Amon's revolution grows stronger by the day. First, he attacked the bending arena! Then it was discovered that Hiroshi Sato was the mastermind behind the Equalist gloves and mecha tanks! And most recently, Amon ambushed Councilman Tarrlok, took his bending, and nearly captured the Avatar and Mortal Kombat Champion as well! Everyone is on edge, wondering where will Amon strike next?

Air Temple Island

Back on Air Temple Island, Naga and Pabu are seen curled up in a courtyard on Air Temple Island. While inside the house, Korra lying asleep in bed with her hair all undone, as Mako watches over her along with Twilight. She see’s him holds her hand, giving him a soft smile. “I take it this is a sign that you’ve come to terms with your relationship…?” She asked him.

“I don’t know Twi… things are just, complicated right now. I still need time to think things through.” He told her as he gently caressed Korra’s hand, he felt his heart skip a few beats as he looked at her. “But… I can’t deny what my heart is telling me, I just wish I could just be more open with her.” He told her as he was also addressing himself.

The alicorn turned human looked to him and smiled as she placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. “Take all the time you need, I’m sure when the time is right, you’ll know it.” She told him as she summoned a bouquet of flowers and gives them to him. “When she wakes up, be sure to give her these.” She told her as she got up and headed to the window to look out towards the city, while Asami was watching silently from the doorway. She looks at the way Mako looked at Korra, and looked down sadly and leaves.

Just as she was leaving, Flash walked passed her and walked into the room to check on them. “How is she…?” He asked them as he earned Twilight’s attention.

“She’s still sleeping, but she’s recovering… how’s Liu?” She asked him.

“Similar circumstances I guess, Kitana hasn’t left his side. Not to mention the fact she’s snuggled up nice and cuddly with him.” Flash told them and smirked.

Twilight let out a giggle and looked to him. “Can you blame her? Her fiancé was captured along with Korra and Spike, who is still to get a scolding.” She gestured to him noticing him at the doorway, who panicked and hid himself. “Not to mention she was wrongly arrested under false accusations, which still ticks me off. But it’s good to have them back… but it’s hard to imagine that Avatar Aang actually fought in the Mortal Kombat tournament.” She pointed out.

“I know what you mean, I’m still trying to wrap my head around it.” Flash said to her but soon heard some slight moaning and looked seeing Korra stirring. “Hey, she’s waking up…!” He said to her.

Twilight got up and touched his shoulder. “We should give them some space.” She told him as they started walking out of the room to give them the time they need.

As Korra woke from her slumber, she looked around the room and looked to Mako. “How long was I out…?” She asked him.

“You were sound asleep when we got you here last night, you looked almost like you could sleep through winter.” Mako told her as he smiled as Korra smiled back and tried to sit up. “Here, let me help.” Mako took her hand and helped her up, and soon remembered the flowers. “Um, here… for you.” He held them out to her.

She saw them as violets that caused her to smile and take them, she held them up to her face as she smelled the flowers and smiled happily and looked to him with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. “Twilight is behind this isn’t she?” She asked him as his eyes widened and he chuckled nervously.

“Dang it!” Twilight said on the other side of the door.

But Korra rolled her eyes from hearing, but looked to Mako. “As much as I appreciate her trying to make me feel better, I’m just happy that you’re here.” She told him as Mako smiled at her.

He looked away for a bit rubbing the back of his head, trying to find the right words. But he knew this wasn’t going to be easy, especially with his relationship with Asami. “I’m just happy, that your okay… I don’t know what this large group of heroes and misfits would do without you.” He told her.

A chuckle came out of Korra as Mako looked to her and smiled happily to hear her laugh, but what surprised him next was she wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him. She smiled finally feeling a sigh of relief as she held him, feeling her heart skip several beats as she held him. “I’m happy you’re here.” She told him as he blushed from it as his heart skipped a beat as well, but he smiled and wrapped his arms around her and closed his eyes as he hugged her. Peaking through the door, Flash and Twilight watched the scene between the two, and smiled happily for them as they pulled away from the door and walked away.

Meanwhile, Tenzin enters his room, where his wife and children are all sleeping in one bed. He sits next to the bed and places his hand on Pema's stomach, as both she and Jinora open their eyes. Jinora sat up and looked to her father. “Daddy, you're home. We waited up for you. Is Korra okay?” she asked him worriedly.

“Yes, she's fine, sweetie.” He told her as he picked up Ikki as she woke and embraces her.

She returned the embrace and looked to him. “I was scared. I thought she wasn't coming back.” She told him.

“I'm sorry you were scared, but everything is going to be fine now. I promise. We have thanks to the new Emperor of Outworld to thank for bringing Korra back.” He told them as he heard footsteps and looked seeing Kotal approaching.

Pema saw him and blushed intensely of seeing his masculine body, quickly turning away. “For an emperor, I was expecting him to be less revealing.” She told her husband.

“My apologies for walking in unannounced… but I thought you should know that Korra has awakened.” Kotal informed them of recent events.

“That’s great your majesty, we will be with her shortly.” Tenzin told him as he looked to his wife. “Least there some good out of all this.” He told her with a smile.

Pema merely chuckled as she noticed Kotal approaching and kneeling down and pressing his large hand gently to her belly feeling the pulsing heart of the baby within. “The child’s heart is strong, he may even become a great warrior one day.” He told her.

“Yes, but I mostly wanted a nice nonbender like me, not someone who blows wind in my face every five seconds.” She told him gesturing to Meelo.

Kotal merely let out a chuckle from hearing it, and looked to her. “Bender or not, you are blessed with incredible children… one smart, one energetic, the other… well… I’m not even sure about the youngest.” He said to her as he looked to Meelo.

“Hey, you got a problem with me?” Meelo asked only to pass gas, making everyone cringe and cover their noses. “What are we talking about?” He asked confused as Ikki groaned, and Jinora pinched the bridge of her nose, shutting her eyes wondering if she is even related to him.

In the dining area, Korra chows down on food while sitting at a table with Bolin, Mako, Asami, Tenzin, Lin, Pema, and the rest of the Earthrealm Defenders. Kotal approached with some food the Mayans gave him when they worshipped him as a god, and set them down before her. “Eat up young one, it is wise to keep up your strength.” He told her. (And no, I’m not talking about hearts and the lot.)

“Mmm. Mmm. The food tastes amazing, guys. I'm finally starting to feel like myself again.” Korra told them.

Pema stood up retrieving one of her plates to clean it. “We're so thankful you're all home safe.” She told her.

“We wouldn’t be hear if it was for Kotal, or Permafrost.” Liu gestured to them as Permafrost summoned her pets Haukue and Neva, two giant demon snow leopards that were born from her powers. They approached her and nuzzled her as she fed them pieces of meat.

Meanwhile Asami got up to help Pema. “Let me help.” She told her as they went to the kitchen together.

Shang watched them go sensing something in her as he sipped his tea. “She’s certainly upset about something.” He mumbled to himself.

“Heh, young love… I can tell… I also sensed a twinge of jealousy.” Chrysalis whispered to him as he nodded in agreement.

“Korra, I realize you've been through a lot, but I need to know everything that happened.” Tenzin said to her.

“Well, first off, Tarrlok isn't who he says he is. He's Yakone's son.” Korra told them about his past. (Dun, dun, DUUUUUUNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!)

“YAKONE?!!” Pinkie exclaimed in a panic, only to look confused. “Uhh, who’s Yakone?” She asked them.

“From what I read in Toph Beifong’s report about him, Yakone was a notorious crime boss, known for his cruel nature, and his ability to bloodbend people to keep their mouths shut. More or less, he even killed people with that ability, which we all know Katara made illegal for a good reason.” Stryker explained to them.

“That is correct Stryker, I was also part of the hearing when he was first arrested. His bloodbending also affected me, and never had I felt such a vile curse brought upon all waterbenders. It was wise of Katara to deem it illegal.” Raiden told them.

“It all makes sense now. That's how Tarrlok was able to bloodbend us without a full moon.” Lin told them.

“But how did y’all escape? And where's Tarrlok?” Applejack asked them.

“Amon captured him, and took his bending.” Liu told them of what happened.

Tenzin was surprised as well as shocked to hear it. “What?” He asked him.

Kitana crossed her arms as she scoffed. “Not that he deserved them to begin with. He was nothing but trouble from the start.” She told them as Permafrost nodded in agreement as she scratches Neva’s chin.

“Yeah, he showed up out of nowhere. He almost got me and Liu, too.” Korra told them as he pets Spikes head. “Even Spike here. If it hadn’t been for Twilight, or Permafrost, we wouldn’t be here.” She told them.

“This is very disturbing news. Amon is becoming emboldened. Taking out a councilman, almost capturing the Avatar, and the Mortal Kombat Champion... I fear Amon is entering his endgame.” Tenzin theorized.

“In times of war, there are leaders who make strategic maneuvers.” Krato stood them as he looked towards Kotal. “Thin out the defenses, target a monarch, then go for the greatest obstacle the could get in their way.” He stated.

“It was the same for the Mayans when the conquistadors came to their shores.” He told them.

“Only now, it’s the benders of Republic City, this is by the craziest war we’ve stepped into.” Rainbow Dash pointed out to them.

“While we may be few in number, but if there were some way I could bring the Dora Milaje, and my people, I could help provide protection to the city. But Killmonger possesses the only technology capable of passing between dimensions, not even Kotal’s portal stone could get me there in time.” T’Challa said to them.

“Perhaps if we bring a few of our forces from Outworld, we could get them here before things grow dire.” Shang Tsung suggested.

Twilight thought about it and looked to him. “One, not a bad idea, two, don’t even think of bringing Ferra/Torr, because we don’t trust them.” She told him as Shang nodded his head in understanding given their first encounter with them back in Outworld.

Meanwhile in the kitchen, Asami and Pema washing dishes in the kitchen. Pema suddenly doubles over and cries out in pain, causing Asami to panic and grab her feeling concerned. “Pema, are you all right?” She asked her.

Struggling a bit, Pema tried to hide it. “The baby is ... just kicking, really hard, is all. I'm fine.” She assured her.

“Should I get Tenzin?” Asami asked her feeling concerned and unconvinced.

“No reason to worry him, it's nothing.” The pregnant wife told her.

Just at that moment, Mako walked into the kitchen with a teapot. “Can I get some hot water? Korra needs more tea.” He told them.

But Asami, oh dear… she was down right angry at him. “You're a firebender. Boil it yourself.” She told him as she looked away and continued to wash the dishes. Yeah, Mako was going to be in the polar bear dog house now.

Both Mako and Pema stare at her with confusion, just as Pema quickly smiled trying to hide it. “I'm- gonna step out in case you two want to talk.” She told them as she walked passed Mako hiding a grimaced face and stepped out and closed the door, exhaling as she tried to breathe.

Kotal approached noticing it. “Is something the matter…?” He asked her.

“I’m fine, it’s Mako I am more worried about.” Pema pointed out as he looked to the door and peaked inside.

“Is there something we need to talk about?” Mako asked Asami as he felt confused.

“I've noticed how you treat Korra. How you acted when she was missing.” Asami told him as she drops a dish and washcloth in the sink and turns to face him. “You have feelings for her, don't you?” She asked him as Kotal was surprised as he watched.

“What? No! She was taken by a crazy bloodbender! How did you expect me to act?” Mako asked her feeling defensive of the situation at hand.

“I like Korra.” Asami told him holding her hand to her chest only to pull it away as she turned away from him. “But you've been keeping the truth from me this whole time.” She said to him.

“The truth? About what?” Mako asked her still feeling confused, even if he doesn’t know he’s trying to hide it.

“You're really going to make me say it?” Asami asked him getting angry with him.

“The kiss, Mako. I know.” Asami pointed it out to him that Bolin blew it.

Mako was shocked to hear it, as was Kotal as he watched the argument between them. “I- Well I-” Mako tried to find the words, but sighed angrily and looked to her. “Bolin told you, didn't he?!” He asked her.

“Don't blame your brother for what you did. Do you have feelings for Korra or not?” Asami asked him angrily.

Mako didn’t want to admit it, but deep down in his heart. He felt that his destiny wasn’t with Asami, but with Korra… he looked to her deciding to be honest with her, even if it meant being painfully honest. “I do…” He admitted it to her, which slowly put shock into Asami’s heart when she looked at him. Kotal watched the scene knowing he’s gonna get in a whole mess of trouble. “But look, things are crazy right now. Can we deal with our relationship problems later?” He asked her as he touched her hand.

But Asami yanked her hand away as she scowled at him. “Well there might not be any relationship to worry about later.” She told her as she stormed out of the kitchen going through the door.

“Asami!” Mako watched her go and sighed knowing he messed up big time.

Kotal walked out of hiding and walked to him. “There is no shame in admitting your true feelings young one.” He told him.

“Yeah, but why did it have to be so hard…?” Mako asked him as well as himself.

Kotal patted his shoulder as he approached and leaned against the table. “When I first met Jade, the two of us were close to killing one another, but thankfully, we didn’t… over the years, we grew close… knowing that our hearts were intertwined.” He told him and looked his direction. “Your destiny, and that of Korra’s, have also been intertwined… it is something to cherish.” He told him.

Mako thought on his words, and looked to him. “Least you had it easy, me…? I’m just a street rat , turned pro-bender, turned member of Team Avatar/Earth Defender. You even became emperor, I’m surprised none of the women in Outworld tried to share your bed and become your queen.” He told him as Kotal chuckled from hearing it.

“Many have tried.” He told him.

“But what stopped you from taking them?” Mako asked him.

Kotal looked towards where Jade was and stared at her other a smile. “None of them were Jade.” He admitted and looked to Mako placing a hand on his shoulder. “Do not fear for your love for the Avatar, do not lose her as I lost Jade for five hundred years.” He told him and walked out of the room, leaving Mako to think about it.

Meanwhile outside, Tenzin is walking through the courtyard, as Lin comes up from behind earning his attention. “Lin, um, I, I- I need to ask you a favor. It would mean the world to me ... but I-I know it could be a- a potentially awkward situation; furthermore, -“

“Spit it out already!” Lin told him before he could finish.

“Will you and Stryker stay here and watch over Pema and the children while I meet with the council? With everything that has happened lately, I want to be sure my family is in safe hands.” He told her.

Lin reached over and touched his shoulder. “Of course we’ll help, old friend.” She said to him.

Just at that moment, Pema looked seeing them and gets suspicious of the moment as she held Meelo. “I didn't realize you two were out here.” She told them.

Tenzin panicked seeing her as Lin pulled away. “Pema! Ye- yes- yes, Lin has agreed that she and Stryker will help out around here and keep an eye on things while I'm away.” He told her.

“Thank you! I could use the extra pair of hands.” Pema said to them as she handed Meelo to Lin and she held him out. “Would you mind giving him a bath? He's filthy.” She told her as she walked away.

Meelo sticks out his tongue and blows a raspberry at Lin, while continuing to laugh. Lin turned towards Tenzin as he was about to leave on Oogi while holding Meelo away from her. “This is not what I signed on for!” She yelled angrily at him knowing she had been tricked.

“Thank you, Lin! Oogi, yip yip.” He told his sky bison as they ascended and headed for the city while Stryker walked up seeing it.

“Stuck with babysitting duty, huh? Can’t be that bad, you look almost motherly.” He told her.

But Lin gave him a scowl from hearing it. “One more word about it, and I’ll have you arrested.” She said to him.

“I gotta poo!” He told them as Lin holds him farther away from herself. “Really bad!” He said to them feeling a big load.

He grunts and Lin quickly metal bends a cable around his waist to avoid touching the soiled child. Lin makes a disgusted face and hurriedly carries him away with Stryker. “Okay, come on you goopy fella, let’s get you cleaned up.” He told him as they walked to get him cleaned.

Republic City, Councilwoman’s Home

At the home of one of the council, the Fire Nation representative was searching for her keys, and she was in a hurry as she looked around the house. “Do you know where my keys are? I can't find them anywhere!” She told him.

But he was far from interested as he was reading the newspaper. “No, dear.” He told her. (Dude, why’d you even marry her?)

Hearing a jangle, she reached in her bag and pulled them out. “Oh, found them!” she cheered.

“Good, dear.” The husband told her still uninterested. (Okay, dude, again, why’d you even marry her?!)

“Don't wait up for me; this council session will probably go late into the night.” She told him only to hear a knock at the door.

“The door, dear.” He told her as he was still uninterested. (Put some emotion into it!)

Upon opening the door, the council woman saw two men standing before her in uniforms standing on the front step, one of which is actually Amon's Lieutenant in disguise. He quickly gives a sly smile before looking normal. “We're here to fix a spider-rat problem.” He told her holding up a spray hose and poison can.

But the councilwoman didn’t believe him. “I didn't call an exterminator.” She told him, only for the Lieutenant to electrocute her with the spray hose, which is actually disguised Equalist equipment. Both step into the house as a thumb of her body collapsing onto the ground can be heard.

“Dear?” The husband asked showing some sign of worry in this tone. (Okay, I’m just gonna come out and say it. D.I.V.O.R.C.E.)

Republic City Hall

Tenzin flys Oogi down and lands on the roof of City Hall. He dismounts and walks around the dome, where several workers are cleaning the glass. They nod at each other as Tenzin passes. He walks a few steps further, but pauses as he hears the fizz of electricity. He ducks in surprise as an electrified disk spirals over his head, and spins midair as another barely misses him. He lands on his feet as the Equalists in disguise drop to the ground and seize his wrists with bolas. Tenzin dodges their attacks, and airbends himself high into the air with an air sprout. The Equalist who was still standing on the ground is flung backward against the concrete wall by a gust of wind; he slumps down against it. Tenzin riding his air spout and the two Equalists holding onto their bolas for dear life as they are spun around. Unable to hold on any longer, they release their grip and are flung onto a nearby rooftop. Tenzin lands back on the ground as the door opens and the council page comes out. He yelps seeing it as he covered his face as the wind dies down, and lowers his arms seeing Tenzin. “Ah, I'm so relieved to see you!” He told him unaware someone was behind him.

Kano snuck up on him and grabbed him, holding a blade to his neck as the airbender gasped seeing it and glared about ready to airbend at him. “Ah, ah, ah… I wouldn’t do that if I were you mate… unless ya want this little squealer to be bleeding from his throat, I suggest ya surrender and come quietly.” He told him.

“And if I don’t…?” Tenzin asked him with a glare.

“Then it’s goodbye little Councile Page… and hello blood bath.” Kano said to him with a sadistic grin, only for Tenzin to harden his glare towards him. But something caught his eyes when he carefully looked behind Kano, seeing Haukea and Neva behind him on the other rooftop. He looked towards Kano and scowled as he lowered his hands, earning a chuckle from the Black Dragon leader. “That’s better… ya monks are so easy, because ye ain’t got the mongrel in ya.” He told him.

But Tenzin smirked as he backed up, surprising Kano as he also had a confused look on his face, only to feel a cold chill behind him that made him tense up from feeling it. Just as he looked behind him, Haukea snarled at him and tackled him down knocking his knife out of his hand and bared his fangs at him growling. The page panicked from seeing it and looked seeing Permafrost appear through ice, she looked to the page and walked up to him. “Are you all right?” She asked through telepathy.

“Y-Yes, thank you…” He said to her as Tenzin rushed up to him.

“The other council members. Are they all right?” He asked him.

“I'm afraid not! I just received a call from Chief Saikhan. They've all been captured!” The page said to him feeling worried.

Tenzin’s eyes widened from hearing it and he grew more worried. “This can't be happening.” He said to himself.

“Believe it Tenzin, it’s only going to get worse from this point.” Permafrost said to him through telepathy.

“The leadership of Republic City is in your hands now.” The page said to him as he held out his hand, but Tenzin and the page hear the sound of nearby explosions and run to the edge of the roof to see bombs falling onto the city from airships. “It is a tragic day indeed!” he exclaimed.

A chuckle soon came out of Kano, gaining Tenzin and Permafrost’s attention as they turned towards him. “Ye ain’t got a chance now, you’re city’s gonna burn, and with my Arsenal in the Equalists hands, there is nothing you can do to stop it. So how bout ya do me a favor, call off your attack kitty and let me go, eh?” He asked them.

“You never learned to shut up, have you…?” Permafrost asked him as she froze his mouth to keep him quiet and looked towards Tenzin. “I’ll leave Haukea and Neva with you in case you need protection, I need to return to the island and help my brother.” She told him.

“I will take Kano to Chief Saikhan and have him locked up, without him, Amon won’t be able to get anymore supplies from him.” Tenzin said to her as she nodded her head and vanished through ice, while Haukea lifts Kano up in his mouth and Neva bared his saber fangs at him to make sure he didn’t get and bright ideas.

Air Temple Island

Back on Air Temple Island, everyone on the island looked out seeing the smoke and fires coming from the city. Lin and Stryker are standing in the courtyard with Tenzin's children and the White Lotus sentries, as the Equalists airships fly in overhead. “All right, kids, time to go inside.” She told them as Korra, Mako, Bolin and Asami rush in to see what is going on. While Jinora, Ikki and Meelo walk back into the house.

“We heard explosions, what's going on?” Korra asked them.

“Republic City is under attack.” Stryker told them as Kotal and Kratos arrived and saw the destruction.

“Fire from above… these Equalists are more barbaric than Reiko and his horde.” Kotal said to them.

“The only difference between them is these people will do what ever it takes to win, even if sacrifices must be made.” Kratos told him as he gripped one of his blades.

Equalist Airship

On the Equalist Airship, Hiroshi Sato was looking at a photograph of himself, his wife, and Asami as a child. He snaps the picture shut and tucks it away in his jacket pocket, before walking toward Amon, who is watching the city from the windows at the front of the airship. “I've dreamed of this day for so long.” He told him.

“Yes, the time has come for the Equalists to claim Republic City as their own. And to pave the way for Lord Shinnok’s arrival.” Amon told him as he stared at the city.

Nightmare Moon appeared along side Athena, Killmonger and Starlight Glimmer as they approach. “There is some disturbing news, Kano has been captured.” She told them.

The Equalist leader looked to her surprised along with Hiroshi. “How is this possible?” He asked them.

“He got caught by a big snow leopard, with saber fangs, and covered in ice.” Starlight told him.

“It would seem The Avatar has gained yet another ally, because if those beasts are here, then it is more than likely that their master is here as well.” Athena told them.

“You said it… had a rough run-in with her when I went after the Avatar and the monk.” Killmonger told them as he fixed a crick that was in his neck. “Still feeling that painful slap from her polar bear dog.” He stated.

“It won’t matter, once we take the city, all will know Equality.” Amon said to them.

Starlight stepped up to him. “Forgive me for questioning you Amon, but don’t you think this is a little extreme? I’m one for Equality and all, but I didn’t sign up to start a war.” She told him.

“Sometimes extreme measures need to be taken Starlight.” Rain told her as he approached. “Therefore, everything comes with a price, even your soul.” He told her which earned a wide eyes look from her. “Oh don’t be shocked, the moment you allied with Shinnok, you sold your soul to the devil.” He told her.

“You’re joking… this is a sick joke you’re pulling, right?” She asked him.

“I’m afraid not Ms.Glimmer… you see, we are doing this to prepare for Lord Shinnok’s arrival. You or all people should understand what your enemies took from you. Your village, your friends…” Amon said to her and looked towards her. “They turned their backs on you because they follow a false leader.” He told her as Starlight closed her eyes trying to forget it. “Or am I wrong…? Do you truly believe in the equality I am trying to bring…? Or are you second guessing…? Because if you are… there will be no where in Republic City for you to hide.” He warned her.

Starlight began to mentally question his motives for equality, but if she turned her back on him, she will be hunted. She sighed knowing she would regret it, and looked to him. “No… I’m fine.” She told him as Amon smirked behind his mask and turned away from her looking out. Meanwhile Nightmare and Athena glanced to her, noticing much uneasiness going through her mind. They knew what she was thinking, and needed to plan something for her should she think of even leaving the Equalists.

Republic City

Over Republic City across the bay, as smoke rises and sirens and explosions are heard. Korra, Mako, Bolin, Asami and the defenders get off of Tenzin's boat and run off the dock. “Where did you say you parked the car?” She asked Korra.

“It's right around here somewhere.” She told her as she looked around the area with them and found it. “There it is.” She pointed to where it was and ran towards it, seeing it was crashed against a pole.

Asami looked at it and glanced to Korra. “Wow, nice parking job.” She said sarcastically.

“Hey, you guys got arrested and left me alone with the car! I made it very clear I don't know how to drive.” Korra reminded them given the fact Tarrlok tried to bribe her with one he sent her.

“All right, take it easy guys, we need to focus on finding Tenzin before things get worse.” Twilight told them.

“All things considered you did a great job!” Bolin said to Korra as he grabbed the parking tickets off the windshield. “But how are we going to pay for all these parking tickets?”

Mako quickly grabs the parking tickets out of Bolin's hand, crumples them up, and burns them. Bolin gasps in horror. “Relax, the city is under attack. The police have more important things to worry about.”

“My point exactly, I mean do we even have the time to worry about parking tickets right now Bolin?” Johnny asked him.

Asami walked to the back of the car and opens the trunk and takes out a pair of electrified gloves. “These’ll come in handy.“ She told herself as she put them on and opens the driver's side door and sits down. Mako goes to sit next to her, only to see Asami look at him disdainfully. “Why don't you sit in back? With Korra.” She told him.

Mako knew that she was literally getting personal with him, given his brutal honesty towards her. But he clearly understood where she was going with this. “I think I will.” He told her and got into the back with Korra as Asami started the car and Bolin got into the seat next to Bolin, Johnny and Sonya witnessed it and grimaced knowing that things clearly got messed up between the two.

Korra meanwhile grew concerned as she looked to Mako. “Everything all right?” She asked him.

“Yeah, everything is terrific…” He told her sarcastically with his head turned away from her.

Applejack lightly patted his shoulder. “Don’t make it personal, it won’t end well. Trust me, I know.” She told him as she rushed off with the others. Sighing as Asami drove off, Mako knew that this was gonna be crazy… more than this war ever will be in a thousand years.

Republic City Police Department

At the police department, the police force is literally swamped with the chaos that is happening outside. “Chief! Air unit seven was just taken out by an Equalist airship. They've crashed into the harbor!” One of the telegraph operators informed him of what was going on.

“Send a river rescue unit.” He ordered them.

“Chief, all the river rescue ships have been sabotaged!” A female telegraph operator informed him.

“What?” He asked in shock.

Rushing into the room, Tenzin walked to Saikhan while Haukea and Neva walked in with Kano being carried in Haukea’s mouth. “Chief Saikhan.” He called him out getting his attention.

“Tenzin, am I glad to see you. I was afraid you'd been captured too.” Saikhan said to him.

“I'm the only Council member left. What's the status?” He asked him of what’s happening.

“Amon has launched simultaneous attacks across the boroughs. The police are trying to regain control but we're spread too thin.” Saikhan informed him.

“Doing a bang up job if ya ask me.” Kano said to them only to feel a paw against his face and claws against bionic eye. “AGH!!! You freaking fur-ball! When I get outta this, I’m gonna make a fur coat outta ya.” He shouted at him.

“I see you brought one of Amon’s men.” Saikhan said as he noticed him.

“Oh, you’re a bright one, aren’t ya mate…?” Kano asked him with a smirk.

“Given he’s from Earthrealm and I took some of the maps Stryker lent me, I can guess he’s probably Russian.” The police chief stated.

But Kano immediately thrashed from hearing it. “Do I sound friggin’ Russian to you, ya friggin’ idiot?!” He asked him only to feel Haukea pressing against his head.

“Ignore him…” Tenzin told him as he strokes his beard pensively, and came out an idea that might work. “I need to send a wire.” he told one of the telegraph operators.

“To whom, Councilman?” He asked him.

“The general of the United Forces.” He told him.

Meanwhile outside the station, Athena appeared in front of it and looked to it, forming a sadistic grin as she used her power to summon three of Greece’s most ferrying monsters. The Cyclops (Think of him as the Cyclops from Blood of Zeus), the Minotaur (God of War 3 Design), and Medusa (Clash of the Titans 2010 Design). Athena used her magic to send in a gas to put everyone up within to sleep. “Knowing the councilman, he will use his airbending to clear the gas… Cyclops, Minotaur, you wait here… Medusa…?” She looked towards her, not fearing her petrifying stare. “See what you can do.” She told her with a grin as Medusa smirked and slithered into the police station.

Upon sending the wire to its recipient, the telegraph operator turned towards Tenzin. “Councilman, your wire has been sent.

“Chief, the phone lines just went dead!” One of the female telegraph operators exclaimed.

Saikhan and Tenzin glance at each other as an alarm goes off. The power goes out, silencing the alarm. Saikhan turns on a flashlight. “Catch.” He tossed Tenzin a flashlight as he caught it and turned it on, they both search the room with their flashlights.

Tenzin notices smoke coming out of a vent. “Saikhan, the vents.” He pointed out as Saikhan quickly metalbends the vent shut as the people in the room begin coughing. “We need to evacuate immediately. Everyone stay close to me.” He told them only to hear a scream and turns seeing one of the operators turned to stone.

A chuckle came from Kano as he looked to them. “Oh you’re all in for it now mates.” He told them only to get knocked out by one of the operators.

Tenzin stared at the petrified operator that was turned to stone and touches his shoulder and shuts his eyes. Saikhan walked up seeing it. “How can anyone be turned to stone like this…?” He asked.

A feminine chuckle is heard through the station as Tenzin opened his eyes. “That… is something Kratos will know.” Tenzin replied and walked towards the door and opens it as smoke came in and he quickly airbended it around them to give them proper oxygen as they went into the halls, with Haukea and Neva dragging an unconscious Kano. “Keep your guard up… there’s no telling who or what’s in here.” He told them as Saikhan used his metalbending to form a shield around them as they traveled through the smoke, while Tenzin walks down with an air dome to protect Saikhan and his workers. As they made it through the hall, they noticed several statues of the police stations finest. Saikhan can only look on in horror from seeing his officers turned to stone. Tenzin was close to sympathizing with him, but his ears picked up the sound of something flying through the air. “Saikhan, shield!” He shouted as Saikhan snapped out of it and blocked an arrow with his shield, it bounced off the shield and pierced into the wall.

“What in the world!” Saikhan shouted as he heard laughter within the darkness ahead of them. Haukea and Neva looked around carefully, but they couldn’t see anything with this darkness. But their ears torch to hearing a rattle as they snarled looking for the source of the rattling.

But all they could see was blackness, and felt that they were being toyed with. “Such amazing pets you have there…” Said Medusa as she carefully sneaked around without them realizing. “It would be a shame to see them petrified.” She told them as she chuckled and sneaking up on one of the operators, grabbing hold of his shoulder, making him tense up as he felt her snakes slithering up behind him. “Don’t worry… it will be painless….” She whispered as she was about to turn him towards her so she could have him look into her eyes. Saikhan quickly turned and shot a cable towards her only to see her avoid the cable with her agility and slithers back into the darkness as the leopards snarl trying to get her. But she disappeared just as quickly as she appeared.

“Tenzin, what was that?!” Saikhan asked him.

“Kratos knows more about that creature than I do, we have to keep moving!” He told them as he escorted them. Once outside headquarters' entrance, Tenzin's party escapes the smoke and Tenzin stops airbending. Everyone in Tenzin's party gasp as they see the Cyclops and the Minotaur, along with a few Ogres from Midgard. surrounding the entrance. “Not theses beasts…!” He muttered.

“Greetings Tenzin…” Athena floated down with a grin. “So wonderful to see you again.”

“I’m afraid the feeling is not as mutual Athena.” Tenzin said to her.

The ogres growled as the began to approach, but Athena held her hand out stopping them and looked towards Tenzin. “Return Kano to us, and surrender to me now… you have no hope of escaping.” She told him as Medusa approached from behind, holding her bow and arrow as her snakes hissed at them.

“I wouldn’t surrender to the likes of you Athena, not after what you did to Kratos and Artemis.” He replied to her with a glare. “Kratos told me everything about you, how you and Ares took his brother from him, how you lied to him… and how denied him his freedom from the visions that haunted him.” He said to her.

Athena glared in return as she gripped her fists, and rose her hand. “Take them alive… paralyze them if you must, but Amon wants them alive.” She ordered her monsters as they roared out and charged at them. The ogres roared as they rammed two of the metalbender officers biting onto their armors piercing through their armors while Tenzin tries to save Saikhan by pulling on him with an air current. However, the Cyclops captures Saikhan holding him up as he struggled. The ogres managed to put the metalbender officers into a truck. One ogre charged at Tenzin, but he airbends at the beast smacking it with a strong gust of ind as dust and small debris hit it and continues attacking the monster. Medusa fired two arrows at Tenzin, who once again deflects her arrows with airbending.

The Minotaur charged at Tenzin and throws a cable at Tenzin, knocking him against the wall of police headquarters. Tenzin uses an air wheel to soften his fall. He looks up as he sees the truck drive away. “Saikhan, no!” He shouted as he looks up as he sees a burning police airship falling out of sight behind a building. He sees the telegraph operators being captured by Equalists and the two ogres on the City Hall steps. His vision blurs and goes black as the mecha tanks surround Tenzin and close in.

A cruel chuckle came from Athena as she saw it happen and folded her arms. “This is easier than I imagined.” She told herself only to hear a care engine and looked to see Asami driving around a corner and floors the gas pedal. Bolin earthbends two ramps in front of the car. “WHAT?!” She exclaimed as she got hi by the care and slammed to the ground.

“Jump!” Asami told them as Team Avatar bails out of the car before the ramps launch it into the air and knock one of the ogres into another. The five beasts close in on Team Avatar as the Earthrealm defenders arrived beside them along with Kratos and Athena.

“These are the creatures you fought against Kratos?” Mako asked him.

“Did you expect them to be scarier?” He asked him.

“Was that a joke?” Bolin asked him feeling surprised.

“Can we discuss this later…? We have monsters surrounding us here people!” Twilight pointed out to them as they stood in their fighting stance.

Athena floated back up and looked to them with an annoyed glare. “KILL THEM!!!” She exclaimed as the beasts charged at them. Mako, Bolin, and Korra engage the monsters with their bending along with the help of the Earthrealm Defenders. An ogre is attacked with fire, while the one to its left snarled and went to crush Bolin, only to be knocked back by a stone slab.

Bolin forced the slab to fall over on top of the ogres as it crushed them, causing their blood to spill onto the ground. “Ooh…! That’s a lot.” He told himself trying not to gag.

“You’ll get used to it partner, now watch out!” Applejack cried out as Medusa fires an arrow at Bolin, who dodges it by launching himself away.

Mako attacks the Minotaur, only to be grabbed by it as it snarled at him in his face. Mako groaned from smelling it and gagged from it. “Man your breath stinks!” He told it as he bends lightning into its mouth burning it from the inside. The electricity courses through the bull as its body bursts into flames letting him go as it backed away shrieking in pain. Liu charged towards it and yelled kicking through its chest and pushed out its spine while Kitana threw her warfan at it slicing its head off. Korra melts the nearby snow into two water streams at Medusa who avoids them as she fired a few arrows at Korra. She avoided a few and dodges one that nearly hit her in the head and runs up one of Bolin's ramps and bends the water over Medusa and forces it to freeze her over as the gorgon screamed from the cold chill and tried to use her petrification stare on her. But before she could, Korra uses earth bending to form a large spike and Bolin uses earthbending to knock it towards her as the spike shatters her entire body.

Athena sneered from seeing it, and was about to blast her with her magic. But her attempt was foiled when Artemis fired a light arrow at her and she quickly caught it, and looked towards her. “Come now Artemis, You know you’ve never been able to hit me even once.” She told her.

“Wasn’t trying to.” Artemis smirked as Athena looked confused, but her eyes widened as she looked to the arrow seeing a lit fuse on it and it reached the explosive tied to it, causing it to combust and blow Athena back and hit the wall. Artemis smirked folding her arms. “Gotta think fast to be fast.” She told her.

“My thoughts exactly.” Said a familiar voice as Artemis’ eyes widened and saw Killmonger leap above her and go to strike her. She blocked his attacks and leaped back to avoid getting blasted by his energy, he stood up and looked to her. “I’m surprised you stuck around, but who am I to judge the Goddess of the Hunt?” He asked her.

“I’m equally surprised you decided to stick around… still selling the Vibranium?” She asked him.

“Hey, a guys gotta make a living.” He told her as he charged at her and swung his claws at her, she blocked his attacks with her arm bracers and avoided a swift strike to her head as she formed a lions tail and smacked it against his left leg knocking him over. He managed to stop his fall by holding one hand against the ground, he looked to her and flipped into the air kicking at her. She blocked his attacks and kicked him in the abdomen knocking him down to the ground, he groaned from it and looked to her. “So this is what it’s like fighting a god.” He said to himself.

“Be thankful your cousin wishes to take you alive, because you’re the only one who can get yourselves back to your dimension.” Artemis told him as he got up and charged at her and she blocked his attack.

Meanwhile true cyclops carried Tenzin to a truck and set him down when Asami electrocutes it in it’s leg causing it to roar out from it and look towards her. The beast growled as it took its spiked club and swung it at her. She avoids it as it nearly scratched her and she struck it against its legs, electrocuting it as it tried to attack her, she nimbly dodging its attacks before electrocuting it trying to bring it down, but given its size and bulk, there was nothing that could stop this thing. “What does it take to bring this thing down?!” She asked as Kratos charged towards the one-eyed beast and leaped throwing his leviathan axe at its face, landing it directly into its eye as it shrieked in agony from it as he took one of his blades and stabbed it in its chest, pulling it down as it sliced open its belly. This immediately made Asami gag from seeing it, trying to hold it in as the cyclops collapsed to the ground. “That was… really disturbing.” She admitted to him.

“It is war Asami, get used to it.” He told her as he summoned the leviathan axe back to him and walked to Tenzin, who groans and stands with Kratos’ help.

“Thank you.” he told him.

Johnny rushed up with Sonya and the others. “Don’t thank us yet Tenzin, we still got her to worry about.” Johnny pointed out to Athena as she floated down.

“Oh dear brother, how you just can’t help but interfere.” She said to him.

“Did you really think I would sit idly by while you and Amon terrorize this realm?” He asked her.

A chuckle came from Athena earning everyone’s attention. “Something funny you old hag?” Twilight asked her.

“What I find amusing is that you think you’ll be able to win… but you won’t, this is one war you cannot in.” She told them coldly.

“Yeah? Well we won’t let you stop us from trying!” Rainbow Dash told her wiphile forming a pair of blades out of electricity, but Athena merely smirked as she snapped her fingers as the undead legionnaires rose from the ground surrounding them, letting out monstrous roars at them.

Pinkie’s jaws dropped to the ground, shocked at seeing them. “Didn’t see that coming.” She stated.

“You just had to say it Rainbow Dash.” Rarity said to her.

Athena chuckled as she waved her hand, signaling her legionnaires to attack seeing them charge at them. Kung Lao leaped down with Sunset and swung her towards the front of the legion, she landed on the ground and threw a pair of ring blades at them, sliding their heads off, one by one as their bodies fell. The rings came back to her as she quickly caught them and slashed at ones that tried to attack her. “Sorry to keep you guys wait.” Sunset told them.

“You made it just in time, but where’s Chi?” Twilight asked her, only to hear screaming terror as legionnaire soldiers were being torn apart by a female werewolf. Chi snarled as she slashed through each soldier she ran passed and crushed ones neck with her jaws and swung her leg high kicking one towards another smashing their heads together as she let out a monstrous howl. Twilight was quick to give her a look, knowing she was literally showing off. “Never mind.” She said to herself.

Flash and Soarin leaped over and kicked down two legionnaires and looked seeing more coming. “This is going south in a heartbeat.” Flash muttered but avoided one of the blades from one of the legionnaires and grabbed its arm and snaps it off taking its blade and stabbed it in its face. Throws a high moon kick and slams it against another legionnaire and uppercutted ones head of and caught the head with his foot and kicked it like a soccer ball as it slammed against three legionnaires. “Score!” He pumped his fist while Tenzin positions himself in the middle of the undead legionnaires and airbends them high into the air, sending them flying into the dome of City Hall.

Fluttershy found herself surrounded by several legionnaires, but she smirked as she leaped into the air and spread her wings giving them the stare from above as they stared right into her eyes. They soon began to scream from looking into her eyes, and their heads literally exploded while their bodies landed on the ground. She landed on the ground folding her wings. “I guess looks really can kill.” She said to herself.

Equalist Airship

Meanwhile on Amon’s airship, Hiroshi was looking through a spy glass seeing it and lowered it looking towards Amon. “Tenzin has escaped once again. I can't stand to see Asami fighting alongside those benders. As well as those retched Earthrealm Defenders.” he told him feeling disgusted of what his daughter has been doing.

“We'll capture them before long and you will have your daughter back.” Amon assured him.

Nightmare approached Amon, holding out a scroll. “Compliments from Lord Shinnok.” She said to him as Amon took the scroll and read it, causing a smirk to form across his face behind his mask knowing its a summoning scroll he asked for. Nightmare sensed it and smirked as she held a hand to her hip. “I take it this is what you were expecting?” She asked him.

“As a matter of fact, it is… it’s just what we need for the next phase of this operation.” He told her as he looked out.

Republic City Police Department

Back at the police station, a spear flew through the air piercing through three undead legionnaires and they were pulled together as their heads were ripped off while their bodies limped onto the ground. Scorpion glared at the rest as he tossed the heads off his spears. “Who’s next?” He asked as the legionnaires charged at him to kill him, only to get frozen by Sub-Zero and Rarity as the appeared before them. “Took you long enough.” He said to his fellow grandmaster.

“I was busy, what’s your excuse?” Sun-Zero asked him as he looked to the legionnaires. “There’s just no end to these abominations.”

“Athena is obviously the source… Kratos killed her once, can’t she die a second time?” Rarity asked them.

“Won’t be easy… especially when she’s a god.” Scorpion told her as a legionnaire snuck up behind him, only to get a spiritual arrow shot through his head as it fell down revealing Nightwolf. “How’s the evacuation?” He asked him.

“Slow, but all benders and nonbenders are moving as fast as they can… no doubt Amon as already made plans to stop them.” He told him as he took a tomahawk and sliced a legionnaires head off.

Meanwhile Artemis blocked Killmonger’s attacks as she tried to punch him in his nerve points, but the Vibranium suit managed to prevent her from getting him at his nerve points to paralyze him. “Nice try sweet cheeks, but my suits built to withstand your attacks.” He told her only to hear her chuckle. “Something funny…?” He asked her.

“Yeah, you were easy to distract.” She replied to him as his eyes widened and turned sharp only to get sucker punched by Black Panther, he stumbled towards Artemis who landed a high kick to his right cheek knocking him away as Kotal was present and landed a hard punch against him towards the edge of the building. He summoned all his power over the sun and blasted him off the roof causing him the cry out in pain from it and land against one of the trucks. “Nice timing you two.” She told them.

“You didn’t think we’d let you face him alone, did you?” T’Challa asked her with a smirk.

“Come, we best retrieve him before he gets away.” Kotal told them as they descended to street level.

Meanwhile Korra firebends at several legionnaires as she ran over to Tenzin. “Are you all right?” she asked him.

“I'm fine. Thank you, kids. Another moment later and I would have been on my way to Amon.” He said to her.

“It matters not whether you have or haven’t, you cannot escape, no matter how hard you fight. You will all fall… and this world along with you.” Athena told them as she cackled and vanished before Korra could firebend at her.

She glared in annoyance of Athena and looked to Kratos as he approached. “I’m starting to see why the Olympian gods ticked you off so much.” She told him.

“The Gods of Asgard were worse.” He replied to her.

“Uh, guys ... look.” Mako pointed towards Air Temple Island as everyone including Tenzin looked towards the island, seeing and Equalist Airship arriving over Air Temple Island.

Tenzin’s eyes widened in horror of seeing it. “Oh no.” He said.

Johnny sneered at seeing it, clenching his fists as he took off his sun glasses. “I know I’ve been trying to keep it PG… but I’m just gonna come out and say it, there is no fucking way they’re getting away with this!” He shouted.

“On that, I most certainly agree.” Sonya said to him.

Air Temple Island

Back on the island, hatch of the Equalist Airship opens and the Lieutenant and a group of demons from the Netherrealm that were summoned by Amon can be seen inside. They look down at the island as a metal hook and cable fires from above their heads and attaches to the temple's stone steps. The demons leap out of the airship and free fall towards the island, and land on the ground unharmed as the White Lotus sentries are watching and charge forward to confront them. Lin and Stryker standing in the courtyard, as Tenzin's family watches from the balcony. “The White Lotus won’t be able to survive against those things, they’re from the Netherrealm… they’re deadly, and unpredictable.” Stryker told her.

“All the more reason we need to hold them off… everyone, hide inside and remain calm.” Lin told the family only to hear Pema screaming. “Pull it together, Pema! Didn't I just say "remain calm"?” she asked her only to see her clutching her stomach.

“Mommy, what's wrong?” Ikki asked her feeling worried.

Pema held herself and looked to them. “The baby's coming!” She shouted.

Jinora’s eyes widened from hearing it while putting her hands over her mouth. “Oh no!” She panicked.

“Seriously?!” Stryker asked.

“Not now, baby!” Meelo told it as two Air Acolyte midwives rush to help Pema and lead her inside, leaving the kids watching in concern. Meanwhile the White Lotus sentries watching as the Netherrealm demons run up the steps. They begin bending at them as a cable from a second airship buries itself in the steps immediately below them. More chi demons swing down, followed by the Lieutenant.

Stryker and Lin stood guard in the courtyard, as Lin listens to feet running. The Lieutenant and a group of demons race up the steps and charge. Lin uses her cables to take out two demons slicing their heads off with the sharpness of the cable, before grabbing another demon with the cable. A demon runs up to her, which Stryker intercepts with a few grenades and charges toward it beating it with his tonfa’s. Lin meanwhile bends out an earth column and shoots the projectile to a demons face, caving it inwards. She groans and slams the floor, creating three earth columns that sendsthe demons flying into the air. Stryker shot three more in the faces and looks toward Lin with a smirk. “If we make it out of this, I’m paying for dinner.” He told her.

“That your way of asking me out?” She asked him.

“That depends on your answer.” He replied as she smirked as she snarled another demon.

Meanwhile, Pema was in bed, as an Air Acolyte puts a cloth on her forehead. “The children, where are they?” she asked them.

“Don't worry. They're in the other room, totally safe.” one of the Air Acolytes told her only to hear a form of hissing. She turned and saw one of the demons standing at the doorway, causing her to panic.

“They may be safe… but what of you, human?” The demon asked as it let out a cackle and was about to charge. But before it could even set a foot into the room, a Vibranium arm reached over and grabbed hold of its neck. It started to choke and see that it was Jax standing behind it, making it struggle to get out of its grip. “I thought you were in the city!” It said to him.

“Sorry pal, but someone had to stay behind while the others tried to save the city.” He told the demon and crushed its neck, instantly killing it as he tossed the demons body out, slamming it against the other demons that were approaching. “Okay you demonic freaks, you want them…? You’ll have to go through me!” He used the Vibraniums power to blast against the demons that were trying to reach the house.

The demons rushed while others got blasted and turned into ground beef, one left into the air only to be held in midair by soul magic as it looked towards Shang Tsung who held it in place and used his magic to rip it in half, while Chrysalis leaped down forming her blades as she charged, slicing down each and every demon that came at them. “There’s just no end to these things!” She muttered angrily.

“They’re from the Netherrealm, Shinnok has hordes of them… reborn from innocent souls that were claimed by that accursed realm.” Shang explained to her as he blasted some with fire.

Just as more came towards them, lightning came down striking them where they stood as Raiden descended and looked to the rest. “We cannot let them get near Pema or the baby… we hold our ground for as long as possible.” He told them as he blasted them with lightning, while Celestia, still pregnant with her child, uses the suns rays to burn any that tried to sneak in from the roof, while Luna formed a moon scythe and sliced down any that tried to fly in.

Meanwhile Lin and Stryker finished off whatever demons were left at their end, and were now fighting the Lieutenant. He intercepts Lin’s cables with his batons, sending a current through them to knock her over. “Lin!” Stryker shouted and glared at him. “Big mistake pal!” He whipped out his pistol and shot his batons out of his hands and charged towards him, the Lieutenant evaded his attacks and went for a punch against the Special Forces member. But Stryker avoided contact and grabbed his arm, slamming his elbow against his, breaking it as the Lieutenant scream and used his strength to pull Stryker down and slam him against the ground. He pulled one of his batons back to him a pond stunned him at his shoulder, causing him to scream from it and kneel down. He groaned from it but was still conscious as he looked to the Lieutenant. “Man, that’s worse than a taser.” He muttered to himself as the Lieutenant stands over him and raises his electrified kali stick.

“Stay away from my dad's ex-girlfriends future boyfriend!” A sudden voice called out as the Lieutenant looked up to see Jinora flying over with a glider and dives down towards them as she uses her staff to blow the Lieutenant away over a nearby roof.

Stryker and Lin were equally surprised to see her. “Jinora! You shouldn't be out here!“ Lin told her only to look and see Ikki.

Arriving on an air scooter, she knocked several Equalists over. “Get off our island!” She shouted as she knocks down several more demons and joins Lin, Stryker and Jinora.

“Girls! You need to go back inside this instant!” Stryker told them only to see Meelo showing up. “Ohh, you gotta be freaking kidding.” He said to himself.

Meelo jumped off the roof falling to the demons. “Taste my fury!” He yelled as he farts on a demons face, knocking it unconscious. (One would wish you could die of such stench.)

“Meelo! Be careful!” Lin said to him only to see him Meelo send three other blasts from his hands and rear, and makes a small air shield around himself to send the remaining demons flying. Close-up on Meelo unleashed his own battle cry while he has a drip of snot in his nose and an awkward slow motion face. Lin had a deadpanned look on her face along with Stryker as they stared at him. “Never mind.” She said.

“Ditto.” Stryker agreed with her, and looked to the demons. “These things came from the Netherrealm, looks like Amon asked for a favor from Shinnok.” He pointed out.

“The Mad God?” Lin asked and looked to the demons. “That explains the lava for blood…” She said.

“If Amon has demons joining the Equalists now, it’s only gonna get worse.” Stryker said to her knowing that for a fact and looked to the airbending children. “As for you three, you disobeyed direct orders from two superiors, but…” He paused for a moment and smiled. “Nice work, kids.” He told them as the smiled and looked seeing Oogi flying over.

Jinora and her siblings smiled seeing it and rushed towards them. “Dad!” She yelled out as Oogi lands and Tenzin and Team Avatar dismount, allowing Tenzin to embrace his children.

“Oh, thank goodness you're all right!” He said to his children.

“We stopped the bad guys.” Meelo told him.

Tenzin was surprised as he looked to Lin and Stryker. “You let them fight? Do you realize what could have happened?” He asked them.

“Hey, we would have been toast if it weren't for your kids.” Stryker said to him.

“You should be proud. You taught them well.” Lin told him as she had her arms folded.

Liu walked up and touched Tenzin’s shoulder. “She’s right, you can’t be upset with them… they were able to fend off Netherrealm demons on their own.” He told him.

“Exactly, not anyone would be lucky enough to pull off something so risky.” Twilight said to him.

“So do not worry about them, they are great airbenders in their own right.” Rarity told him only to hear the cries of a newborn baby and look towards the house. “Oh dear.” She muttered.

Jax walked up to them cleaning his hands. “Glad you guys made it, you’re just in time.” He told them and looked towards Tenzin. “As for you… go on, be with your wife.” he told him as Tenzin headed straight for the house hearing the cries.

“Pema!” He called out as he got into the house and saw her holding a small bundle in her arms.

She looked to him and smiled joyfully. “Tenzin.” She said as he approached her.

He sits down on the bed and puts his hands on his wife's shoulders. “I'm here, Pema.” He told her as everyone outside looked in and saw it.

Pema took the chance to show Tenzin his their newborn child. “Our new son.” She told him showing a little baby boy in the bundle he was in.

Everyone geared witness of the child as Tenzin held Took their son into his arms. He puts his finger on the baby's chin as he lets out a few coos, making Tenzin smile at him filled with joy. “Hello.” He said to him as he looked to his other children as they peered in the room. “Come, meet your new brother.” He told them.

“A brother? Well it's about time!” Meelo said to him as he walked in with his sisters to see their new brother.

Twilight and her friends along with the rest of the defenders approached to see the newborn airbender, they were all overjoyed to see the new baby. “Welcome, I'm Ikki, and this is Jinora and Meelo. We have a super great family and we're so happy that you're a part of it.” Ikki told the baby.

“What're you gonna name him?” Jinora asked as Pinkie bumped her holding her hands together.

“Can I pick?” She asked with a gleeful smile while Jinora gave her a groan and a scowl.

“We already chose a name.” Pema told her, much to Pinkies disappointment as Pema rested her head on Tenzin’s shoulder.

“What name did you choose?” Raiden asked as he approached with Celestia.

Tenzin smiled as he looked to their son. “Rohan.” He told them.

Celestia smiled as tear brimmed in her eyes. “You picked a wonderful name.” She told them as she looked to her pregnant belly. Looking forward to when the baby is born.

“You still have a month to go sister, so don’t rush it.” Luna told her.

Korra and the rest of the group smiled seeing it, but much to Korra’s disappointment, the moment had to be ruined as she walked up. “I'm so sorry to interrupt, but more airships are coming.” She told them.

“Korra’s right.” Liu said to them as he walked up. “If they get here, and get to your son, it will get dangerous here.” He told them.

Ikki looked towards her father feeling worried. “Everything's not gonna be fine, is it, Daddy?” She asked him.

Once outside, the group saw the airships approaching from the city. “These guys don’t know when to quit.” Jax muttered.

“What do you want to do, Tenzin?” Korra asked him.

“I advise a tactical retreat.” Mimir advised them.

“When we want your council head, we’ll ask for it.” Kratos told him.

Turning to Tenzin, Twilight noticed the look on his face. “Tenzin, this isn’t your fight right now.” She told him.

“Twi’s right Ten, you just got a newborn son… do you really want to risk his safety?” Rainbow Dash asked him.

Tenzin let out a sigh, knowing they were right. “I need to protect my family, and get them as far away from this conflict as possible. If Amon got his hands on my children ... I hate to even think of it.” He muttered knowing it would be horrible to even think of.

“If you're leaving, then we’re going with you.” Stryker gestured to himself and Lin.

“But-“

“No arguments. You and your family are the last airbenders. There's no way in the world I'm letting Amon take your bending away.” Lin told him.

“She’s right sugarcube, if anything happened to you guys, we’d be headed to the Netherrealm if we failed to protect you, and this city.” Applejack said to him.

“Do you think there’s bathroom breaks in the Netherrealm?” Pinkie asked them only to get multiple disapproving looks from everyone. “What? I mean it could happen.” She told them, only for a scorpion to open a path to the Netherrealm and shove her half way through to see what was on the other side, quickly pulling her back as her hair was charred and messy from what she saw. “Never mind.”

Looking at his friends, Tenzin knew there was no way of talking them out of it. “Thank you, Lin, Stryker.” He said to them and looked to Korra. “Korra, I want you to leave this island and hide for the time being.” He told her.

But Korra was determined. “I'm not giving up.” She told him.

“I'm not asking you to. I sent word to the United Forces. They will be here soon. And once my family is safe, I will return. With the reinforcements, we can turn the tide in this war.” Tenzin said to her.

“He’s right Korra, the time to fight Amon will come, but it is not now.” Raiden said to her.

Korra looked to him and looked down knowing what he means. “What you're saying is, we need to be patient.” She theorized.

Allowing Raiden to place a hand on her shoulder with a proud smile on his face. “You're learning well.” He told her as he pulled his hand away. Korra smiled and looked to Tenzin and hugged him in a warm embrace.

As he and his family prepare to leave, Tenzin let go of Korra and looked to the young teenager one more time. “Stay safe, Korra.” He advised her.

“You too.” She told him.

“Tenzin, if we're leaving, we'd better do it now.” Lin said to him as Tenzin air ends himself to his bison.

“Oogi, yip yip!” He told him as his bison took flight and headed into the sky away from the island.

As Korra and the team look up at them, the two Equalist airships begin to chase them. As more airships invade the island. One airship shoots out a cable near the team and Equalists come down on the island. The White Lotus guards run in front of Korra and her friends and take their stances. “Go! We'll hold them off!” A member told them.

“Naga won’t be able to carry all of us… I got this.” Liu focused his power and slammed his hand across his fist as flames surround him forming into a giant blaze. The flames soon began to disappear, revealing Liu in his dragon animality form as he roared out.

Mako was literally dumbfound from seeing it, causing Korra to giggle at seeing it. “Don’t worry, you’ll get used to it.” She told him as she leaps onto his back. “Everyone, climb on!” She told them as everyone including Naga hopped onto Liu’s back. “Let’s go, Liu!” She told him as Liu roared and slammed his tail on the ground taking flight.

As Liu flew off, more Equalists come down and encircle the White Lotus sentries, spinning their bolas as they begin to fight. As Team Avatar and the Earth Defenders try to escape, Bolin looks up and points at the Lieutenant who somehow managed to grab onto Liu’s tail before her could fly high enough. “Mustache guy!” Bolin yelled as the Lieutenant climbs up and charged towards them. He went to attack them, but Fluttershy turned sharply towards him giving him the stare as he immediately froze into place, feeling stiff as a board from looking into her eyes.

He tried to move, but couldn’t look away… that was when Naga jumps between them and uses her right paw to smack the Lieutenant off of Liu Kang’s back as they flew away. “Nice one, Naga!” Korra said to her.

Permafrost was impressed by Fluttershy’s way of stopping the Lieutenant, and smirked behind her mask. “Remind me not to piss her off.” She said through telepathy.

Liu a headed straight to the bay flying over the water, quickly diving under it as Korra used her waterbending to form a bubble around everyone to prevent them from being drowned or crushed by the water pressure. Meanwhile Oogi trying to evade the Equalist airships, but they are coming closer to them with the urge to capture them. “They’re gaining on us!” Lin shouted.

“Faster, Oogi!” Tenzin told his bison as he cracked the reigns as Oogi speeds up, but an Equalist airship shoots out a large net at them.

Lin metalbends her cables to break the net apart and wraps her cable around the rope. Stryker soon notices the winged demons that remained as charged towards Oogie, he whipped out his pistol and shot them down before they could even get closer. “This is getting us nowhere! There’s just too much weight on this bison to carry.” He told them.

Lin looked to him, but looked to the airships knowing that they won’t get far, especially… with her. She stands and looks at the family with sorrow as they look at the airships in fear. She looks away before turning back at them. “Whatever happens to me, don't turn back!” She told them.

“What?!” Tenzin looked to her surprised.

She was about to jump, but Stryker managed to grab her arm. “Lin, what are you doing?!” He asked her.

“There’s no time Stryker, you need to keep the family safe in my absence.” She told him.

“No, I’m not leaving anyone behind, man or woman! I won’t let yo-“ Before Stryker could finish, Lin surprisingly kissed him to get him to stop, and it worked. She immediately let go just as fast as she kissed him and jumps off Oogi, reeling herself up and landing on the airship. “LIN!” He cried out.

She takes her stance and rips off a large section of the airship's metal skin. There is an explosion and it begins to fall into the harbor below. Lin metalbends a panel to catapult herself to the other airship. She begins to rip apart the airship when Equalists come up behind her. They wrap their bolas wrapped around her body and feet, electrocuting her into unconsciousness. The last airship turns back as the family gazes at it in shock. Stryker and Meelo watched it happen as the young airbender felt sad from seeing it. “That lady is my hero.” He said.

Tears brimmed in Stryker’s eyes from seeing what they did to Lin. “Yes, she is.” He muttered a Oogi flies to safety with them.

Meanwhile at a large drainage pipe near the bay, Liu and the team resurfaced as he reverted back to being a human and shook off the water the best he could. Korra and the team watch in dismay as Air Temple Island is raided. Mako walks up to her and places his hand on Korra's shoulder. “Korra, we should get moving.” He told her.

“He’s right Korra, it’s too dangerous for us to remain in the open.” Twilight said to her and looked out. “They’ll make it, I’m sure they will.” She assured her of it.

“I hope you’re right Twilight… I won’t forgive myself if anything happens to them.” Korra said to her. She turned away as Mako escorts Korra into the tunnel. Asami looks disdainfully at them before she too, walks with them into the tunnel.

Rarity approached her with her arms folded across her chest and glances to her. “I saw that.” She said to her.

“What..?” Asami asked her trying to act confused.

“Don’t play dumb with me Asami, I know that look anywhere. You’ve been angry with Mako ever since you found out about the kiss.” Rarity told her without Korra finding out.

“So what if I am?” She asked the Lin Kuei mistress.

“That anger will not solve your issues… if anything, it will only tear you apart inside.” She told the heiress and walked ahead to leave Asami to her thoughts. Asami wanted to be angry with Mako given he admitted to her about his feelings towards Korra, but could she really blame him? He met Korra long before she did, therefore having a first connection before she could, even if it was a rough one. She brushed off these thoughts and followed after them into the tunnel, to where she wondered? Only the future could tell.

Air Temple Island

Back on Air Temple Island, where it is raining on a group of Equalists. Lin was forced to kneel in front of Amon as she looked up towards him. Amon looked down upon her, wanting the exact answers he wanted from her. “Tell me where the Avatar and the Mortal Kombat Champion are… and I'll let you keep your bending.” He told her.

But Lin simply scowled at him and gave him a simple answer. “I won't tell you anything, you monster.” She told him defiantly.

Amon merely scowled behind his mask. “Very well.” He said as he walked behind Lin and grabbed her. Dignified, Lin closes her eyes and Amon places his thumb over her forehead and takes away her bending. She gasped from it as she felt him remove his thumb from her forehead and she falls to the ground, unconscious. Starlight watched it happen, did she feel pleasure about it? Did she revel in the thought of seeing equality like she dreamed…? No, the glory she reveled in, turned to horror. This wasn’t the equality she wanted… her hopes, her dreams, turned to dust just from looking at the unconscious Lin. Forcing her to close her eyes and look away, believing she had made a horrible mistake.

United Forces Fleet

Out in the ocean, the United Forces Fleet were awaiting orders from their leader, as a messenger approached him with a telegram. “General, I just received a wire from the Avatar and the Mortal Kombat Champion. They say Amon and his forces have gained control of the city. How do you want to respond?” He asked as he gave him the telegram.

The General looked upon it and read it, soon looking to the messenger with an answer. “Tell them we will be arriving in three days' time. And that I look forward to winning back Republic City, together.” He told him.

“As you wish, General Iroh.” The messenger saluted him and hurried away.

Iron looked out to the ocean towards where Republic City was. “Seems we get to meet for the first time Avatar Korra, and Liu Kang.” He said to himself as the fleet departed for Republic City. But what is to await them in the future? They will find out in three days.

Author's Note

Hey guys, here is the next chapter, and, man it is a doozie. I had to make the part where Mako admitted his feelings about Korra to Asami, and believe me, brutal honesty can hurt. And yes, given that I made the story rated M for Mature, I added violence to this chapter, and replaced the Equalists with the monsters and demons from both Mortal Kombat, and God of War franchise. I hope you guys like it, and avoid eye contact with Fluttershy’s stare. *turns and notices Fluttershy starring at him* oh god, not the stare! It’s the scary stare in MLP history! No, please! *screams with a high pitch and head explodes*
