Chapter 1: first day of school, first friends
In a train there was a teenage earth pony with fangs, purple skin, yellow mane and eyes, called "Fast Tap", Fast was on his way to Ponyville, going to the friendship school, it was the first day of school and the opening day, he goes Very excited, he couldn’t wait to arrive, when the train stopped there, he left with emotion from the train and the first thing he saw was the headmare, twilight sparkle, who greeted her friendly, she was waiting for him at the station.
"uh, twilight, are you the headmare?" Fast asks a little shy.
"Yes, I also wait for you to show you the school, this place is very new for you..."-Twilight answers with a smile face, but Fast didnt had one, so adds-"I know it was difficult to leave your life behind, but truthfully here, you would have a better time."
After that little conversation, they both went on their way to school, and when they arrived, fast was surprised at how big, colorful, and impressive it was, and it was close to the princess's castle (it was also her house).
"Wait here, just for the bell to ring, meanwhile, other students are coming, try to make friends" said Twilight and then closed the door.
Fast as a good pony listened to her and more and more ponies and other creatures arrived, only Fast waited sitting at the door on the right side for a long time, until a while, a blue griffin also sits at the door in the left side, there, Fast remembered the words of twilight and decided to start a conversation with him.
"Hi!" -Fast said extending his hoove to the griffin, but the griffin just looks a little impressed and look to the other side- "Come on, don't leave me waiting, it's not bad to say hello to someone."
The griffin thinks for a while, sighs, turns his head and takes Fast's hoove, shakes it and then quickly releases it, and turns back to look the other side, with just that, Fast was happy, he had taken his first step in making a friendship: say hello; suddenly, the bell rang, and Fast and the griffin stand up, they are pushed back a little by the others, but they were still close to the door, well, just the griffin, but Fast was left a little behind, but he could still see the griffin and the griffin could see him, and everyone at the door placed in position looking at it, ready to go.

"Welcome to the school of friendship!" Twilight said, welcoming everyone,"Please follow guidance counselor Starlight to get your class assignments, then we can show you your living quarters!"
He went quickly to starlight to be the first in sign in, when his turn come:
"Name: Fast Tap, and I'm very excited to assist in this school."Fast said with more energy than ever.
"Wow!, you are ready for these classes, you had to have been very excited when they announced the inauguration of it." Starlight said surprised.
"That I would like to say... I had to sacrifice my past, to live a better future." Fast said with a reflexing actitude.
After that phrase little philosophical, Fast just had to wait for classes to start, just walk a little, until suddenly not paying attention to where he was going, he crashes with a hippogriff.
"I'm sorry, I didn't notice where I was going..."Fast said.
"Nah, don't worry, I didn't either" the hippogriff repond and both giggles.
"my name is Fast Tap" said Fast ready with his hoove extended.
"Silverstream, nice to meet you." said the hippogriff while giving to Fast a hug.
"Wow! What was the hug for?" Fast said.
"I only like to give hugs." said Silverstream smiling.
Our pony had already made 2 friends and is already chatting with one and he is liking the hippogriff the more they talk, after a talk about hippogriffs and friendship, they say goodbye and promise to see each other again, after a while, Fast saw that Silverstream was meeting more ponies and other creatures, and Fast decided to do the same, walking around the place until he found someone nice who Fast would like to meet at first sight, but doesn’t achieve so much, only managed to help a yak get up 3 times in a row, say hello to a dragon, identify a changeling in the crowd and find a place where it's not easy to identify it; and nothing else and, yep actually took a long time, it had been a while and he just waited for classes to come into session, until the time came, before it started...
"Thank you so much for supporting the grand opening of our school! I hope you’ll all join us for friends and family day to see the amazing progress your students are making." Twilight announced
That day of friends and family was in 4 days, Fast, prepared for everything and very excited, he set out to make the best possible friends.
And so the classes are already in session, the bell rang of his first class, Fast came to it at the speed of light, every time the classes passed, he keep noticing something in the teachers, they teach in a slightly boring way, they learned things yes, but they don't give it enough care, in fact, at the end of the class, the teachers were a bit bored, the only one who gave their class dedication was Twilight and yep, she was also a teacher, that day was class by class , a little difficult to find a time where you could rest, but that was understood, it was to meet the teachers and what will learn with them, already ringing the bell that indicates that the classes of the day ended, it was time to see the living quarters.
When Fast opened the door of his living quarter he was excited, it was in summary a 2-floor bed, a bedside table and a window with a beautiful view, the 2-floor bed was the signal that he will have a roommate, Fast flips towards the door and he wait for his companion who he was, an earth pony, called Sandbar, Sandbar was a calm and determined pony, Fast like his roommate, both of them already knew the students who were other creatures, in fact Sandbar was lucky that they were his companions, Fast was proud of him, and he went to sleep with the hope of another day.
It was the dawn of another day and Fast went quickly to his class, and that the classes of the first day were nothing compared to the second, the teachers gave their best to learn and have fun with the students, it was awesome and they were essential, the best thing was that there was a break and there Fast take to see his bird friend Silverstream, he find her talking with her friends, which were 5, some of them already knew him, like, for example: Gallus, and Sandbar, and remember what he did Fast on the first day after talking to Silverstream? Well, apparently they were the other friends of Silverstream who recently met Fast really and they learned their names, the dragon is called Smolder, the Yak is called Yona and the changeling, Ocellus.
With "fairy" classes, and having Fast tap in total 6 friends, it seemed that things couldn’t go wrong… until the third day of school arrived, Fast hoped that it was almost as if it was taken out of a fairy tale, pitifully, that was not the case, Fast was enjoying pinkie pie's class, just to throw himself into the party cannon when the headmare twilight entered class and with her magic everything returned to normal as if it were the first day ,that made him want to break the table with his head, and it was to say, “what just happened?” Fast saw that the headmare was saying something to the pink teacher and it seems as they were talking something about a book that must be followed, from that everything got awful, the classes became SUPER boring, and the worst thing is that in the recess, Fast didn't get to meet his friends.
The bell rang finally and Fast, went to his living quarter to do the homework, which was already much left by Twilight, he spent 3 hours doing homework, and from there, he hears that the door opens, it was Sandbar, he told him that he was in the library doing homework with his friends, which was much bigger, he also told him that Silverstream sends to Fast greetings and she and Fast meet after tomorrow's classes, in the schoolyard, as soon as he said that, he went to sleep, hence Fast knew that he had to do things tomorrow, he had to find out which book the director was following, and go to the schoolyard after school.
On the fourth day, nothing to highlight in the classes, Fast didn't get to discover anything about the book, and when the classes ended, Fast went to the schoolyard to talk with Silverstream trying have a relaxed face.
"and how was the classes?" Fast ask to Silverstream trying have a relaxing actitude.
"Awful."Silverstream answered sad.
"Me too." Fast said with head down.

"Someone should stop this madness?" Silverstream said worried.

From there, our 2 friends talked and got to know each other better, in a moment, Fast looks at Silverstream's neck and sees a necklace that had a few light blue pearls on the sides and a pink one in the center, of a strange appearance.
"Silverstream, cute necklace." Fast says and starts a new conversation.
"Thanks, it's very special for me, and all the hippogriffs have one!" Silverstream said happily.
"Will it be for something symbolic?" Fast asked.
"No, it's something very special, I will show you this weekend, I promise." Silverstream answered.
After the talk, and already going to the living quarters, Fast knew what to do, he went to the living quarter of Gallus, knocked on the door and talked with him, then Gallus open the door.
"Oh, it's you" says Gallus anoyed and starts closing the door slowly.
"Gallus, I know you had a bad day at School and I want to propose something,"-says Fast and Gallus stops and opens completely the door-"I have to admit, the school is making us suffer, why not pause all of that and... skip class tomorrow?" Fast says whispering the last part.
"It seems very risky, but very logical." Gallus said.
"Come on, I think Smolder would love the idea too, in fact, you come back to friends and family time, and it will be as nothing happened." Fast said conviced on what was talking.
"You convinced me, it's a good idea, thanks Fast!" Gallus said with a serious face.
"You're welcome!" Fast said cheerfully.
Fast tap walking quietly to his living quarter finds with twilight who quickly reaches the hallways.
"Fast tap! I just wanted to talk to you!" Twilight said exited.
"What do you need princess and headmare?" Fast asked.
"I wanted to give you this,"-Twilight said and shows to Fast a book, it's the copy of the book she had when the third day happened-"I used this book to rule the school, I decided to give it to you, because I am very impressed with your progress, well done homework and several friends made, you deserve it."
"Thank you Twilight!" Fast said receiving the book and goes quickly to his living quarter
When he reached it, he lit a candle that was on the nightstand, and he began to read, the book, the first thing he noticed was has letters in one order “EEA”, this book had boring and quite discriminating laws to other creatures by the way mentions “ponies” every 5 lines, in the end it had a message from twilight about tomorrow:

After a few minutes, the bell rang and it was time for friends and family, and everything went well, more or less, but it could be worse what he could see on his position were students, teachers and creatures likely as his friends but look like were authority, Fast went outside where everyone was, just waiting for his friends, it take a while , but his friends finally arrived, but they got a unexpecting surprise, he had calculated everything Fast, but he never calculated something that turned upside down the cake, Fast didn’t understand why but Ocellus didn’t arrive as his normal form, but as a flying giant creature , and from there everything went headlong into a catastrophic madness, until finished with a part of the school, falling debris, Fast had seen everything in the same position, losing happiness more and more, just seeing what happened and when all that was over, what a mess!, the students were not happy and the inspector was already complaining aggressively to Twilight about what happened and much more, Fast said goodbye to his friends from afar.
Heading to the entrance door to the school, remembering all those moments he had:
Remembering those things, he only saw in the background all his friends were leaving, he cried like never before and the school closed with a big and magical seal on the door….
Only a few hours passed and everything looked lost, Twilight accepted Fast in her castle, but the face of both didn't change, they lost something very valuable, they knew it was more than a school, Twilight cried nonstop in her room, while Fast's face was stick to the table in the center of the place, suddenly, someone knocked on the door, Fast opened the door and was Sandbar, who accompanied him in sadness, returning to the table...
"what a bad day I just did!" Fast said to himself
"Huh?" Sandbar asked
"Sandbar," Fast said, "I was the one who convinced Gallus to skip classes and talk calmly, but only..."
"Don't worry Fast, I know it wasn't your intention to end in disaster."Sandbar said trying to calm Fast
"But tell me, what I can do, I can't even say sorry, I can't do something, it's over..." Fast said very sad
When Spike suddenly enters the scene, Spike was Twilight's dragon assistant, he was coming with a wooden box.
"Fast, Twilight told me to give you this box, maybe it might interest you." Spike said giving to Fast that box
There was a big cry of Twilight, and Spike left the room where he entered, Fast inspecting the box keeping his face sad, he discovers that there is something written underneath, a legend that told about a pony who lost everything and his artifact is in that box, which had unique powers, and only someone who was a true best friend could open it, Sandbar convinced him to make an attempt, Fast made a miserable one and managed to open it, by opening it several particles of magic came out being in groups giving forms of essence odor, both saw at the same time that it was that artifact, it was a necklace very similar to Silverstream’s, the only difference that was that it only had a pearl in the center on a yellow color.
"What is this?" Fast said and takes it by the gem or pearl

Ocellus thinks and acknowledges and hugs Fast "Fast tap! I'm glad to see you! But how ...?"

After that Fast transforms into a griffin, next stop: Griffinstone.
Fast was expecting a beautiful and well-protected faucet village, unfortunately that was not the case, griffinstone was a place where nobody even wanted to know the life of another, and they hated each other, Fast took a while to find Gallus, but he got it, Gallus recognized him at first sight, but Gallus didn't want to hear from him, because of the disaster that had happened.
"Are you ok Gallus?" Fast says a little scared
"Don’t talk to me!" Gallus yells
Fast sighs deep "look, I'm sorry, I didn't want all this ended with the school closed, we separated, or now I have to fix my mistake fo..."

Chapter 5: 2 friends, few hours and lots of noise

"Wooo! we did it Fast!"-Smolder celebrates, but was just looking how the sun was hiding-"Fast?"
"The sun is going down and there is no time to go for Silverstream." Fast says worried
Smolder grabs Fast shoulder and says "go for her."
Fast says so quick "But I can't leave you like this, nor don’t you know where we will be…."
A burp interrupted Fast and from that burp a text came out of that Fast read aloud:
“Fast good news, I found the perfect and close hiding place, the castle of the 2 sisters is in the middle of the forest, the castle seems in ruins, but it is habitable, oh, and I also discovered how to send messages; It is already getting dark, Yona and Gallus arrived so far, I hope you come with the others”

When Fast arrived, he look for the moment she will be alone to approach her and talk.
"Hiya Silverstream." Fast says in a tiny voice
"Huh? a ladybug that has the voice of my friend Fast?" Silverstream ask herself
"not exactly..." Fast says and transforms into a pony
Silverstream yells in exitement "Fast Tap! I'm gla……!"
Fast cover her mouth quickly and says quietly "I know, but we don't have to make noise, I hear you want to go out, I've come to help you, but if we want to escape, we have to work together, do you know a place that takes us to the sea from here? it is the most convenient way out."
"I know where there are, but we have to pass the guards." Silverstreams says
"We will do it together-" Fast says
But both says at the same time "-as friends."
They both sneaked off to where Silverstream mentioned, mocking the guards, until they reached a door that led to a forest in which was guarded by hippogriff guards, Fast threw a rock that fell away from the entrance, which made the guards go to investigate there, which left the entrance enough time to enter.
From there, Silverstream looked for a river where it led to a fall towards the sea, they followed it and just when they found the exit they heard a voice coming from afar and it seemed that it was from Silverstream's familiar.
"Halt!" Yells that familiar
Both had to jump and fall into the water, but Silverstream was afraid.
"Scared too?" Fast asks with a little fear
"Yes, we can get hurt or worse, we could…." Silverstream says in fear

Prologue: the legend of the transforming artifact
