Once upon a time, in the magical world of Equestria, a young filly named Twilight Sparkle is attempting to pass her entrance exam for Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Unfortunately, her powerful discharge of magic is enough to draw forth a powerful being from imprisonment. A being of evil and jealousy escaped ten years too early.
