friendship castle-ponyville:

Twilight grabbed her parchment and quill with her magic,"so you where about to tell me about your species breeds and you said something about gors,so what is a gor?". Twilight asked the Bray-Shaman.

The Bray-Shaman then started to eat some hydra meat he saved from the time he killed one only a few days ago and when he put the meat down next to him he looked at her and said,"well that is hard to say young bhakari leth, lets start with this The Gors are the most common breed of the cloven ones race or "beastmen" in men tongue. Large, powerful, and numerous, they form the spine of all the tribes living within the entirety of the wider world today till the end times. Whilst their appearance varies a great deal, they all nonetheless combine some animalistic features with those of Mankind. Yet, it's the horns that all Gors possess which separates them from other lesser breeds of Beastmen. Easily distinguished from their smaller kin, the ungor. Gors are marked by prominent horns that jut from atop their shaggy heads. For a Gor, the possession of a large set of horns grants it an immediate and tangible mark that denotes rank and status among the herd. In fact, the possession of set of curling or straight horns is the very definition of what denotes a particular Beastmen as a Gor. Their are three types of gors that are common in a tribe the Bovigors,Caprigors and Ungors". The shaman said while he took another bite of the hydra meat.

Seeing him eat meat made twilight slightly nervous but she remain composed and she resumed in her questions.

"Can you tell me about the three?". She asked him.

"But of course that is why i am here,so lets start with the Caprigors they are the most common breed of gors, recognisable by their goat- or sheep-like heads and legs, along with, more importantly, their curling or straight goat horns. After that we have the Bovigors they are bull- or ox-headed beasts with cattle horns. Bovigors are also bullheaded in their nature, being very competitive and prizing brute power over any form of subtlety. What differentiates these beastman from minotaurs is their much smaller stature. And then we have the Ungors, which means “not-quite right Gors”, “other Gors” or "no Horns" in beast tongue. They are not as strong, tough, intelligent or robust of frame as the gors, but they more than make up for it in sheer malevolence. Ungors are equal in size to men,and typically feature the hooves of a goat yet possess a human shaped face. They are physically smaller than other beastmen and their horns are less impressive and less numerous.

Within the violent hierarchy of our kind, the Ungors are a pathetic and lowly breed that stands among the lowest classes of Beastmen society, only surpassed by the unlucky Turnskins and Brays. They serve as workers, foot soldiers, and resentful victims to the brutish whims and bullying of their larger brethren. Due to this, they can never truly occupy the higher echelons of their tribe, and are forever forced to live a life of poverty and suffering,a miserable state that is low for even the most foul Beastmen". The shaman finish his words and he started to walk around the room grabbing random books and started to read them.

"So that was all just one part of your kind that was dividend in three, when you told me about the ungors you said something about Brays what are they?". Twilight asked him again and the shaman turn to her.

"Ah the Brays well,Brays are the lowest of the beastmen breed, their inability to possess any form of horns forces these degenerates to live a life of constant bullying and misery,no matter how strong these beastmen may be,for such is the importance of horn in cloven one society. Even the ungors look down on these pathetic creatures, mocking them and bullying them at every opportunity. Brays don't live long, being the last to gain food and always the furthest from the warmth of their encampments. Brays take their name from the braying, whinnying, whooping cacophony they make when they band together to eat or kill. Though these wretches are amongst the weakest and most worthless,it’s not unheard of for a Bray to use his cunning and bravery to assume control over a herd. Such occasions are brief,as the Bray must constantly fight off challengers to his rule". The shaman said to her then he stopped for a second then asked her something,"tell me bhakari leth is this town acceptable for living?".

Twilight was thrown off from the question of the shaman,"what do you mean by acceptable?". She then asked him.

"Housing,food,work". He answer to her.

"Well yes ponyville in the past was just a small town but over the years it got more popular so it got bigger, why do you ask". She said to him.

"No reason, well we still need to talk about my kind how about Minotaurs". He said to twilight.

"Ok...so are the minotaurs of your world are similar or different to the minotaurs that live here?". She asked him.

"Compere to the minotaurs of the old world your minotaurs are weak and pathetic. The Minotaurs, also known as Bullgors, are a massive bull-headed breed of the beastmen race that are known famously for their savage temper, brute strength and an insatiable hunger for hot blood and raw flesh. Often growing to twice the height of a man and far greater in muscular bulk, their thick-skulled heads are broad and ugly, and their sharp horns can eviscerate with a single thrust. Many have the cloven-hoofed hindquarters of a beast and other deformities of the body that the touch of chaos brings. Though they are less intelligent than even typical Beastmen, they are unnaturally strong and powerful, and make formidable warriors. Minotaurs are possessed of a terrible hunger for flesh, particularly the flesh of humans. Yet it is not the gnawing hunger a mortal feels when deprived of sustenance, but a deep thirst for the unholy exhilaration the Minotaurs experience when they consume the flesh of their enemies. In this state, they join with the power of the chaos gods and share in a part of their glory". He said to her and while she was writing down his words he then said something strange to her.

"You know that Chamon fur bhakari with the Shyish mane remind me of the females of our kind". When he said that twilight stopped writing and looked at him with a face that said no way. "Hold on fluttershy the most kind and innocent pony you can known is like the females of our kind, the same kind that kill everything in their path for food, sport or just chaos. I don't believe it". She said to him dismissing the thought in seconds.

"Believe it or not but its true,Beastwoman are an extremely rare breed of female beastmen. Little is known about them, as they are often fewer in numbers than the male Beastmen which dominate our society. What little i can tell you is that is known is that they have been characterized as being oddly gentle and shy,in comparison to the rowdy and bloodthirsty gors and ungors which surround them. In all my life span i saw a beastwoman or "Doe" as we call them in our Society only once on my pilgrimage to the home birth of chaos". He said to her while grabbing a keg of griffon ale he brought with him from the everfree.

"Do you have to drink that now it stinks and i will rather you be sober when we talk". She said to him while asking him to stop drinking.

The shaman stopped drinking and respond to her,"you call that drinking you should see the way the cousins of my kin drink in fact let me tell you about them. The Centigors are a drunken, jealous race who, through some exposure to the warping powers of chaos, have become a cross between a four-legged creatures, such as horses and oxen, granting them great speed and strength, but the upper body of a humanoid with which they wield brutal weapons. Though they are not considered beastmen in the strictest sense, being more beast than, they nevertheless are often seen alongside their smaller brethren, especially during times of war. Strong, vital and crude, these beast-centaurs are powerful creatures. However, they are not especially agile, and while they have great strength they lack the dexterity to manipulate objects with any skill or control. Centigors are bitter and spiteful, resenting their clumsy, awkward nature, and harbour a deep jealousy of creatures whose minds and bodies are better matched. This resentment engenders unpredictable behaviour, rage, and merciless hatred, especially towards Humans. Although they are not very dexterous, they are able to wield brutal, basic weapons which match their vicious and bloodthirsty nature. Nomadic Centigor warbands can be found roaming the plains and steppes of the chaos wastes, occasionally venturing into the northern forests of the empire". He told her while he was laughing none stop.

Twilight could not help it and she started to giggle and laugh joining the shaman as he described the Centigors.

"You now what i am having some fun so i will tell you about one more breed the Eastern Beastmen, distinct breed of beastmen which dwell within the lands of the Far East an unlike the gors or minotaurs they a tiger or lion base body not bull or goat some of them are even monkeys in form monkeys! Can you imagine what pathetic things they are". ClovenBlight said while he was laughing.

"You know i begin meaning to ask, after what you told me about your kind they are appear to be savage brutes but you see more reason and you can speak equus like its your normal language,so i was wandering why are you so different?". She asked the shaman.

"Well bhakari leth let me ask you this, what do you think of chaos magic?". He asked her.

"Well its hard to control and its a strange form of magic". She answer him.

He then smile to her and said,"well you are all most correct, you see the truth is that all forms of magic is chaos magic but it depend on the Huibrf Aks Zhoshuiph and if you over using them. The more you use at the same time the more you get influenced by the sea of souls. And the reason i am more then my other kind is because the gods gift me with many boons of chaos one of them his the gift of tongues and with it i can understand any language and speak it". The shaman explain to twilight while she listen to him in fascination of such gifts even if they where chaos based.

"So bhakari leth do you have any more things to ask?". He asked her.

She was thinking for a moment and then said,"yes i have something, how your kind chose a leader?". She asked him.

"So you want to know the hierarchy of the cloven ones well, we live by the base laws of nature, twisted beyond recognition by the corrupting influence that is Chaos. Though we may walk upright and speak, my kind are as close to animals as they are to men. Violence simmers beneath the surface of every exchange, each Beastman seeking every opportunity to enforce his superiority to all others. Domination is enforced with bloody violence, and every Beastman quickly learns his place under the heel of the warherd's chieftain. Should any one of their numbers show weakness, the victim will suffer for it, and his position within the warherd will be diminished. In more understandable terms, we follow a violent hierarchy based upon the overall prowess of a Beastmen as well as what kind of breed the particular Beastmen is. Those that possess exceptional strength and bear the greatest blessings of the Dark Gods, such as magnificent curling horns, occupy the higher tiers of their tribes. Those Beastmen that possess small horns or none at all, such as the lowly breeds of Ungors and Brays, are always below those that do such as the Gors and Minotaurs. Hence, each warherd is led by the strongest and most bestial amongst their numbers, whom are known collectively as Beastlords. Our primitive chieftain's as all others say we are, occupy the apex of tribal authority. It is his absolute right to rule as he pleases provided that he has the strength to back it up. To maintain his position, he has to continually fight off challenges from his many jealous and power-hungry subordinates. He makes a totem from the pelts of those he has defeated to prove his right to rule, making his personal banner a gory record of his deeds and conquests. One day, though, a challenger will come who is stronger, younger and far more vigorous than the current incumbent, and then the chieftain's own hide will hang bleeding in the wind from the challenger's totem. From here, this vicious cycle is repeated again and again until time immemorial". ClovenBlight said to her while he was looking at the window of the castle.

"Is their more?". She asked him once more.

ClovenBlight was thinking for a bit then he said to her,"well Status within a Beast tribe is typically regulated by the strongest individuals within the group. Those wishing to obtain a higher position simply has to challenge an opponent of higher status in a brutal and often fatal duel. The only exception is the Ungors and Brays, those Beastmen or other mutants who are not graced with the horns that are the most distinctive feature of this race. No Gor, or horned Beastman, would consent to being ruled by an Ungor or Bray, no matter how skilled or powerful the lesser Beastman might be. In any case, such a situation never occurs in practice; Ungors and Brays are simply weaker and less physically imposing than Gors. The occasional spirited Ungor who might step out of line is quickly torn to shreds by the Gors of the tribe. Mutants who do not have at least one animalistic feature, even if it is so minor as enlarged, fang-like teeth, are rarely accepted into Beastmen bands even as Ungors, but sometimes form their own tribes, sometimes led by outcast Gors or other powerful Chaos creatures. Above the ordinary Gors are the Bestigors, large and powerful beastmen that occupy the highest position within their tribe just below the Beastlord himself. Some powerful Gors have too much ambition to be willing to serve as a Bestigor, and force their way up the hierarchy still further. At this point, these Gor leaders are known by many names such as Beastlords, Foe-Renders, Gouge-Horns, Wargors, Banebeasts, and Banegors. From here, the hierarchy becomes more complex; these different names are not merely local affectations, but precise statements of rank. These various Gor leaders will work together, each with their own smaller warband, banding together under one supreme leader of each horde. Fortunately, such co-operation is relatively rare, and the typical traveller would be most unlucky to be attacked by a Beastman herd that is lead not by one, but multiple leaders". He told her as he began to stretch every part of his body.

After twilight finish with the writing and organizing what she wrote, she then turn to the shaman,"well that's it,thank you so much for the help is their anything i can do to show my appreciation". Twilight said to the shaman.

"Well their is something you can do". ClovenBlight told her and began to say to her is request.

A few hours later doe-Khar return to the room where twilight and ClovenBlight were staying,"ok i put the young dragon to sleep he was crying a lot so...why is the friendship princess smiling at me?". Doe asked them.

"Well daughter of mine i decided that you are ready for the last trial, but it will take time to prepare it. So after helping the young bhakari leth i asked her if you could stay here till the trial will be ready". The shaman said to his daughter.

"And i don't have a say in this am i". Doe-Khar said to her father bluntly.

"No you don't,so be nice and i will summon you when all is ready". ClovenBlight said to doe-Khar and then with is magic he transformed to a crow and he spreed his wings and fly through the window.

Twilight and doe-Khar were looking at each other and twilight said to her,"this is going to be great we will have so much fun".

And doe in return only said,"this is going to be a long day". And the two went outside the castle to show her the rest of ponyville.
