Author's Note

Well here's a partial chapter, and thought you'd have a good moment to read what I've got. Something in mind since I've been dealing with work none stop. lol Also I changed the name of the story. Someone said, Hey why not call this To buy a Succubus, and it stuck.

Daring do

Spike didn’t know what to say. He tried opening his mouth and found nothing, so he began closing it again. He imagined he looked almost like a fish, that was trying to get air, while on dry land.

“Wait, you’re a Succubus!” Spike sputtered out. Though cursed under his neck looking around making sure that he didn’t get noticed while Daring Do, rolled her eyes,

“Honestly, you just want to get us caught, don’t you.”

“Sorry, it just kind of slipped, alright. Come on, let’s get inside.” Spike muttered, fumbling over, grabbing his keys. A quick motion as he unlocked the door. The two heading inside. Twilight Smiling more, looking towards Daring.

“You’re going to love the place, and it’s been so much different. From the last place I lived at.” She smiled more as she seemed to be lost in nostalgia.

“I’m sure it is, especially since so much has changed since 1920.” She reached over hugging her friend, Spike watched for a good minute, as Twilight blushed profusely, and Spike snickered some. He had gotten used to seeing that on her face when someone hugged the Succubus.

She patted the other Succubus back, just giving an awkward smile.

“Even after all these years, you’re still not a hugger.” They walked inside at this point, and Daring reached over, plopping herself right on the couch.

“Hmm, such a nice place you’ve got here, don’t you.” She leaned back, putting her less on the coffee table. Her body was feeling relaxed as she remained in her demon form.

“Come on Cheftzi turn to your normal form, let’s relax some, It’s been so long since we got to hang out some.” She winked at Spike for a second as He tried his best not to stare at the two gorgeous women in the room. Twilight looked over some and bit her lips. A fire began consuming around her, when she took her pure form, her Amber eyes looking towards Daring, as she seemed as though she was more comfortable in her skin.

Twilight sighed some as she bends over, seeming more comfortable. Spike took note of this figuring he would bring It up for later when they were alone.

“Please, Rainbow Dash, call me Twilight; it’s what I’m going by now Since I’ve returned.” She brushed some of her red hair off to the side out of her eyes as Daring nodded,

“Well call me Daring, I haven’t gone by Rainbow Dash for a long time,” She giggled more, while she looked over towards Spike,

“Could you grab us something to drink it’s been a while since I’ve drunk anything.” There was a bit of a flash, though Spike Ignored it, walking over and grabbing them a couple of sodas.

“So Daring, what have you been up to as of late,” Twilight asked, reaching overtaking one of the sodas taking a long drink she had a look of excitement from the sweet sugary taste.

“Oh god This is so delicious,” She muttered while Daring laughed,

“Heh, Yeah, definitely remember the first time I had one of these, definitely not like the old one, too much artificial flavors.” Daring placed her can down. While looking onwards,

“But to answer your question, I’ve been traveling and keeping my head down low.”

“Keeping your head down by becoming a famous Author? Also, why are you keeping your head down?”

“Well, what am I supposed to do? Keep doing tricks under the Brooklyn Bridge. As for why I keep my head down… It’s more of who I’m hiding from,” She let out a long sigh while as she grabbed the can with both hands.

“Daring, is something wrong?” Twilight asked, worried about her friend.

“Yeah, it’s just. It’s been a long time, Twilight, you’ve been gone for a long time, and our kind is slowly dying out. After their Sealer Vanished, they decided that it wasn’t worth hunting him down and extracting the information. They Decided if we were caught overfeeding or not kept in line, just to kill us.”

“Who are they?” Spike asked more concern seeing the sadness in Daring's eyes; it was odd seeing the look on a succubus.

“The Church, they’re the one or a special branch. Back when our kind roamed the world more and wasn’t considered a myth, one of our sisters, a rare species born every thousand years, known as a Succubus Queen,”

“A Queen, Succubus?” Spike asked kind of curious, not thinking of how he interrupted her. Daring looked towards him more annoyed than anything;

“Yes, a Succubus Queen, While most of us Succubus, can make illusions and make people think what they see, a Succubus Queen is on a whole other level, to the point of being able to warp reality to a small degree. Nothing too crazy, but if one had enough energy, they could summon items from anywhere in the world, recreating items lost to time.” She grunted some at Spike, as it was apparent she hated being interrupted by this more than anything. Spike hadn’t said a single word trying to hold his tongue.

“Now, as I was saying. She got cocky and seduced a Pope offering him pleasure and knowledge, and In exchange, he would feed her. He excepted it.” She looked towards him, staring at him with those eyes, somehow they were both cold and warm at the same time, conflicting as she kept speaking.

“The problem was, as humans go, he fell in love with her, and desired only her, even though he broke his sacred vow. The Succubus had invited a few of our species, the Incubus and Succubus, to seduce other members of the church. He was keeping it secret to reproduce more of our Species. But on that Popes Last days. The Moron decided to declare his love for her, revealing what she had done, and claimed he would gladly go to hell with her.”

“Ohh, that was not a good move,” Spike muttered as he imagined the shit storm that had landed from that—especially thinking of how the church would react.

“It was more than that. It was a significant Shit storm. So the church retaliated, some priests renounced their vows of never harming a soul, they began hunting the Incubus, and Succubus that the Queen had invited to, they slaughtered them, and their lovers.”

“Jesus Christ!” Spike was horrified as he looked over towards Twilight; he could never imagine doing something like that. Hurting Twilight, or anyone just for something like that, and for such a stupid reason.

“He wasn’t there that day. Though, after they finished, they found notes the queen had given the Pope, one of them including how to seal and trap our kind, Though the catch was only one could do it. So they would begin training one each generation until they could perform it. Then before that one died, they would train the next one. Over and over again. The rest of the knowledge. Its ether lost or hidden away so no one can find.”

Spike took a deep breath more as he thought about it more and realized that Twilight was sealed in that ring.

“Is that what happened to you?” Twilight looked away,

“Not quiet, my Situation was a bit different.” Twilight would sigh in response with such a thought from her past.

“What happened?” Spike asked his hand reaching over rubbing her shoulder, Twilight looked as though she was going to pull away but stopped herself.

“It’s more of a touchy subject, But I met the Sealer. He- He didn’t try to seal me. In some ways we became friends.” She forced a smile on her face, while just moving in and hugging Spike. They were like that for the longest time.

“Well there’s a problem, I hate to get between you two, with having a moment but we’re in trouble.”

“Yeah, you were talking about keeping your head on because these crazy people would kill you, How is that a concern, as long as we keep our heads down it shouldn’t be a problem.”

Daring just looked more annoyed at the response this wasn’t what she was wanting to do but she moved in her eyes glowing brighter.

“Will you stop being a moron Spike! They are on to you! When Twilight was released it let out a lot of energy, and they felt it. So they’re sending someone out to hunt her down. She is in danger, Two of our siblings are dead!” She looked as though she was ready to strangle Spike, with her fury, though if it wasn’t for Twilight standing between them. She wasn’t able to.

“Daring who did they kill?” Twilight asked curious as she stood in front of her friend for a minute, who seemed to look more Depressed,

“They got Big Mac, Applejack’s big brother, he was one of the last five Incubus still around, The other one was Sonata, She was stripping under the name Adagio. I don’t know how strong you are at the moment Twilight, being trapped but I felt them dying I could hear their screams.” Daring looked away for a minute as she took deep breaths as if she could still hear their screams.

“How many are their hunting us Daring?” Twilight asked quickly hugging the other Succubus.

“Two of them, one male, the other female, much younger. If I could guess from what they were thinking she might’ve been 18, the guy in his early forties. Not much else. “ Daring took a hard turn as she looked off.

“Who knows how long it’ll take but I’m sure in time they’ll figure out a way to find you. Just Keep your head low and eat what you have to in order to survive.”

“Don’t worry about the feeding part, Spike’s managed to keep me well fed, if you know what I mean.” Twilight tried lightening the mood somewhat from such a depressing feeling as she patted her friend side.

“Hmm like that’s possible especially with how much of a cold fish you can be.” Daring snarked as she suddenly sneaked around playing with her breast teasing her more. Spike watched the action between the two Succubus, as he felt the blood rushing to his head. Daring laughed more,

“I think I should be heading out, I’ve got an appointment for a feeding, I have to contend to.” She pulled back from the blushing Succubus, and Spike looked back

“I mean you could stay the night if you want, I can always sleep on the couch.” He offered some with a light smile though Daring smirked.

“Oh That is kind of you but as I said I plan to feed some, and You might be able to handle Twilight, but the two of us, It’s hard to say if you could even survive. But maybe next time. If Twilight fine watching.” With that Daring gave Twilight a Smack on the ass, and Spike a slight grope. He felt himself pull back as her hands brushed against his bulge.

“Keep safe out there, I’ll try and keep an eye out for you both. Also have fun Twilight. I want you to enjoy yourself, The world is much, much different.”

She left taking her briefcase, all be it without the manuscript as she shut the door behind her leaving the two alone, with only each other as company.
