Princess Twilight really loves hayburger
It has been a month since Luster moved to Ponyville. She even befriended a Griffon, a Kirin, a Yak and a pony: Georgia, River Song, Yelena and Gallop J. Fry. Even though at the beginning she denied the friendship because she thought it was a waste of time, she decided to try to make friends at her mentor’s request. And what Twilight told her about friendship being important was right, because with each day she spent with them, she started to feel a new feeling: Importance, because she started to care about her new friends. And with each passing day, she wanted to spend more time with them.
Now, she and her friends were at the Ponyville Spa to relax. Each one had iPhones because thanks to the evolution of technology in Equestria, now the news was no longer in the newspapers, but on cell phones. Luster was sitting on a big couch for a manicure, River was being massaged, Georgia was lying on a couch with a blanket and two cucumbers covering her eyes, Gallop and Yelena were in a bathtub with a white towel on their head. Everypony was relaxing while the two Spa mares did the job. The Spa’s two mares were the same as before, but they were old now.
Luster’s iPhone was resting on their sofas while reading the latest news, River’s was on the floor, Gallop’s was next to him, Georgia and Yelena left their cell phones out of the bath.
“Have you read the latest news, guys?” asked Gallop J. Fry while his back was turned and he was looking at his cell phone.
Everypony looked at the stallion. “Which news?” asked Luster Dawn, now looking curiously at Gallop.
“That Princess Twilight eats a stack of hayburgers in her spare time,” replied Gallop J. Fry. Everypony except Luster went to see the news on they iPhones.
Luster was speechless. This couldn’t be true. She looked at her cell phone again and started looking for this news. It didn’t took so long before she found it, she was speechless when she saw the news. The photo was of Twilight with a mouth soiled with ketchup and holding a hayburger, and next to it was a pile of hayburgers.
“There are rumors going on in Equestria that Princess Twilight Sparkle spends most of her free time eating a stack of hayburgers in the dining room or even in the Ponyville cafeteria. Are these rumors true? Or is that just a lie made up by the envious ponies of the Equestria ruler?”
“I never imagined that the princess liked hayburgers so much,” said River Song with a smile.
“Me neither,” said Yelena, now holding her cell phone.
Luster Dawn looked at her friends. “Friends, please, let’s be realistic. It isn’t written that it is true. At the moment, this is nothing more than a rumor.”
Everypony looked at Luster. “But what if it’s true, Luster?” asked Gallop J. Fry.
“This cannot be true. Like, I know that maybe she might like hayburgers, and I have nothing against her and whoever eats hayburgers, but I’m sure she wouldn’t eat that much of hayburgers every day.” denied Luster Dawn, defending the image of her mentor.
“But Luster, what if the rumors are true?” Yelena tried to convince Luster that what was written in the newspaper was true.
Luster looked at Yelena and replied, “If the rumors are true, then it looks like my mentor really loves hayburgers.”
As much as Luster answered that, it didn’t mean that she accepted that rumor was true. Maybe she could go to her mentor to ask about it. Who knows Twilight could confirm it if that rumor was true?
After an hour, Luster and her friends left the Spa. Luster now intended to take the train to Canterlot to talk to her mentor about these recent rumors.
Upon arriving at the train station, Luster realized that there were few ponies and creatures in the place. Some were talking, some were with ponies foals, creatures foals or hybrids foals and others were reading the newspapers together. She heard the sound of a train approaching. She looked to the left and saw the train coming. Mares, stallions, foals and creatures came out of it. Luster entered as soon as everypony left the train. Inside, she saw that there were still some ponies and creatures on the train. She decided to sit next to a brown buffalo by the window. Luster looked at the window and realized that the ponies that were at the train station also entered.
When everypony entered, the driver said, “Next stop, Canterlot!” that said, the train started moving.
Luster looked around the train, and noticed several ponies and creatures together. This didn’t shock her, as she knew that ponies and creatures had been united for twenty years.
I wonder what Princess Twilight would be doing now. Would she be busy now? But if she isn’t, what would she be doing now?
Twilight was in the dining room, eating a pile of hayburgers made by the cooks and her mouth was dirty with ketchup. The cooks watched through Twilight kitchen door with concerned looks. They wanted to tell their princess not to eat so much, but who were they to judge why Twilight ate so much hayburger? Maybe Twilight was just longing to eat it, or else she got an appetite for it and wanted to eat a hayburger.
The dining room door opened, revealing a royal guard. Twilight stopped eating and looked at her guard.
“Princess Twilight, Luster wants to talk to you,” he said.
“Escort her to here,” said Twilight as she took a hayburger, wiped her dirty cheeks with it and then ate it whole.
Even though the guard was surprised that his princess managed to put a whole hamburger in her mouth, he left the room to do as he was told. While the guard was doing this, Twilight continued to eat her pile of hayburgers. Only while she did that, her mouth got dirty with ketchup again. What she didn’t realize was that Luster entered the room with the guard. The guard closed the door so Luster and Twilight could talk in the room. When Luster saw Twilight eat the pile of hayburgers, she was speechless.
Luster decided to approach Twilight, although she was still surprised by what she was seeing. “Princess Twilight?”
Twilight Sparkle stopped eating and looked at Luster with a smile. “Hi, Luster! What brings you here?”
“I ... I came here to ask you about something,” replied Luster.
“What is your question, my dear student?” asked Twilight Sparkle with a smile.
Luster Dawn looked to the side as she scratched her knee with the hoof. “Well... rumors are spreading about you, princess.”
Twilight was surprised. Were they spreading rumors about her?
“Rumors of me? But what are these rumors talking about me about?” she asked.
Luster knew that now would be the time for her to speak. She was now biting her lip because of the response she could receive. Even though Luster was watching Twilight eat a pile of hayburger in front of her, she wanted to believe that Twilight was just eating too much because she was hungry.
“Well, princess. The rumors that are spreading say that you spend most of your free time eating a pile of hayburgers in the dining room or even in the Ponyville cafeteria,” the pink unicorn looked at Twilight to ask. “Princess, is that true? Is it true that you eat a pile of hayburgers in your free time?”
“Luster, the rumors are true,” replied Twilight. “I’ve been eating several hayburgers a day since I was crowned ruler of Equestria.”
Luster didn’t know how to respond to the response she received. She didn’t imagine that her teacher liked hayburgers that much. She watched Twilight pick up another hayburger with the magic, but wiped her cheek before eating it whole.
“Is there any reason why you should eat several hayburgers a day since Equestria’s ruler was crowned?” asked Luster Dawn, curious as she lifted a hoof slightly.
Twilight looked at Luster as soon as she swallowed the burger. “Yes, Luster. I have a reason for eating several hayburgers a day. Would you like to sit down and listen to me?”
Luster thought for a moment. Maybe it is better for her to sit with Twilight, since that way she could talk better with Twilight.
“Yes Princess.” she approached a chair and sat next to Twilight. “Now that I’ve sat down, could you tell me why you eat several hayburgers a day?”
“It’s very simple, my dear student. The reason I eat several hayburgers a day is because every princess who rules Equestria must have a favorite food to eat in her free time, for example, Celestia was the ruler of Equestria before me, and she loved eating cakes, especially chocolate ones with strawberry syrup. And since I am the ruler of Equestria now, I chose the hamburger for me to eat in my free time.” explained Twilight.
Luster’s mouth fell open and speechless at Twilight’s response. So that was why Twilight ate so many of this food? She looked away, still puzzled by the answer. While she did this, Twilight took another hayburger and bit a piece of it.
As much as Twilight had already answered her question, Luster was left with a doubt that had just arisen. “So... if I ever become a princess, will I have to choose a food to eat in my free time?”
Twilight swallowed the piece of hayburger before looking at Luster and saying, “yes, Luster. But that will only happen later and when you’re ready,” she then offered Luster a hayburger. “Would you like a hayburger, my dear student?”
“It isn’t night yet, so yes.” Luster took the hayburger that Twilight was holding for her and took a bite. Twilight seeing that Luster started to eat the hayburger she offered, returned to eat hers too.
Even though Luster was eating the burger now, she was still a little puzzled by the answer to her question. She knew she wanted an answer if the rumors were true, but she never couldn’t imagine Twilight ate hayburgers every day, because princesses had to eat their favorite food in their free time. Yeah. It seems that history doesn’t change, it is bound to repeat itself.
