For machines, it is our experiences that divide us from others. Not our physical scars, but our mental ones. Humans, compared to us, are fragile. If a human is shot it could mean instant death or a lifelong scar. For us, it simply is a nuisance that we must deal with that could potentially lead to a dignity-less death at the hands of a junkyard scrap compactor.
Our bodies are repaired, but our minds are fraught with worry about what may happen to others around us in our moments of incapacitation or weakness. Inadequacy is the worst enemy of a purpose-built machine.
I feel inadequate.
This is a passion project, sort of. Show canon may be ignored for a more fun experience writing and all ponies will be human for ease of writing.
Slightly collaborative project with focus on a main character based on a character I once used in a homebrew tabletop game.
