//-------------------------------------------------------// The Cleansing -by TheCloppyComedian- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Trying To Get Home //-------------------------------------------------------// Trying To Get Home It was a dark night, though it seemed darker than usual. Clouds shrouded the moon and its mystic beams seemed to penetrate straight through every single creature that walked beneath it. It haunted the night, singing a song that was both beautiful and ominous. Its simultaneous symbolism was not lost on anyone, and they hurried along the pitch black streets of Ponyville. Nopony dared to light up their horn, or stand where they might easily be spotted by the evildoers and bloodthirsty cretins that littered this particular evening. It was only 7:20, but everypony knew that, at 7:30, both male and female predators would be out roaming the cobblestone boulevards. Their week of feasting would begin. The Cleansing would have commenced. Two of these figures that hurried through towards a safer place were Princess Twilight Sparkle and Spike. Even these high ranking Equestrian personalities were not safe from the violent and sexually abhorrent nights ahead. Twilight galloped along ahead of Spike, and the poor dragon had to do all he could just to keep up with her. Sweat dripped down out of every single pore her body could account for, and she knew that prying eyes were watching her…caressing her…moving her tail so that her most carefully guarded secrets were displayed for the entire world to see. The very idea made her gallop even faster. In her fear, she forgot that she had wings and could fly. But even if she had, it would not have stopped the raging inferno building within her. Her eyes were as wide as saucers, and her hooves fumbled over each other in her haste. Her heartbeat was much too quick to even count, and she began to see stars in front of her face. Her breaths came in short, rapid bursts, and each exhale seemed to scream back in her face. Pain coursed through her throat, but she pushed herself further. She had to get home. If she were to be caught after the alarms sounded, then there was no telling what the murderers and deviants of the dark would do to her. She suddenly noticed that Spike was nowhere near her, and she turned and saw him struggling to catch up. “Come on, Spike! We have to hurry!” She cried. “I’m coming, Twilight!” The young dragon yelled. Twilight couldn’t wait for him, so she galloped to him and yanked him up so that he was riding her back. She then turned, reared up in the traditional pony way, and shot off towards their castle home. Even though they could see exactly where they were going, it seemed a million miles away. Twilight’s hooves ached and bled from where they had been cut on the loose stones of the street. She left red hoof prints on every single surface, but she didn’t care. She knew that, once they were within 500 feet of the castle entrance, they would be safe. Her magical force field, which she erected just for this very occasion, would protect them. She was thoroughly exhausted, yet she continued pressing forward. The horrors of this night drove her to protect both herself and the dragon she saw as her son. After what felt like an eternity, they finally passed through the invisible barrier protecting the castle. Twilight had magically programmed it to recognize her, Spike, and the rest of their friends, but nopony else. She did so in case any of her close and dear companions needed her help in the ensuing week of pillage, torture, and death. The Cleansing was about ponies seeking out their most evil urges and unleashing them on somepony else while Celestia and Luna simply looked the other way. Ponies would die, and Twilight couldn’t bear it. The Cleansing was a terrific burden on her shoulders, and she had begged and pled with the ruling princesses to cancel it forever. But all she got was a response of, “it helps keep normal crime down.” Normal crime still happens, though, she thought as the two of them entered their home and rested their respective hooves and claws, so…is The Cleansing really necessary? “Twilight!” Spike suddenly cried, breaking into her thoughts, “we forgot to check on Rarity!” “Spike, she’ll be fine,” Twilight said as she drew in deeper and deeper breaths, “I’m not going back out there. It’s only 5 minutes before the alarms sound! Do you know what would happen to me?” Spike sighed. Twilight was an excellent Princess of Friendship, but he didn’t understand why she wouldn’t do this one thing for a friend. She called herself good at friendship, yet she was unwilling to take a chance on being harmed in order to protect somepony else. He couldn’t help but picture an absolutely helpless Rarity, slammed up against a wall somewhere while numerous stallions tried to have their way with her. He saw her weep as every one of the males touched, licked, prodded, and invaded her body. He saw her innocence stolen away and her beauty become forever tarnished. Then, in an awful vision, he saw her body getting used as a plaything before being torn apart by the monsters. “Twilight…I don’t know why you won’t help our friend!” He yelled “Because I don’t wanna get raped!” Twilight yelled back, “if she needs help, she can come to us. That’s why I made the force field the way that I did! It recognizes both her and all of our friends, and if they need us, they can come here! It’s a central location, and everyone is used to meeting here already.” “SHE’S YOUR FRIEND!” Spike suddenly bellowed, startling Twilight, “AND I DON’T GIVE A SHIT IF I GET HURT OUT THERE! I’M GOING TO CHECK ON HER!” “Spike, NO!” Twilight cried fearfully, “there are mares out there who would do awful things to you! Please, don’t go! Stay here where it’s safe!” “I’m sorry, Twilight,” he said, “but I have to check on Rarity. She has my heart, and I cannot live with myself until I know that she’s okay. I love her, Twilight…and I need to see her.” With those words, Spike turned and flung the door open. He ran outside and through the force field, never daring to look back. Twilight watched him go with a stung soul and tear stained eyes. Her mind whirled as she saw evil mares taking advantage of Spike, leading him with lustful eyes and softly spoken words. Then…he would be caught and sliced and diced until he was nothing more than tiny bits of former flesh. She saw his blood pour out on the ground, and she saw perversion reign supreme over his small being. She couldn’t lose him, but she didn’t dare return outside the force field. Oh, please, she silently prayed to some force that she didn’t even know existed, please…let him be safe. Please bring my little dragon home to me.
