Jedi
Chapter 4
Previous ChapterKay pov
I walked through ponyville, carrying a few objects with the force, with Twilight watching.
“So, Kay, how did Jedi find other force users?”
I looked at her as we walked up to the library. “Well, a few ways but the only way I know how is to use the force. You could think of it like reaching a hand out to find something in the dark. But, there are signs of it coming out as a young pup or foal as you’d call them.”
“That would be?”
“A strong connection to the force at that young of age would begin able to move things with force faster reactions and the ability to sense how others feel or help them avoid damage.” Twilight looked at me, amazed at my words. “So, would you like to see a little more?”
“Yes!”
I nodded, then pulled a lightsaber off my side, then walked over to the bench near the town square center. I sat down, and she sat down beside me as I held the saber with the force then started to disassemble the handle. I moved the components around before it broke into pieces, and I set the crystal aside and reassembled the saber handle. The green crystal shined in the sunlight. Twilight held her hand out, and I let her see it.
“So, this is what makes the blade of the lightsabers.”
I nodded, then I took it back when she held it out to me. I did it all again, then Ignited the blade catching everyone's attention. I stood up then took a few steps away from her. I spun the blade around my hand, the blade cutting the air, then grabbed, my main saber igniting it as I spun the handle. I spun both blades, the tips of the blades cutting and burning the grounds. Then I stopped both blades facing the ground. I looked to the side, seeing a large rock in front of me. I jumped and threw both the blades. I cut clean through the stone, making it fall to the side. Melted rock dropped from the body of the stone. I stood back up, deactivating my blades, then turned to see all the shocked ponies and a surprised Twilight. I smiled as I hooked the handles to my sides as I walked up to Twilight.
“My, you can jump high, plus that down strike.”
I turned, seeing Luna standing there in a graceful looking dress. The dress was long made from a light blue star-like fabric with black edges. She had a silk belt, if I had to guess, with a crescent moon in the center, as well as a necklace made of black metal with a crescent moon in the center. On her side was the saber I'd left with her as a sign of good faith.

I smiled as I looked at her. "Good to see you, Princess Luna. I see you've taken well to the Lightsaber." She smiled as she took it off her side then ignited the blade. She smiled then floated it over to me with her magic. I spun the blade around my hand like I was doing, but not as fast as I had been. I deactivated the blade then threw it back over to her.
"Thanks, Kay."
She smiled as she hooked it back onto her side before looking at me again. I smiled as she walked up to me. "So, how does it compare to a normal sword?" She smiled as she put a hand on it.
"Yes, it's strange, but it feels as if I'm touching something that has always been with me."
I looked at her for a second and nodded as I looked at her, then waved her over. "Come, I need to keep a promise to you." Her face lit up as she bounced in place.
"The starfighter!?"
I smiled as I nodded to her. "Ya, now come on." She smiled as she ran beside me as we walked around to the library's back with Twilight heading inside. Luan ran up to the starfighter, and I laughed a little. I jumped up onto the starfighter's top and then used the force to lift her onto the ship. She did struggle a little, but she was fine when I set her back on her hoofs. I walked over, then opened the hatch. I got in, sitting down, and Luna climbed in behind me, then sat down between my legs as I started up all the systems but left a-six off.
"What about your droid?"
"He's annoying, all that beeping he does."
I activated the engine as I ignited the lifters. "It will be a little shaky at first."
"Ok."
I took off quickly, climbing into the sky. Luan fell back into my chest as we rose in the air. Soon we were in upper orbit before turning to fly around the curve of the planet. Luna looked around, amazed. I turned, taking you near the moon, and I looked down that the scanners.
"Um, Kay."
I looked at her as she pointed to a vast ship Drifting in near the moon. It was massive, nearly as big as two mountains. "A droid battleship."
"What is a battleship?"
I nodded then turned on R-six. He came online quickly, beeping about me not turning him on sooner. "R-six, start scanning that ship as soon as I get close."
"Beep, beep!"
"Just do it!" I turned, flying over to the ship while looking at the scanner. No singles were coming from the ship. "Scan for power too?" A second later, I saw the scanner light up. "By the force, that thing still has some active power cells in the blaster. The command deck when has a little power in it as well. If those have power, life support should still be online."
"Wait, does that mean we could board that beast?"
I nodded as I turned, looking for a hanger. "R-six, can you open a hangar door if it has an external port?
"Beep!"
"Good, a ship this size may even have a repair depo or maybe a battle droid foundry."
"A battle droid? Like the ones you talked about?"
I nodded as I flew around smiling as I saw a closed her door. I flew over, and R-six flew out of the link area. He flew over to the hanger then turned on a light looking around. He stopped after a second, then the door opened. "Yes!" I flew in as an energy shield activated when we were inside. I landed, shutting off everything as the hanger was closed with R-six beeping as he rolled over to the main down the main door, then I heard life support activated. I smiled as the lights came on, showing the hanger. But, some battle droids were around here, and they're mostly super battle droids.
"Are these the battle droids you spoke about?"
"Ya seems the shutdown order was true." I opened the hatch, then we got out, landing on the cold metal floor. I walked up to one of the super battle droids. It was a large droid with grey and black armor. With two wrist blasters with two eyes with a black light meant it was offline.

"So, you're one of the droids that cut down other Jedi. Two sets of heavy blasters with thick armor like this." I activated my Lightsaber then cut the damn thing in half. I nodded as I deactivated the saber, then turned seeing Luna looking at the smaller battle droid. It was much smaller with a single blaster in its hands.

“Let’s see if the command bridge is still online.”
“Ok.”
R-six opened the door, and we walked through the ship with all the lights still coming on.
“So, Kay, what are you going to do with this ship?”
I looked at her as R-six opened a door for us. “Well, right now, I want to see what’s on here. If it’s worth the trouble, I’ll see about taking this ship back down to the surface of the planet.”
“What about the droids?”
I smiled as we reached the command bridge. “We could use them for guards or something, but first, we need to get the ship back online.” I jumped over to the side of the command chair and then sat down at the planet as we floated around the moon, seeing the surface. R-six rolled around, but there wasn't a port here. I started playing with the control pad, and the lights all came on as power came back on along with the scanners and, to my joy, then engines. “YES!” We leveled out in a minute then I started to look through the ship schematics. I stopped when I saw this wasn't just a battleship. “By the force, this thing is a mobile droid factory!” Luna looked at me, shocked, and smiled as she looked at me.
“Does that mean we could get more of these droids?”
I nodded as I looked down at R-six. “Do you think you can whip and reprogram these droids before reactivating them?”
“Beep Beep.”
He rolled over to the command chair, then we got the console's underside off, then played around with a few things. R-six extended his antenna sending out a signal. A few seconds later, the droids started moving again, then they all turned then snapped to attention as they looked at us.
“General Kay, Commander Luna, we await your orders.”
I smiled as I sat back in the command chair. “Get all the systems back up and running well by taking this ship to the surface of the planet.”
“Yes, Sir!”
I smiled as I looked back at a smiling Luna. A few minutes later, the ship started moving to the planet.
“General Kay, there is no landing port here.”
“Can you still land?”
“Yes, but we'll need to construct a landing port before we can relaunch the ship. But. once there, I believe we should start producing many types of droids starting with tactical droids and construction droids.”
I nodded as I looked at him, then looked for the blueprints finding the plans for an all purposes heavy construction droid.

"Hm, it's like a huge spider with retraced hands and a built-in forge. There are already ten in storage that's good. How long would it take to make, let's say an another ten."
"I do not know, Sir. That is a question for one of the technical droids in the forge area."
I nodded then looked back to Luna as she watched me talking with the droid. I smiled as I looked at the droid."
"What is your number and droid rank?"
"S6/9951, and I have no rank, Sir."
"Well, I'm going to make you a leader of the ship guard once we land S6."
"Thank you, sir."
I nodded then spoke again. "As well, I want a second command seat made for commander Luna."
"Yes, Sir."
I smiled as I watched flames start licking at the outer armor.
Twilight pov
I sat in the apple family farmhouse with my friends, sipping at my mug of cider. Then I started to hear the strangest sound. It was the same sound as when Rainbow made when she performed her sonic rainboom. "What is that?"
"I don't know but come on, and we need to go and find out."
We walked out of the barn then stopped as a massive shadow covered the land. I looked up, seeing a massive metal craft come down from the sky air and flames ripping around it. It flew over to the mountains before landing or hovering. I didn't know what it was doing, but it wasn't moving. A few minutes, Kay's starfighter came flying, followed by other ships. They were as large as Kay, but when they landed, their wings turned down then opened, making legs like spiders with bright red eyes looking down at us.

Kay landed about fifty feet away from us. The top hatch opened, and Luna floated out using her wings back and was holding her dress down. Kay was standing up on the ship then jumped back down as we ran up to them. The large spider ships moved in front of them, but Kay spoke up.
"Enough fighter droids. They will not harm us."
They backed off as they walked up to us, Luan with a smile on her face.
"We found a droid warship with a droid forge on board! Kay's droid took over their programming, giving us command of the whole thing!"
She yelled excited as another ship came down then floated before legs came out as it turned. Once it landed as the door on the back opened, another droid with two large grey droids came out. This one was about as tall as Luna with three eyes with green paint with what looked like gold trim all around the chest and face.

"General Kay, Commander Luna, I need to know what our first move is."
Kay turned to look at The Droid, seeming surprised as he saw it.
"A super tactical droid?"
"Yes, General, now the forge has started making more construction droids to aid the ten we had. They have already started construction on a port for the ship."
"How long will it take for us to make the port?"
"If they work around non-stop, then I calculate it will take three months if we only had those ten. But we are making new droids. It will cut that time frame in half."
I grabbed Luan's hand and pulled her away why the two of them talked. I pulled her back over to the girls and started to speak. "Ok, Princess, what is going on?"
"Yes, It was quite a surprise when we found a Droid battleship with a droid forge built into it! With something like this off of the technology and the advancements, Equestria will have! No, all of the nations."
I looked at her for a second; then Kay came walking over. Kay walked up to me then pulled me off to the side as the Droid started speaking with Luna.
"I've just learned there are medical droids on board. I need to get them to a hospital as soon as we can, as well as any medical textbooks I can get my hands on. Once they have them, they can learn the information in less than three days per each race. By the force, they're even talking about replacing missing limbs."
I looked at Kay, shocked; we looked up as another ship came down. It was far from the Kay's and the ship the Droid came in. It was larger and looked like it had a face. As it got lower, it turned, then a dozen droids dropped and stood. They were as big as a miniature, and they held one arm up. One with a black line going over the chest walked over to us. I hid behind Kay as a voice came from the Droid.
"We have scanned the area around the ship, and we have located chopper and iron deposits. There also seems to be a cluster of gems as well."
Kay nodded as he pointed over to the tactical Droid.
"Talk to him so we can work everything out once the ship dock is set up."
"Yes, sir."
The Droid walked over to it as Kay nodded his head. I looked at Kay and saw the smile as he watched the droid walk.
Kay pov one week later
I smiled as I looked down at the medical droids going over the textbooks data, thanks to the battle droids getting the data system up and running. The droids had spent three days typing in the data about medical information. I now had then imputing all the information from Twilight's library. I smiled as I turned on the catwalk above them, then started to walk.
"General Kay."
I stopped looking back to see a tactical droid with an information pad. "Yes?" The Droid walked over, then handed me the pad. I saw that the construction droids were completed. I smiled as I started to walk, speaking with the Droid. "I see; what is the status of the port? I don't see that information here?"
"We have yet to input that as we are low on droids due to imputing the data. The super battle droids aren't built to handle this kind of work. So we have them standing guard or scouting the area around to find mining locations."
I nodded as I handed the pad back then sighed as we walked. "Do we have the means to construct more support droids at this time?"
"Yes, we have three dozen in storage. They could be brought online in a matter of an hour."
"Please see to it; if you need me, I will be heading for the castle to see if I can work out a deal with Luna bit starting trade."
"General wait."
I stopped as the super tactical Droid walked around a corner with a few support droids already activated.

They were as tall as him, and they were lightly built with a sliver exoskeleton. They had a head like a helmet with two eye cover eyes.
"I believe it would be fruitful to take these droids as a gift for her. Staying her good graces could be helpful if something ever happens. As well as you should take a few Super battle droids as guards."
I hummed for a second, then nodded as I waved for them to follow me. We walked to the hanger and got on the transport ship. A few minutes later, six Super battle droids walked in and sat down on a few benches along the wall. I went to sit down in the pilot, but the two support droids took the seats. I nodded, knowing that I wouldn't make them move. We flew out, and I watched as they activated the navigation system. It took us a good twenty minutes to arrive, and I smiled as I looked down at the new landing zone being built. I laughed as we landed in the garden as we walked out of the ship, Shining came out, helmet in hand, and smile on his face.
"Hey, Kay, what brings you here today?"
I smiled as I heard the droids walking out. Shining looked surprised as the Super battle droids formed up around the ship as the support droids walked up behind me. "I've come with gifts for Celestia and Luna." He nodded then waved for me to follow. I smiled as we started to follow him into the castle.
"So, you got the droids all working?"
"Ya, I've got the construction droids working on the port. Once that's up and running, I'll be starting getting trade going for support droids, farm droid, and so others. But, no battle droids except for the guard of the ship and a temple should I have one built."
"Sounds like a plan, but do you think I could come and see that ship you and Luna brought back?"
"Well, I don't see why not." He nodded his head as we walked into the throne room. I was shocked at the lines of nobles, all waiting to talk to. Luna and Celestia. I laughed a little when Luna looked up from a mare as she walked away and noticed me. She smiled as she stood then spoke.
"Kay! What are those?"
The nobles looked back at me, and I smiled as I waved the droids to follow. They did, and the nobles watched as I walked up to them. "Hello Luna, some of the tactical droids found support droids. I thought you'd like a support droid, and I brought one for your sister." She smiled as she walked down, then looked at the Droid, and Celestia seemed a little interested as well. She stood fixing her dress, then walked down to look at the second Droid.
"Are you sure we can take this?"
I smiled as I looked at Celestia and nodded but dropped my smile as I looked at her. "But, do not take them apart; some of the parts are very sensitive and break easily."
"Can they speck-like you R-six droid?"
I smiled as I looked at the Droid in front of her. "Say hello to your new lady." The Droid looked at her then did a slight bow.
"Hello, my lady."
The voice was a little rough but not off-putting. The other Droid did the same for Celestia, and Luna seemed like she would jump around like a happy puppy.
"Ok, Luna, calm down. No need to act like an overexcited filly."
She nodded as she waved for the Droid to follow her back up the steps. Luna asked a guard to take her Droid to the smiths to get it painted black and purple. I held up a hand to stop the guard and spoke up. "Were trying to get everything up, but if you can wait, I'll have some custom work done on the exoskeleton of your Droid. If you can give me so time, I'll see to it, plus I don't know if your paints will rust out the metal as it is sensitive to some chemicals." She nodded then waved for it to follow her up the steps as Celestia did. I nodded as I turned then walked back over to Shining Armor. We quickly walked out a side door when I heard a few nobles yelling out to me.
"You do know what you just started, right?"
I laughed as I looked at him out of the corner of my eye. "I know full well what I did. I can't live off the kindness of the Princess or your sister. She drags me to her library when she wants to go on a bender of interrogating me for information. In the end, she at least gave me so soup of bread, but I don't like living like that." Shining laughed as he looked at me out of the corner of his eye.
"Shinny!'
We stopped, and Shining smiled as a mare ran down a hall to him. I took a few steps to the side as she jumped into Shining's arms. I smiled as I watched him spin her. I laughed as I locked my hands behind my back as I let them have their moment. They kissed, then Shining looked at me, and the mare did as well.
"Cadence, this is Kay the Jedi Knight."
"My lady." I bowed to her then stood back up, and she laughed as she waved a hand at me.
"Oh please, no need for such formalities Sir Knight."
I laughed as she let Shining go then turned to look me up and down.
"You don't look like any diamond dog I've ever seen."
Shining grabbed her shoulder, then spoke into her ear. Her eyes widened as she looked at me. I smiled, then I waved to them as I started to walk. "Come on, Shining, I believe you wanted to see the ship. Your mate may also if she wishes." I hear then start walked behind me, quickly catching up.
"Um, Kay, I have a question."
I stopped to look back at Shining as he looked down at the lightsabers on my side. I sighed as I waved them along. "I have parts for lightsabers at the ship like Luna; I won't let you keep one. But, if I want it back, you give it back, or I take it." I spoke in a soft tone, but there was an edge to it, letting him know I wasn't kidding. "But first." I pulled two off my side then threw one over to him. He looked it over for a second, then looked back at me.
"Um, how do I?"
I smiled as I held my main saber up, and he did the same. I pressed the button igniting the blue blade. Shining pressed the button, and a green blade ignited, making him jump a little; he looked at the blade and noticed something. I felt something in the force as I watched him stare into the blade. I shut off the blade, then he did as well, but as he went to hand back the saber, I held a hand up. "Hold on a second. I want to talk to you alone for a second." Before he could complain, I grabbed him then pulled him away from Cadence and around a corner. When she was out of view, I let his chest plate go then looked at him. "What are you hiding?" He looked at me surprised, then laughed.
"Nothing Kay why would I be..."
I used the force to lift a saber off my side and hold it up between us. He looked shocked as he looked at the saber then at me. "You can do this to can't you?"
"H-how?"
I put the saber back on my belt then grabbed his shoulders. "Your force sensitive like me Shining. I felt the force coming out through the crystal when you held that blade. You can do the same, can't you?" He looked at me for a second, then looked away.
"I-I have tried that for years. I don't even know if I can anymore."
I let him go then took a step back. "Um, the ship will have to wait. This needs to be addressed as soon as possible."
