Josh Lane and his best bro Alex Winter were sat on the couch in their apartment living room. They were drinking booze and eating nachos while watching TV. They soon went to sleep, not knowing of the blue glow and crackling thunder rapidly intensifying. Within moments, it was just darkness.
10 PM

One Day Before Nightmare's Return
"Spiiiiiike! Spike, where are you?" Twilight Sparkle yelled out, searching for the purple dragon.
"I'm fine, I'm fine." Spike said, walking over to the purple unicorn. "What's going on with the weather!?"
"I don't know! It isn't the pegasi, so what could it be!?"
A window cracked, and the wind picked it up and threw it everywhere.
"We have to get to the acres! They have a fallout shelter! Spike, hop on!" Spike hopped onto Twilight's back and she galloped out of the door, not bothering to shut it. She ran as fast as she could, with a small shield spell protecting her and Spike from debris. Up ahead they saw Applejack, struggling against the wind. "Applejack! Are you okay?" Twilight yelled out, rushing up to her and encasing her in her shield spell.
"Ah'm fine Twi. Come on, we need tah get to the farm!"
The trio rushed to the farm, when they heard a wince of pain from Applejack.
"Applejack, what's wrong?"
"Ah chipped mah hoof on a rock! Come on now, it's no problem!"
The two arrived in a matter of minutes, and ran into the fallout shelter, where Applebloom, Granny Smith and the rest of the Mane Six were hiding out.
"Twilight darling, are you alright?" Rarity asked, checking over her. "Your mane is so frizzled darling!"
"I'm fine. How are you girls holding up?"
"Not too good. Part of my cloud house was ripped off because of that freak storm! The pegasi can't control it!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.
*KZZZZZTTT*
"Eeep!" Fluttershy squeaked out while hiding in a corner.
*CRASH*
"What was that!?" Twilight yelled.
"Let's go check it out!" Rainbow said, flying out to check. Outside what they saw was incredible. A house was sitting there with smoke emitting from it. A few yards away lay a blue box which they failed to notice. They galloped up to the house to inspect it. The storm had passed.
"In Celestia's name..." Twilight had her jaw dropped in awe.
"How does a house just fall outta tha sky?" Applejack asked.
"Magic, my little ponies." Celestia was trotting out of a carriage with two guards by her side.
"Oh hello Princess. It's nice to see you again. But how?"
"Twilight Sparkle, this is not a work of the ponies."
"Then who? Zebras?"
"No... Humans..."
"What's ah hoo-man?" Applejack asked, failing to pronounce Human.
"Let me tell you a story, my little ponies. Around nine hundred years ago, one hundred after me and Luna were dumped on this planet (A/N: Ooh, maybe a story for another time :) ) there was a storm just like this one. It was loud and powerful, and it tore down villages, and it put a great dent in the Alicorn population. When the storm ended, there was a small shack left, with a creature with hair only on it's head that walked on two legs. Me and Luna befriended him. But years later, he died of old age. It surprises me this happens again. We should get some sleep. I will stay here to keep tabs on this building. Good night, my little ponies."
"Goodnight, Princess."

"Regeneration during transit. Never do that again. Now, let's see where we are... Hmm, standard planet life, trees, plants, roads... what's this? Horses? With wings!? Oh dear, I just realized something! I have hooves! I'm a horse! Haha! Brilliant! Now, let's take a look outside..." The Doctor trotted up to the door, and attempted to put the key in the lock. He couldn't because of his hooves. "Agh! Blasted stumps! I can't get the key in!"
*knock knock knock knock*
(Dun dun DUNNNN)
"Hello? Is anypony in there?" Derpy Hooves said, bashing on the door.
"Err, hello? I can't get the door open from this side! I'm going to slip the key under the door, can you open it?" The Doctor slipped the key under the door, and Derpy opened it with ease. She stood there, awestruck at the size of the TARDIS.
"It's... bigger on the inside..."
"Ah, I love that part! Let me introduce myself. I am the Doctor."
"Doctor Who?"
"Not important. And you are?"
"My name is Derpy Hooves!"
"Well that explains the eyes."
"What?"
"Err, nothing. Are there any special events coming up soon?"
"Well, there's the Summer Sun Celebration coming up. The Princess is going to be there!"
"Where is it held?"
"In Ponyville, it's about an hour away."
"Okay then Derpy Hooves, Allons-y!"
"What?"
7:45 PM

"We're lost, aren't we Derpy?"
"No, we're here."
"You said it would only take an hour. It's got to be 7:00 by now."
"Well here we are. Oh! The celebration is starting!"
The duo galloped up to Town Hall, and listened quietly.
"Mares and gentlecolts! I give you; Princess Celestia!" The curtain drew back, revealing nothing. Gasps erupted from the audience. Blue smoke twisted around on the stage, revealing Nightmare Moon.
"The night shall last forever! Hahahahaha!"
"DERPY! WE HAVE A PROBLEM!"

"Remind me WHY we slept in the shelter?" Dash asked, getting up.
"I don't know. Let's go see the Princess." They all trotted out of the shelter, to see the Princess conversing with two creatures.
"So, we're stuck here forever?" Josh asked, staring at the white Alicorn.
"Correct."
"And everyone here are ponies?"
"Yes. Oh look, the six are awake."
"Mornin' Princess. What the hay are you two?" Applejack asked, staring at the two oddly.
"Humans." Alex asked. (Let's call him Winter for now on.)
"Humans look disgusting." Dash said, sticking her tounge out.
"That's speciest."
"Alex and Josh, I need you two to come to Canterlot with me."
"Why?" they both said.
"You'll find out."
