Welcome Home Soldier

Sharp Shooter finally returns home after being stationed overseas for two years. Only problem is, no one really sees him as a hero, or anything positive for that matter. With no job or family, Sharp travels to Ponyville.

(Sharp returns home one year after Twilight arrived in Ponyville, before the Canterlot Invasion.)

Corporal Sharp Shooter, assigned to 4th company, 2nd platoon of the Equestrian Volunteer Peace Corps.

After 2 years overseas in Saddle Arabia, Sharp Shooter is finally returning home. Only, he does not get the greeting he was expecting..

The majority of Equestrian citizens are against sending troops to fight in some foreign war. While the Volunteer Peace Corps is only there to maintain peace and protect civilians, the ponies who joined up are looked at as villains.

With no one willing to give him a job, or some basic respect, Sharp decides to move, using his last bits to just find a new home. Ending up in Ponyville was supposed to give him a fresh start, but even here no one is willing to give him a chance. No one, except for an elderly mare.

Granny Smith offers Sharp a job, and a roof over his head, which he gladly accepts.

It is not everypony of the Apple household who is happy with it however....
