Okay on with the fic...

AN Alicorn of the Moon

Celestia sat down and once again began working the reserves in her magic to lift the moon out into the sky. What whe wouldn't give for another Alicorn, to help out with the moon, and to just talk to, but alas, it seemed impossible. Celestia was only created due to the fact that the moon and sun had stopped moving on their own, and therefore, had to be moved to keep the cycle of years go by. She was also put on Equestria for the protection of the ponies there. But as much as they loved and respected her, they also feared her. The moon slowly rose out from behind the landscape.

The fear they had for her, did not let her have any true friends. Nopony to talk to. Nopony whowould understand her, nopony that could say no to her. Nopony to call friend. The moon was almost completely revealed, just the bottom hidden by the few mountains.

The young Alicorn (granted I use this term even though she was already 40, but her composure gave her that of an eight year old. For the first century in an Alicorn's life, it ages at the rate of every five years is one year, after the first century the aging begins to slow down until the said Alicorn stops growing all together, Even considering that the height of the full grown alicorn exceeds that of all other types of ponies, the relative age the body process of aging stops at, is 25.) sighed wearily, for raising both the moon and the sun took alot of energy, and now she had to do the stars. Again she sighed. Her horn glowed a bright pink, and many stars appeared in the sky, scattered around randomly, Celestia breathed heavily. The moon was now full in the sky, but a baby stroller was falling from the sky as well!

Celestia spread her wings and dove after it without thinking, if there was a baby in that stroller she had to save it! The small Alicorn sped towards the falling stroller, but it was so close to hitting the ground, just a little more. CRACK.

The sound was heard all across Equestria, but it wasn't the stroller, no it was Celestia! She had just broken the sound barrier, and as such a pink trail was running behind her as well. Celestia was slowing down, and was now carrying the stroller, which really did have a small filly in it. The filly was a dark blue, with a light blue mane. but this mane was different then a normal pony's mane. It was flowing in a breeze that did not exist. Her horn was slightly longer than a normal unicorn horn, and there were wings curled up at her sides. Celestia realized in an instant. Her silent plees to the universe had been answered. This was an alicorn, an answer to her silent prayers. This alicorn was one that had fallen from the sky when the moon had rose. This was an alicorn, of the moon.

The small filly stretched and opened her eyes and met with Celestia's, it stared on in wonder. Cestia stared at her as well, also full of wonder, the filly smiled, and Celestia's heart melted. This small filly would need to be raised, but even though it seemed likely, the best person to raise her was Celestia herself, who already had enough experience to last her a normal pony's lifetime. She would raise the alicorn, and be her sister.

"Hello there little one," Celestia said to the filly with a smile, "My name is Celestia, and I'm your big sister." Celestia said to the small filly.

"Tia!" The filly cried happily. Again Celestia's heart melted inside of her. Celestia loved this small filly, and that much is certain.

"Now, what to call you? Hm, you fell from the sky, as soon as I raised the moon." The filly giggled at the word moon. "Hm, you like the word moon huh? Well how about we name you, moon?" The filly shook her head rappedly. "Night?" The filly shook it's head again. "Hm, what to name you, oh! I know, how about Luna? Do you like that name?" The filly smiled and nodded, reaching out for Celestia.

"Tia!" Luna called out to her big sister. Celestia came up and leaned down, to have her hair grabbed, and yanked hard.

"Ouch!" Celestia shouted then giggled again.

"Princess! What's wrong?" Two guard ponies shuffled into the small princess's room.

"Oh, it's just my little Lulu." The filly giggled in it's stroller.

"Your little Lulu?" The second guard pony asked suddenly confused.

"I would like you two to meet the newest addition to the castle, and my family. This is my little sister, Luna. The alicorn of the moon."
