I'm settling into life in Ponyville, now the excitement of Nightmare Moon's return has abated I'm rather liking the change of pace and newfound freedom, however there was one thing I missed from my busy life in Canterlot.

Contrary to Rainbow's teasing I hadn't been a complete shut in, although I may have regressed a bit recently, and I have in fact been dating a beautiful Pegasus mare, however she'd been accepted into the Wonderbolts, while we wrote to each other weekly the times that we could be together had become somewhat infrequent, mostly she'd duck on to my balcony a couple of times a week but that seemed impossible now Spike and I'd moved, I've written to her about it of course but Ponyville is neither on her patrol route or close enough to the Capital to make the most of Leave.

Closing my eyes, I could recall dozens of times she'd silently glided onto my balcony, quiet little hoof steps as she came up behind my while I was engrossed in my reading and blow lightly into my ear...
