Rarity leaned back on the wall as it reclined to accommodate her. Lying back and panting in the stomach of the dragon, her body tingled at the setting, of the heartbeat sounding from afar. It lulled her into a state of safeness despite the current instance. In love with her new home, the mare found a hoof between her legs, ready to go again, a second-round no longer uncommon.
Spike reclined fully into the stack of pillows as his claw fell away from his cock, already shaking his head and hating himself, the latter born for various reasons. He squinted in looking down, his abs clenched by the position itself.
Rarity was inside of there, somewhere, resting without hope of escape.
It didn't feel different to have someone there. He could feel exactly her location due to the sense of weight. It was subtle and light and didn't amount to more than a dot. But it made him aware of the existence of a place. The feeling of another there was pleasant—but could easily be missed.
Whatever makes her happy... right? Spike sighed and remembered that she would hear that. He didn't want his mood to bring down hers. Without a doubt she could tell if he'd successfully gotten off. Meaning he'd need to force a climax even if he wasn't feeling one. Should have tossed her in my underwear and THEN swallowed her! That would have been great! Then I would have eaten a mare that tasted like my dick.
He pouted instantly. Damn it. There's not an instance where I win in that.
Spike was about to lie down fully, wanting to rock the mare inside of him around, changing the setting within for her—until something crumpled beneath the pillows. Confusion stealing his expression, he turned on his side, slipping a claw underneath the stack, feeling his digits trace across something glossy.
What the hell?
It already felt wrong to be here. Lounging back on Rarity's bed with the mare not present in her home. Well. She was here. But being here alone for the most part still felt wrong. Still his claws pulled out whatever it was the mare had snuck underneath the pillows.
And out he pulled a stack of photos.
“Rarity... just what did you do?” He took the stack and then laid back, coming to gaze at the first one, now frozen in place. Printed on a sheet was the view of her flanks, one with them bunched, the divot between largely filled. “O-Oh no. No you didn't. Rarity you perfect little you!”
He slid to the next photo, one of her posing in front of the camera, holding back a flank, revealing the goods tucked with. Mane draped over an eye and the other twinkling from the light. Her tongue stuck out in a playful fashion done only for a guy like him. “I love you I love you! Oh how I love you!”
The next photo showed her chest to the floor and ass flogged up, a hoof snaked between the valley of her legs. It traces circles on her clit as a fresh splash of wetness doused the scene. Each photo kept improving as the focus kept entirely on her ass.
For as much as he was willing to give to her.
She met him back in the same regard.
His claw found his cock and he started jerking again, able to do so thanks to the photos given to him, and deep inside of him, the mare was thrown around, riding out his pumping as she was grinding a hoof to the same area. The couple together despite being alone in their present setting.

Sometimes you have to write strange shit. It's not a rule but it's often a fate you'll find yourself into. Writing is about empathy and you can't expect to make it far in the trade without it. That very ability allows us to write things not experienced.
I'd been in a voice call when the title struck. It came to me on mishearing a quote and paring it to Rarity. Vore had seeped into the conversation in the form of a joke or something close to it. Something about the way it was said had caught me into a trance.
Devour Me Darling.
It's got a bit of a ring to it eh? Title and theme are the most important aspect of the planning of a fic as they inform everything it's to be. Don't believe me? Let's consider this little gem.
On the creation of this title came the irresistible compulsion to write a story for it. Something about the title and the ring tells my fingers to sing. Nailing a title does that for you. It creates and calls upon you a need to write the thing.
And itself sets its conditions.
First and foremost we have to work from the title. Obviously the character has to be Rarity or an akin character for it to make sense. Rarity is the go-to. Now who would it make the most sense for her to be swallowed by?
You can take a gander at ships and the like and, without a doubt, could find a decent reason for it to happen between them. But titles and themes should go together. The crux of the fic is her being swallowed. Where does the conflict come from? The opposite of that.
This means Rarity should dislike this desire of wanting to be swallowed. Why would a mare like her dislike such a thing? It goes against the norm and that's what she portrays herself as. More than the usual and better than most. Such a fantasy never touches people like her.
But then it does.
Now we have the problem. Good. Now what is the psychological problem it casts? That's inherently found in the trouble itself. She hated herself for having this fantasy and can't get rid of it. This troubles her because it's not what normal ponies are supposed to do.
Ponies don't haze sex.
They make love.
Ponies don't fuck.
They become one.
Rarity feels the need to keep with such a standard as this fantasy strikes. Where does this take us? Well since the story is the process of overcoming a problem, it means we view the overcoming as a good thing and, for that to be a case, it has to reflect a greater change and spark.
How do we do that? Rarity has been trying to live like the princess that fillies are told about. Reaching that reality, however, is proving itself to be boring—despite being the proper course to take her life in. The days are dull and she has yet to find her prince. In fact she's dating Spike on the down-low to provide some excitement in her life. She shouldn't be doing so. But pleasures like those tend to sneak in.
Wait. Ding ding!
Spike is the proof she wants more without saying she wants more. He's someone willing to be with her no matter the context. While she lives out the dull days until she gets her prince, they enjoy each other. Her current view of keeping to normal causes her life to feel dull. This changes slightly with Spike. But another cannot change the woes we have within.
That has to be a conscious part of ourselves.
Hence this pleasure strikes. It's not something she has to force herself to want because it's better for herself—it's a genuine reflection of her. What she likes and wants and truly enjoys. The pleasure gained from the fantasy is real.... which is why she detests it so.
And what of Spike then? Where did her fantasy spawn from? What better than a dragon to have the fear of being devoured. Perhaps during his rampage she was introduced to the large scale of his maw and all the feelings it inflicted her through. That was the seed nurtured through time.
This also presents us material to work with Spike on. He does his best to not be a dragon as it brings him shame. Not wanting to be greedy or appear scary as it caused countless problems and infinite insecurities. He's always promised to be there for the mare. But that means more than saving her from a tower.
Sometimes that means being the evil dragon guarding it.
In order to be there for her, he was to be willing to be a dragon, a greedy one desiring to swallow prey. Entering that character would allow the mare to experience the full pleasure of her fantasy. He has to overcome what feelings he has in being a dragon to ensure her a good time.
And thus we have the central conflict of the story established.
Rarity leads a dull life because of a notion of needing to be a proper mare as was told to most fillies. Living life right but feeling her life to be dull as a result. In giving up that notion to something weird but genuine, she becomes alive, now greater in love, the coming days bearing scenarios worth looking toward.
And Spike, shameful about being a dragon, now uses a negative for a positive, overcoming himself to be a hero for his mare. His story is not as great as he is not the central character. But every character should have or feel as though bearing a story to them.
It should be noted a writer does not have this in mind as he writes. None of this became apparent to me when I struck that first line. Rather one does their best with their opening sentence as it suggests the premise and the direction of the coming tale. One followed through diligently to the discovery noted above, finding them out, one by one, after the other, seeing how they build the pleasures to keep writing for.
I may not be into the subject matter of this story, however, the elements surrounding it are what I vibe with. Writing for the title is not shallow because the title informs everything. Good titles are not only useful for marketing. Sometimes they are the story itself, contained in few words, hinting to the vastness of the rest.
Write to the title regardless of the content.
