Shadow gave her a glare, knowing full well that she was lying. She got him some food and when she went to put it in his bowl, he smelled her and started growling. This was something that he had never done before but then it hit her, the jasmine scent from the soap was what likely had him growling. She sighed, "Well it looks like I'm going to have to take another shower to wash this off. I don't want you being upset with me."

After Bright Beam got Shadow fed, she headed into the bathroom and got in the shower. Rather than using the unscented soap, she grabbed the pumice soap that she normally only used on her hands to fully remove the scent. When she returned to her bedroom and the smell was completely gone, Shadow was a much happier cat. When she turned the light off and got laid down, Shadow jumped up on her chest and was meowing happily. She said, "You know Shadow, I'm going to be going to the spa on a weekly basis so you'll be smelling that jasmine more often.

Shadow paid no attention to her as he began kneading her before laying down and falling asleep.
