To Buy A Succubus
Tempest decision
Previous ChapterNext ChapterSpike stood in the doorway for a minute, utterly confused. It seemed the words the woman had said had thoroughly gone from one ear and out the other.
“Wait, you said I’m in grave Danger?” he muttered, finding himself slightly confused. While Tempest stood there looking exhausted,
“Can I come in I’ll explain more, I’ve had a terrible day.” She heaved between breaths as she looked like she was barely able to stand. Spike nodded,
“Yeah, come on, get inside.” He reached over, grabbing her shoulder, pulling her inside for a second. His arms were wrapping around her. Her skin felt cold to the touch as they moved over towards the living-room. The tv was still on playing something off the history channel through Spike ignored it checking over the girl, as she looked like she had just gone through Hell.
“There, you go, Wow, what the hell happened to you?”
Such a moment as she paused laying back muttered,
“It would’ve been my teacher who did this to me,”
“Wow, what an asshole. Need me to kick his ass?” Spike joked a bit though Tempest looked over at him as she sighed,
“Nevermind, though tell me what happened, How did you end up like this?”
“I guess I should tell you since He’s on his way. It all started,”
Tempest sat on the passenger side of the Impala, watching out the window, as she imagined what she had done. Her hand was sliding the blade in that incubus's chest. His face. The sadness, The pure feeling of Hollow, that resided in her gut. A long sigh as she looked towards Father Wind rider,
“Father?”
“What is it, Tempest?” he grunted under his breath as he continued driving onwards, the car pushing around 50 mph. His focus was on the road and the mission on hand. The only thing that invaded his mind as he gave a harsh grunt, cold, and distance from the girl, who had blood on her top.
“I was wondering, would I be able to visit the church and repent to the lord?”
“What for? I could give you the forgiveness if you're desperate,” Wind rider asked, giving Tempest a side glance as he looked annoyed by her. He didn’t want to waste time when they could be heading towards the witch.
‘Because I’m afraid of what you’ll do to me if I try having you forgive me for my sin’s. I’m so afraid.’
“Because Father, I wish to speak towards god more to myself in a holy place, so that it is truly effective. Blessed by our Lord himself. It’ll be the only thing I will ever ask for you.” She kept herself calm, fighting off any sign of fear. She needed to make sure that he trusted her. While Wind rider sighed and nodded,
“Very well. The next Church we passed, I shall allow you the honor to ask for forgiveness. Do So but make it quick. We don’t want to risk losing the chance to capture this Succubus.” He growled, as though he wanted to do something else. His patience being pushed to its limit, as he would continue driving. He was moving faster as he sped down the road. Not a care for anyone's safety while dodging traffic.
Eventually, they were parked before a church, a modest church with not much to it. Heck, most wouldn’t have noticed it if you weren’t looking, Wind rider looked over,
“Go make it fast,” the engine was still running as Tempest pulled herself out of the Impala, while she walked inside. The door creaked as she pushed the door open. The place was unaffected modest beyond reason as she looked towards the pews. Candlelight filling the room. In some ways, she imagined there wasn’t even electricity. Her head hurt slightly, something that had happened to her when she was in the church. Ever since she was a little girl. Though Tempest imagined that it was from the insence. That was used most of the time.
Well, here goes. She took a long deep breath as she moved onwards into the confession booth, which was over on the side of the room. She walked inside the small box while getting more comfortable as she began muttering.
“Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned.” She expected silence but was shocked as a voice spoke to her,
“What is it you wish to be forgiven for my child?” The warm, calming voice, that sounded like an actual father. Someone she could trust as she took a deep breath.
“I-I’ve done something horrible, something I don’t know even God could forgive me for, and I’ve been feeling overwhelmed witnessing things. Things are done in his name, but they feel wrong. What it was.”
“What was it that you’ve done and witness? Remember, our father will forgive you for most things.” A small laugh in his voice that somehow managed to calm her down even then. She felt comfortable around him, also while her head began to hurt
“The church raised me and I was drilled in that thou shalt not kill, not to harm a living people, and do good for the glory of God, but these last few days, m-my teacher, a man of the cloth. He’s done, things bad things, Blackmailed, hurt, and killed. I-I had to kill someone, it was an accident but his blood- His blood is on my hands, but he wasn’t human. If it makes sense.”
“I see, it is a pretty big sin, though you said you’ve witnessed a man of the cloth, cause hard and hurt people. Was this of his own free will?”
“Yes, H-He took great pleasure doing it. I could see it in his eyes, and they were like eyes from a demon.” Her voice was trembling, trying to keep herself secure as she wiped a tear from her eyes.
“Than he had you kill something or someone, but it wasn’t human, basically forced you?” His voice careful with his words as he was quick, listening to her, with everything she said.
“Yes, he was having me get information, we’re looking for something, and the man- the creature, it attacked me, I was trying to defend myself. It’s not an excuse; I just feel dirty.”
“Death is dirty, Tempest, but you mustn’t blame yourself, you said it yourself you were defending yourself; you are in shock. Though the priest. He may be working for god, but he doesn’t seem to follow the law. He holds hatred in his heart, it seems.”
“It seems like it, but I don’t know what to do, I’m worried he might kill me, he- he’s obsessed with our mission, his mission. What do I do?”
“You do what you feel is right, what is good for you, for God may forgive you for your Sins, you need to forgive yourself of your sins; otherwise, it will be for nothing. God’s son had died to give us pure forgiveness and allow us to enter the gates of heaven.”
Tempest was plunged under the words more as she listened carefully, his voice hypnotic and calming for even the time as the man in the booth spoke his calming words.
“Most people, most men of God, think that Hell resides only to those who never found Jesus, but the truth is, Hell is not- Hell lies for those who have done pure evil. Those who have no love or kindness- The Devil was once an angel. But even he is given forgiveness- For God is not just a creator, he is a father, and father forgives, but he isn’t perfect. But in some ways. Lucifer isn’t as he was before and has changed. We all do. Is there anything else, Tempest?”
Tempest was shocked more, as she felt confused but at the same time, she understood. She knew what he was meaning.
“Do you think I should leave? Walk away from all I’ve known, cause these days. I don’t think I belong here or with them?”
“I can’t say, Tempest, and For it is your Free will, you can choose to leave or stay, that is the path you choose. But You are forgiven, from what you’ve done now.” There was a long silence at that, while Tempest sat there for a long minute. But something caught her attention, the father had used her name, and she had never told him her name. She pulled out from the box and towards the other one. Worried it was Wind rider in disguised, She grabbed the door and pulled it opened.
But when she looked inside only to find no one in there.
“But- who?” She shook her head and began imaging that maybe she had imagined the whole conversation. But that voice, it seemed so real. It couldn’t have all been in her head. She shook her head at that as she headed back towards the impala, the words, the priest had told her.
It’s your free will, Tempest. Her heart raced some as she, thought of running her head-turning over towards the forest, but soon Wind rider's voice called out towards him,
“Are you finished, cause we’re wasting time!” he honked on the horn by that point as she jumped into the air running over towards the vehicle. She pulled into the passenger seat. At the same time, he was moving the seat belt over her. When they would begin driving off. The preacher's voice was running through her mind as she was imagining what he was saying. Each minute they seemed to sink deeper into her.
They would drive on for what seemed like hours, even at the speed they were going. It seemed like it took forever, also getting to the point where Tempest had managed to fall asleep. Her dreams were an endless nothing. One of the things that plagued her as a child, she could never dream, it always had seemed the moment her eyes closed she would just wake up and find it was already morning, how she envied people who could imagine, something she could never do.
She felt herself being shaken and jerked around for a moment, snapping her awake from her slumber. Her head was jerking over, seeing Wind rider. He looked exhausted as if he barely slept. He placed the car in park, at this time.
“Time to wake up, we’re here.”
“Really,” she muttered, looking around, finding themselves in a dirty black, the buildings covered in graffiti. This place seemed almost unsafe to be around this late at night, While she listened to the impala’s door opening up.
“Yes, it’s where the witch lives, shitty place. Now come on. She’s expecting us.” Such a long motion, while they walked the car, and moved inside. The building was just as dirty, skulls, and words written all over the place. It was clear that taggers had a field day messing around with this place. At the same time, they climbed up the stairs as they would go up towards the third floor.
“You will listen carefully and not speak unless spoken to. This witch can be a pain, and she will take any information she has from you trying to use it against you. Leave nothing behind; otherwise, she’ll use you for whatever you desire.” He growled while reaching over, knocking on the door. A small neon sign that read, The Great and powerful Trixie.'
“I-I’ll be careful,” she mumbled under her breath as she heard a voice calling out,
“I’m coming- I’m Coming, Christ, it’s like 4 in the morning, The Great and powerful Trixie doesn't open till 9- Oh it's you,” she muttered, seeing Father Wind rider, looking annoyed at such a sight. The woman was a slightly blueish skin woman with abnormally purple eyes wearing slightly tight leopard patter clothes that showed off her cleavage. It was clear she wasn’t wearing a bra as her nipples stuck out like a sore thumb. Star earrings were hanging from her ears soft features, even with the look of exoticism. Trixie looked as though she was from another world. She was rather short around 5’3, but the tired look on her face said not to fuck with her.
“Oh, but Trixie, it’s so nice to meet again; how long has it been 4-6 years? I remember the last time we did business.”
“Yeah, Trixie remember, you threatened to burn me on a cross, you fuck,” she waved them in,
“Oh, but I chose not to, as our agreement you will live, and do your wicked business in exchange, you do me a few favors, in my hunt’s if I ask. You get to stave off the fires of hell, and I get information.” Wind rider smirked while Looking towards Tempest,
“I swear I should’ve chosen the fire Frolo,” she mumbled in spite as she reached over, getting her set up ready. A deck of cards on one side a crystal ball in the center,
“So, are you a witch?” Tempest asked curiously Trixie nodded,
“That I am, I learned from my momma, and she learned it from her momma, and so on for over a hundred years, teaching the secrets of magic and nature.”
There was a slight laugh, and liveliness in Trixie’s eyes as she sat down at her desk,
“So Wind rider what is it you want?” her hatred growing as she looked towards the older man for a second,
“Oh, but can’t old friends just visit? Hows Starlight?” Wind rider said like he was sinking a knife into her,
“Starlight left me, and we finalized the divorce last year.” She let out a sigh of sadness as she barely looked into his eyes,
“Oh, what happened to turn her into a frog?” the priest snarked as while taking a seat,
“I didn’t turn her into a frog, and don’t tempt me, Wind rider. I could do that to you if I want.”
Wind rider kept his eyes on her, as he leaned in with a chuckle,
“Now I know your kidding, but we are looking for something, a succubus that was broken from our seal, we want to find her, and make sure that she doesn’t cause damage. We want you to find her.”
Tempest watched on as Trixie nodded, “A tracking spell shouldn’t be hard. I should get it ready in an hour or two if you care to rest.” She turned to look towards Tempest for a second. It was as if she was looking into her very soul for the longest time, and Tempest wasn’t sure what was going on such a second as she turned around.
“Is she the newest spawn in your war?” Trixie looked towards him,
“It’s none of your business get to work. I’ll rest in your bed, wake me up when the tracker is ready, Tempest, and you are to stay here and keep an eye on this witch. Do not let her do anything to me while I slumber.” He was unequivocal as he looked towards the young woman who nodded softly as she barely looked in his eyes.
“As you wish father,” For a second as Wind rider walked off to the back of the room. Tempest would stand there as Trixie seemed to rummage through her stuff, and exclaimed,
“You need to get away from that psychopath!” she motioned over, grabbing her arms there.
“W-what?” she was surprised more by it as she took deep breaths.
“You need to get out of here. I saw into your soul, and I see you’ve watched his evil. I am telling you, he will kill you if you accidentally disobey him or do something he doesn’t like. He is an insane muqit al’ um!” She started moving over, pulling various pendants out and charms as she pushed it over the crystal ball.
“But I can’t he’s- I mean he’s a man of God, I’m supposed to follow his orders, his rules. When he tells me too.” But before Tempest could continue, Trixie slapped her right in her face,
“Listen, he will kill you if you are no use to him. It would be the end of you, better to live without god than be dead and in the ground. He nearly did it to me, and I won’t let him murder another innocent. Now Trixie will be rushing the spell, but you should get a general location and find whoever the poor soul he’s hunting for and warn him. Than hide, I don’t care where.” She began focusing the pendent a star over the crystal ball, focusing every ounce of energy. Speaking it what seemed like tongues, beyond the knowledge of mortal man.
Soon the star-like pendant glowed brightly. Trixie moved handing it over towards her,
“Take this, and it should be able to lead you, just concentrate,” She motioned over patting her arm.
“But how am I suppose to get there? I don’t have a car or anything?” Tempest asked as she looked around, but Trixie smirked more,
“Oh I think I’ve got an idea,” She quickly muttered a few words, and snapped her fingers when a pair of keys appeared in her hands, they looked almost just like Wind rider keys. But it came to her that they were his keys.
“Wait, you want me too…”
“God for it girl, besides it’s a bad neighborhood, Car’s get stolen all the time.” She winked as she forced the keys into her hand.
“T-Thank you,” she exclaimed surprised, as she realized that she was going to do this, she was making her choice.”
“Don’t thank me, just get going before he wakes up, cause he’s going to be pissed.” She smirked more, as she reached over and without warning, Kissed Tempest on the lips, a surprise on the young woman as she was kissed by this witch a womans he barely knew, but the fact she enjoyed it a turning feeling in her stomach. She did not realize that she was glowing brightly.
“Now go, before he notices anything, find out who you are, Who you truly are.” She smirked and walked her to the door.
Tempest would soon begin to run, and run as fast as she could down towards the Impala. She had a long way to go.
Tempest sneaked into the car as she looked around as she looked towards the mirror noticing the horn sticking out of her head,
“W-What the?” she muttered her hand reaching over touching it, rugged to the touch as she took a deep breath as she pulled herself into the car. That was when she felt something grab her head. Pulling her head around. She heard a growl looking over seeing Wind rider, the hatred his face,
“So you think you cant take my fucking car and escape!” How did he realize it, as she felt him trying to drag her out of the window of the car,
“You fucking bitch, I will destroy, you breaking this horn and ramming it up your fucking ass I should not have listened to the deacon, all those years ago!” Suddenly Tempest felt a pain as if a bone was breaking away as she screamed. Her foot hitting the break, and soon she was driving off. While Wind Rider, screamed towards her.
Her head was bleeding as she screamed hard, reaching over covering it. But the fact she was free that all that mattered.
