Equestria Chronicles: Kids of Eupora
It was midnight, and by no means was it a quiet night, in a concentration camp, the sirens were blaring before they were shut off, tents were being burned to ashes by teenagers with flamethrowers.
Soldiers were running around, many in nothing but their boxers, those same soldiers were killed by young kids in black clothing running by and dropping landmines in front of the soldiers, someone was bombarding the buildings and wall with mortar fire, and gunfire was blaring throughout the camp.
Suddenly the gate to the camp was blasted down by a heavy tank, that drove in with several teenagers with guns and dressed in leather soldier clothing, then a young man with dirty blond hair, blue eyes, a palish, and wearing a black shirt under a brown jacket with a map holder on his right arm. He also wears brown trousers and boots.
"Who the hell are you?!" One of the soldiers yelled.
"You must be a newbie to the Empire, so I guess you haven't heard of my name, but I'm sure you've heard of the Underdogs?", the young man replied
The Empire soldier gasped and said, "Hold On, You Mean Those Reble Kids?!"
"The one and only, a freelance army made of kids and teens that takes orders from no other country leader, I'm the founder and leader of the Underdogs, Ivan, we don't bother with last names in this army. Now, Open Fire!" the young man yelled.
The teen soldiers lit up the Empire soldiers at the gate, showing not a single one any sort of mercy, the few that weren't were burned to death by the pyros that finished burning the tents.
Ivan pulled out a walkie-talkie and spoke, "Alright guys that's enough mortar fire.".
Far away from the camp, there was a large group of young kids wearing smaller versions of the teen's outfits, carrying mortar shells and Mortars into position, others loaded then fired them off and others watched them land, one was a young boyish girl around 7 or 8 with short black hair and eyes, and tan skin, wearing the same outfit as the other kids but wearing a winter fur hat.
"Got it, Ivan!" The girl said before turning to the others "Ivan says to stop firing, so pack it up, everyone!"
"Okay, Miss Lynten!" the kids began packing up and unloading the shells.
In the manor of the camp, the captain of the camp's army, a scrawny man with black oiled hair with a military suit with a nametag that said, Major Sinel, his other officers, and a group of masked soldiers were hiding in the main office and trying to create an order with the intercom but it wasn't working, "Damn They've taken out the sirens and the coms!" one of the officers said with panic in his voice. Then a soldier and an engineer came through the door before barricading it, "Sergeant 1st Class, Ellis, and Lead Engineer, Lyn, why are you here?! You're supposed to be out there fighting!" Sinel said.
Ellis replied, "I wish I could but my squad was ambushed."
Flashback.
Ellis and a group of soldiers were running to the manor from a barracks in the far back of the camp, "Move it, men! These Underdogs have already burned down the front barracks!"
Ellis roared at his group, then some of them screamed, Ellis looked to see a group of nearly starved kids and teens in rags with hoes and trowels stabbing the soldiers with a murderous look in their eyes.
"The slaves got free! Shoot Them-"
the soldier was cut off by an albino young man with pale skin, dead red eyes, and white hair, and wearing black camo clothes and a cap grabbed his gun and looked into the eyes of the soldier before slicing his throat open with a knife while shouting "Die Imperial Scum!" then more teens in black camo leaped up from the mud with hatchets and knives began hacking and slashing at the soldiers, the albino then yelled, "Kill Them, Annihilate Them, Don't Leave A Single One Alive!"
"Yes Sir, Sai Sir!" the squad roared as they continued their murdering rampage.
Ellis and the couple soldiers near him took aim but spotlight from sniper towers blinded them, then their guns were blasted apart by snipers. "What the- why are-" Ellis was cut off when he spotted Imperial snipers being thrown out of the sniper towers.
he could only see one of the young snipers, an albino girl with blue eyes, white hair, and pale skin wearing winter fur clothing holding aiming with a high-grade sniper rifle, which she used to blow off the heads of each of the soldiers before speaking into her radio and sneezing, "Sai, I'm cold can I get down from here?" the albino girl said.
Sai replied while burying his knife into a man's skull "After you clear out the targets, Mai.", as the remaining soldiers were either stabbed gutted or shot down by snipers Ellis just ran into the manor.
Flashback End.
"Not only were we ambushed, but the Underdogs also have control of the sniper towers too..." Ellis said with despair deep in his voice.
Then Sinel looked at Lyn and said, "What about you, where are the trucks and the tanks!?"
"They beat us to them... Each vehicle was taken... we never even got close to the garage... To make things worse, they've got heavily armored forces inside the building as well" Lyn replied.
Flashback.
Lyn and several engineers were running toward the garage which was close to the manor but before they could get closer to the garage, the door opened up to show a group of teens in clothing like the engineers in the now running vehicles and even the tanks.
Sitting on a toolbox was a young man with messy brown hair that covers his blue eyes and fair skin with grime and oil all over himself and wearing blue overalls over a dirty white shirt, and black boots and gloves. "Hey there boys, the name is Malcolm, sorry but we'll be taking these, I'm sure you won't mind, but we don't really care if you do or don't." the young man said before pointing forward and saying, "Show them the bumpers of our new rides!"
"Yes Sir, Malcolm Sir!" the teens responded.
But Malcolm responded, "What? Did you guys call me Handsome?".
The teens leaned out of their vehicles and yelled, "No, We Didn't!!" the teens then went back into their vehicles and sped at the engineers, Lyn ran for his life as did the others, but while they were run over by the vehicles.
Lyn managed to run and jump through a window, only to find the soldiers in the house were being slaughtered by extremely well-built teens covered in heavy armor holding full iron shields that either had bladed bottoms making them like a guillotine or with a slot that holds a heavy machine gun.
There were also different names on each shield but they were covered blood, the only one that wasn't covered was one with the name, Gunther, on it.
Then Gunther yelled as he pointed at Lyn, "There's another one! Get 'em!!", Lyn meeped in fear and ran upstairs.
Flashback end.
Sinel slammed his fist on the table in a rage then yelled, "Dammit, you're trained soldiers, and yet you're being torn to ribbons like weak little animals by children, only these cowards who hid in here while all this happens, even have weapons! I'm the 1st Lieutenant, I shouldn't even be here!"
"Hold on, these Privates were in here before all of us?" Ellis said, then one of the Privates stood up.
Sinel said, "What is it Private?"
"The voice of a 1st Lieutenant. That should come in handy." the Private said before rubbing his throat and speaking with Sinel's exact voice, "So how do I sound?" the Private rubbed his throat again then spoke with Lyn's exact voice, "Hmm, would the voice of a Lead Engineer come in handy? Maybe, how about..." the Private rubbed his throat again then spoke with Ellis' exact voice, "The voice of a Sergeant 1st Class? Nah, you replaceable.".
"Wha- What the hell!?" Lyn yelled, then the so-called Privates took off their masks to reveal they were teenagers.
"My name is Nigel, by the way, not that you'll live long enough to remember it," Nigel said as the teens then opened fire on the Empire soldiers, not leaving a single one of them alive.
The flames roared on until sunrise, the kids and teens that were in rags were now in clean clothes and were currently eating, many were crying over freshly made beef and veggie stew.
Ivan was approached by Nigel, "Alright I've cleared the path to the north but reinforcements will be coming from the east, so we'll need to leave soon." Nigel said with Sinel's voice.
Ivan sweatdropped then said, "You're still using that stolen voice, anyway I should say my speech."
Ivan then walked onto a stack of crates put there by Gunther and Sai then used two fingers to whistle to gain everyone's attention then spoke, "Pardon me, everyone, but my comrades and I will be leaving soon, I won't force you to join the Underdogs, but if you stay here the Empire will be cage you like they've done before to us all.".
Ivan's words seemed to a sense of care for the lives of the other children then by bending his arms and placing a clenched fist over his heart's location, the other non-new Underdogs did the same as if to show their salute.
"So... Will You Join Our Ragtag Group?! If Your Choose To Not Join, Don't Worry, You'll Be Given Everything You'll Need To Live And Survive Out In The Wild." Ivan said with a bright smile on his face.
Every single teen and child stood up and performed the same salute, some with tears in their eyes, "Sir Yes Sir, We Will Join, Sir!!" They yelled at the top of their lungs.
Ivan smiled and said, "Then Welcome Aboard!" Ivan then motioned to Gunther as he continued, "Gunther here will put you in the squad fitting your abilities, he may not look it but he's very smart, he's just not a big talker.".
After eating and assigning the new ones to squads, the group left the camp and began down the road, each new member now in new clothing for their assigned squads, Ivan was riding on top of a heavy tank in the front of the group, then Lynten came running up to the tank with a group of new kids carrying mortar equipment as training.
"So where are we headed next, sir?" Lynten said.
Ivan replied, "I would like to stop at a town to trade our scrap metal and other junk we can't use in for food and water, but most towns around here are Pro-Empire, so Underdogs showing up will just cause panic.".
Suddenly Sai popped out the tank window which had no glass covering the hole like the other windows, and said, "You could always just raid the place, the Hunter Squad would be happy to lead it."
"No." Ivan bluntly said to which Sai replied with a shrug and exited the tank.
then more Hunter Squad members came out the same window as if to train their flexibility. Ivan then heard a loud boom in the sky, and when he looked up what he saw was a meteorite falling from the sky above even the clouds, the meteorite landed on the road ahead of the Underdogs.
Ivan signaled for them to approached the meteorite slowly, after pouring cold water on it and using prongs to pick it up. The meteorite was a green crystal the size of a baseball in a brilliant shield-like cut.
"Huh, I would say this is Ragnite but Ragnite only comes from caves and is light blue in color, they're not green or from space," Ivan said as he inspected the space gem before putting it into his hand when it was cool enough to touch.
Then an angelic woman's voice rang through his head 'Element Of Leadership, please lend Equestria your aid.'
"Did anyone hear that?" Ivan asked only confusing his companions, then the space gem generated a blinding amount of light, and it instantly cleared and the Underdogs were nowhere to be seen.
Ivan reopened his eyes to see he and his companions were now standing on a road in a deep forest, a complete contrast to the road in an open field they were in before, he put the space gem in his pocket and yelled, "Status and Inventory Check! In that order, ASAP!!"
The teens checked themselves, no one was injured then they checked their supplies and nothing was missing. "Everyone and everything is in order," Mai said.
Ivan replied, "Okay, let's head forward, I've got a gut feeling we'll want to go that way, but be on guard.".
The Underdogs continued down the road, keeping their guns trained on the forest until they came to a farm entrance, where they spotted a group of anthropomorphic bulls and cows with axes and in armor standing over an anthropomorphic pony mare of about 8 ft in height with an orange coat, a blonde mane, emerald eyes, and a beautiful muscular figure with both a very top-heavy and bottom-heavy, she was wearing a button-up brown shirt, a cowboy hat, and short jeans, which had been tattered beyond repair, the mare also had several serious injuries.
"You think I could keep this one? She'd make a great breeding mare." One of the bulls said only for a cow to smack him.
The then said, "We're supposed to kill or capture these ponies not mate with 'em!"
"Excuse me!" Ivan yelled to get the attention of the warriors then said, "I'd hate to bother you but this mare seems to be in dire need of medical care so I'd like to take her in to tend to her wound-"
"Shut It!" One of the cows yelled, "I don't know what you are but we're in the middle of a war with these Equestrians, for what they did to us Fœnum, we're putting this one to work!"
"So like a slaver?" Ivan asked and the same cow nodded, causing Ivan to sharply inhale in distaste, "Oooo... I'm afraid to say this but... We don't like slavers."
Ivan snapped his fingers then the teens took aim and opened fire on the bovines, the bullets punching through their weapons and armor like a masterly crafted greatsword through watery butter.
Some managed to escape before the Underdogs opened fire, but Gunther chased after them with surprising speed despite his heavy armor, he wasn't using a shield as the others had.
He was holding two shields half the size of the other shields like gauntlets that then had extendible hidden blades, of which he used to cleave the survivors into pieces as they couldn't defend themselves.
Although one was must faster than Gunther, but he wasn't faster than a sniper bullet. "Now let's help this one and see if she can't help us understand what's happening, shall we? Let's set up in this farm for now." Ivan said as the mare was picked up and the Underdogs set up a base in the farm's house and barn.
