Dreadnought

"All right, so where can we find these villains?" Rainbow Dash asked, eager to get into the action.

"The Emperor has built a Dreadnought," said the Wind Crystal. "That's a giant airship designed to attack towns."

"Oh my," said Fluttershy.

"Fortunately, there exists a simple way to destroy the Dreadnought," said the Wind Crystal. "You must go to Kashuan Keep and obtain the Sunfire, which you must then put into the Dreadnought's engine. Deep within Kashuan Keep is the Torch of Egil, which can be used to carry it."

"Egil?" said Sunset. "Like, from Xenoblade Chronicles?"

"No, the Egils in this world are different from those you speak of. And Sunset, while it was the Fire Crystal and not I that selected you, I shall grant you a Pony Up form for this world." A bright light shone from the crystal onto Sunset. "Now, try ponying up."

Sunset transformed into a form with pony ears, ethereal yellow wings, a unicorn horn on her forehead, and, instead of a hair extension, an actual pony tail.

"Awesome!" said Rainbow Dash. "Now we can fly wherever we want! We don't even need an airship."

"This Emperor sounds an awful lot like the Storm King," said Silverstream.

"In which case he'll be no match for us!" said Rainbow Dash. "Point us in the direction of Kashuan Keep!"

"East from here across the water," said the Wind Crystal. "Good luck."

Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Sunset, and Silverstream walked out of the cave, entering a forest. They flew up above the trees.

"Uh, which way is east?" Rainbow asked.

"Check your World Map," came the Wind Crystal's voice.

Sunset saw she was wearing some sort of watch. She pressed a button and a holographic screen came up, showing the world map. There were four arrow icons. One light blue, one yellow, one a light pinkish purple, and one red. She assumed Fluttershy was the yellow one and she was the red one. Her icon was pointing north. Sunset pointed in the direction she was facing. "This way's north, so that way's east." They started flying to the east.

"I wonder if we'll see any fancy stairs in this new world?" said Silverstream.

"Huh?" said Sunset.

"Ah, don't worry," said Rainbow Dash with a shrug. "That's kinda Silverstream's thing!"

On the southeast section of the continent, the Dreadnought rose into the air. Standing in the cockpit, Borghen pressed a button, and the Emperor appeared on a screen.

"Dreadnought is airborne, Your Majesty!" said Borghen. "So, what is your next command?"

"Hmmm... Attack Altair."

"Yes, Your Grace!"

The Emperor disappeared, and Borghen turned towards the Dreadnought pilots. "To Altair!" he said.

Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Sunset, and Silverstream reached Kashuan Keep and entered. They saw a flame burning in the center of the room and walked over to it.

"This must be the Sunfire," said Sunset.

"Then let's take it and destroy the airship before it can destroy anything," said Silverstream.

"We'll need the Torch of Eagle first," said Fluttershy.

"Egil," said Sunset.

A man with blonde hair in a ponytail came out through a door. "Who are you?" he asked.

"We're the Warriors of Light," said Rainbow Dash. "We're here to get the Sunfire and destroy the Dreadnought."

"Warriors of Light? Destroy the Dreadnought? What a relief! We really need you. My name is Gordon. I'm the prince of Kashuan Keep, but I'm a coward. There are too many monsters in the dungeons and I can't defeat them."

"Are any of them dragons?" Fluttershy asked.

"No."

Fluttershy sighed in relief. "Then my Stare will work on them."

"Stare? What?"

"It's one of her special techniques," said Rainbow Dash.

"So the Torch of Egil is in there?" Sunset asked.

"Yes," said Gordon.

"Then let's go get it!" said Rainbow Dash.

They entered the Kashuan Keep dungeons. Monsters attacked them, but Rainbow Dash and Silverstream fought them in close combat, Sunset blasted them with her unicorn horn, and Fluttershy gave some of them the Stare, causing them to retreat. Often when defeated monsters would drop coins, which Sunset picked up, figuring they would be important and used to buy stuff.

Eventually they reached the final room with the treasure chest.

"That must be it," said Rainbow Dash, and she flew towards the chest, but Red Soul appeared and blocked her path. She fell on her back. "Hey, what's the big idea?"

"It must be guarding the chest," said Sunset.

"Those who dare defy the Emperor will be destroyed!" said Red Soul.

Rainbow Dash kicked Red Soul, sending it flying slightly back. It shot a blast of flame at Rainbow, who flew out of its way. She flew circles around Red Soul, causing it to get dizzy. Then she tackled it into a wall as hard as she could, cracking the wall behind it. Sunset then shot a magic beam at it, hitting it directly. Red Soul fell to the ground and faded away.

Rainbow opened the chest. "This must be the Torch of Egil," she said, holding up a torch.

"I'll carry that for you," said Fluttershy. She wrapped her tail around the torch to carry it as they made their way back to the first room.

"That's it!" said Gordon. "That's the Torch of Egil! Now you can destroy the Dreadnought!"

Fluttershy dipped the Torch of Egil into the Sunfire, lighting the torch.

"Now let's find the Dreadnought and blow it away!" said Rainbow Dash.

"I saw it heading west," said Gordon. "I think it's attacking Altair!"

The four Warriors of Light immediately exited Kashuan Keep and took off.

"I hope it doesn't rain before we find the Dreadnought," said Sunset.

"I'll keep the skies clear if I have to," said Rainbow Dash.

It wasn't long before they found the Dreadnought, flying high above the ground and nearing the town of Altair. They found a window and flew into it. Imperial soldiers attacked them, but they beat them up as they made their way through, and eventually found the engine room.

"Now all we have to do is put the Sunfire in the engine and the airship will explode!" said Silverstream.

"I can't let you do that!" came a voice. Borghen stepped into the room.

"Who are you?" Rainbow asked.

"I am General Borghen of the Emperor's army! It was I who built the Dreadnought for him! I'll be executed for letting you get the Sunfire, but if I can defeat you now, the Emperor will forgive me! He might even promote me! He'll..."

Rainbow Dash kicked Borghen, sending him crashing through the Dreadnought wall and sending him falling to his doom.

"Whoa," said Rainbow Dash. "Compared to that evil spirit thing, this guy was a wimp."

Still holding the Torch of Egil with her tail, Fluttershy dipped it into the engine so that the Sunfire entered it. The engine's Sunfire flared up and the Dreadnought started shaking, while red lights flashed inside it.

"That did it," said Sunset.

"Now let's get out of here before it explodes!" said Silverstream.

They flew out through the Borghen-shaped hole in the Dreadnought. Moments later, the Dreadnought exploded in a huge ball of flame.

"That's it for the Dreadnought," said Rainbow Dash. "So what now?"

"Let's return to the Wind Crystal and see where we should go next," said Sunset.

"You're sure of this?" said Sephiroth.

"Altair should have been bombarded by now," said the Emperor. "And I cannot get in contact with Borghen. The only explanation is that the Dreadnought has been destroyed."

"That sucks!" said Kefka. "Who in my name could've done that?"

Sephiroth glared at him. He envisioned himself as becoming the most powerful god, a legendary one-winged angel, for he already had the power to manifest a dark angelic wing.

"I heard whispers from the trees on my side," said Exdeath. "There are rumors that the Crystals found four Warriors of Light."

"Not Warriors of Light!" Kefka exclaimed. "We gotta destroy them! Pow! Pow!"

"Indeed we must," said Sephiroth.

"Who are these Warriors of Light?" asked the Emperor.
