have early 1900's Warships." I also saw the scouts returning to their ships. after a 20-30 minute pause, I saw them getting into a simple attack formation. "Do they really think that they could take a Yamato on?"

Around 20 thousand metre's I saw muzzle flashes from 6 ships. "Well shit... They gonna have a bad time." I thought as I turned the ship fully portside then electronically aim all nine 18.1" (460mm) Guns.

"Well, they are completely fucked..." I said as I pulled the firing trigger.
