//-------------------------------------------------------// The first unicorn in the human world -by Sneaks- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Entering the human world //-------------------------------------------------------// Entering the human world One very sunny afternoon in the land of Equestria, a certain lavender colored unicorn was trying out a new spell. “So what is this spell you are trying again?” Spike asked. “I am attempting a portal spell to hopefully travel somewhere beyond Equestria.”   Twilight replied as she continued gathering the resources needed. When twilight finished gathering the materials needed she started the spell. As she was doing it however, pinkie came running in causing twilight to lose concentration. “Hey twilight! I thought we could do something fun now and……ooo what is that you are do…” The rest was cut off as a black hole started forming in the library. “Pinkie! You just interrupted my spell and now it has opened a black hole! We are doomed!” Twilight exclaimed as the black hole kept getting bigger. “Look on the bright side twilight. Now you can go to the other place!” Spike said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. “You are actually right spike. This might be my only chance. I am going in.” Twilight said as she jumped in and the black hole disappeared. Professor Romney was tending to some of his research projects when he heard a loud boom come from his lab. “What the heck!” He exclaimed as he ran to his lab to see what the noise was. “Ugh….” Twilight said as she appeared in some sort of lab with stuff she had never seen before and somepony…no not somepony…she did not recognize what being was coming toward her. “What the heck? A pony? How in the name of the lord did a pony with a….horn? Appear in my lab? Have I gone crazy?” He kept asking like Twilight could not speak…or maybe it is because she shouldn’t be able to? “Hello there mysterious being. I am Twilight Sparkle from a land known as equestria. I have somehow been teleported to your world by a portal. What is your name?” Twilight asked as Romney stared dumbfounded at twilight. “You can speak? How in the world?...You know what? Forget what I asked. Where did you come from again?” Romney calmed down and asked. “I am from Equestria.” Twilight started slightly annoyed. “Where am I and what are you?” Twilight asked. “You are on earth, I am a human. Are you those mythical beings called unicorns?” Romney asked very confused. “Mythical? I beg your pardon mister for the mythical one would be you for nopony knows anything about you.” Can’t argue with that logic in this case. Romney thought. “Well this is getting a little weird now. How do you believe you can go back to your world? Or can you stay and let me test you for science?” “Test me?” Twilight asked very confused. “I guess it would not hurt. Lead the way to the testing equipment or place." Professor Romney took Twilight to his car and explained to her what it was. Then they started heading to the Museum of Natural History. “So where we are heading to is pretty much a catalog for strange creatures and stuff in your world? I have never heard of such a thing back in my world.” Twilight said as they arrived. “Whatever your name is I need you to act like you are in a costume” Romney said. Before Twilight could say anything he said, “If someone sees you being the unicorn you are, especially foreign scientists, they will take you away and nobody will hear from you again. Just until we make it to the lab.” Romney said as they exited the vehicle. “My name is Twilight once more, and ok then.” Twilight stated as they started walking. The museum was a very massive structure with all sorts of things inside of it of strange creatures. It was a pretty bad day to be inside of here. Not only because it was a very crowded day, but also because a bunch of bronies were there. When they almost reached the staff area, aka the lab, a crowd of bronies appeared in front of them looking at twilight. “It is Twilight!” “Amazing!” “That isn’t even a costume!” The bronies kept exclaiming as Romney quieted them all down. “I am sure you all think this is the ‘real’ Twilight that you are speaking of.” Romney started. “But that is false. I was testing a costume-skin solution and it seemed to work a bit too well. Now if you will please move out of our way, we must be getting to the lab to fix it.” Romney finished as he took twilight to the lab just beyond the staff-only doors. The lab was much more quiet and peaceful then the area before so Twilight was able to move better. “Here is the equipment.” Romney said as they entered a big room with a bunch of machines and wires. “I need to see what readings I get from heart rate, blood, magical properties to make sure you are a unicorn, etc.” Romney said as he hooked twilight up. “So a quick question if I can before we start. Will this testing hurt in any way?” Twilight asked looking rather concerned for her safety. “The process should be painless. Just stay calm and it will be over soon.” Romney said as he went to the observation room. Professor Romney started up the procedure and the machine checked Twilight’s heart rate and found that it was the same as humans. Next, another machine checked for any unusual signs such as chemicals and stuff and found it at the horn.(which proved that she was a unicorn) The next machine, that almost made Twilight pass out from shock, was the blood sample machine and extractor which took a sample of her blood and magic chemical. “What in the name of celestia did you just do to me?” Twilight asked as she rubbed her horn and felt woozy. “I took a sample of your magical element and your blood to compare it to a regular horse and humans.” Romney said as he laid the samples down. “We are done here. Come on, let’s get back to my house. It won’t be too hard since the museum is closing.” Romney said as he led Twilight out of the lab and to his car. As they were driving Twilight kept asking herself, What is this world? And what will happen if I cannot get back home? //-------------------------------------------------------// Twilight hunt //-------------------------------------------------------// Twilight hunt Meanwhile at bronycon… “Attention bronies!” The host started. “We have some intriguing news from this brony right here. Come on forth john.” The host said to john and he went to the stage. “Attention fellow bronies.” John started. “I have recently went to the museum of natural history and encountered a scientist with an interesting partner next to him.” John said as the crowd started exchanging confused looks. “The one and only Twilight Sparkle. No costume, no type of trick, and I was not drinking.” John said as every brony gasped. “Not even a detailed costume?” “What do you mean?!” All the bronies were in a commotion until the host of the convention calmed them down. “What exactly does this mean John?” The host asked. “It means we must find the whereabouts of her and possibly be able to go to Equestria!” John said and the bronies cheered. “LET’S GO FIND OUR TWILIGHT!!!” Every brony yelled as they piled out of bronycon on their hunt. Back to the story… “I must thank you for letting me stay in your home.” Twilight said as they entered the familiar home. “Actually, I am glad you decided to stay with me for this long. I thought you would want to return to your own home.” Romney said as he walked in. “Actually, even though I would have stayed anyway to learn about this world, I actually don’t know how I would get home.” Twilight said sadly. Professor Romney did not know the response to that. This pony…no this unicorn could not go back to her own world…that would end up causing a lot of problems. For example: work, government, and the bronies. “Although…” Romney thought. “My friend professor Geoff would know more about this stuff for he is a brony AND a scientist. I must contact him right away!” Romney finished his thought. So Romney showed Twilight where she would sleep, told her the plan, and then called Geoff. “What is the reason you called me in the middle of the night?” Geoff said sleepily. “You’re a brony still right? Well I have a problem that would concern you if so.” Romney said. It took Geoff a minute but he responded, “How?”. Romney explained about a magical burst that happened in his lab and what creature caused it. Once he got to that part Geoff was wide-awake. “Hold up, hold up! You mean to say that THE Twilight Sparkle is in your house?!” Geoff exclaimed. “That would be correct. I am wondering if you would know why she couldn’t get home, the exact reason she is here, etc.” Romney explained. Geoff said he would come over in a mere 5 minutes so Romney went back to twilight. “I contacted my friend and he might know how you can get back to your home world…galaxy…universe…whatever it is.” Romney said. “Excellent! When will he be her…” Twilight almost finished when a knock sounded at the door. “He’s here! I will go and bring him to you. Sit yourself down in the living room.” Romney said as he went to the door to open it up. Romney greeted Geoff and took him to the living room where the “guest of honor” was and Geoff looked even more shocked. “So you must be Romney’s friend Geoff right?” Twilight asked. “Yes. You are Twilight Sparkle the element of magic from Equestria am I wrong?” Geoff asked a bit too descriptively. “Umm…well yes I am but how do you know all of that stuff anyway?” Twilight asked eager for more info. Geoff explained the show in which Twilight was from, what he was, what a brony is, and how we see all of their adventures. “So let me get this straight. I am a character off of a show and you are called a brony? What is the definition of that term?” “The definition of a brony is a bro+pony which equals brony. We watch the show and believe in the show’s plot of loving and tolerating. Save for the Canterlot wedding that is.” Geoff explained. Twilight was done asking questions which was a shocker and Geoff and Twilight tried to comprehend the situation again. “Geoff, do you know any way in which we can send Twilight back to her home land?” Romney asked a bit worried. “I do not know how we could send her back. I guess we could try the science equipment in our workplace to try to form some sort of thing that could get her back.” Geoff suggested uncertainly. “You think that we can make a portal? Have you been drinking again?” Romney asked Geoff. “Twilight is a unicorn. We make the basics, she activates it. Simple at that.” Geoff said. So that was decided between the two friends to try to make a portal to Equestria for Twilight. First off they would have to go to sleep for the next day. So they either got on a couch or a bed and went to sleep for the night. Meanwhile at the bronycon Twilight hunt… A group of 10 that split off from the rest went to the museum of natural history where the last known spotting was. Luckily it was still open. They went inside and spoke to one of the scientists. “Hello. Do you quite possibly know where a scientist that was here today that had a weird creature next to him lives?” The leader of the group asked. “You mean the one that was testing a costume-skin potion? Sure. His name is Romney and he lives 3 miles down the road.” The scientist said. The bronies gave their thanks and went walking to the house. “TO TWILIGHT!” The leader shouted. “TO TWILIGHT!” The rest of the group shouted. Back to the story… As the sun rose and the birds started chirping the three inhabitants of the Romney household woke up ready to get to the lab. “Alright I think we are ready.” Romney said as he and Geoff packed the supplies. “When we get there if we are asked anything we give the same answer. See any bronies then run to the lab as fast as you can. So let’s g…” The rest of Romney’s statement was cut short due to a knock at the door. “Who could that be this early in the morning?” Romney said as he went to the door. When Romney opened the door to the one who knocked he knew that this was going to be bad. It was the bronies. //-------------------------------------------------------// To Equestria!...maybe? //-------------------------------------------------------// To Equestria!...maybe? Meanwhile in Equestria… “I wonder what I should do today” Rainbow dash said as she was drifting on a cloud. Everything has been quiet since yesterday for the weather team and Twilight was doing something somewhere probably. Rainbow Dash spotted her “number 1” fan riding her scooter to the CMC’s tree house so Rainbow followed. “Hey squirt!” Rainbow said as both she and scoots arrived at the CMC hangout. “Hey Rainbow Dash! What brings you here?” Scootaloo said exciteingly. “Well since I am not busy I decided to hang out with my number 1 fan. If that is ok with you.” Rainbow said. Scootaloo was literally bursting with excitement and she went with Rainbow to wherever Rainbow was leading her. Back to the main story… “Oh. My. God.” Romney thought to himself as soon as he saw the bronies. “Hello. We are here for twilight. Also we are not leaving without her.” The brony group leader told Romney threatingly. Professor Romney slammed the door and locked it and ran into the living room where a confused Twilight and Geoff were sitting. “This is not good! That was the bronies! They are not going to let us leave unless they have Twilight!” Romney exclaimed quickly. “Why do they want me?” A confused Twilight asked. “Well, to put it simply my dear Twilight Sparkle, the bronies want to go to equestria and you are the only one here capable of bringing them to there.” Geoff explained calmly. Twilight Sparkle thought about that but said nothing. Eventually Romney came up with a way to escape with Twilight staying under the radar. From the bronies and the government. “We go up to the roof, grab the parachutes I always left up there for some reason, and land in the yard of the next house over. We just have to move VERY fast to make it away from the bronies.” Romney explained. They decided it was good and they all headed to the roof. When they looked around the house they saw a bit more than they could chew. For the house was completely surrounded by bronies because the group called in backup. “This is not good but I have a plan B. We land on that downhill over there next to the planned house. If we land there then we can roll down and land safely in the ditch below. Afterwards, we can hike up the ditch and make it to the back of the museum. Then it is pretty straight forward.” Romney explained and everyone grabbed a parachute. Except for Twilight, Geoff put Twilight’s on. When they were done, they jumped and landed perfectly on the downhill slope and rolled into the ditch. The problem was, it was a bit muddier then they were expecting but nobody really minded. “Now to the museum. The faster the better.” Romney said. They travelled all the way to the museum not encountering any bronies somehow. When they reached the back of the museum they went into the back door. Then they entered the lab. “Finally we are here. Now the problem is we do not have all materials needed to make the portal even with the stuff we brought. We never really got the tools to make stuff like this because it was proven not possible. Although there is a home depot around here.” The way Romney said “home depot” proved that he hated the place. “I will get the tools. I should be back in about an hour depending on the finding of the tools and stuff.” Geoff said as he left the building. Meanwhile in equestria… “So where are we going?” Scootaloo asked as they exited ponyville. “It’s a surprise.” Rainbow said as Scootaloo became even more impatient. Rainbow led Scootaloo to the highest mountain in equestrian, helped her up it via flying, and showed her the breathtaking view. “So why did you bring me here?” Scootaloo asked puzzled. “Because clouds often come up this far and I figured you would want to finally set hoof on one.” Rainbow explained and Scootaloo stared wide-eyed. A cloud appeared about 5 minutes later and they hopped on. As they did so they heard a boom coming from a long ways away and decided to check it out. Back to the story… During Geoff’s absence we managed to open a viewing point to equestria and I was able to see it for the first time. Romney loved every bit of what he saw and noticed it was so much different from the human world. Too bad they could not enjoy it fully because of a thunderstorm that popped up and knocked most of the power out with a huge boom. The good thing was that Geoff was coming through the door now. “I ran into some bronies but got the tools and the extra material we might need for the portal. Let’s start making it I guess.” Geoff said as he took the stuff out of his bag. “Twilight made a viewing platform while you were gone. She isn’t able to open up a portal because it is just a picture type thing. We must find a way to break through said picture.” Romney explained to Geoff. They started building the portal and it proved more difficult than they thought. Twilight was able to help them with the tools and building but the power outage made for tools to stop working every few minutes. Romney sent Geoff to find one of the portable generator thing’s that should be stored in the lab and he managed to find one. Starting it up, they were met with a bunch of tools activating at once causing their eardrums to almost shatter. “Let’s just keep going with the construction.” Romney slightly yelled as it is still pretty hard to hear since the loud startup thing. About 5 hours later they managed to make the final preparation to the machine. “Ain’t she a beaut?” Geoff said as he admired their work. “Time to start her up I say.” Romney stated and motioned for Twilight to start the countdown. “5…4….3…..2……1…….” Twilight counted down then activated the tunneling device. What happened next was not planned. Meanwhile back in Equestria… “Why are we going to investigate again?” Scootaloo said tiredly as she rested on the cloud. “Because whatever that was could cause problems later. Besides, it might be Twilight.” Rainbow said as she heard Scoots yawn and finally fall asleep. Rainbow came right to the place where she heard the boom. She was very surprised to see a portal, more like a hole, sucking stuff into it. Rainbow noticed that it was sucking the cloud Scootaloo is on and Dash into the hole. Rainbow’s instincts kicked in and she did the only thing she could. She pushed the cloud as far as she could, which was enough away, and got sucked in as well. Scootaloo woke up at that moment and the last thing Rainbow heard from her is, “DDDDDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
