Logical Leap isn't the smartest student at her University, nor the prettiest mare in her dorm. Really she doesn't stand out in many ways at all. She's out of shape, and she dresses weirdly, and nopony else seems interested in the light novels she reads in her free time. After a disastrous and expensive accident in the chemistry lab, she's certain that the University will expel her.

But in a twist of fate, she's instead offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: travel abroad to a small kingdom neighboring Equestria, where griffon royals rule over a mixed population of pony peasants. She gets to spend a semester as a maid to a prince! It'll be just like in all the stories, and she'll make so many amazing friends and earn her master's love, and when she returns to Equestria, all the stallions will be fighting over her and all the mares will be so jealous.

But Leap's always been a dreamer, and a little out of touch with reality. And for Master Gerrick and his head house-maid, the naive Equestrian will be little more than a toy.
