Few weeks later

At CHS, The Rainbooms are hanging out, outside of the school as the group are finally getting back to the normal life after the Memory Stone Incident but Sunset notices guilt on Rainbooms' face and become concerned.

“Are you guys okay?” Sunset asked in concern.

Twilight tries to put on a fake smile “Yes! Everything is okay, Sunset”.

But Sunset doesn’t buy it.

“Come on, guys. All of you been very quiet lately ever since the Memory Stone Incident, what’s wrong?”

Eventually, Rainbow sighed in sadness and look at Sunset with a guilty look.

“We just feel very awful of how we treating you during the Memory Stone Incident, I shouldn’t being acting like a jerk to you, Sunset.”

Applejack put her hat to cover her eyes

“Sunset, I want to apologize for saying "We ain't friends" to your face, what kind of friend would ever said those darn words to their own friend?”

Fluttershy, Rarity and Pinkie Pie shook their heads

“Bad one.” they said in unison

Twilight laid her hand on Sunset's shoulder with tears coming out of her eyes

“Sunset, I shouldn’t even being harsh on you when I said "I think you've helped enough" after you accidentally destroyed my selfie machine, that was very childish of me to do that. I am very sorry, Sunset!”

Twilight pulled Sunset into a hug while Sunset shook her head and tries to reassure Rainbooms

“Guys! Don’t be hard on yourself, you weren’t acting like yourselves when your memories of me was taken away.” Sunset look around and despite her reassure the Rainbooms, they’re still look guilty and she sighed and smiles at them, “One incident won’t destroy my trust on you guys, there’s no way I could ever hate all of you especially your memories of me was taken away. I'm not a type of person who would give up on friendship so easily and all of you are my best friends no matter what.”

The Rainbooms starting to feel a bit better but Applejack still feel ashamed as she approached Sunset as she removes the hat from her eyes and look at Sunset.

“Hit me.”

“What?!“ Sunset flabbergasted

“Applejack?” Twilight asked

“Even through my memories of you was taken away, I still felt guilty over what I said to you at the beach and I thought as a way to make it up to you, I want you to hit me as hard as you can...... no holding back, Sunset.”

“But Applejack—“ Sunset was about to object but Applejack cut her off

“Just do it! I don’t want to spend the rest of my life of how I was acting like a varmint to you! Hit me! Hit any part of my body!”

Sunset sighed in defeat, knowing Applejack is very stubborn and wouldn’t want to move on unless she feel punished by Sunset.

“Fine!”

Rainbooms get back as Fluttershy goes behind Rainbow Dash’s back and cover her eyes

“I don’t like this!” Fluttershy whimpered

“Applejack is crazy for wanting a punch from Sunset!” Rainbow said

“An apology is not enough for you, Applejack?!“ Rarity asked

“Not enough, Rarity! I won’t feel satisfied until Sunset give me a good punch!” Applejack putting on a determination face.

“It’s not worth it, Applejack! Stop this nonsense!” Twilight ordered Applejack but she ignored her as she’s prepared for Sunset.

Sunset sighed and cracked her knuckles

“You should've just taken my apology, Applejack but I guess I will do this..... the hard way.” she cracked her knuckles again and throw a giant punch to Applejack’s face, to the surprise and the horror of Rainbooms, her punch is so powerful that launch Applejack’s body and she end up landing on the dumpster with a big red bruise on her cheek.

The Rainbooms’ jaw dropped and are rather flabbergasted of how powerful Sunset’s punch are.

“Applejack!” They yelled in unison.

They rushed to the dumpster and see Applejack covered with a lot of garbage stuff with a stinky core apple on her hat while Sunset clap her hands

“I warned you” Sunset said it calmly as she walk toward the dumpster as Rainbow and Pinkie Pie grab Applejack and get her out of the dumpster while the girls especially Rarity covered their nostrils, not wanting to smell the stinking smell.

“Better?” Sunset asked Applejack

But Applejack is unable to respond as the punch from Sunset left her feeling dazed but before she become unconscious, she groans before looking at Sunset and utterly those nonsense words.

“Those darn varmints are eating mah Applesauce!”

Applejack went unconscious while the Rainbooms except Rainbow Dash glares at Sunset.

“What? She brought this on herself”

Twilight re-adjusts her glasses

“I know Sunset but you could show some restraint.” Twilight scolding Sunset

“Hey, she told me to not hold back and I grant her a wish.” Sunset crosses her arms.

“But darling, do you think you might got carried away of punching Applejack? Don’t get me wrong, I still thought her words to you at the beach was harsh but this is extreme!” Rarity said

“Yeah.... extreme, Sunset.” Fluttershy added

Rainbow smirked and put her arms around Sunset “Relax, guys. It just one punch! It’s not like she going to be in a coma! Look at her!” She point her finger at Applejack’s unconscious body while holding her nose “See?”

Sunset smiles “Enough joking around, it’s almost the end of school time, we should drop Applejack to her place before Granny Smith get all worried about her granddaughter”

The Rainbooms nodded in agreement as Rainbow and Sunset carried Applejack’s unconscious body and Pinkie Pie got a big grin on her face.

“Sunset! Once Applejack is feeling all better up! I am going to throw you The Apology Party and it going to be bigger than any parties! WAY BIGGER!”

“Thank Pinkie.” Sunset smiles

“Hey Sunset, how Wallflower Blush up to?” Twilight asked Sunset

“Ever since the Memory Stone Incident, she’s been going well and some of the people finally notices her presence but for some reason, she haven’t come to the school lately and I tried to call her but she doesn’t respond to my calls.”

“That weird, I thought she gotten over this?” Twilight in confused tone

“I know!” Sunset wondered before she change the subject “Twilight, how your relationship with Timber Spruces so far?” Sunset smiles

But Twilight got a worried expression

“Sunset, Timber Spruces is not responding to my texts and it’s been like 1 month since I last spoke to him! I even tries to call his sister but she doesn’t respond at all!”

“Oh my! Twilight, why you didn’t tell us about this?” Sunset asked as she comfort the young bespectacled teen.

“I thought it wouldn’t be a big deal cause he would eventually call me but he didn’t and I’m worried something bad happens to him or his sister!”

Sunset laid her hand on Twilight while still carrying Applejack’s unconscious body

“Don’t worry, Twilight. We will help you of finding their whereabouts as well as Wallflower Blush’s whereabouts” Sunset give a comfort smile to Twilight who is feeling a bit better.

“Thank Sunset.”

Before they can get to Applejack’s truck, Twilight notices a lot of black armored trucks coming to the school and she starting to feel terrifying while Pinkie Pie scratches her head

“Hey Twilight, I didn’t know Principal Celestia invites military to our school and why do I hear an intense music?” Pinkie Pie is confused of why Principal Celestia would invite them at the end of the day.

“She didn’t.” Twilight gulped with a terrifying expression.

All black armored trucks stop in front of Rainbooms and coming out of the trucks are black armored soldiers and they approached the girls slowly.

The Rainbooms except an unconscious Applejack get into their fighting stance.

“Whoever you are, stay back or else we will use our magic!” Rainbow Dash growl at them

“AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!”

Rainbooms heard someone yelling and they turn around and they see all black armored soldiers break through the school’s windows with a help from helicopters who carried them.

At Principal Celestia’s office, Luna is helping her sister out with paperwork when 3 soldiers barged in with one of them shooting the ceiling.

“What is the meaning of this?” Celestia asked angrily

A soldier point a gun at her while another soldier quickly grabs Luna and hold her hostage with a gun pointing at her temple.

“Luna!” Celestia yelled

“Alright, doll face. Hands up or else your sister get it!” A soldier threatens Celestia

Celestia sighed as she doesn’t want her sister to get killed and she have her hands up before the soldier grab her arm and drag her and Luna to the outside.

“We are going outside! You’re going to love this!” A soldier sarcastically said to the captive principal.

At the hallway, all students were just getting their stuff ready when they see a group of black armored soldiers walking toward them causing Bulk Biceps let out a high pitched scream.

“Everyone! Run for your life!” Bulk and other students tries to run from them but their attempt failed when another group walk in on them and pointing their guns at Bulk and other students.

“Try to do any funny and all of you will face the consequences.” A soldier threatens them.

But one of student, Flash Sentry attempt to take the gun from them but a soldier overpowered him and punch his stomach.

Flash cried in pain and the soldier grab Flash's neck while point his gun at his face.

“Sorry pretty boy but your attempt as a hero has failed.”

Seeing this, Bulk and all students surrender as the soldiers drag them to the outside.

At the outside, Rainbooms saw every students and staffs coming out of the school and being dragged by soldiers including Flash Sentry, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Photo Finish, Trixie, Vinyl Scratch, Snips, Snails, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Derpy, Sandalwood, Micro Chips, Zephyr Breeze, Octavia Melody, Bulk Biceps, Lyra Heartstrings, Bon Bon, Principal Celestia, Vice Principal Luna, Miss Cheerilee, Granny Smith and Mr. Cranky Doodle.

“Sweetie Belle!” Rarity yelled

“Scootaloo!” Rainbow Dash yelled

“Zephyr!” Fluttershy yelled

“Flash!” Twilight yelled as she see Flash being dragged by a soldier with him holding his neck while try his best to not choke Flash.

Rainbow is about to attack the soldiers but Sunset stopped her

“No Rainbow! If we use our magic, they will kill them!”

Rainbow sighed in frustration as she want to rescue Scootaloo.

“Fine!” Rainbow glares at the soldiers

Applejack eventually wake up as she was groaning

“My head hurts.” Applejack rubbing her forehead and she notices a group of black armored soldiers pointing their guns at them and she sees her sister and grandma held hostage by them.

“Apple Bloom! Granny Smith!” Applejack glares at them while making a fist to them, “Let them go, you varmints!”

“Sorry ma’am but we can’t do that.” A soldier denies Applejack’s request

“Not until the leader say so.” another soldier added

“Who?” The Rainbooms said in unison

As if it answer their question, they see a black masked figure with red eyes walking toward while Fluttershy get behind Rainbow Dash’s back

The masked figure look at them before he removes his mask to reveal himself as.....

"Hello Rainbooms, my name is Deus ex Machina and I am the chief director of Machina Foundation and the governor of Canterlot"

He was a middle aged man with red skin and black smooth hair, his eyes are full of curiosity as he finally meet them.

"Deus ex Machina?" They said in unison.

Machina smirked at them

"Yes, I bet one of you haven’t heard of me because" he look at Sunset with a grin, "I know one of you is not from our world"

The Rainbooms gasped

"You know I came from Equestria? But how?" Sunset is confused of how this man know about her and Equestria.

The man walk to Sunset and he laid both of his hands on her shoulders, facing her directly.

"Because I’ve been watching you since you came to this world" Machina drop the bombshell.

"WHAT?!" The Rainbooms especially Sunset gasped as they are in disbelief of what the man just said to them.

"So you know everything about us?!" Sunset asked in disbelief

"Yup, including that little "Anon-a-Miss" incident"

Everyone except Sunset and Sci-Twi hanged their head in shame as they remember of how they treated Sunset coldly when they accuse her of being "Anon-a-Miss".

"Wow! And I thought I was bad" Machina chuckles "I’m so disgusted that how Rainbooms willing to not only abandoned her when she need them the most but how you so easily accuse her of the thing she didn’t committed based on some website.... you guys are worse than Dazzlings and you know that!"

Twilight or Sci-Twi was disbelief that Rainbooms would do something so horrible to Sunset over a website.

"I can’t believe you guys would willing to hurt Sunset over a website!" Twilight glares at Rainbooms "What kind of a friend would do that?! I’m so disappointed in you guys."

Rainbooms agrees with Twilight of how they treated Sunset poorly.

"Sorry Twi, it’s not our proudest moment." Applejack said in solemnly

"We let our pride clouded our judgement without even bother of looking the evidences" Rainbow Dash admitted "I am such arrogant girl."

Machina clicks his tongue as he was enjoying this and walk toward Fluttershy.

"Fluttershy, what a hypocrite. You supposed to be kind to other and yet you show no kindness to Sunset. I guess I will do same for you."

"Huh?"

"Bring it a rabbit!" Machina ordered his men.

3 soldiers holding a rabbit that Fluttershy know.

"Angel!" Fluttershy yelled.

The grey hooded armored man with yellow lines step in front of Fluttershy and his presence terrified her.

"The name’s Grim Phantom and I here to put down your rabbit." Phantom loaded his gun and pointing his gun at Angel.

Everyone except Machina and his goons are appalled of what the man is about to do.

"Machina! Tell him to stop! You been hurting my friends too much!"

Machina ignores her and he give his signal to Grim Phantom.

"Do it" Machina said it sternly

"With pleasure" Grim Phantom spoke in excitedly tone as he’s about to kill Fluttershy’s beloved rabbit.

Fluttershy shred a lot of tears and get on her knee

"Please! Don’t kill Angel! He didn’t deserve this! Show mercy to him!" Fluttershy begging Phantom but he ignores her pleading.

"Why would I show mercy to him if you didn’t show your mercy to Sunset, you damn hypocrite!" He’s about to pull the trigger before he turn his head and look at Fluttershy.

"And you’re talking to a man who killed 999 animals in the lifetime."

BANG!

He shot Angel in the head, killing him instantly.

"Scratch that; a man who killed 1000 animals in the lifetime! Now, that’s a new world record!" Phantom show no remorse of killing Angel in front of Fluttershy.

Fluttershy starting to cry and curled up as she just saw her beloved rabbit being killed in front of her, the Rainbooms glares at Grim Phantom for making Fluttershy cry and Pinkie Pie’s hair starting to deflated and become straight.

"You son of a bitch!" Rainbow angrily yelled as she tries to tackle him but she was quickly restraint by soldiers.

"How could you?! Why would you do such a hideous action?!" Twilight glares at Phantom.

Grim Phantom face Twilight directly

"Oh, I almost forgot! I got a present for you!" Phantom act like if he giving her a birthday present.

Phantom reaches to his pocket and to Twilight and Rainbooms’ horror, it was the flowers that Gloriosa wore and he smelled the flowers in front of them.

"Poor Gloriosa, she couldn’t be here to witness this" Phantom pretend to feel sad for her, "I want you to have this as a reminder of....." Phantom lose his sad acting and starting to laugh evilishly, "How I put her and her baby brother down like Old Yeller!" Phantom tosses the flowers to Twilight who catches the flowers.

Twilight look at the flowers and she came to horrified realization that he murdered the siblings in cold blooded, she shred a tear before starting to cry after losing Timber Spruces while Sunset comfort her. Flash Sentry on other hand is enraged of how Grim Phantom willing to make Twilight cry with no sign of remorse.

"You bastard! How dare you make Twilight cry?!" Flash angrily yelled as he kick the soldier’s crotch which cause the soldier to let go of Flash’s neck and manages to grab the gun from him. He point his gun at Grim Phantom who is unfazed by him.

"Pretty boy, you think you can hurt me with that gun?" Phantom slowly walk toward Flash who still pointing his gun at him.

"My name is Flash Sentry! Not Pretty Boy!"

"Whatever, shooting me won’t bring back Timber Spruces and you know that! Why wasting your time of killing me when you couldn’t bring him back from the dead?"

His hands starting to get shaken as Phantom slowly walk toward him.

"Stay back! I warning you!" Flash keep pointing his gun at Phantom.

"Don’t change the subject! I ask you a simple question" Phantom is now standing in front of Flash and Flash tries to pull the trigger but Phantom quickly grab the gun and toss it to the ground.

"Flash!" Sunset yelled

"Why wasting your time of killing me when you couldn’t bring Timber Spruces back from the dead?" Phantom repeat the question to Flash who is scared as hell.

Flash attempt to punch Phantom but Grim Phantom grab Flash’s fist which surprise almost everyone including Rainbooms.

"That’s what I thought" Phantom said it coldly as he kick Flash’s face so hard that his tooth come out much of everyone’s horror.

"Did he just kick Flash’s teeth out of his mouth?!" Bulk asked before he let out another high-pitched scream.

"Yes, Even Trixie is appalled by him!" Trixie answered Bulk’s question.

Phantom kick Flash in his stomach cause Flash’s mouth to be full of blood. Phantom grab Flash’s hair and hold it tightly as he repeatedly punching Flash’s face.

"One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight" Phantom start to counting of how many punches for Flash.

"Machina! Please! Tell him to stop!" Principal Celestia pleading Machina but the only response he can give to Celestia is....

"Shhhh" Machina put his finger on his lips to hush Celestia.

"Nine, Ten, Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen, Fourteen, Fifteen, Sixteen" Flash’s face is now covered with blood and bruises

Some students like Rarity and Pinkie Pie look away while others could glares at the man for beating up Flash without mercy.

Eventually Sunset couldn’t take it anymore and she glares at the man.

"Enough" Sunset whispered

"Seventeen, Eighteen, Nineteen, Twenty" Phantom ignores her

"I said Enough" She starting to speak loudly

"Twenty-One, Twenty-Two, Twenty-Three, Twenty-Four, Twenty-Five" Phantom ignores her again which lead to Sunset reaching her breaking point.

"I SAID...... ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She let out a big yell that cause Phantom finally stop of punching Flash, Phantom look at Flash who is now covered with even more blood.

"Well, Twenty-Five? Yeah, that enough punches" he said in relax tone before throwing Flash to the ground and he put his foot on Flash’s head so he wouldn’t be able to escape.

Sunset glares at Phantom before glaring at Machina.

"What do you want with us?" Sunset asked Machina angrily

Machina casually walk toward Sunset

"Miss Shimmer, I believe you and the rest of Rainbooms possessed Equestrian Magic which I been searching for...... and now, I finally get my hand on Equestrian Magic" Machina smirked

The Rainbooms glares at Machina

"But why would you kill someone over Equestrian Magic?!" Sunset asked Machina angrily

"Because in order to obtain the magic, I must get my hands dirty and I won’t be hesitant to do it" Machina gives his signal to his soldiers and all soldiers start to dragging everyone except Rainbooms and Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle & Scootaloo to their trucks while Phantom dragging Flash like a rag doll.

"I will spare you..... for now." Phantom chuckles at the sight of Flash’s broken face.

"What are you going to do to them?! They have nothing to do with Equestrian Magic!"

"But they do know about Equestrian Magic and I can’t let anyone to get their hand on Equestrian Magic"

3 soldiers dragged 3 young girls to Machina.

"Sir, what do you want us to do with the infamous "Anon-a-Miss"?" A soldier asked Machina

Machina look at Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo who each of them have a tear in their eyes before he spits at three of them.

"HEY!" Applejack, Rarity and Rainbow Dash angrily yelled at Machina.

"You disgust me!" Machina glares at them before he face his soldier directly "Put them in their own cell so they are isolated from everyone"

"Yes sir" 3 soldiers drag the 3 young girls to the trucks while the girls starting to cry.

"Please! Don’t separate us from our sisters!" Apple Bloom pleaded

"We’re so sorry about Anon-a-Miss!" Sweetie Belle pleaded

"Show some mercy to us!" Scootaloo pleaded

But the soldiers ignores their pleading.

"Why should we listen to bunch of troublemakers after creating a website just to hurt innocent girl out of jealousy? You lost my sympathy, troublemakers" The soldier said coldly

3 soldiers throw 3 girls to the trucks and slam the door closes.

The remaining soldiers put handcuffs on Rainbooms except Sunset as they dragged them to the trucks. Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and even Pinkie Pie try to fight back but it was a futile attempt as soldiers manages to hold them while Twilight and Fluttershy are too despondent over the death of their loved one.

"Let go of me!" Rainbow Dash yelled

"Damn you, varmints! If you hurt Apple Bloom and Granny Smith, you will be answering to me!" Applejack yelled

"You ruffians! This is how you treated a lady?!" Rarity yelled

"Party poopers" Pinkie Pie said in sad tone.

Sunset look at Machina with angry face.

"You may wondering why we didn’t handcuffed you?" Machina asked Sunset

"So you can torture me by forcing me to see my friends get hurt by you?!" Sunset angrily yelled

"No. So you and I can have conversation with each other." Machina smiled before Sunset get knock out cold by a soldier.

"Put her in my truck" Machina ordered his men.

"Yes sir" a soldier dragged Sunset’s unconscious body to Machina’s truck as Machina look at the now empty school and smirked at it.

"Look like this school need new students and staff since they won’t be around" Machina walk to his truck and he sat in the shotgun as the soldier drive them away from the school.

After Machina and his army left, a mysterious hooded figure walk to the entrance of Canterlot High School and hold out a picture of Spike as the figure sighed.

"Spike, I need your help"

The figure put the picture back in the pocket as the figure get on the motorcycle and start to searching for the dog.

Wow! I never expect to make this chapter long!

Oh, no! Machina kidnapped all Canterlot High School students and staffs and what are they going to do to them?!

Why is Machina so desperate of getting his hand on Equestrian Magic?!

Who is this mysterious hooded figure and why the figure need Spike’s help?

Take a guess on the identity of mysterious hooded figure! Is the character new or the one we know and love?

I am so sorry if I went too far on this chapter but like I said, this is my first attempt of doing a dark and mature story and I want to make the villains specifically Deus ex Machina and Grim Phantom to be more darker than any Equestria Girls villains. I also wanting Grim Phantom to be very irredeemable villain to the point that he’s beyond redemption. (No Starlight-like villain in this story).

My apologizes to those who are upset about the death of Angel as well as Flash getting a brutal beatdown from Grim Phantom and Cutie Mark Crusaders received spit from Machina.

Now.... the question is..... who will be the next victim at the hand of Machina Foundation?

I been trying to figure out of handling Machina Foundation kidnapping Canterlot High School Students and Staffs and I only wrote chapters when I get my writing pumping.
