The first unicorn in the human world

One very sunny afternoon in the land of Equestria, a certain lavender colored unicorn was trying out a new spell.

“So what is this spell you are trying again?” Spike asked.

“I am attempting a portal spell to hopefully travel somewhere beyond Equestria.”   Twilight replied as she continued gathering the resources needed.

When twilight finished gathering the materials needed she started the spell. As she was doing it however, pinkie came running in causing twilight to lose concentration.

“Hey twilight! I thought we could do something fun now and……ooo what is that you are do…” The rest was cut off as a black hole started forming in the library.

“Pinkie! You just interrupted my spell and now it has opened a black hole! We are doomed!” Twilight exclaimed as the black hole kept getting bigger.

“Look on the bright side twilight. Now you can go to the other place!” Spike said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

“You are actually right spike. This might be my only chance. I am going in.” Twilight said as she jumped in and the black hole disappeared.

Professor Romney was tending to some of his research projects when he heard a loud boom come from his lab.

“What the heck!” He exclaimed as he ran to his lab to see what the noise was.

“Ugh….” Twilight said as she appeared in some sort of lab with stuff she had never seen before and somepony…no not somepony…she did not recognize what being was coming toward her.

“What the heck? A pony? How in the name of the lord did a pony with a….horn? Appear in my lab? Have I gone crazy?” He kept asking like Twilight could not speak…or maybe it is because she shouldn’t be able to?

“Hello there mysterious being. I am Twilight Sparkle from a land known as equestria. I have somehow been teleported to your world by a portal. What is your name?” Twilight asked as Romney stared dumbfounded at twilight.

“You can speak? How in the world?...You know what? Forget what I asked. Where did you come from again?” Romney calmed down and asked.

“I am from Equestria.” Twilight started slightly annoyed. “Where am I and what are you?” Twilight asked.

“You are on earth, I am a human. Are you those mythical beings called unicorns?” Romney asked very confused.

“Mythical? I beg your pardon mister for the mythical one would be you for nopony knows anything about you.”

Can’t argue with that logic in this case. Romney thought.

“Well this is getting a little weird now. How do you believe you can go back to your world? Or can you stay and let me test you for science?”

“Test me?” Twilight asked very confused. “I guess it would not hurt. Lead the way to the testing equipment or place."

Professor Romney took Twilight to his car and explained to her what it was. Then they started heading to the Museum of Natural History.

“So where we are heading to is pretty much a catalog for strange creatures and stuff in your world? I have never heard of such a thing back in my world.” Twilight said as they arrived.

“Whatever your name is I need you to act like you are in a costume” Romney said. Before Twilight could say anything he said, “If someone sees you being the unicorn you are, especially foreign scientists, they will take you away and nobody will hear from you again. Just until we make it to the lab.” Romney said as they exited the vehicle.

“My name is Twilight once more, and ok then.” Twilight stated as they started walking.

The museum was a very massive structure with all sorts of things inside of it of strange creatures. It was a pretty bad day to be inside of here. Not only because it was a very crowded day, but also because a bunch of bronies were there.

When they almost reached the staff area, aka the lab, a crowd of bronies appeared in front of them looking at twilight.

“It is Twilight!” “Amazing!” “That isn’t even a costume!” The bronies kept exclaiming as Romney quieted them all down.

“I am sure you all think this is the ‘real’ Twilight that you are speaking of.” Romney started. “But that is false. I was testing a costume-skin solution and it seemed to work a bit too well. Now if you will please move out of our way, we must be getting to the lab to fix it.” Romney finished as he took twilight to the lab just beyond the staff-only doors.

The lab was much more quiet and peaceful then the area before so Twilight was able to move better.

“Here is the equipment.” Romney said as they entered a big room with a bunch of machines and wires. “I need to see what readings I get from heart rate, blood, magical properties to make sure you are a unicorn, etc.” Romney said as he hooked twilight up.

“So a quick question if I can before we start. Will this testing hurt in any way?” Twilight asked looking rather concerned for her safety.

“The process should be painless. Just stay calm and it will be over soon.” Romney said as he went to the observation room.

Professor Romney started up the procedure and the machine checked Twilight’s heart rate and found that it was the same as humans.

Next, another machine checked for any unusual signs such as chemicals and stuff and found it at the horn.(which proved that she was a unicorn)

The next machine, that almost made Twilight pass out from shock, was the blood sample machine and extractor which took a sample of her blood and magic chemical.

“What in the name of celestia did you just do to me?” Twilight asked as she rubbed her horn and felt woozy.

“I took a sample of your magical element and your blood to compare it to a regular horse and humans.” Romney said as he laid the samples down.

“We are done here. Come on, let’s get back to my house. It won’t be too hard since the museum is closing.” Romney said as he led Twilight out of the lab and to his car.

As they were driving Twilight kept asking herself,

What is this world? And what will happen if I cannot get back home?
