Changeling Lands are fastly recovering from Canterlot’s defeat horrors: Equestrian blockade
and foreign interventions, almost happened civil war. All was stopped only since Queen’s
loyal military forces intervened just on time - they holded the country on the balance,
suppressed the revolts and thrown away the interventionalists, holding the Hearth of Empire
- Vesaliopolis.
Just right now, last rebels are crushing under the force of volunteers, willing of victory on this
slump. The main characters are four changelings - friends in arms, which united, and later
were thrown away from each other by the occasion. They are not paragons or sages, they
are absolutely common, even with their honour, self-sacrificing and braveness. At the end of
crisis they wish to get back to ordinary life, but powers that be had already decided their
destiny. Horrific mechanisms are starting their irreversible work and changelings can only be
small screws in them. Characters will go through many routes and events. Some will die in
suffer, others - will see the World where no one needs or waits for them.

Author’s notes:
1. This story was writen based on Equestria at War universe. Some who knows it will probably understand what is happening. Others who don’t — I recommend you to take a look.
2. In this chapter of story and later will sometimes be violence scenes. I don't want to make them very brutal and bloody, but you will sometimes find the cruelty. After all - this is a war, not a festival.
3. There are no many canon characters in my plans. I am sorry for this.
4. There are a lot of hard and specialized words here - I want to show the aspects of war as realistic as possible. Some may not like this - sincere condolences to them.
5. There will probably be some politics in my story, but it is not its main part - my main opinion is to show the characters as they are, without conjunctures or such agitational tricks of propagandists. I want to rémember, that I am telling mostly about persons and adventures, not about who and what is guilty or not. My fanfiction may be called controversial, but there will be some villains and decent characters - I don't like to tell what is absolutely good or bad, so - think whatever you want, but don't aim your banhammer at me.
