"Hunter! You've got a letter from your pin pal!" Yells Hunters mother from the kitchen.
At his mothers words Hunter puases his game, and runs to the kitchen.

"Hey mom you said I got a letter?"

"Yea your little freind wrote you again." She says handing him the rolled up paper.

"I still wonder how she gets it to you like this?" His mother looks at the rolled paper in wonder.

"She says that its magic that her teacher taught her." Hunter says about to head back to his room.

"Hey. You forget something?"

Hunter looks at his mother with an eye brow raised.

"I don't think so?" Hunters mother turns her head and points to her cheek leaning down.

"Oh yea. Love you." Hunter says running to his mother giving her a kiss on the cheek before running back to his room. Once back in his room he jumps onto the bed and opens the letter.
~Dear Hunter,
Happy birthday Hunter! I'm so glad to get your letter about you passing your test and I hope you had a great birthday, and got what you wanted. Im sorry I wasn't able to attend but princess says she wishes you a happy birthday and would love to meet you one day. Well I gotta go magic dosent practice its self.

Hunter smiles at his friends letter, he always thought it was weird that she called herself that and talked about a princess and magic but he let it go seeing as they were both only ten and played it off as her imagination. He heads to his desk grabing paper and a pencil to write his friend.

~Dear Twilight,
Thank you for the letter, and I had a great birthday i got my first dirtbike and a new game as well as a few other things, but those where the big ones and its ok that you couldn't make it you got your own things to do and I hope we get to meet one day aswell I'll write again later.

Your freind Hunter.~

After writing his letter and sealing it he placed a weird seal on it that twilight sent him saying that they would help the letter get to her, he didn't understand how but he did so any way after placing the letter into his mail box he went back to his room to continue his game. Unbeknownst to him the letter turned to purple smoke going off into the sky back to Twilight. The two kept contact for 8 years until Hunter stopped writing her.

9 years later

Hunter was standing in the heavy rain with his head hung low with a birthday card clenched in his hands. He had no emotion to show as he stood there in the rain he hadn't wrote Twilight for two years since the night that changed his life forever. She wrote him almost everyday but he never responded.

"I'm sorry I wasnt there sooner mom." Hunter says still staring at the ground.
He starts to tear up as he remembers that night, it was like anyother night he was coming home from his freinds house for his birthday party with his mom as he pulled up to the house he noticed the window to the door was busted and the door open slightly. Thinking the worst he grabbed his 45 he kept in the truck for snakes while he was in the feild and heading for the door. As he opened the door more Hunter aimed his 45 around the living room until he heard a voice down the hall as he got closer he found it to be coming from his moms room as he peers inside he sees a silhouette standing over something on the ground. Hunter kicks in the door making the person turn around the light from the hall filter into the room showing his moms body on the ground and the robber with a knife. Hunter didn't hesitate he put three into his chest dropping the robber Hunter ran to his mom tears in his eyes as he try to wake her up but she was already gone. The police came and took hunter outside to one of the cars and put him into it he didn't say anything. When they got to the station he gave them his side of the story and they kept him until the investigation into his mothers murder showed he didn't have a hand in it when they released him he didn't go back inside the house just got in his truck I drove. He wrote his friend what had happened and never wrote her again.

"If I had just stayed home that night maybe this never would have happened, and you would still be here." Hunter drops to his knees in front of his mothers grave and cried.

"I was only 17 why did he have to take you away from me." As the rain got worse Hunter heard the sound of someone coming up behind him, but payed them no attention as he sat there.

"Hunter?" Asked the unknown person.

He didn't look at her noticing it was female from the voice.

"Yea who wants to know?" He practically spat his dull voice making the person stop in their tracks.

"I... its me Twilight." She finally says making Hunters breath catch in his throat. As he slowly turns his head to the figure he finds a girl standing there with an umbrella at least he thought she was a normal girl until he saw her face slightly equin with ears like a horse and a small muzzle as he trails down her body he notices that she is indeed female when he got to her chest going further down and noticing a tail and holes at the ends of her legs. She was wearing black jeans and a dark purple blouse with a black jacket over it her mane was a dark purple with a lighter purple and pink strip going through it. She had a horn on her head aswell as a pair of wings on her back.

"What are you?" Hunter asks his hand slightly twitching to his 45 but he stops himself not wanting to hurt her.

"Like I told you in our letters I'm a pony."

"There's no way it has to be a costume."

He says looking away from her back to the headstone.

"Its not a costume Hunter I'm actually an allicorn pony well when we lasted talked I was a unicorn but thats not why I'm here."

"Then why are you here." He says standing up.

"I was worried I thought that after you didn't respond you had done something to kill yourself or gotten into trouble I had to find you."

"Well you found me, now go away." He says walking back to his truck. Before he could get very far he felt something stop him by the wrist. He looks down noticing a lavander glow around his wrist looking back to twilight he notices her horn is glowing the same lavander glow. His eyes start to grow wide at that.

"Everything you said was true then magic, equestria, the princess's all your friends everything?!" He almost yells.

"Yes it is." She says looking to the ground letting the glow dissipate.

"Why now." He says getting closer to her.

"I was worried I though that you had killed yourself or gotten arrested, I had to be sure you were ok." She says finally looking at him again noticing he was standing in front of her.

"So you got your spell figured out?" He says softley.

"Y... yes."

"Could you take me back and some of my stuff?"

She looks at him like he had just slapped her.

"You want to go back with me!" She yells.

"What about your friends and the rest of your family?"

"She was the only family I had left never knew my dad, and my friends weren't really friends they ditched me after they heard what happened." He says adding venom to his words with that last bit.

"Ar... are you sure wouldnt you miss your world?"

"There's nothing left for me here and I don't want to be reminded everyday about how crazy the world is."

" I guess I could if your sure about this."

"I am, I'm not gonna lie to you I might not have survived till next year with how it is here whether it was from my own doing or from someone I was drunk enough to fight I was going down that path, and I want to leave it behind."

"I guess I could but maybe we should get out of this rain for now."

"Follow me." Hunter says as he walks back to his truck, once they got there Twilight stops to look at the contraption that hunter was walking to.

"What is this thing?" She asks as hunter stops by the side of it.

"Its nothing much just a 2008 dodge Cummins turbo diesel." Hunter says opening a door.

"This is interesting she says walking up to him."

"Yea she's got me through some crazy weather hop on in and ill take you back to my place."

Twilight looks to hunter unsure but he just nods his head taking her hand and helping her up into the dodge. As hunter goes to the other side he stops and looks back to the head stone saying one final good bye.

"I'm sorry mom and I love you i only hope that you look over me as I go on to a new life." With that he getts in starting the truck and driving away.

Yup new storie yes I'm still working on the other two just wasn't sure what to do with them and decided to start this one as well tell me what you think so far sorry it started the way it did but it is what it is
