"Ah!"

The sound of heavy breathing follows the startled noise of awakening. Despite the darkness, the creature in question desperately looks around to find the object of it's fear to no success. It attempts to calm its breathing and places a rounded head into its hooves in an act of some sort of comfort.

Another nightmare, another day. That was all it could think in that moment. Every morning for the past week or so has been nothing but nightmare induced dreams. Some would be manageable but others were too much. It forces its way out of the bed it had grown accustomed to and grabs something from the nightstand beside it. It's thrown back and the liquid burns going down forcing the Pony more awake.

It slams the glass down before making its way to the the only source of light the room is provided. A quick turn of the hoof is enough to give the room a dim light. Enough to see most of the room and who the Pony is.

Once was once a mix of white and teal tail and mane has given way to nothing more than white. On top of the the fade of color from her mane and tail, her body also likes that sheer shine that it once held while traveling from time to time. For the most part, grime, dust, and sweat clings to the fur as if she hasn't washed herself in ages.

Which is most likely true. She can't remember the last time she decided to stop and take care of herself beyond the need to eat and sleep. After all, she had more important matters to take care of. With all of her magic, tricks, and ideas, she had a world to change.

She takes a deep breath and makes her way to what was once her magic tricks trunk. She pops it open to reveal a variety of potions, knives, strainers, and ingredients more associated to an assassin to a magician. She carefully pulls forth a belt of knives before casting a spell to turn her fur and hair from white and teal to that of gray and black.

Her target tonight was someone not as big of a contributor as she would like, but still has done enough to warrant her attention. Slave trading has truly become the norm in regards of Pony lives and that of other creatures that don't see them as a higher standard anymore. Nothing is completely wrong with that. It's always been a strong eat the weak ideology despite what some Ponies may think. But, what matters is not the slavery itself but who they have enslaved and what they plan to do with them.

Usually it never matters on who it is that gets captured just as long as the bits keep flowing. But, the some of bits payed in poultry to the information she received. This recent job turned out to be the largest hint towards her own mission she never thought she would get.

After turning out the light, she pushes the door open to step out into moonless night. At the very front of the carriage pulling it forward across the dirt road is one of her life long friends. She never thought the two of them would get along so well, but after studying under Zecora for so long to learn the ancient secrets locked away in her mind to be passed down, the two took up a profession that needed them both. Especially after one of her friends was taken from her.

"Applebloom, how are you doing?"

Said mare looks back and nods her head, a somber look upon her face. Despite the years gone by, she hadn't lost much of her charm. Same yellow fur and dulled apple blossom mane and tail. The biggest change had to come with how much she managed to bulk up. One would think she tried to take up after Bigmac the most instead of her sister.

"Trixie knows how much this mean to you, but do keep in mind we have another job to do here as well, Applebloom."

She merely snorts and turns her attention back to the road before her. Despite her lack of words, Trixie could easily tell what as eating her up on the inside. It was the same for her. This would be a game changer for everypony! Trixie was sure of it! Just as long as nothing went wrong and the information was correct, of course. Even if it wasn't, it would be good enough to rid this world of another menace for sure.
